Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present disclosure relates to an information processing method, a program, and an information processing device. [Background technology]
[0002] Conventionally, there is a technology that allows users to give each other cryptocurrency as an incentive. For example, a cryptocurrency processing system is known that transfers cryptocurrency that can be freely used between users and stores the history of cryptocurrency given between users (for example, see Patent Document 1). [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] Patent No. 7153920 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] As in the conventional technology, the number of users who hold crypto assets whose value fluctuates is increasing. However, there are still some aspects of holding crypto assets whose value fluctuates that make it difficult for general users to do so easily. In addition, in electronic commerce, when a product transaction is successful, the seller receives the sales proceeds, but in most cases, the payment is made in the form of electronic money or points, and there is little variety in the way in which payment can be received.
[0005] Therefore, the present disclosure aims to provide an information processing method, a program, and an information processing device that can increase the variety of ways to receive sales proceeds in electronic commerce and easily grant users currency or the like with variable value. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] An information processing method according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes an information processing device that acquires at least a portion of a user's sales proceeds in an electronic commerce transaction, acquires the current value of a currency or property right having a fluctuating monetary value, converts at least a portion of the sales proceeds into the currency or property right based on the current value, and associates the converted currency or property right with the user. The program 1121 may also include instructions for executing a process of providing an electronic commerce service and / or a payment service to a user. Furthermore, the program 1121 may also include instructions for executing a process of providing a trading service for a currency or property right having a variable value to a user.
[0059] Currencies with fluctuating value include, for example, crypto assets (virtual currencies), and property rights with fluctuating value include securities including capital securities such as stocks, bonds, and investment trusts, FX (foreign exchange margin trading), CFDs (contract for difference), gold, etc. In the following, we will use crypto assets as an example of currencies or property rights with fluctuating value to explain.
[0060] The user information 1122 includes information on users registered in the electronic commerce platform. The user information 1122 may also be linked to a payment service that performs electronic payments and include information on users who use the payment service. The user information 1122 may also be linked to a trading service that performs crypto asset transactions and include information on users who use a crypto asset trading service, or may be linked to user information of users who use the crypto asset trading service using user IDs, etc.
[0061] 2 shows an example of user information 1122 according to an embodiment. The user information manages information about each member user created by a business providing an electronic commerce platform. The business may be a payment business that operates and manages a payment service, or a business that operates a cryptocurrency exchange that trades cryptocurrency.
[0062] "User ID" includes user identification information (user ID: Identifier) that allows server 110 to uniquely identify the user. "Email address" includes the email address registered by the user. "Name" includes the user's name. "Occupation" includes the occupation registered by the user. In addition to the above examples, user information may also include annual income, address, date of birth, whether or not the user has an electric power operator's license, the driver's license number if the user has a driver's license, and My Number card number.
[0063] 3 shows an example of account information 1123 according to an embodiment. The account information manages information on each user's account created by, for example, an electronic commerce business operator. The electronic commerce business operator may be, for example, a person who operates and manages an electronic payment service and / or a cryptocurrency trading business operator.
[0064] "User ID" includes user identification information that allows the server 110 to uniquely identify the user. "Password" includes a password for user authentication. "Balance" includes the balance of electronic money (or electronic value) in the account held by the user. Electronic money is, for example, a monetary value that is digitized from cash and can be used for payment.
[0065] In the example shown in FIG. 3, the balance includes a charge amount, a sales amount (sales proceeds), points 1, points 2, etc. These types are merely examples and are not limited to these. The charge amount indicates, for example, the amount deposited by a user from his / her own bank account into an account created by a business operator. The sales amount indicates, for example, the profits earned by a user by listing and selling a product on a linked e-commerce platform. Points 1 are, for example, points earned by a user by converting a sales amount, and indicate points to be used on a linked e-commerce platform. Points 2 are, for example, points granted by a third party such as a business operator, and are points to be used at affiliated stores affiliated with an e-commerce platform or a payment service.
