Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a transport device and a transport method for transporting a brittle material. [Background technology]
[0002] An example of the raw material for ironmaking used in the blast furnace process is coke. High-quality caking coal is the raw material for coke. The price of caking coal has been rising sharply in recent years due to excessive demand. To address this issue, new coke manufacturing technologies, such as the molded coal blending method, have been developed to utilize low-grade coal.
[0003] In the molded coal blending method, at least a portion of the coal charged into a coke oven is replaced with molded coal. Molded coal is produced by mixing crushed coal with a binder and molding the mixture under pressure.
[0004] The briquettes are transported to the coke oven via a conveying line including a hopper, a chute, and a belt conveyor. When the briquettes are charged into the coke oven, not only the briquettes alone are charged into the coke oven, but also a mixture of the briquettes and the powdered coal is charged.
[0005] Briquettes are formed by briquetting coal particles so that they are close to each other. When such briquettes are heated to soften or melt, the fusion is promoted. This allows the blending ratio of low-grade non-caking coal to be increased. The higher the blending ratio of briquettes to total coal, the more non-caking coal can be used as raw material for coke.
[0006] In addition, by blending molded coal with the raw material for coke, the average bulk density of the coal increases, allowing the amount of coal to be charged to be increased, thereby improving the productivity of the coke.
[0007] Molded coal breaks down into powder when it collides with the walls of the conveying line or with other molded coal. When molded coal breaks down, non-caking coal is released to the outside. The area where the non-caking coal is released becomes brittle, which reduces the strength of the coke. In the molded coal blending method, it is necessary to suppress the powdering of molded coal during transportation.
[0008] One method for suppressing powdering of the molded coal is to reduce the impact of the molded coal, which is disclosed in Patent Document 1 as a method for reducing the impact of the molded coal, for example, by forming a coke layer at the bottom of a coke oven and then charging the molded coal.
[0009] The uneven surface of the coke layer formed at the bottom of the coke oven increases the contact area between the briquettes and the coke. This disperses the impact of the briquettes falling freely. When the briquettes collide with the coke layer, the tiny coke particles in the gaps between the briquettes move. As a result, the kinetic energy of the collision is wasted, and the energy acting on the briquettes is reduced.
[0010] Patent Document 2 discloses a sinter ore powdering prevention device in which a plurality of sinter ore flow rate suppression plates are fixed perpendicular to the flow direction of the sinter ore on a slope provided between the hot crusher and the cooler of a sintering machine. In Patent Document 2, the flow rate of the sinter ore is reduced because the flow rate suppression plates or the raw material pools on the flow rate suppression plates act as resistance in the flow direction. [0011] [Patent Document 1] JP 2018-070873 A [Patent Document 2] Special Publication No. 4-005917 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0012] However, the method of Patent Document 1 is specialized for preventing pulverization in a coke oven. For this reason, for example, in a general hopper or chute on a conveying line, briquettes are discharged intermittently or continuously, so even if coke is laid at the point where the briquettes fall, it is discharged together with the briquettes. Therefore, the effect described in Patent Document 1 cannot be obtained with this member, and the problem of pulverization still remains.
[0013] In addition, when non-caking coal is released from the molded coal due to the impact during transportation, it adheres to the walls of the transport path. If the molded coal is transported in this state, the molded coal may adhere to the walls of the transport path. Granular molded coal that adheres to the walls of the transport path repeatedly combines with other granular molded coal to form lumps. As a result, the lump-shaped molded coal may hinder the transport of the molded coal. This phenomenon tends to occur more easily, especially as the particle size of the molded coal becomes smaller.
[0014] In addition, when the raw material contains a large amount of moisture due to rainfall, etc., a water film may be formed on the surface of the molded coal due to the liquid bridging force. The molded coal with the water film may become lumpy as described above or adhere to the wall surface of the transport path.
