[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a frame for a vehicle seat, and more particularly to a riser bracket. [Background technology]
[0002] In the rear seat device for a passenger and freight vehicle disclosed in the following Patent Document 1, a lower arm (riser bracket) is fixed to the upper surface of a slide rail fixed to the floor surface of the vehicle. An upward protrusion that protrudes toward the upper side of the vehicle is provided at the rear end of the riser bracket, and a first upper arm (recliner bracket) is fixed to the upward protrusion. A second upper arm is connected to the recliner bracket via a reclining mechanism, and a seat back is fixed to the second upper arm. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 5-22165 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] In the above-mentioned prior art, when luggage placed in the luggage compartment behind the seat back collides with the seat back during a vehicle collision, stress is concentrated on the riser bracket at the vehicle front side of the upward protrusion of the riser bracket, and the riser bracket is significantly deformed around the upward protrusion. As a result, the seat back is displaced toward the vehicle front side. In particular, when the reclining mechanism is installed only on one side of the seat back in the vehicle width direction, the seat back is displaced toward the vehicle front side.
[0005] SUMMARY OF THE PRESENT INVETION The present invention has been made in consideration of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a riser bracket capable of suppressing deformation of a seat back caused by a collision of luggage with the seat back during a vehicle collision, and a vehicle seat frame provided with the riser bracket. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] The riser bracket of the first aspect comprises a riser bracket main body which is fixed to a slide rail attached to a floor of the vehicle and has a recliner bracket fixed to a rear end to which a seat back frame is connected via a reclining mechanism, the riser bracket main body having a rail fixing portion fastened to an upper surface of the slide rail at its rear, a step portion formed on the seat front side of the rail fixing portion, a lower wall portion disposed on the seat front side of the step portion and spaced apart from the slide rail toward the upper side of the seat, a vertical wall portion extending toward the upper side of the seat from the seat width direction outer end of the lower wall portion and having a recliner bracket fixing portion at its rear end to which the recliner bracket is fastened, and a buckle connection portion to which a buckle of a seat belt device is connected, provided on the seat front side of the recliner bracket fixing portion, and an upper wall portion extending inward in the seat width direction from the upper end of the vertical wall portion and extending flat in the seat fore-and-aft direction.
[0007] In the first aspect of the riser bracket, a riser bracket body is fixed to a slide rail attached to a floor of a vehicle. A recliner bracket is fixed to a rear end of the riser bracket body, and a seat back frame is connected to the recliner bracket via a reclining mechanism.
[0008] The riser bracket main body has a lower wall portion, a vertical wall portion, and an upper wall portion. A rail fixing portion that is fastened to the upper surface of the slide rail is provided at the rear of the lower wall portion. A step portion is formed in the lower wall portion on the seat front side of the rail fixing portion, and the lower wall portion is disposed at the seat front side of the step portion away from the slide rail toward the upper side of the seat. The vertical wall portion extends upward from an outer end portion of the lower wall portion in the seat width direction, and a recliner bracket fixing portion to which a recliner bracket is fastened is provided at a rear end portion of the vertical wall portion. A buckle connecting portion to which a buckle of a seat belt device is connected is provided on the vertical wall portion on the seat front side of the recliner bracket fixing portion. The upper wall portion extends inward in the seat width direction from an upper end portion of the vertical wall portion, and at least a rear portion extends flat in the seat front-rear direction.
[0009] Here, for example, if luggage placed in the luggage compartment behind the seat back collides with the seat back during a vehicle collision, the step portion prevents the vertical wall portion from falling in the seat width direction. Furthermore, since at least the rear portion of the upper wall portion of the riser bracket body extends flat in the front-rear direction of the seat, stress concentration is unlikely to occur at the upper portion of the riser bracket body. As a result, deformation of the riser bracket body can be suppressed.
[0010] The riser bracket of the second aspect is the first aspect, wherein a buckle recess that is recessed inward in the seat width direction is provided on the vertical wall portion on the seat front side of the buckle connecting portion.
[0011] According to the second aspect of the riser bracket, a buckle recess is provided on the vertical wall of the riser bracket body, recessed inward in the seat width direction on the seat front side of the buckle connection part. This buckle recess makes it easier to secure the arrangement space for the buckle in the seat width direction. As a result, for example, it becomes unnecessary to form a step portion at the rear of the upper part of the riser bracket body in order to secure the above-mentioned arrangement space. This makes it easier to both suppress deformation of the riser bracket body and secure the arrangement space for the buckle.
[0012] The riser bracket of the third aspect is the first or second aspect, and includes a reinforcing patch fixed to the rear of the riser bracket main body, and the reinforcing patch has a patch main body portion that is overlapped from the inside in the seat width direction with respect to a portion of the vertical wall portion that includes the recliner bracket fixing portion and the buckle connection portion.
[0013] According to the third aspect of the riser bracket, a reinforcing patch is fixed to the rear of the riser bracket body. This reinforcing patch suppresses deformation of the vertical wall of the riser bracket body, so that deformation of the riser bracket body can be further suppressed.
