Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a pre-treatment device for a harvester that harvests crops such as corn in a field, and more specifically, to a pre-treatment device for a harvester that enables a large folding angle when folding a divider for separating and collecting crops such as corn. [Background technology]
[0002] The corn grown in the field is harvested by a pre-treatment device of the harvester, and ear corns are extracted from the harvested corn.
[0003] A typical structure of such a pre-treatment device that is attached to the front of a harvester (Patent Document 1) will be described with reference to Figs. 11 and 12.
[0004] In Fig. 11 and Fig. 12, reference numeral 101 denotes a divider that can take in corn along the rows. Reference numeral 102 denotes a harvesting section that includes a pick-up roller 103 for picking downward the corn stalks and leaves collected by the divider 101, a cutter 104 for shredding the corn picked up by the pick-up roller 103, a separator 105 for separating ear cones from the corn picked up downward by the pick-up roller 103, and a conveying chain 106 for conveying the ear cones separated by the separator 105 toward the rear of the machine body. Reference numeral 107 denotes a scattering prevention plate that is provided upright on the side of the machine body to prevent the ear cones from scattering to the side of the machine body.
[0005] When using such a harvester, the harvester is loaded onto a truck and transported to the field, where it is then unloaded and driven across the field. However, since it is necessary to shorten the fore-to-aft length of the harvester when transporting it by truck or when turning near a corner while driving across the field, the dividers are made foldable.
[0006] However, when the dividers are made foldable in this way, the folding angle of the dividers on the left and right sides is small because they are folded onto the left and right shatterproof plates. This increases the risk that the dividers will return to their original state from the folded state during transportation, so it was necessary to provide a locking mechanism or the like. On the other hand, if the height of the shatterproof plates is lowered, the folding angle can be increased, but then the problem of the ear cones scattering to the side occurs.
[0007] To solve this problem, Patent Document 2 below proposes a structure in which the height of the shatterproof plate can be adjusted and the divider can be folded.
[0008] Specifically, Patent Document 2 discloses a structure in which the front end of the shatterproof plate is rotatably attached to the side cover, and the shatterproof plate is stored in the side cover through a slit provided in the upper surface of the side cover. With this configuration, when folding the left and right dividers, the shatterproof plate can be lowered into the side cover and folded into the place where the shatterproof plate was located, so that the folding angle of the shatterproof plate can be increased. [0009] [Patent Document 1] Patent Publication No. 2021-6003 [Patent Document 2] Patent Publication No. 2021-6002 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0010] However, when sliding the anti-scattering plate downward in this manner, a slit or space must be formed in order to accommodate the anti-scattering plate at a position away from the conveyor chains, which increases the width of the vehicle.
[0011] Furthermore, when the shatterproof plate is stored in the slit in this manner, if the shatterproof plate or the side cover hits a foreign object, the shatterproof plate will be deformed and will no longer be able to be stored.
[0012] Furthermore, when installing the shatterproof plate in this manner, the relatively heavy shatterproof plate must be picked up and fixed by hand, which causes the problem that the installation work of the shatterproof plate takes time.
[0013] Therefore, the present invention has been made with the above-mentioned problems in mind, and aims to provide a pre-processing device for a harvester that can reduce the vehicle width and allows the divider to be easily folded by increasing the folding angle even if the anti-scattering plate or side cover is deformed. [Means for solving the problem]
[0014] In other words, in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a pre-processing device for a harvester which comprises a plurality of dividers protruding forward from the body and with their tip portions foldable from above to the rear, a harvesting section which is provided between left and right side covers and harvests crops taken in between the dividers, and an anti-scattering plate which is provided on the left and right side covers and prevents the crops harvested by the harvesting section from scattering, and which is provided with a tilting section which tilts the anti-scattering plate sideways from the side covers, so that the tip portions of the dividers can be folded into the space above the side covers formed by tilting with the tilting section.
[0015] With this configuration, the vehicle width can be reduced, and the folding angle of the shatterproof plate can be increased to fold the divider to the side. Even if the shatterproof plate or the side cover is deformed, the shatterproof plate can be tilted to the side, so the divider can be folded reliably.
[0016] In the invention, the shatterproof plate is configured to have a bottom surface portion that comes into surface contact with the upper surface portion of the side cover.
[0017] With this configuration, the bottom surface of the shatterproof plate and the top surface of the side cover are in surface contact with each other, so that the shatterproof plate can be stood up in a stable state.