[0015] Furthermore, if the molded coal contains a large amount of moisture, the clay content may swell with the moisture and become sticky. In addition, molded coal that has become sticky may become lumpy as described above or adhere to the walls of the transport path. Hereinafter, the obstruction of the transport of molded coal due to such a state of molded coal is also referred to as the risk of raw material adhesion.
[0016] When a flow rate suppression plate as in Patent Document 2 is applied to a portion where fine grains are present to form a raw material pool, granular raw materials are retained in the raw material pool. The retained granular raw materials are a cause of the formation of the above-mentioned lump raw materials. For this reason, there is still a risk that the transportation of raw materials for ironmaking will be hindered.
[0017] Patent Document 2 also describes a method in which a flow rate suppressing plate is combined with a pan conveyor, and raw materials remaining on the flow rate suppressing plate are discharged to a conveying path by the rotation of the conveyor. If such a configuration is provided in, for example, a hopper or a chute, large-scale equipment is required, so it is practically difficult to apply the configuration described in Patent Document 2 to anything other than a conveyor. The above-mentioned problem can occur not only with molded coal, but also with all iron-making raw materials such as sintered ore that are prone to cracking and chipping during transportation.
[0018] Furthermore, brittle materials are fragile materials that absorb little energy when broken. The above problems occur not only when raw materials for steelmaking are used, but also when brittle materials are transported.
[0019] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above problems, and has an object to provide a conveying device etc. capable of appropriately conveying brittle materials. [Means for solving the problem]
[0020] In order to solve the above problems, the present invention has the following features. [1] A conveying device having a supply port through which a brittle material is supplied, a discharge port through which the brittle material is discharged, and a connection portion that connects the supply port and the discharge port, the connecting portion has an inclined region in which at least a part of a region between the supply port and the discharge port is located at a higher position on the supply port side than on the discharge port side, the inclined region has a pair of side walls arranged opposite to each other, a bottom portion provided on lower end sides of the pair of side walls, and a plurality of support members arranged from the supply port side to the discharge port side and formed in a rod shape, A transport device, wherein each of the support members is formed to extend from one of the side walls to the other of the side walls and is spaced apart from the bottom of the inclined region. [2] The conveying device described in [1], wherein the distance between adjacent support members is formed shorter than the minimum dimension of the brittle material. [3] The conveying device according to [1] or [2], wherein the distance between the adjacent support members is 0.50 to 0.90 with respect to a minimum dimension of the brittle material. [4] The transport device according to any one of [1] to [3], wherein a distance from the support member to a bottom of the inclined region is longer than a maximum dimension of the brittle material. [5] The conveying device according to [4], wherein the distance from the support member to the bottom of the inclined region relative to the maximum dimension of the brittle material is 1.1 or greater. [6] A conveying method using the conveying device according to [1] or [2], a supply step of supplying the brittle material from the supply port; an adjusting step of adjusting a moving speed of the brittle material by the plurality of support members; a discharge step of discharging the brittle material from the discharge port; The transport method comprises: Effect of the Invention
[0021] According to the conveying device of the present invention, the support members are arranged from the supply port side to the discharge port side, and are provided at a distance from the bottom of the inclined region. This allows the brittle material to be placed on the support members when it is supplied. As a result, a raw material pool can be formed on the support members. The movement speed of the brittle material supplied from the supply port decreases when it falls into the raw material pool. This reduces the collision energy applied to the brittle material, making it possible to suppress pulverization of the brittle material. [Brief description of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0023] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows the configuration of a conveying device. The conveying device 100 is a device for conveying brittle materials. Brittle materials include materials that are prone to cracking and chipping due to impact during conveyance. Examples of such brittle materials include raw materials for iron making, minerals, etc. Examples of raw materials for iron making include sintered ore, molded coal, HBI (Hot Briquetted Iron), etc. Examples of minerals include limestone, mudstone, silica stone, etc. In this embodiment, an example will be described in which the conveying device 100 is used as a conveying device for molded coal.