[0066] The user can top up any amount to the account balance once identity verification is completed by entering their bank account information in the application provided by the operator, associating their user ID with their bank account. Note that the charge amount can also be added to a convenience store or other location in addition to a bank account. In the following, if identity verification based on the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds has been completed, it will be written as "after identity verification," and if identity verification has not been completed, it will be written as "before identity verification."
[0067] Points 1 are paid points converted from sales amounts in order for a user to make transactions on the electronic commerce platform before a bank connection is established, and a validity period may be set for points 1. The validity period may be, for example, six months. Points 1 can be withdrawn from sales amounts after a bank connection is established, so there is no need to convert them to new points 1 and hold them. Therefore, points 1 held before a bank connection will gradually decrease with use. A bank connection is a state in which a user's account is associated with a bank account held by the user.
[0068] Point 2 is a free point that is distributed or given as a benefit by a business operator or the like, and an expiration date may be set for Point 2. The expiration date for Point 2 may be set to be shorter than the expiration date for Point 1.
[0069] "Crypto assets" include crypto assets into which at least a portion of the sales proceeds are converted, and crypto assets purchased or held by users. Crypto assets are, for example, Bitcoin (registered trademark), and are a form of financial value that is volatile and can be exchanged.
[0070] The crypto assets may be stored in a separate DB. In this case, the user ID of the account in the electronic commerce transaction etc. may be associated with the user ID of the account in the crypto asset transaction, thereby associating the balance in the electronic commerce transaction of the same user with the crypto assets in the crypto asset transaction. Even if it is the same user, the user ID in the electronic commerce transaction and the user ID in the crypto asset transaction may be different IDs.
[0071] FIG. 4 shows an example of the payment management information 1124 according to the embodiment. The payment management information may be any information related to payment. For example, it is information generated by a payment terminal when a user purchases a product, and transmitted to the server 110. The "payment ID" includes identification information (payment ID) for identifying the payment. The "date and time" includes the date and time when the electronic payment is completed. The electronic payment may include, for example, a payment using a two-dimensional code, a credit card payment, or a cryptocurrency payment described later. The "store ID" includes store information (also referred to as a store ID) of the store where the electronic payment is made. In addition, if the store has multiple POS terminals, the store ID may be the ID of the POS terminal. The "payment amount" includes the payment amount when the electronic payment is made. The "payment method" includes information on the payment method used for the payment. The payment method is, for example, one of a lump sum payment, a deferred payment in which a lump sum is paid in the following month or later, a fixed amount deferred payment in which a fixed amount is settled in the following month or later, a convenience store payment, a credit card payment, a balance payment, a bonus payment, and the like. In addition, multiple payment methods may be selected for one payment. "Status" includes information indicating "Completed" if the payment (clearance) has been completed, and information indicating "Not yet" if the payment has not been completed.
[0072] When the server 110 cooperates with an e-commerce service provided by an e-commerce platform, the transaction management information 1125 includes historical transaction information regarding the purchase and sale of goods on the e-commerce platform.
[0073] FIG. 5 shows an example of transaction management information 1125 according to an embodiment. "Seller ID" includes the user ID of the seller user. "Product name" includes the name of the product. "Description" includes a description of the product. "Amount" includes the selling price of the product. Note that "Product name", "Description", and "Amount" are included in the listing information of the product, and other information may be included in the listing information. "Listing time" includes the time when the product was put up for sale. "Purchaser ID" includes the user ID of the user who purchased the product. "Payment method" includes the payment method used by the purchaser to purchase the product.
[0074] Other items of the transaction management information may include "status." "Status" includes the state of a transaction in electronic commerce. The status may include "in transaction," which indicates that a transaction is currently in progress, "in negotiation," which indicates that negotiation is in progress with the user who is the buyer, and "completed," which indicates that the item has been sold.
