Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a food cutter. [Background technology]
[0002] The present applicant has proposed a food cutter disclosed in Patent Document 1 as a tool for cutting food such as vegetables and fruits.
[0003] This food cutting tool has a resin main body provided with a food sliding surface along which food slides, an opening is provided on this food sliding surface that traverses the food sliding surface in the left-right width direction, and three horizontally long blade plates having blade portions are mounted at intervals between the left and right open ends of this opening.
[0004] When cutting food using this food cutting tool, the food is held and pressed by a separately prepared food holding tool that holds and presses the food, and in this state the food is slid against the food sliding surface (blade portion) to cut it. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0005] [Patent Document 1] Utility Model Registration No. 3220602 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0006] Incidentally, when manufacturing this food cutting tool, a metal horizontal blade plate is insert molded when molding the resin main body as described above. Although this insert molding is advantageous in terms of cost, it has the problem that it is difficult to enlarge the tool larger than it is currently.
[0007] That is, as shown in Fig. 8, in order to increase the size of this food cutting tool, in order to enlarge the main body 51 on which the food sliding surface is provided, a horizontally long blade plate 54 of a corresponding length is required, but if the material (material quality, thickness, etc.) of the horizontally long blade plate 54 is left unchanged in consideration of manufacturing costs, and the horizontally long blade plate 54 is lengthened to correspond to the width of the food sliding surface (opening 53), it may be unable to maintain a straight state against the shrinkage (force from the left and right directions) of the main body 51 that occurs after insert molding and may warp (see Fig. 8(b)). It is possible to deal with the shrinkage of the resin caused by insert molding by providing a part (so-called relief) that absorbs this shrinkage in the part that supports the horizontally long blade plate 54 through design, but this makes the structure complicated, and moreover, if the design is not followed, the shrinkage cannot be fully absorbed, and the horizontally long blade plate 54 may end up warping.
[0008] Therefore, as mentioned above, food cutting tools are limited in size, and for example, when sliding cut a relatively large cabbage, the current situation is that the cabbage is first cut into 1 / 4 of its size and then slide cut.
[0009] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and provides a novel and revolutionary method for manufacturing a food cutting tool. [Means for solving the problem]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0022] A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be briefly described below with reference to the drawings to illustrate the operation of the present invention.
[0023] In the present invention, when the horizontally long blade plate 4 is installed in the opening 3 of the main body 1, for example, the left and right ends of the horizontally long blade plate 4 are supported by the blade plate end supports 6 provided on the left and right opening ends of the opening 3 or the surrounding areas thereof, the horizontally long blade plate 4 is then installed in an installed state, a resin fixing member 7 is then laminated on the horizontally long blade plate 4 to clamp the ends of the horizontally long blade plate 4 between the fixing member 7 and the blade plate end supports 6, and the blade plate end supports 6 and the fixing member 7 are then welded to each other.
[0024] Unlike the insert molding described above, a fixing means is adopted that does not cause the horizontal blade plate 4 to warp. Therefore, even if the width of the opening 3 is made large and the horizontal blade plate 4 installed in the opening 3 is a long horizontal blade plate 4, the horizontal blade plate 4 will not warp after being fixed, and therefore it is possible to make the food cutting tool larger. EXAMPLES
[0025] A specific embodiment of the present invention will now be described with reference to the drawings.
[0026] The present embodiment is a method for manufacturing a food cutting tool S for cutting food F such as vegetables and fruits.
[0027] First, the food cutter S manufactured according to this embodiment will be described.
[0028] 1, this food cutting tool S has a synthetic resin main body 1 (plate-shaped main body) with a handle 1a at its rear end, on whose surface a food sliding surface 2 of a generally rectangular shape in plan view is provided along which food F slides, and an opening 3 (a section through which cut food CF passes) is provided in the approximate center of this food sliding surface 2, crossing the food sliding surface 2 in the left-right width direction, and a metal horizontally elongated blade plate 4 having a blade portion 4a is disposed between the left and right open ends of this opening 3. Reference numeral 1b denotes a locking recess that locks onto the opening edge of a container 20 (bowl) that receives the cut food CF.