[0024] 1, the conveying device 100 is formed in a cylindrical shape in this embodiment. For example, a hopper or a chute can be used as the conveying device 100. In this embodiment, an example in which a chute is used as the conveying device 100 will be described.
[0025] The conveying device 100 has a supply inlet 10 through which raw materials for iron-making are supplied, a discharge outlet 20 through which the raw materials for iron-making are discharged, and a connection portion 30 that connects the supply inlet 10 and the discharge outlet 20.
[0026] The supply port 10 is provided on the upper end side of the conveying device 100. A belt conveyor 41 is connected to the supply port 10. In other words, the end of the belt conveyor 41 provided on the supply port 10 side is located above the supply port 10. The iron-making raw materials supplied from the belt conveyor 41 are loaded into the conveying device 100 through the supply port 10.
[0027] The discharge outlet 20 is provided at the lower end side of the conveying device 100. A belt conveyor 42 is connected to the discharge outlet 20. In other words, the starting end of the belt conveyor 42 is located below the discharge outlet 20. The iron-making raw materials discharged from the discharge outlet 20 are supplied to the belt conveyor 42 and transported to a predetermined position.
[0028] The connection part 30 has an inclined region 31 in at least a part of the region between the supply port 10 and the discharge port 20, in which the supply port 10 side is located at a higher position than the discharge port 20 side. In this embodiment, the inclined region 31 is provided so as to be inclined so that the height gradually decreases from the supply port 10 side toward the discharge port 20 side.
[0029] A plurality of rod-shaped support members 32 are provided in the inclined region 31. In this embodiment, the support members 32 are arranged from the supply port 10 side to the discharge port 20 side. The molded coal charged from the supply port 10 reaches the inclined region 31 by free fall and is discharged from the discharge port 20.
[0030] 2 shows the conveying device 100 as viewed from a direction perpendicular to the inclined region 31. As shown in FIG. 2, the inclined region 31 has a pair of side walls 33, 34 arranged opposite to each other, and a bottom portion 35 provided on the lower end sides of the pair of side walls 33, 34.
[0031] Each of the support members 32 is formed to extend from one side wall 33 to the other side wall 34. In this embodiment, each of the support members 32 is provided so as to bridge one side wall 33 and the other side wall 34. Each of the support members 32 may be formed of, but is not particularly limited to, a metal such as iron or stainless steel (SUS). Each of the support members 32 may be fixed to, but is not particularly limited to, one side wall 33 and the other side wall 34 by a fixing means such as a bolt.
[0032] Fig. 3 shows a state in which raw materials for iron making are supplied to the inclined region. In Fig. 3, molded coal 50 is shown as the raw materials for iron making. The molded coal 50 is formed, for example, into an elongated spheroid shape, although it is not particularly limited. In this embodiment, the diameter in the short direction of the molded coal 50 is described as the "minimum dimension", and the diameter in the long direction is described as the "maximum dimension". The minimum dimension and the maximum dimension of the molded coal 50 can be measured, for example, by a vernier caliper.
[0033] The minimum dimension is the shortest dimension measured in the circumferential direction when measuring the outer shape of the brittle material. For example, when the brittle material is formed in an elliptical shape, the minimum dimension can be measured as a "thickness". The minimum dimension is the longest dimension measured in the circumferential direction when measuring the outer shape of the brittle material. For example, when the brittle material is formed in an elliptical shape, the maximum dimension can be measured as a "length".
[0034] The support members 32 are preferably provided such that the interval W between adjacent support members 32 is shorter than the minimum dimension d of the molded coal. The relationship between the interval W of the support members 32 and the minimum dimension d of the molded coal is preferably 0.50≦W / d≦0.90, and more preferably 0.75≦W / d≦0.85.