[0075] The transaction management information may also include a "currency ratio." The "currency ratio" includes the ratio of crypto assets to the sales amount in an electronic commerce transaction. The "currency ratio" may also include the amount converted into crypto assets.
[0076] Returning to Fig. 1, the payment control module 1126 stored in the memory 112 is executed by the processor 111 to execute payment processing when each user purchases a product on the electronic commerce platform, payment processing when each user purchases a product at each affiliated store, etc. For example, payment processing at a store is managed by the payment management information shown in Fig. 4, and payment processing at the electronic commerce platform is managed by the transaction management information shown in Fig. 5.
[0077] Furthermore, the first transaction control module 1127 stored in the memory 112 is executed by the processor 1111 to control buying and selling transactions in the electronic commerce platform. For example, the first transaction control module 1127 controls user registration, listing processing, buying and selling transaction processing, evaluation processing, management processing of electronic value, and the like in the electronic commerce platform.
[0078] The second transaction control module 1128 stored in the memory 112 controls crypto asset transactions. For example, the second transaction control module 1128 creates an account for crypto assets and performs a process of buying and selling a specified crypto asset at the user's instruction. Furthermore, when the user allows the second transaction control module 1128 to purchase a crypto asset, the second transaction control module 1128 purchases the crypto asset from a crypto asset trading platform (also referred to as a "crypto asset exchange") using the proceeds at a rate or amount set by default or by the user. Hereinafter, this purchase process is also referred to as a conversion process (or exchange process) into crypto assets. The second transaction control module 1128 may be provided on a server of another business (e.g., server 150).
[0079] Below, we will explain the process of converting at least a portion of the sales proceeds into crypto assets when a transaction for an item listed by a user is completed on an e-commerce platform.
[0080] The first transaction control module 1127 controls the transaction of the listed goods, for example, allowing users to list the goods on the platform, controlling bidding and winning bids, managing the shipment of the goods, accepting receipt of the goods, and evaluating the users of the transaction parties to complete the transaction process.
[0081] When the transaction is completed, the first transaction control module 1127 subtracts the fee from all or part of the proceeds and adds the amount after subtraction to the balance of the user's account. In addition, if the first transaction control module 1127 is set to convert at least a portion of the proceeds into crypto assets, it outputs the amount of at least a portion of the proceeds to the second transaction control module 1128.
[0082] The second transaction control module 1128 acquires at least a portion of the user's sales proceeds in electronic commerce. For example, the second transaction control module 1128 acquires monetary information of at least a portion of the sales proceeds set by default or by the user from the first transaction control module 1127. The second transaction control module 1128 may acquire sales proceeds information from the first transaction control module 1127, and calculate and acquire at least a portion of the sales proceeds based on the amount or ratio set by default or by the user.
[0083] The second transaction control module 1128 obtains the current value of a currency or property right having a fluctuating monetary value. For example, the second transaction control module 1128 obtains the current value of the crypto asset from a given crypto asset trading platform.
[0084] The second transaction control module 1128 converts at least a portion of the proceeds into currency or property rights based on the current value. For example, the second transaction control module 1128 purchases available crypto assets from a crypto asset trading platform based on at least a portion of the proceeds and the current value, and converts at least a portion of the proceeds into crypto assets.
[0085] The second transaction control module 1128 associates the converted currency or property right with the user. For example, the second transaction control module 1128 adds the converted crypto asset to the crypto asset in the user's account. As a result, the crypto asset held by user A increases by the amount of the converted crypto asset. It is recommended that the second transaction control module 1128 associates in advance the user ID in electronic commerce and the user ID in crypto asset trading of the same user.
[0086] The above process increases the variety of ways to receive sales proceeds in electronic commerce, and makes it possible to easily grant users currency or the like with variable value. For users, this allows them to easily invest at least a portion of the sales proceeds in electronic commerce, improving user satisfaction.