[0029] The food sliding surface 2 of this main body 1 is composed of a rear region 2A and a front region 2B with an opening 3 therebetween, and is arranged so that the front region 2B is higher than the rear region 2A by this step difference in correspondence with the three horizontally elongated blade plates 4 described later being arranged in a stepped manner.
[0030] Furthermore, the opening 3 of the main body 1 is arranged at an incline (like a parallelogram) with respect to the longitudinal direction of the food sliding surface 2 when viewed from a planar direction. For this reason, the left and right blade plate end support portions 6 (described later) provided at the left and right opening ends of this opening 3 are arranged in a positional relationship shifted forward and backward. As a result, the horizontally elongated blade plate 4 supported by the left and right blade plate end support portions 6 is arranged at an incline with respect to the longitudinal direction of the food sliding surface 2.
[0031] In addition, in this specification, the terms "front, back, left and right" refer to the front in the traveling direction in which the food material F slides when cutting the food material F, and are defined based on this.
[0032] In addition, left and right side wall portions 1c are provided on both the left and right sides of the food sliding surface 2 on the surface portion of the main body portion 1, and the left and right ends of a separately provided food holding device H are placed on these left and right side wall portions 1c, and further, protrusion portions 30 vertically attached to the left and right ends of this food holding device H are configured to be attached to the outer surfaces of each of the left and right side wall portions 1c.
[0033] Therefore, when the food holding tool H is placed on top of the food cutting tool S (main body portion 1) and the gripping portion 31 is grasped and moved in the forward / backward direction, the left and right protrusion portions 30 slide along the outer surfaces of the left and right side wall portions 1c of the main body portion 1 as guide surfaces, allowing the food holding tool H to slide back and forth in the longitudinal direction of the main body portion 1.
[0034] In this embodiment, as a structure for providing the horizontally long blade plate 4 on the above-mentioned main body 1, blade plate end supports 6 for supporting the ends of the horizontally long blade plate 4 are provided on the left and right opening ends of the opening 3 of the main body 1 or in the vicinity thereof.
[0035] 2 to 4, the blade plate end support portions 6 are provided at the left and right opening ends (band-shaped regions having a length in the front-rear direction of the main body 1) on the back surface of the opening 3 of the main body 1, and three blade plate fitting recesses 6' into which the ends of the horizontally long blade plates 4 can be fitted are arranged side by side at intervals in the front-rear direction, and the blade plate fitting recesses 6' are arranged in a descending staircase shape such that the height of the recesses decreases toward the front when viewed from the back surface of the main body 1. Note that the blade plate end support portions 6 may be provided at the left and right opening ends on the front surface of the opening 3, but are desirably provided at the left and right opening ends on the back surface of the opening 3 in terms of structure and appearance.
[0036] Therefore, when the three horizontal blade plates 4 are installed between the left and right opening ends (blade plate end support portions 6) of the opening 3, the three horizontal blade plates 4 form an ascending staircase shape with a gap between them in the front-to-rear direction when viewed from the front side of the main body 1, with the height increasing towards the front. Therefore, when cutting food material F, when the food material F is slid from the rear end side, where the handle portion 1a of the food cutting tool S (main body 1) is provided, to the front end side against the food material sliding surface 2, it is cut by each horizontal blade plate 4, and the cut food material CF that passes between the horizontal blade plates 4 falls to the back side of the main body 1 (food material sliding surface 2).
[0037] Further, each of the left and right blade plate end support portions 6 is provided with a blade plate positioning portion 6a for positioning the end portion of the horizontally long blade plate 4.
[0038] 3 and 4, the blade plate positioning portions 6a are configured by providing convex portions 6a in a protruding state in each of the blade plate fitting recesses 6' described above, and are configured to be positioned by being fitted (concave-convex engagement) into through holes 4b (concave portions) provided at left and right ends of the horizontally long blade plate 4, which will be described later. Note that a positioning structure may also be used in which convex portions are provided at the ends of the horizontally long blade plate 4, and concave portions for concave-convex engagement with the convex portions are provided in each of the blade plate fitting recesses 6'.
