[Figure 4] FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line BB in FIG. [Diagram 5] A diagram showing the wine storage space as seen from the aisle. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0011] Hereinafter, a building according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

[0012] A building 1 according to this embodiment shown in FIG. 1 is used as a restaurant, and includes an entrance 2 and a room 3.

[0013] The entrance 2 is an entrance to the building 1, and has a door 2a and an entrance hall 2b inside the door 2a. The entrance hall 2b is connected to a corridor 4 that constitutes a part of the movement route (traffic line) from the entrance 2 to the room 3.

[0014] Living room 3 is a room used as a private room (dining room) for meals. Adjacent to living room 3 is a corridor 5 that forms part of the path (traffic flow) from entrance 2 to living room 3, and a door 3a is provided between living room 3 and corridor 5. Although not shown in detail, living room 3 is equipped with a table, chairs, etc., but no wine cellar.

[0015] A wine cellar 10 is provided between the entrance 2 and the living room 3.

[0016] Wine cellar 10 is provided as a room inside building 1. As shown in Figures 2, 3, 4, and 5, a door 11 leading to corridor 4 is provided on wall 10a facing entrance 2 of wine cellar 10, and a door 12 leading to corridor 5 is provided on wall 10b facing living room 3.

[0017] Inside the wine cellar 10, a number of wine racks 13 (for convenience, only one rack is labeled with a symbol) are arranged along a wall 10c perpendicular to the walls 10a and 10b. The wine cellar 10 can store a number of wines 14 supported by these racks 13.

[0018] A room temperature adjustment device 15 is installed in the wine cellar 10. In this embodiment, the room temperature adjustment device 15 is an air conditioner, and is installed by fitting it into an opening provided in the wall 10b from the side of the machine room 6 adjacent to the wine cellar 10, and its air outlet 15a is directed into the interior of the wine cellar 10. The interior of the wine cellar 10 is maintained at a predetermined temperature suitable for storing wine 14 by the room temperature adjustment device 15.

[0019] The wine cellar 10 is provided with a passage 16 which serves as a path between the entrance 2 and the living room 3. That is, the wine cellar 10 is provided between the entrance 2 and the living room 3 on the path or traffic line from the entrance 2 to the living room 3, and a part of the path 16 constitutes the path or traffic line. In this embodiment, the path 16 is provided along the wall 10d opposite the wall 10c on which the rack 13 of the wine cellar 10 is installed. A person such as a visitor who enters the building 1 from the entrance 2 and moves to the wine cellar 10 through the corridor 4 can open the door 11, enter the inside of the wine cellar 10, pass through the wine cellar 10 through the passage 16, exit the corridor 5 from the door 12 and move to the living room 3.

[0020] In this embodiment, the wine cellar 10 has a transparent wall 18 that separates the space for storing wine 14, i.e., the wine storage space 17, from the passage 16. That is, the internal space of the wine cellar 10 is separated into the passage 16 and the wine storage space 17 for storing wine 14 by the transparent wall 18 installed between and parallel to the walls 10c and 10d. Since the wall 18 is transparent, a person passing through the passage 16 can see the inside of the wine storage space 17 through the transparent wall 18, as shown in FIG. 5.

[0021] In this embodiment, the transparent wall 18 is made up of a plurality of glass plates, but it may be made of other materials, such as a transparent synthetic resin plate.

[0022] When the wine cellar 10 is divided into the passage 16 side and the wine storage space 17 side by the transparent wall 18, the room temperature control device 15 is configured so that the outlet 15a is directed toward the wine storage space 17 to control the temperature of the wine storage space 17. Meanwhile, as shown in FIG. 4, the wall 10b is provided with an outlet nozzle 8a connected to a room temperature control device (air conditioner) 8 installed in another location inside the building 1. The outlet nozzle 8a can supply the air whose temperature and humidity have been controlled, sent from the room temperature control device 8, to the passage 16. In other words, the room temperature inside the passage 16 is configured to be controlled separately from the room temperature inside the wine storage space 17.

[0023] As shown in FIG. 3, the wall 10a may be provided with two smoke exhaust ducts 9 for discharging smoke inside the passage 16 to the outside in the event of a fire.

[0024] As shown in Figs. 3 and 4, in this embodiment, the ceiling 7 of the living room 3 is arched. More specifically, the ceiling 7 is smoothly curved between one wall 10c of the wine cellar 10 and the other wall 10d opposite the wall 10c, so that the ceiling height is highest at the center between the walls 10c and 10d, and lowest at the junction between the walls 10c and 10d. The arch shape of the ceiling 7 is approximately uniform between the walls 10a and 10b of the wine cellar 10. The transparent wall 18 is disposed along the highest part of the arched ceiling 7, and divides the interior space of the wine cellar 10 into two equal parts.

[0025] The shape of the ceiling 7 is not limited to an arch shape, and the shape can be changed in various ways.

[0026] A door 19 is provided on the wall 18 for entering and exiting the wine storage space 17 from the passage 16. A gap is provided between the rack 13 and the wall 18 inside the wine storage space 17, so that a person entering the wine storage space 17 from the door 19 can move between the rack 13 and the wall 18 to take out a desired wine 14 supported on the rack 13.