[0087] The second transaction control module 1128 may also convert the price into currency or property rights by applying any of the following current prices in electronic commerce: when a user puts up an item for sale, when another user wins the item, when the transaction for the item is completed, and when the proceeds of the item are received. For example, the second transaction control module 1128 obtains at least one of the following current price application timings: when the item is put up for sale, when the item is won, when the transaction is completed, and when the item is evaluated. The transaction completion timing may be, for example, when the purchaser notifies the purchaser of receipt of the item, when both the purchaser and the seller evaluate the item, and the like. If the desired timing is set by the user, the second transaction control module 1128 obtains the current price at the user's desired timing.
[0088] In addition, the second transaction control module 1128 may obtain the current price at least two or more times. In this case, the second transaction control module 1128 may purchase the crypto asset using the highest or lowest current price from the obtained multiple current prices, or the current price specified by the user. In consideration of the stability of crypto asset transactions, it is preferable to obtain the current price at the time of transaction completion.
[0089] Through the above process, when acquiring crypto assets, it is possible to select the current market value with the highest possible conversion rate and convert it into crypto assets that are advantageous to the user.
[0090] The first transaction control module 1127 may restrict cancellation or price change of a product when the current price at the time of listing is applied to the cryptocurrency acquisition. For example, the first transaction control module 1127 may prohibit cancellation of listing and prohibit price change of a listed product when the current price at the time of listing is obtained and applied to the conversion of cryptocurrency.
[0091] For example, the first transaction control module 1127 makes it possible to set the cancellation / cancellation item or price change / non-change item in the transaction management information, and if the application of the current market price at the time of listing is set, sets the cancellation / cancellation item or price change item to non-cancellation or non-change of price.
[0092] As a specific example, in response to a cancellation request from the seller (user) terminal 120, the first transaction control module 1127 determines whether cancellation is possible by referring to the cancellation option item, or determines whether cancellation is possible based on whether the current market price at the time of listing was set to be applied, and executes the cancellation process if cancellation is possible.
[0093] The above process makes it possible to ensure the stability of electronic commerce. For example, it is expected that an item will be cancelled if the current market price falls below the market price at the time of listing, or the price will be raised if the current market price rises above the market price at the time of listing. Allowing these actions could undermine the stability of electronic commerce. Therefore, by restricting the cancellation or price change of an item, the stability of electronic commerce can be ensured.
[0094] The first transaction control module 1127 may also execute a process of receiving from the user a designation of an amount or a ratio for at least a portion of the sales proceeds. For example, the first transaction control module 1127 may have the user designate how much of the sales proceeds to convert into crypto assets when a transaction completion screen for electronic commerce is displayed. Any method of designation may be used, and for example, the amount to be converted into crypto assets may be designated by using a slider bar ranging from 0 to the sales proceeds and moving the knob. The ratio or amount may also be designated by having the user input the ratio or amount into an input field.
[0095] Through the above process, users can freely set the amount to be converted into crypto assets based on sales revenue, etc., each time a transaction by listing is completed, thereby increasing the opportunities for casual investment experiences.
[0096] In addition, when the first transaction control module 1127 accepts the designation of the percentage or amount of the proceeds, the screen information for accepting the designation from the user may include information presented regarding the increase or decrease in the market value during a predetermined period in the past. For example, the first transaction control module 1127 may acquire market value information from the second transaction control module 1128 each time, calculate how much the current market value has increased or decreased compared to the market value from a predetermined period ago, and display the amount of increase or decrease in the cryptocurrency on the designated screen.
[0097] Through the above process, users can specify the ratio and amount to be converted into crypto assets while taking into consideration the increase or decrease in the current value of the crypto assets.
[0098] In addition, the second transaction control module 1128 may grant a reward to the user when at least a part of the sales proceeds is converted. This makes it possible to encourage the user to convert the proceeds into crypto assets.