[0018] Furthermore, the tilting portion is provided so as to tilt the scattering prevention plate around the outer side from the center of the upper surface portion of the side cover.
[0019] With this configuration, when the shatterproof plate is tilted, the shatterproof plate can be aligned with the side surface of the side cover, making it possible to reduce the width of the vehicle even when tilted.
[0020] Furthermore, a fixing portion for fixing the anti-scattering plate in a tilted state can be provided.
[0021] With this configuration, the anti-scattering plate will not swing when traveling with the divider folded, and it is possible to prevent the anti-scattering plate from hitting foreign objects. Effect of the Invention
[0022] According to the present invention, in a pre-treatment device for a harvester, the pre-treatment device includes a plurality of dividers that protrude forward from the vehicle body and are foldable from above toward the rear, a harvesting section that is provided between the left and right side covers and harvests the crops taken in between the dividers, and a scattering prevention plate that is provided on the left and right side covers and prevents the scattering of the crops harvested by the harvesting section, a tilting section that tilts the scattering prevention plate to the side from the side cover, and the tip portions of the dividers can be folded into the space above the side cover formed by tilting the tilting section, so that the vehicle width can be reduced and the folding angle of the scattering prevention plate can be increased to fold the dividers to the side. Also, even if the scattering prevention plate or the side cover are deformed, the scattering prevention plate can be tilted to the side, so that the dividers can be folded reliably. [0024] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0025] As shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the pre-treatment device 1 of the harvester in this embodiment is configured with a plurality of dividers 2 that are provided to protrude forward from the machine body 10 and are provided so that their tip portions can be folded from above toward the rear, a harvesting section 11 that is provided between the left and right side covers 12 and harvests the crops taken in by the dividers 2, and a scattering prevention plate 8 (Fig. 2) that is provided standing from the left and right side covers 12 and prevents the scattering of the crops harvested by the harvesting section 11. Characteristically, as shown in Fig. 5 to Fig. 7, a tilting section 81 is provided for tilting the scattering prevention plate 8 to the side of the side cover 12, and the tip portions of the dividers 2 can be folded above the side cover 12 formed by tilting with the tilting section 81 (Fig. 10), thereby making it possible to increase the folding angle. Hereinafter, this embodiment will be described in detail.
[0026] In the following description, corn is used as an example of a crop to be harvested, and the corn is composed of "stalks and leaves" and "ear cones." In the following description of the device, the traveling direction of the machine body 10 is described as the X-axis direction, the up-down direction as the Z-axis direction, and both sides of the machine body 10 in the Y-axis direction are described as the "sides" or "outsides."
[0027] First, the divider 2 provided in front of the machine body 10 has a pointed front side as shown in Fig. 2, so that corn in the field can be separated and collected into left and right parts by traveling the machine body 10. Of these, the left and right dividers 2 are provided in front of the side covers 12, while the divider 2 in the center portion is provided in front of the center cover 13.
[0028] On the other hand, the left and right side covers 12 are provided on both the left and right sides of the machine body 10 so as to cover the conveyor chain 6 and the like. As shown in Figures 2 and 5, the side covers 12 are configured to have an upper surface portion 12a and a side surface portion 12b, and a folding portion 21 (see Figures 8 to 10) for folding the left and right dividers 2 is provided in front of the upper surface portion 12a.
[0029] As shown in Figures 9 and 10, the folding portion 21 is configured to have a lower piece 22 provided on the front surface of the side cover 12 and an upper piece 23 provided above the rear end surface of the divider 2, and is configured to rotatably connect the lower piece 22 and the upper piece 23 with a pin 24. The tip side of the divider 2 is lifted upward around the pin 24, so that the divider 2 can be folded backward as shown in Figure 10. At this time, the tip side of the folded divider 2 abuts against the upper surface 14a of the main cover provided behind the side cover 12 (lower view of Figure 10), and a gap space is formed between the divider 2 and the upper surface portion 12a of the side cover 12.
[0030] On the other hand, the scattering prevention plate 8 is provided to stand up from the upper surface portion 12a of the side cover 12, and is configured to prevent the ear cones harvested in the harvesting section 11 from scattering sideways.
[0031] As shown in Figure 5, the shatterproof plate 8 is configured with a bottom surface portion 80a that is in face contact with the upper surface portion 12a of the side cover 12, an upright surface 80b that is bent from the bottom surface portion 80a, and a rib 80c that is L-shaped and extends in the vertical direction on the outer surface of the upright surface 80b.