[0035] In this manner, by determining the interval W between the support members 32 based on the minimum dimension d of the briquettes, the briquettes 50 can be placed between the support members 32. Therefore, the spaces between the support members 32 are blocked by the briquettes 50. When the spaces between the support members 32 are blocked, a raw material pool 51 is formed by the briquettes 50 charged thereafter.
[0036] The raw material pool 51 contains chipped or cracked briquettes 50. Hereinafter, briquettes without chips or cracks are also referred to as sound briquettes. By setting W / d at 0.50≦W / d, the briquettes 50 can be easily retained on the support member 32.
[0037] The higher the ratio of sound molded coal 50 retained in the raw material pool 51, the more preferable it is. By setting such a ratio, when sound molded coal 50 freely falls and collides with the raw material pool 51, the contact area of the raw material pool 51 with the fallen molded coal 50 can be increased. The larger the contact area of the raw material pool 51 with the molded coal is, the more the kinetic energy of the fallen molded coal 50 is transmitted to the raw material pool 51. Therefore, the higher the ratio of sound molded coal 50 retained in the raw material pool 51, the more effectively the movement speed of the molded coal can be decelerated.
[0038] As the spacing W of the support members 32 becomes larger relative to the minimum dimension d of the molded coal, the molded coal 50 remaining in the raw material pool 51 tends to be less likely to be replaced by molded coal charged thereafter. If the molded coal 50 remaining in the raw material pool 51 remains for a long time, the powdered molded coal 50 that has entered the gap between the molded coal 50 and the support members 32 also remains in the raw material pool 51. If the powdered molded coal 50 remains, the risk of the raw material adhesion of the steelmaking raw materials increases.
[0039] Therefore, by setting W / d≦0.90, it is possible to promote replacement of the molded coal 50 remaining in the raw material pool 51 with the molded coal 50 charged thereafter. This makes it possible to reduce the risk of raw material adhesion of the ironmaking raw materials.
[0040] The support member 32 is provided with a gap between it and the bottom 35 of the inclined region 31. The distance D from the support member 32 to the bottom 35 of the inclined region 31 is preferably longer than the maximum dimension L of the molded coal. The relationship between the distance D from the support member 32 to the bottom 35 of the inclined region 31 and the maximum dimension L of the molded coal is preferably D / L≧1.1. Note that as the value of D / L increases, there is a problem that the equipment becomes larger, although there is no disadvantage in terms of operation.
[0041] By providing the support members 32 in this manner, the granular molded coal 50 that has fallen between the support members 32 to the bottom 35 moves downward along the inclination of the bottom 35. At that time, since the distance D from the support members 32 to the bottom 35 of the inclined region 31 is longer than the maximum dimension L of the molded coal, it is possible to prevent the molded coal 50 from blocking the region from the support members 32 to the bottom 35.
[0042] A method for transporting a brittle material using the transport device 100 described above will now be described. Fig. 4 shows a flow of the transport method using the transport device 100. As shown in Fig. 4, a brittle material is supplied from the supply port 10 and a supply step is performed (step S01). Next, an adjustment step is performed in which the moving speed of the brittle material is adjusted by the multiple support members 32 (step S02). Finally, the brittle material is discharged from the discharge port 20 and a discharge step is performed (step S03).
[0043] In the adjustment step of step S02, the moving speed of the molded coal SM is adjusted to decrease as follows. That is, when the ironmaking raw materials are supplied from the supply port 10, the molded coal SM is placed on the support member 32. As a result, a raw material pool 51 is formed on the support member 32. When the molded coal SM supplied from the supply port 10 falls into the raw material pool 51, its moving speed decreases.
[0044] As described above, according to the transport device 100 of the present invention, the support members 32 are arranged from the supply port 10 side to the discharge port 20 side, and are provided at a distance from the bottom 35 of the inclined region 31. As a result, the moving speed of the brittle material supplied from the supply port 10 decreases when it falls into the raw material pool 51 as described above.