[0099] For example, as a reward, the first transaction control module 1127 may discount the usage fee of the electronic commerce transaction, or the second transaction control module 1128 may increase the amount of currency or property rights to be converted. Also, as a reward, points that can be used for the electronic commerce transaction may be given.
[0100] Next, the cryptocurrency purchase process will be specifically described. For example, the second transaction control module 1128 determines the amount B of cryptocurrency to be granted to the user when the electronic commerce transaction is completed, using the following formula. B = At least a portion of the sales proceeds / applicable market value of cryptocurrency
[0101] The second transaction control module 1128 purchases and acquires the crypto asset in an amount of B upon completion of the transaction. For example, the first transaction control module 1127 adds the proceeds of the electronic commerce transaction (the amount of the sales minus a commission fee) to the balance of the seller's account. The first transaction control module 1127 adds at least a portion of the proceeds to the crypto asset account associated with the seller's user ID.
[0102] The cryptocurrency account may include an account for purchasing cryptocurrency and an account for the purchased cryptocurrency. The second transaction control module 1128 purchases the cryptocurrency using at least a portion of the proceeds added to the account for purchasing cryptocurrency. The purchased cryptocurrency is added to the balance of the cryptocurrency account.
[0103] When there is a difference between the current market value and the applied market value, the second transaction control module 1128 may have the business adjust the difference, purchase crypto assets worth the applied market value, and grant the crypto assets to the user. For example, when the current market value is more valuable than the applied market value, the second transaction control module 1128 may compensate for a portion of the crypto assets (at least a portion of the sales amount / (current value-applied market value)) from the crypto assets associated with the business's account and associate the crypto assets with the user's crypto assets. When the current market value is less valuable than the applied market value, the second transaction control module 1128 may add the crypto assets (at least a portion of the sales amount / (applied market value-current market value)) to the business's account.
[0104] The second transaction control module 1128 may also convert fractions of sales into crypto assets based on a preset setting, etc. For example, if the second transaction control module 1128 is set in advance to convert fractions of sales of 1,000 yen or less into crypto assets, for example, if the sales amount is 5,432 yen, 432 yen of sales will be converted into crypto assets. This makes it possible to easily and automatically make small investments with low risk.
[0105] Furthermore, when converting fractional amounts into crypto assets, the second transaction control module 1128 may add the fractional amounts to a fractional amount account, and convert the amount in the fractional amount account into crypto assets when the balance of the fractional amount account reaches or exceeds a predetermined amount. This reduces the number of transaction processes, making it possible to effectively utilize information processing resources and improve processing efficiency.
[0106] In addition, the second transaction control module 1128 may perform a conversion process based on a preset setting, rather than setting at least a portion of the sales proceeds to be converted into crypto assets each time a transaction is completed. For example, when receiving services on an electronic commerce platform, the items of user settings may include whether or not automatic conversion processing is possible, and the amount or ratio of the conversion. In this way, the second transaction control module 1128 can automatically perform a conversion process each time a transaction is completed, based on the whether or not automatic conversion processing is possible and the amount or ratio set by the user.
[0107] When the second transaction control module 1128 executes the conversion process based on a preset setting, the first transaction control module 1127 may grant a bonus to the preset user. For example, the bonus may include increasing the ratio of crypto assets acquired by a predetermined percentage, adding a predetermined amount of crypto assets, etc. This promotes investment using sales proceeds, and eliminates the need to determine the amount of crypto assets to be converted each time a transaction is completed, thereby improving processing efficiency.
[0108] Furthermore, the first transaction control module 1127 may not allow cancellation of the listing and / or may not allow changes to at least a portion of the amount of the sales proceeds converted into the cryptocurrency when the applicable price is before the completion of the electronic commerce transaction and the cryptocurrency is purchased before the completion of the transaction. This is because allowing cancellation, etc. may result in a process of selling the cryptocurrency that has already been acquired, or may lead to an increase in unnecessary cryptocurrency held by the business operator.