[0032] This tilting portion 81 is configured by inserting a pin 83 between upright pieces 82, 92 provided on the upper surface portion 12a of the side cover 12 and a hole (not shown) in a rib 80c provided on the shatterproof plate 8, and is designed to tilt the shatterproof plate 8 to the side about the pin 83 located at the outer position of the side cover 12. In the tilted state, the shatterproof plate 8 is designed to fit along the side surface portion 12b of the side cover 12, as shown in the lower diagram of FIG.
[0033] The shatterproof plate 8 is fixed in an upright state by a fixing portion 9. As shown in Fig. 5, the fixing portion 9 is configured by inserting a shaft 91 between two ribs 80c of the shatterproof plate 8 and a hole (not shown) in a standing piece 92 provided at the rear of the upper surface portion 12a of the side cover 12, and the shatterproof plate 8 can be tilted by pulling the end of the shaft 91 out of the standing piece 92 against the force of a spring 84. On the other hand, when fixing the shatterproof plate 8 in an upright state, the shaft 91 is inserted into the hole in the standing piece 92 by the force of the spring 84 while the shatterproof plate 8 is in an upright state, so that the shatterproof plate 8 is maintained in an upright state.
[0034] Furthermore, if the vehicle 10 is driven with the shatterproof plate 8 tilted in this manner, the shatterproof plate 8 may swing left and right and may hit a foreign object and become deformed. Therefore, here, the fixing portion 9 is configured to fix the shatterproof plate 8 in a tilted state. When configuring this fixing portion 9, as shown in FIG. 5, a regulating plate 90 is provided between the rib 80c and the standing piece 92, and when the shaft 91 is pulled out to tilt the shatterproof plate 8, the end of the shaft 91 is abutted against the side edge 90a of the regulating plate 90 so that the shatterproof plate 8 does not return to its original position.
[0035] Next, the configuration of the harvesting unit 11 will be described with reference to Figs.
[0036] The harvesting section 11 is equipped with a cutter 3 for chopping the corn, a pick-up roller 4 for scraping the corn towards the cutter 3, a separator 5 for separating the ear cones from the corn stems and leaves scraped downward by the pick-up roller 4, and a conveying chain 6 for transporting the ear cones separated by the separator 5 towards the rear of the machine body 10.
[0037] Of these, the cutter 3 is provided on the bottom side of the machine body 10 as shown in Fig. 3, and is configured to cut the corn separated and collected by the divider 2 at the base of the plant, and to shred the corn stalks and leaves raked downward by the raking roller 4 described below. This cutter 3 is configured by attaching multiple blades 32 to the outer periphery of a rotating plate 31 that rotates around the Z axis, and by rotating the blades 32 at high speed, the corn stalks and leaves are shredded so that the shredded pieces can be returned to the field.
[0038] The take-in roller 4, provided above the cutter 3, is adapted to pull downward the corn stalks collected by the divider 2, and is configured so that, when rotated about the X-axis direction, the corn stalks are bent and taken in downward by a plurality of blades 41 provided on the outer circumferential surface, as shown in Figures 3 and 4. A screw section 42 (see Figure 3) is provided in front of the take-in roller 4 so as to take in the corn toward the rear of the machine body 10, and the corn stalks can also be transported toward the rear of the machine body 10 by this screw section 42.
[0039] In addition, a separator 5 (see Figs. 1 and 4) for separating the ear cones from the corn stalks and leaves is provided above the raking roller 4. The separators 5 are provided with a predetermined gap between them, and by making the gap between the left and right sides narrower than the width of the corn ear cone, only the corn ear cone is separated from the corn stalks and leaves raked in below.
[0040] The conveying chain 6 is designed to transport the corn ear cones separated by the separator 5 toward the rear of the machine body 10. As shown in FIG. 1, the conveying chain 6 has claws 61 that rotate in the front-to-back direction on the separator 5, and is configured so that the corn ear cones can be placed against the claws 61 and transported to the collecting auger 7 at the rear.
[0041] The collection auger 7 (Figure 1) is designed to collect the ear cones transported to the rear of the body 10 by the conveying chain 6 to the center and gather them on the running body side, and is configured by providing spiral blades on the outer surface of a rotating shaft that runs in the left-right direction.
[0042] Of the cutter 3, pick-up roller 4, and conveyor chain 6, the cutter 3 is driven by a transmission built into a cutter drive gearbox, as shown in FIG. 3, and the pick-up roller 4 and conveyor chain 6 are driven by a transmission built into a main drive gearbox.