[0014] The riser bracket of the fourth aspect is the first or second aspect, wherein the reinforcing patch extends from the lower end of the patch main body portion toward the inside in the seat width direction and has a lower flange portion that is overlapped from above the seat against a portion of the lower wall portion that includes the rail fixing portion.
[0015] In the riser bracket of the fourth aspect, the portion of the riser bracket body including the rail fixing portion is reinforced by the lower flange portion of the reinforcing patch, so that it is possible to suppress the concentration of stress around the fastening portion between the rail fixing portion and the slide rail, thereby further suppressing the deformation of the riser bracket body.
[0016] A fifth aspect of the present invention relates to the riser bracket of the third aspect, wherein the reinforcing patch has a bead portion formed across the patch body portion and the lower flange portion.
[0017] In the riser bracket of the fifth embodiment, the bead portion of the reinforcing patch prevents the patch main body from tipping in the vehicle width direction relative to the lower flange portion, so that the reinforcing patch can effectively prevent the vertical wall portion of the riser bracket main body from tipping in the vehicle width direction.
[0018] The riser bracket of the sixth aspect is any one of the first to fourth aspects, in which the reinforcing patch extends from the upper end of the patch main body portion toward the inside in the seat width direction and has an upper flange portion that contacts or is adjacent to and faces the upper wall portion from the lower side of the seat.
[0019] In the riser bracket of the sixth aspect, the upper wall portion of the riser bracket body is reinforced by the upper flange portion of the reinforcing patch, so that deformation of the riser bracket body can be further suppressed.
[0020] A riser bracket of a seventh aspect is any one of the first to fifth aspects, wherein the reinforcing patch extends further toward the seat front side than the step portion.
[0021] In the seventh aspect of the riser bracket, the reinforcing patch extends forward of the seat from the step formed on the lower wall of the riser bracket body, which can prevent stress from concentrating on the periphery of the step on the lower wall, thereby further preventing deformation of the riser bracket body.
[0022] The vehicle seat frame of the eighth aspect comprises a slide rail attached to a floor of a vehicle, a riser bracket of any one of the first to sixth aspects in which the riser bracket main body is fixed to the slide rail, a recliner bracket fixed to a rear end of the riser bracket main body, and a seat back frame connected to the recliner bracket via a reclining mechanism.
[0023] In the vehicle seat frame of the eighth aspect, a slide rail is attached to the floor of the vehicle, and a riser bracket body is fixed to the slide rail. A recliner bracket is fixed to the rear end of the riser bracket body. A seat back frame is connected to the recliner bracket via a reclining mechanism. The riser bracket body is that of any one of the riser brackets of the first to sixth aspects, and therefore the above-mentioned effects can be obtained. Effect of the Invention
[0024] As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to suppress deformation of the riser bracket caused by the collision of luggage with the seat back during a vehicle collision. [Brief description of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0026] Hereinafter, a vehicle seat frame 10 according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Figs. 1 to 8. In each drawing, some reference numerals may be omitted in order to make the drawing easier to see. Arrows FR, LH, and UP, which are appropriately written in each drawing, respectively indicate the front, left, and upper sides of the vehicle seat frame 10. The front-rear, left-right, top-bottom directions of this vehicle seat frame 10 coincide with the front-rear, left-right, top-bottom directions of a vehicle (not shown) in which this vehicle seat frame 10 is mounted.
[0027] 1 and 2, a vehicle seat frame 10 according to this embodiment includes a seat slide mechanism 12, left and right riser brackets 30L, 30R, front and rear pipe frames 60, 62, a recliner bracket 64, a reclining mechanism 66, and a seatback frame 70. This vehicle seat frame 10 forms the framework of a rear seat located on the right side of the vehicle compartment, and is disposed in front of the luggage compartment.
[0028] The seat slide mechanism 12 has left and right slide rails 14L, 14R attached to the floor of the vehicle. Each of the left and right slide rails 14L, 14R has a lower rail 16 fixed to the floor of the vehicle and an upper rail 18 supported so as to be slidable in the front-rear direction relative to the lower rail 16. Each upper rail 18 is configured to be locked from sliding relative to each lower rail 16 by a lock mechanism 20 provided in the seat slide mechanism 12.
[0029] 1 and 2, the lock mechanism 20 has an operating lever 22 bridged between the left and right upper rails 18, and left and right operating force transmission parts 24 (the right operating force transmission part 24 is not shown) that are provided in the center in the front-rear direction of the top surface of each upper rail 18 and transmit the operating force of the operating lever 22 to locking members (not shown) provided inside each upper rail 18. This lock mechanism 20 is configured so that the sliding of each upper rail 18 relative to each lower rail 16 is permitted by lifting the operating lever 22 upward.
[0030] The left and right riser brackets 30L, 30R are disposed above the left and right slide rails 14L, 14R, respectively. The left and right riser brackets 30L, 30R constitute left and right side frames that are part of a seat cushion frame that constitutes the framework of the seat cushion. Hereinafter, the right side (here, the outer side in the vehicle width direction) slide rail 14R will be referred to as the "outer slide rail 14R", the left side (here, the inner side in the vehicle width direction) slide rail 14L will be referred to as the "inner slide rail 14L", the right side riser bracket 30R will be referred to as the "outer riser bracket 30R", and the left side riser bracket 30L will be referred to as the "inner riser bracket 30L". The inner slide rail 14L corresponds to the "slide rail" in the present invention, and the inner riser bracket 30L corresponds to the "riser bracket" in the present invention.