[0109] Furthermore, the first transaction control module 1127 may prioritize user convenience and permit cancellation of listing or change of at least a portion of the amount of the sales proceeds even if the crypto asset is purchased before the completion of the electronic commerce transaction. The crypto asset already acquired may be sold by the second transaction control module 1128 or held in the business's account. The second transaction control module 1128 may determine when the value of the crypto asset has increased from the market value at the time of acquisition, and sell the amount of the crypto asset that was cancelled when the value of the crypto asset has increased.
[0110] The one or more processors 111 described above read and execute each module as necessary from memory 112. For example, the one or more processors 111 may configure a settlement control unit, a first transaction control unit, and a second transaction control unit by executing settlement control module 1126, a first transaction control module 1127, and a second transaction control module 1128, respectively.
[0111] (2) Configuration of terminal 120 The terminal 120 includes a processor 121 , a memory 122 , a storage 123 , an input / output I / F 124 , an input device 125 , an output device 126 , a transmitting / receiving unit 127 , and a reading unit 128 .
[0112] The processes, functions, or methods executed by the processor 121 may be realized by machine learning, AI (Artificial Intelligence), or the like, to the extent feasible.
[0113] The input device 125 accepts various operations from the user of the terminal 120 .
[0114] The transmitting / receiving unit 127 transmits and receives data to and from the server 110, etc., in accordance with instructions from the processor 121. For example, when logging in to the server 110, the transmitting / receiving unit 127 connects a communication session with the server 110 using HTTPS or the like. Then, the transmitting / receiving unit 127 stores the communication address of the server 110, etc., in association with the ID of the connected communication session. Then, the transmitting / receiving unit 127 transmits data to the server 110 using the connected communication session.
[0115] The processor 121 performs processing to utilize a given service provided by the server 110 .
[0116] In one embodiment, the memory 122 stores the following programs 1221, a payment processing module 1222, a first transaction processing module 1223, a second transaction processing module 1224, a display control module 1225, and data structures, or a subset thereof. Note that information stored in the memory 122 may be stored in another storage device (e.g., storage 123).
[0117] As described above, the program 1221 is a program loaded from the storage 123, and includes instructions and the like related to each embodiment.
[0118] The payment processing module 1222 executes processing related to electronic payments. For example, the payment processing module 1222 executes store-scan type payments in which user information is coded and the code is read by a terminal in a store, or user-scan type payments in which a code including store information is read. The payment processing module 1222 may also execute processing for person-to-person remittances.
[0119] The first transaction processing module 1223 executes a process for buying and selling a product on the electronic commerce platform. For example, the first transaction processing module 1223 executes a process for putting a product up for sale or purchasing a product on the electronic commerce platform.
[0120] The second transaction processing module 1224 may execute a process for buying and selling crypto assets. For example, the second transaction processing module 1224 may send a request to the server 110 to buy or sell crypto assets.
[0121] The display control module 1225 controls screen data relating to electronic payment services, electronic commerce platforms, and crypto asset transactions to be displayed on the output device 126. For example, the display control module 1225 controls to display a screen for listing products, controls to display a screen for purchasing products, and controls to display a screen for buying and selling crypto assets.
[0122] The display control module 1225 may also control to output to the output device 126 a crypto asset setting screen for setting at least a portion of the sales proceeds to be converted into crypto assets from a setting menu screen or the like. The display control module 1225 may also control to incorporate the crypto asset setting screen into the screen transition at the time of completion of an electronic commerce transaction and display it on the output device 126. When at least a portion of the sales proceeds to be converted into crypto assets is set, crypto asset conversion amount information including at least a portion of the sales proceeds is output to the server 110 together with the user information.
[0123] When cancellation is possible, the first transaction processing module 1223 selects at least one piece of transaction information from the transaction history information displayed on the screen based on a user operation and issues a cancellation request. For example, the first transaction processing module 1223 accepts a user operation on the input device 125, and outputs to the server 110 a cancellation request for the transaction information on which the operation was performed among the transaction history information.