[0027] The wine cellar 10 is provided with motion sensors 20 and 21. More specifically, the motion sensor 20 is provided above the door 11 on the ceiling 7, and the motion sensor 21 is provided above the door 12 on the ceiling 7. The motion sensor 20 can detect that a person has entered the passage 16 from the door 11 on the side of the corridor 4, and the motion sensor 21 can detect that a person has entered the passage 16 from the door 12 on the side of the corridor 5.

[0028] Note that the motion sensor 20 can be installed in any location, not limited to the ceiling 7, as long as it can detect a person entering the passageway 16 from the door 11 on the corridor 4 side. Similarly, the motion sensor 21 can be installed in any location, not limited to the ceiling 7, as long as it can detect a person entering the passageway 16 from the door 12 on the corridor 5 side.

[0029] As the human presence sensors 20, 21, sensors that operate in response to detecting a human can be used, and sensors of various configurations or types can be used, such as non-contact motion sensors that use infrared or light reactions, and non-contact motion sensors that use sound or static electricity reactions.

[0030] The wine cellar 10 is provided with lighting 22. In this embodiment, as shown in Figures 3 and 4, the lighting 22 is disposed facing upward on the rear side of a decorative panel 23 installed on the wall 10d, and serves as indirect lighting that indirectly illuminates the interior of the wine cellar 10.

[0031] The lighting 22 is connected to motion sensors 20, 21, and is configured to light up so as to gradually increase in brightness when the motion sensors 20, 21 detect the entry of a person into the passage 16. That is, when a person enters the passage 16 through the door 11, the motion sensor 20 is activated and the lighting 22 starts to light up, but the lighting 22 does not light up to maximum brightness immediately, but rather lights up to maximum brightness gradually over a predetermined time. Similarly, when a person enters the passage 16 through the door 12, the motion sensor 21 is activated and the lighting 22 starts to light up, but the lighting 22 does not light up to maximum brightness immediately, but rather lights up to maximum brightness gradually over a predetermined time.

[0032] Therefore, immediately after a person enters the passage 16, the lighting 22 has just started to come on and the inside of the wine cellar 10 is dark, and the person who has entered the passage 16 cannot clearly recognize that there is a wine storage space 17 storing a large number of wines 14 beside the passage 16, but after the person enters the passage 16, the inside of the wine cellar 10 gradually becomes brighter, and the person can gradually become aware that there is a wine storage space 17 storing a large number of wines 14 beside the passage 16. In this way, the lighting 22 can create a dramatic effect that gradually makes the person who has entered the passage 16 aware of the wine storage space 17 storing a large number of wines 14.

[0033] The lighting 22 is preferably configured to be at its maximum brightness when a person who has entered the passage 16 reaches the middle of the passage 16 (the center position between the doors 11 and 12). In this case, the time from when the lighting 22 starts to turn on until when it reaches its maximum brightness may be set based on, for example, the average walking speed of people and the distance from the door 11 or 12 to the middle position of the passage 16. In this embodiment, the lighting 22 is configured to be at its maximum brightness 4 seconds after the motion sensors 20, 21 detect the entry of a person into the passage 16 and start turning on the lighting.

[0034] In this way, if the lighting 22 is configured to become maximum brightness when a person who has entered the passage 16 reaches the middle position of the passage 16, the presentation effect of gradually making a person who has entered the passage 16 aware of the wine storage space 17 in which a large number of wines 14 are stored can be further enhanced.

[0035] In addition, the lighting 22 is not limited to indirect lighting as long as it can illuminate the inside of the wine cellar 10, and may be various types of lighting such as downlights, or may be a combination of indirect lighting and downlights.

[0036] As described above, in the building 1 according to this embodiment, the wine cellar 10 is provided between the entrance 2 and the living room 3, and the passageway 16 is provided in this wine cellar 10, so that it is not necessary to provide a wine cellar in the living room 3, and the living room 3 can be used effectively. Also, the wine cellar 10 can be used as a route or flow line connecting the entrance 2 and the living room 3, and the motion sensors 20, 21 and the lighting 22 provide a dramatic effect of the wine cellar 10 to people passing through the passageway 16, so that the wine cellar 10 can be used effectively.

[0037] Furthermore, in the building 1 of this embodiment, the wine cellar 10 is configured to have a transparent wall 18 that separates the wine storage space 17 from the passageway 16, so that the wine storage space 17 can be maintained at a low room temperature suitable for storing wine 14 by the room temperature control device 15, while the passageway 16 can be maintained at a room temperature that is comfortable for people by the room temperature control device 8.

[0038] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.

[0039] For example, in the above embodiment, the building 1 is used as a restaurant, but the present invention is not limited to this and may be a building used for other purposes, such as a hotel.

[0040] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the building 1 is configured such that the entrance 2 is connected to the wine cellar 10 via a corridor 4 and the living room 3 is connected to the wine cellar 10 via a corridor 5; however, if the wine cellar 10 is provided between the entrance 2 and the living room 3, the configuration can be changed in various ways, for example, such as a configuration in which the entrance 2 is connected directly to the wine cellar 10 without the corridor 4, or a configuration in which the living room 3 is connected directly to the wine cellar 10 without the corridor 5.

[0041] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the passage 16 is provided inside the wine cellar 10 along the wall 10d, but the arrangement of the passage 16 inside the wine cellar 10 can be changed in various ways.

[0042] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the wine cellar 10 is provided with the transparent wall 18 that separates the passage 16 from the wine storage space 17, but the transparent wall 18 may not be provided. [Explanation of symbols]