[0039] Therefore, when the horizontally long blade plate 4 is fixed by using the fixing member 7 described later, this positioning structure provides a temporary fixing state, so that the subsequent fixing operation (welding operation) can be performed smoothly.
[0040] In this embodiment, the surface of the front opening end (the front region 2B of the food sliding surface 2) of the opening 3 in the main body 1 is approximately flush with the surface of the forwardmost horizontal blade plate 4 described later, and further, the edge of the front opening end of this opening 3 is formed in a straight line shape that matches the straight line shape of the front long side portion of the horizontal blade plate 4.
[0041] In this embodiment, a blade plate support recess 8 is provided on the rear surface of the front opening end of the opening 3 of the main body 1.
[0042] As shown in FIG. 4, the blade plate support recess 8 is configured by providing a concave portion at the center of the back surface of the front opening end of the opening 3 of the main body 1, and the convex portion 4c provided on the front long side portion of the horizontally elongated blade plate 4 located at the foremost position can be placed on the concave-convex portion and engaged with the concave-convex portion.
[0043] Therefore, the convex portion 4c of the horizontally long blade plate 4 is placed on the blade plate support recess 8 to engage with the concave portion. In this state, the long side fixing portion 7'' of the fixing member 7, which will be described later, is overlapped, whereby the convex portion 4c can be clamped, and the upward movement of the horizontally long blade plate 4 is restricted even if it receives an impact or the like when cutting the food material F.
[0044] In this embodiment, the inner bottom surface of the blade plate support recess 8 is formed into an inclined surface, and the support surface of the convex portion 4c to be placed on this inner bottom surface is also formed into an inclined surface whose shape matches that of the inner bottom surface.
[0045] Therefore, as described above, the surface of the front opening end (front region 2B of the food sliding surface 2) of the opening 3 of the main body 1 and the surface of the horizontally elongated blade plate 4 located at the frontmost side can be made approximately flush with each other.
[0046] In addition, the edge of the rear opening end (rear region 2A of the food sliding surface 2) of the opening 3 in the main body 1 is wavy to match the shape of the wavy blade portion 4a (described later) provided on the rear long side of the rearmost horizontal blade plate 4, and further, the surface of the rear opening end (rear region 2A of the food sliding surface 2) of the opening 3 and the surface of the rearmost horizontal blade plate 4 are arranged to be approximately flush with each other.
[0047] As shown in Figs. 2 to 5, the fixing member 7 is a U-shaped thin plate made of an appropriate synthetic resin member and is composed of a pair of left and right short side fixing parts 7' which overlap with the left and right opening ends (the left and right blade plate end support parts 6, respectively) of the opening 3 associated with the main body 1, and a long side fixing part 7" which is disposed between the short side fixing parts 7' and overlaps with the front opening end of the opening 3. Note that the pair of left and right short side fixing parts 7' and long side fixing part 7" may be separate independent structures.
[0048] The left and right short-side fixing portions 7' have the same structure and are symmetrical to each other. Three bearing surface portions 7a having different heights are provided in a stepped manner on their inner surfaces at positions corresponding to the three blade plate fitting recesses 6' provided in the blade plate end support portion 6. Each bearing surface portion 7a is provided with a recessed portion 7a' which fits into an upper end portion of the blade plate positioning portion 6a (protruding portion 6a) and a blade portion support portion 7a" which abuts against the blade portion 4a of the horizontally elongated blade plate 4. Furthermore, three protruding portions 7b are provided on the outer surface of each of the recessed portions 7a' at positions facing each other.
[0049] Therefore, when the left and right short side fixing portions 7' are overlapped with the left and right blade plate end support portions 6 on which the horizontally long blade plate 4 is arranged, the left and right short side fixing portions 7' (concave portions 7a') are positioned by the blade plate positioning portions 6a (convex portions 6a). The welding vibration portion 40 of the ultrasonic welding machine is brought into contact with the convex portions 7b provided on the left and right short side fixing portions 7' to perform ultrasonic welding, so that the fixing member 7 (short side fixing portions 7') is welded to the blade plate end support portions 6.