[0124] The one or more processors 121 described above read and execute each module as necessary from memory 122. For example, the one or more processors 121 may configure a payment processing unit, a first transaction processing unit, a second transaction processing unit, and a display control unit by executing payment processing module 1222, first transaction processing module 1223, second transaction processing module 1224, and display control module 1225, respectively.
[0125] <Operation process of the embodiment> The processing of the information processing system 1 according to the embodiment will be described with reference to Fig. 6. Fig. 6 shows an example of a flowchart of the processing of the information processing system 1 according to the embodiment. Note that the processing shown in Fig. 6 is an example of processing performed by the server 110 at the completion of an electronic commerce transaction in response to various requests from a user via the terminal 120, for example.
[0126] (Step S102) The second transaction control module 1128 obtains at least a portion of the proceeds of the user in the electronic commerce transaction. For example, the second transaction control module 1128 obtains at least a portion of the proceeds to be converted into crypto assets or the proceeds to be converted into crypto assets at the time of completion of the transaction from the first transaction control module 1127. When obtaining the proceeds, the second transaction control module 1128 obtains at least a portion of the proceeds to be converted into crypto assets based on a set ratio or amount.
[0127] (Step S104) The second transaction control module 1128 obtains the current value of a currency or property right having a fluctuating monetary value (e.g., the current value of a crypto asset) from a crypto asset trading platform (crypto asset exchange).
[0128] (Step S106) The second transaction control module 1128 converts at least a portion of the acquired sales proceeds into currency or property rights based on the acquired current value.
[0129] (Step S108) The second transaction control module 1128 associates the currency or property rights converted from at least a portion of the sales proceeds with the user. For example, the second transaction control module 1128 associates the currency or property rights with the user by crediting the converted virtual notes to the user's cryptocurrency account.
[0130] The above process increases the variety of ways in which sales proceeds can be received in electronic commerce, and makes it possible to easily grant currency or the like having a variable value to a user.
[0131] <Screen example> Next, examples of screens displayed on the user's terminal 120 will be described with reference to Figs. 7 to 9. Fig. 7 is a diagram showing an example of a screen transition when a transaction is completed, which is displayed on the screen of the terminal 120 according to the embodiment. In the example shown in Fig. 7, a screen D10 shows an example of a transaction completion screen in electronic commerce. The screen D10 displays that the amount of sales from this listing is 4,000 yen.
[0132] Screen D12 shows an example of a screen displayed after a predetermined time (e.g., several seconds) from screen D12. For example, display screen P12 shows an example of a screen that slides from the bottom and displays, and allows the user to set the amount of sales to be converted into crypto assets from the proceeds. Display screen P12 includes slider P14, and the user can use slider P12 to set at least a portion (1,000 yen) of the proceeds to be converted into crypto assets. The amount set by display screen P12 is transmitted to server 110 together with user information. Server 110 purchases crypto assets based on at least a portion of the acquired proceeds. The position of slider P14 is set to, for example, electronic money amount:crypto assets amount=5:5 by default. This makes it possible to inform the user that slider P14 can be moved.
[0133] Fig. 8 is a diagram showing an example of a crypto asset display screen displayed on the screen of the terminal 120 according to the embodiment. Screen D20 displays 1000 yen of crypto assets held by the user. Screen D20 displays information P20 indicating an increase or decrease in the value of the crypto assets held by the user based on the current market value. Information P20 shown in Fig. 8 includes an arrow indicating the increase or decrease in value and the amount of the increase or decrease. For example, information P20 indicates that the value of the crypto asset has decreased by a down arrow, for example, indicating that it has decreased by 20 yen from yesterday.
