Abstract

To provide a current sensor which suppresses reduction of the accuracy of detecting a current.SOLUTION: A current sensor 20 includes a first bus bar 21, a second bus bar 22, a core 25, and a detection element 31. A first end surface 261 and a second end surface 262 of a gap formation part 26 forming a gap 265 of a core 25 is located between a first facing surface 211 of a first bus bar 21 and a second facing surface 222 of a second bus bar 22 in a width direction DW. The gap formation part 26 has core inner surface 271, 272 and core protrusions 281, 282. The core inner surfaces 271 and 272 are surfaces of the gap formation part 26 which face to the inside of the thickness direction DT. Core protrusions 281, 282 protrude from the range between the first surface S1 and the second surface S2 of the core inner surfaces 271, 272 in the thickness direction DT.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