[0050] The long-side fixing portion 7" has, in a front region of its inner surface, a stepped-shaped overlapping portion 7c overlapping with an upper surface of the front opening end portion of the opening 3 of the main body 1. Furthermore, a blade plate abutting portion 7d is provided in a protruding state at the center position of the overlapping portion 7c. The blade plate abutting portion 7d abuts against an upper surface of the convex portion 4c of the horizontally oblong blade plate 4 disposed in the blade plate support recess 8.
[0051] Therefore, when the overlapping portion 7c of the long side fixing portion 7" is overlapped with the upper surface of the front opening end of the opening 3 related to the main body 1, the blade plate abutting portion 7d abuts and supports the upper surface of the convex portion 4c of the horizontal blade plate 4. In this state, the welding vibration portion 40 of the ultrasonic welding machine is brought into contact with the long side fixing portion 7" (overlapping portion 7c) to perform ultrasonic welding, whereby the fixing member 7 (long side fixing portion 7") is welded to the front opening end of the opening 3 related to the main body 1.
[0052] The horizontally long blade plate 4 is a plate-like body having a predetermined length made of an appropriate metal member (stainless steel) as shown in Figures 1 to 4, and a blade portion 4a is formed on one (the rear) of the front and rear long sides.
[0053] This blade portion 4a is formed in a wavy shape when viewed from a planar direction, with arc-shaped convex edges and arc-shaped concave edges alternating and continuing, and the horizontally elongated blade plate 4 having this blade portion 4a is mounted across the opening 3 of the main body 1 and is arranged in an inclined state with respect to the longitudinal direction of the food sliding surface 2.
[0054] Therefore, if multiple horizontally long blade plates 4 are used, a greater resistance will be generated when cutting the food material F. However, in this embodiment, the horizontally long blade plates 4 having the above-mentioned wavy blade portions 4a are inclined relative to the longitudinal direction of the food material sliding surface 2. When food material F is slid across the food material sliding surface 2, the food material F first comes into contact with the left inclined part of the arcuate convex edge in plan view, and then comes into contact with the right inclined part in plan view, causing the angle of the food material F to change as it slides past, making it possible to perform smooth cutting with a sharp edge.
[0055] Further, at both left and right ends of the horizontally long blade plate 4, there are provided through holes 4a into which the blade plate positioning portions 6a (protrusions 6a) of the blade plate end support portions 6 described above are fitted.
[0056] In this embodiment, of the three horizontally long blade plates 4 arranged in the front and rear, the two horizontally long blade plates 4 located on the rear and center have the other (front) long side portions formed in a wavy shape, while the one horizontally long blade plate 4 located at the front side has the other (front) long side portion formed in a straight line and is provided at its central portion with a protruding portion 4c that protrudes and engages with a blade plate support recess 8 provided on the back surface of the front opening end of the opening 3 of the main body 1.
[0057] A method for attaching the horizontally long blade plate 4 to the main body 1 of the food cutting tool S configured as above (a method for manufacturing the food cutting tool S according to this embodiment) will now be described.
[0058] First, the horizontally long blade plate 4 is placed in an erected state with its left and right ends supported by the blade plate end support portions 6 (see FIGS. 6(a) and 6(b)). At this time, the through holes 4a provided at the left and right ends of the horizontally long blade plate 4 are fitted into the blade plate positioning portions 6a (protruding portions 6a) for positioning. Furthermore, the protruding portion 4c of the horizontally long blade plate 4 located at the front side is engaged with the blade plate support recessed portion 8 provided on the rear surface of the front opening end of the opening 3.
[0059] Next, the fixing member 7 is placed on the horizontal blade plate 4, and the horizontal blade plate 4 is sandwiched between the fixing member 7 and the blade plate end support parts 6 (see FIG. 6(c)). At this time, the left and right short-side fixing parts 7' constituting the fixing member 7 are positioned in the left and right blade plate end support parts 6 on which the ends of the horizontal blade plate 4 are placed, respectively, to sandwich the ends of the horizontal blade plate 4, and the long-side fixing part 7" is placed on an upper surface of the front opening end of the opening 3 of the main body 1, and further, the blade plate abutment part 7d provided on the long-side fixing part 7" is placed on an upper surface of the convex part 4c of the horizontal blade plate 4 placed in the blade plate support recess 8. Note that the horizontal blade plate 4 and the fixing member 7 may be placed on top of each other in advance, and then the horizontal blade plate 4 and the fixing member 7 in the overlapped state may be placed on the blade plate end support parts 6.