[0045] Specifically, the raw material pool 51 has a surface with projections and recesses that serve as a collision surface. Such a collision surface can increase the contact area with the raw material. Therefore, the force applied to the raw material when it collides with the raw material pool 51 can be reduced.
[0046] In addition, when the raw materials for iron-making collide with the raw material pool 51, the raw materials for iron-making in the raw material pool 51 receive the energy of the collision and move. By using a part of the collision energy for this kinetic energy, it is possible to suppress the pulverization of the raw materials for iron-making.
[0047] After falling into the raw material pool 51, the raw materials for iron making move along the slope of the sloped area 31. The raw materials for iron making move through the raw material pool 51 are decelerated by repeatedly coming into contact with other raw materials for iron making in the raw material pool 51. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the powdering of the raw materials for iron making discharged to the belt conveyor 42 provided on the discharge port 20 side. In particular, the conveying device 100 of the present invention can promote the replacement of the raw materials for iron making in the raw material pool 51, thereby reducing the risk of raw material adhesion. In this way, the conveying device 100 of the present invention can appropriately convey the raw materials for iron making. In addition, when molded coal is used as the raw materials for iron making, it is possible to expand the use of low-grade coal while suppressing deterioration of the quality of coke, and to increase the productivity of molded coal.
[0048] The conveying device is not limited to a hopper or a chute, and may be any device formed so that the raw materials for iron-making can fall freely. FIG. 5 shows an embodiment in which the conveying device can be applied. As shown in FIG. 5, a manufacturing machine 61 for manufacturing raw materials for iron-making, a belt conveyor 62 for conveying the raw materials for iron-making discharged from the manufacturing machine 61, and a vertical conveyor 63 connected to an end of the belt conveyor 62 are provided as a conveying line. The raw materials for iron-making discharged from the end of the belt conveyor 62 are supplied to the vertical conveyor 63 by free falling. The conveying device may be provided in a supply area 71 in which the raw materials for iron-making are supplied from the belt conveyor 62 to the vertical conveyor 63 in this manner.
[0049] Fig. 6 shows another embodiment in which the conveying device can be applied. As shown in Fig. 6, a vertical conveyor 63, an inclined conveyor 64 connected to an end of the vertical conveyor 63, and a belt conveyor 65 connected to an end of the inclined conveyor 64 are provided as a conveying line.
[0050] The iron-making raw materials discharged from the end of the vertical conveyor 63 are supplied to the inclined conveyor 64 by free fall. The transport device may be provided in a supply area 72 where the iron-making raw materials are supplied from the vertical conveyor 63 to the inclined conveyor 64 in this manner.
[0051] The iron-making raw materials discharged from the end of the inclined conveyor 64 are supplied to the belt conveyor 65 by free fall. The transport device may be provided in a supply area 73 where the iron-making raw materials are supplied from the inclined conveyor 64 to the belt conveyor 65 in this manner.
[0052] Even when a conveying device is provided in this manner, it is possible to obtain the same effects as those of the above-described embodiment.
[0053] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the spacing W of the support members 32 is constant, but it may be changed depending on the position of the inclined region 31. For example, the spacing W of the support members 32 may be wider on the discharge port 20 side than on the supply port 10 side. By forming it in this manner, it is possible to make it easier for the support members 32 on the supply port 10 side to receive the iron-making raw materials, and further, it is possible to reduce the moving speed of the iron-making raw materials on the support members 32 on the discharge port 20 side. EXAMPLES
[0054] (Test Example 1) Using a test device simulating the conveying device described in the above embodiment, raw materials for iron making were charged and the molded coal powdering rate on the belt conveyor installed on the discharge side was investigated.
[0055] Specifically, 200 kg of molded coal was charged into the conveying device. The relationship between the interval of the support members and the powdering rate of the molded coal was investigated. The distance D from the support members to the bottom of the inclined area was set to D / L=1.5 with respect to the maximum dimension L of the molded coal.