[0043] Next, the operation of the pre-treatment device 1 in the corn harvester configured as above will be described.
[0044] First, when harvesting corn, a harvester equipped with a pre-treatment device 1 is driven to separate and collect the corn in the field using a divider 2.
[0045] Then, the corn pushed in from the front is pushed backward by the screw portion 42 of the scraping roller 4 and cut by the cutter 3 near the base of the plant, and at the same time, the rotation of the blades 41 of the scraping roller 4 scrapes the corn stalks downward and chops them up by the cutter 3. The corn stalks chopped in this way are returned to the field.
[0046] Of the corn thus scraped downward by the scraping roller 4, the ear cones are separated from the stalks and leaves by the left and right separators 5. At this time, the ear cones separated from the stalks and leaves at high speed may hit the separators 5 and jump up, but the anti-scattering plates 8 provided on the left and right sides of the machine body 10 prevent the ear cones from scattering to the side, and the ear cones slide along the arc-shaped upper surface of the center cover 13 and drop between the conveyor chains 6.
[0047] The separated ear cones are then transported rearward using the claws 61 of the transport chain 6 and collected by the collecting auger 7 at the rear of the machine body 10.
[0048] By the way, when the corn harvester is transported by truck or when it is difficult to turn near a corner in a field, it is necessary to fold the divider 2 and load it onto the truck, or to fold the divider 2 and turn the machine body 10.
[0049] At this time, the shafts 91 provided on the left and right shatterproof plates 8 are slid forward, and the ends of the shafts 91 are removed from the holes in the upright pieces 92 at the rear of the side covers 12 (see the lower diagram in FIG. 10).
[0050] Then, the shatterproof plate 8 becomes capable of tilting laterally around the pin 83 of the tilting portion 81, and the upright surface 80b of the shatterproof plate 8 comes to be aligned with the side surface portion 12b of the side cover 12 (FIG. 10). At this time, the end of the shaft 91 of the tilted shatterproof plate 8 protrudes again outside the edge portion 90a of the regulating plate 90 (FIG. 8), whereby the shaft 91 abuts against the edge portion 90a of the regulating plate 90, maintaining the tilted state of the shatterproof plate 8.
[0051] With the shatterproof plate 8 tilted in this manner, the tip of the divider 2 is lifted upward and folded backward (see the lower diagram in FIG. 10). At this time, the tip of the divider 2 is abutted against the upper surface 14a of the main cover, and the tilted portion 81 of the shatterproof plate 8 is positioned between the divider 2 and the side cover 12, preventing interference with the divider 2.
[0052] This operation is repeated for the shatterproof plate 8 on the opposite side, and the central divider 2 is folded onto the central cover 13.
[0053] Then, with the divider 2 folded in this manner, the vehicle is loaded onto a truck or turned around in a farm field, and then the divider 2 is returned to its original state.
[0054] According to the above embodiment, in the pre-treatment device 1 for a harvester, the pre-treatment device 1 includes a plurality of dividers 2 that are provided to protrude forward from the vehicle body 10 and are foldable from the top to the rear, a harvesting section 11 that is provided between the left and right side covers 12 and harvests corn taken in between the dividers 2, and a scattering prevention plate 8 that is provided on the left and right side covers 12 and prevents the ear corn harvested by the harvesting section 11 from scattering. A tilting section 81 is provided to tilt the scattering prevention plate 8 sideways from the side cover 12, and the leading end of the divider 2 can be folded in the space above the side cover 12 formed by tilting by the tilting section 81. This allows the divider 2 to be folded widely while keeping the vehicle width small. Even if the scattering prevention plate 8 or the side cover 12 is deformed, the scattering prevention plate 8 can be tilted sideways, so that the divider 2 can be folded.
[0055] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, but can be embodied in various forms.
[0056] For example, in the above embodiment, the tip side of the divider 2 is placed against the upper surface 14a of the main cover to prevent it from interfering with the tilting portion 81, but it is also possible to provide a rubber or the like on the upper part of the tilting portion 81 and fold the divider 2 so that it is placed against this rubber.
[0057] Further, in the above embodiment, the case of harvesting corn has been described, but the present invention can also be applied to the case of harvesting other crops, such as sunflowers.
[0058] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the shatterproof plate 8 is tilted by the pin 83, but it is also possible to provide an arc-shaped long hole and tilt the shatterproof plate 8 by sliding it along this arc-shaped long hole. [Explanation of symbols]