[0060] Next, the fixing member 7 is welded to the blade plate end support portion 6 and the front opening end of the opening 3 (see FIGS. 6(c) and 6(d)).
[0061] Specifically, ultrasonic welding is performed by applying the welding vibration part 40 of the ultrasonic welding machine to the convex parts 7b provided on each of the left and right short side fixing parts 7', whereby the fixing member 7 (short side fixing part 7') is welded to the blade plate end support part 6. At the same time, in the short side fixing part 7', a portion adjacent to each blade support part 7a" is welded to a contacted portion of the blade plate end support part 6 with which the corresponding portion is in contact, and further the long side fixing part 7" is welded to the front opening end of the opening 3 of the main body 1.
[0062] In this embodiment, as described above, the respective portions to be welded, that is, the blade plate end support portion 6, the front opening end of the opening portion 3, and the fixed member 7, are welded simultaneously. However, it is also possible to weld each portion individually. In this case, the convex portion 7b serves as a target for contacting the welded vibration portion 40 as the portion to be welded.
[0063] The welding method for connecting the blade plate end support portion 6 to the fixing member 7 is not limited to ultrasonic welding, but any suitable welding method such as laser welding or hot plate welding may be used as long as it exhibits the characteristics of this embodiment.
[0064] When using the food cutting tool S manufactured as described above to process food F (half-cut cabbage), the food holding tool H is gripped by the gripping portion 31 to fix and support the food F, and in this state the food F is cut by sliding it against the food sliding surface 2 (blade portion 4) (see Figure 7), and the cut food CF falls into the container 20.
[0065] Since this embodiment is configured as described above, unlike the conventional insert molding, a fixing means is adopted that does not cause the horizontal blade plate 4 to warp. Therefore, even if the width of the opening 3 is large and the horizontal blade plate 4 installed in the opening 3 is a long horizontal blade plate 4, the horizontal blade plate 4 will not warp after being fixed. As a result, it is possible to make the food cutting tool S larger (for example, a size corresponding to a cabbage cut in half).
[0066] In addition, in this embodiment, the blade plate end support portion 6 is provided with the blade plate positioning portion 6a for positioning the end portion of the horizontally long blade plate 4, so that the fixing member 7 can be smoothly welded to the blade plate end support portion 6.
[0067] In this embodiment, the blade plate positioning portion 6a is configured by providing the protrusion 6a, and the through hole 4b provided at the end of the horizontally long blade plate 4 is fitted into this protrusion 6a to perform positioning. This makes it possible to more satisfactorily weld the fixing member 7 to the blade plate end support portion 6.
[0068] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the blade plate end support portion 6 is provided on the left and right opening ends or the surrounding areas on the back surface of the opening 3, so that no protrusions are formed on the front surface side of the main body 1 to serve as supports for the cutting process of the food material F, and furthermore, there is no unsightly appearance.
[0069] In this embodiment, a blade plate support recess 8 is provided at the front opening end of the opening 3, on which the convex portion 4c provided on the long side of the horizontally long blade plate 4 is placed and engaged, and the fixing member 7 is provided with a long side fixing portion 7" for holding the convex portion 4c of the horizontally long blade plate 4 between the fixing member 7 and the blade plate support recess 8. The front opening end of the opening 3 and the long side fixing portion 7" are welded to each other, so that the horizontally long blade plate 4 is fixed in a good state and the fixing member 7 can be firmly fixed to the main body 1.
[0070] In addition, in this embodiment, the blade plate support portion 6 and the fixed member 7 are ultrasonically welded together, so that good welding can be achieved with a good finish.
[0071] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the front opening edge of the opening 3 and the long side fixing portion 7'' are ultrasonically welded together, so that good welding can be achieved with a good finish.
[0072] Incidentally, the present invention is not limited to the present embodiment, and the specific configuration of each component can be designed as appropriate. [Explanation of symbols]