[0056] The raw materials for iron-making were collected from the conveyor installed on the discharge side and sieved. The sieve mesh was 15 mm. The raw materials above the sieve were considered to be sound products, and the raw materials below the sieve were considered to be powdered, and the weights of each were measured. The "powdered material ratio" was calculated by dividing the weight of the powdered material by the total weight of the sound products and the powdered material. W / d and the powdered material ratio are shown in Figure 7.
[0057] In FIG. 7, the example where the relationship W / d between the spacing W of the support members and the minimum dimension d of the molded coal is 0.0 is an example where no support members are provided. In this example, the powdering rate exceeded 15% by mass. In the examples where support members were provided, the powdering rate was 15% by mass or less in all cases, and better results were obtained than in the examples where no support members were provided. Furthermore, when W / d was 0.75 or more, the powdering rate was less than 10% by mass. Thus, from the viewpoint of reducing the powdering rate, it is good to set W / d at 0.50≦W / d, and it is preferable to set W / d at 0.75≦W / d.
[0058] (Test Example 2) The relationship between the distance from the support member to the inclined region and the renewal rate of the raw material pool was investigated.
[0059] 50 kg of painted molded coal was charged and allowed to remain on the support member. Then, 150 kg of uncolored molded coal was charged and the molded coal that remained on the support member was collected.
[0060] The collected molded coal was divided into colored and uncolored molded coal, and the weight of each was measured. The "raw material pool renewal rate" (weight ratio of uncolored molded coal to the total sample) was calculated. As a test condition, the distance D from the support member to the bottom of the inclined area was set to D / L = 1.5 with respect to the maximum dimension L of the molded coal. W / d and raw material pool renewal rate are shown in Figure 8.
[0061] As shown in Fig. 8, when the relationship between the spacing W of the support members and the minimum dimension d of the molded coal is W / d≦0.85 or less, the raw material pool renewal rate is 80% by mass or more. When the value of W / d is 0.90 or 0.95, the raw material pool renewal rate is 40% by mass or more. Therefore, in all examples where support members are provided, the raw material pool renewal rate is 40% by mass or more.
[0062] In addition, the higher the raw material pool renewal rate, the less likely the powdered briquettes on the support member are to remain in the raw material pool. In other words, the higher the raw material pool renewal rate, the less likely the raw material adhesion risk is. Therefore, by setting W / d≦0.90, the risk of raw material adhesion can be reduced in a preferable manner.
[0063] (Test Example 3) The relationship between the distance from the support member to the bottom of the inclined region and the amount of raw iron material retained at the bottom of the inclined region was investigated.
[0064] 200 kg of raw materials for iron making, consisting of 20% by mass of molded coal and 80% by mass of powdered coal, was charged into the conveying device. After the raw materials were charged, the raw materials piled up on the belt conveyor and the support member at the discharge outlet side were collected and their weights were measured.
[0065] The weight of the raw materials remaining at the bottom of the inclined region (hereinafter referred to as the bottom raw material weight) was calculated by the difference between the sample weight and the charged weight. As a test condition, the spacing W of the support members was set to W / d=0.80, where d is the minimum dimension of the briquettes. Figure 9 shows the bottom raw material weight according to the relationship between the distance D from the bottom of the inclined region to the support members and the maximum dimension L of the briquettes.
[0066] As shown in FIG. 9, the relationship between the distance D and the maximum dimension L was confirmed to show that as D / L increased, the weight of the bottom raw materials decreased. When D / L was 1.0 or less, the weight of the bottom raw materials was 5 kg or more. When D / L exceeded 1.0, it was possible to reduce the weight to 1 kg or less. In particular, when D / L exceeded 1.1, the weight of the bottom raw materials was hardly measured. From the viewpoint of preventing clogging between the bottom of the inclined region and the support member, it is preferable that the amount of iron-making raw materials remaining at the bottom of the inclined region is small. Therefore, it is more preferable that D / L is 1.1 or more. [Explanation of symbols]