[0134] Fig. 9 is a diagram showing an example of a user screen displayed on the screen of the terminal 120 according to the embodiment. Screen D30 displays 1,000 yen of crypto assets together with the balance held by the user. Similar to the screen shown in Fig. 8, screen D30 displays information P20 indicating the increase or decrease in value of the crypto assets held by the user based on the current price.
[0135] The disclosed technology is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be implemented in various other forms without departing from the spirit of the disclosed technology. For example, the order of the above-described processing steps can be arbitrarily changed or the steps can be executed in parallel as long as no contradiction occurs in the processing content.
[0136] <Modification> The above embodiment describes a technology for converting at least a portion of sales proceeds in electronic commerce into currency or property rights having a fluctuating monetary value, but the technology is applicable when a user receives monetary value (e.g., electronic money, points, etc.). For example, when such monetary value is acquired, such as when electronic money is received in a payment service such as person-to-person remittance, when electronic money is received as part of a salary, when points are received in a payment service or electronic commerce, a conversion process may be performed on at least a portion of the monetary value. For example, the second transaction control module 1128 may execute the conversion process when electronic money or points are acquired from the payment control module 1126, or when electronic money is acquired as a digital salary.
[0137] <Other> In the above embodiment, an embodiment in which at least a portion of the sales proceeds is granted to the user as crypto assets has been described, but at least a portion of the present disclosure can also be applied to a payment function using crypto assets granted to the user. This allows the user to flexibly use the currency or property rights with fluctuating monetary value held by the user for payment, and investment and consumption can be more closely linked. In addition, the currency or property rights with fluctuating monetary value granted simply by the present system can be easily used for payment, improving user convenience.
[0138] The payment function may be a payment function available in an electronic commerce service, a payment service, a cryptocurrency trading service, or the like provided by or linked to the server 110. For example, when a user requests a payment process using the terminal 120, the server 110 may sell cryptocurrency equivalent to the payment amount, convert it into legal tender or points, add the converted legal tender or points to the user's balance, and subtract the converted legal tender or points from the user's balance, thereby proceeding with the payment process. The payment method and payment process may use known technology.
[0139] Specifically, when a user makes a payment request using the terminal 120, the payment control module 1122 transmits the payment request to the server 110. The transmitting / receiving unit 117 of the server 110 acquires the payment request transmitted from the terminal 120 and identifies the payment amount.
[0140] The second transaction control module 1128 obtains the current value of a currency or property right having a fluctuating monetary value, such as a crypto asset. For example, the second transaction control module 1128 may obtain the current value of the crypto asset from a predetermined crypto asset trading platform. The current value may include the current value at the time when the terminal 120 makes a settlement request, the current value at the time when the server 110 accepts the settlement request, the current value at the time when the user decides to change the crypto asset, and the like.
[0141] The second transaction control module 1128 converts the crypto asset into legal tender, points, etc. based on the obtained current value.
[0142] The second transaction control module 1128 associates the converted legal tender, points, etc., with the user. For example, the second transaction control module 1128 adds the converted legal tender, points, etc., to the balance of the user's account.
[0143] In addition, when multiple balances are associated with a user, funds may be transferred between the balances as appropriate. For example, when a user makes a payment request, the crypto assets held by the user in the crypto asset trading service account may be converted to fiat currency based on the payment amount included in the payment request, and the fiat currency may be added to and then subtracted from the balance of the crypto asset trading service account, and the fiat currency may be added to the balance used by the user for the payment service. The payment amount may then be subtracted from the balance used by the user for the payment service to proceed with the payment process. A predetermined conversion fee may be added to the user's payment. For example, a predetermined crypto asset selling fee may be added to the above-mentioned current value.
[0144] As described above, the currency or property right having a fluctuating monetary value includes, in addition to crypto assets, securities including capital securities such as stocks, bonds, and investment trusts, FX (foreign exchange margin trading), CFDs (contract for difference), and gold. In this case, the second transaction control module 1128 may purchase the currency or property right set by the user, etc., from a corresponding online exchange.