[0031] The outer riser bracket 30R is made of, for example, a press-formed metal plate, and has an elongated shape with the longitudinal direction being the longitudinal direction. The outer riser bracket 30R is formed to be longer than the upper rail 18 of the outer slide rail 14R. The outer riser bracket 30R has a lower wall portion (not shown) fixed to the upper surface of the upper rail 18 of the outer slide rail 14R, a vertical wall portion 32 extending upward from the right end portion (outer end portion in the vehicle width direction; outer end portion in the seat width direction) of the lower wall portion, and an upper wall portion 34 extending leftward (inner side in the vehicle width direction; inner side in the seat width direction) from the upper end portion of the vertical wall portion 32. A step portion 36 is formed at the front portion of the outer riser bracket 30R by expanding the height dimension of the outer riser bracket 30R in a stepped shape. A seat back connecting portion 38 extending upward is formed at the rear end portion of the outer riser bracket 30R.
[0032] As shown in Figs. 2 to 4, the inner riser bracket 30L is composed of a riser bracket body 40 and a reinforcing patch 50. The riser bracket body 40 and the reinforcing patch 50 are composed of, for example, press-formed metal plates. The riser bracket body is elongated in the front-rear direction and is longer than the upper rail 18 of the inner slide rail 14L. A recliner bracket 64 is fixed to the rear end of the riser bracket body 40. A seat back frame 70 is connected to the recliner bracket 64 via a reclining mechanism 66. The seat back frame 70 constitutes the framework of the seat back and includes left and right side frames 72L and 72R.
[0033] The recliner bracket 64 and the left and right side frames 72L, 72R are made of, for example, press-formed metal plates and are arranged with their plate thickness direction in the left-right direction. The lower end of the right side frame 72R overlaps with the upper end of the seat back connecting part 38 of the outer riser bracket 30R from the inside in the vehicle width direction and is rotatably connected to the seat back connecting part 38 via a connecting shaft 74 whose axial direction is in the left-right direction.
[0034] The lower end of the left side frame 72L is disposed outward in the vehicle width direction from the upper part of the recliner bracket 64. A recliner 68 constituting a main part of the reclining mechanism 66 is disposed between the lower end of the left side frame 72L and the upper part of the recliner bracket 64, and the side frame 72L and the recliner bracket 64 are connected via the recliner 68. By unlocking the recliner 68, the seat back frame 70 can be reclined or tilted forward.
[0035] 1 to 6, the riser bracket body 40 has a lower wall portion 42 fixed to the upper surface of the upper rail 18 of the inner slide rail 14L, a vertical wall portion 44 extending upward from the left end portion (inner end portion in the vehicle width direction; outer end portion in the seat width direction) of the lower wall portion 42, and an upper wall portion 46 extending rightward (outer side in the vehicle width direction; inner side in the seat width direction) from the upper end portion of the vertical wall portion 44. A step portion 48 is formed in the front portion of the riser bracket body 40 by expanding the height dimension of the riser bracket body 40 in a stepped manner.
[0036] A rear rail fixing portion 42A is provided at the rear of the lower wall portion 42, which is fastened to the upper surface of the upper rail 18 of the inner slide rail 14L using two front and rear bolts B1 and two front and rear nuts N1. A front rail fixing portion 42B is provided at the front end of the lower wall portion 42, which is fastened to the upper surface of the upper rail 18 of the inner slide rail 14L using a bolt B2 and a nut N2. The rear rail fixing portion 42A corresponds to the "rail fixing portion" in the present invention. As shown in Figs. 5 and 6, the lower wall portion 42 is formed with two through holes H1 through which the two bolts B1 are inserted and a through hole H2 through which the bolt B2 is inserted.
[0037] A step portion 42C bent in a generally crank-like shape as viewed in the left-right direction is formed on the lower wall portion 42 in front of the rear rail fixing portion 42A. This step portion 42C is provided in the center of the lower wall portion 42 in the front-rear direction. In addition, a step portion 42D bent in a generally crank-like shape as viewed in the left-right direction is formed on the lower wall portion 42 in the rear of the front rail fixing portion 42B. This step portion 42D is provided on the front end portion of the lower wall portion 42. Between the step portion 42C and the step portion 42D, the lower wall portion 42 is disposed above and spaced apart from the upper rail 18 of the inner slide rail 14L, and the operating force transmission portion 24 is disposed between the lower wall portion 42 and the upper rail 18.
[0038] The vertical wall portion 44 has a generally constant height at a portion rearward of a step 48 provided at the front of the riser bracket main body 40, with the height dimension increased at the step 48. A recliner bracket fixing portion 44A is provided at the rear end of the vertical wall portion 44 to which the lower end of a recliner bracket 64 is fastened using two front and rear bolts B3 and two front and rear nuts N3. The lower end of the recliner bracket 64 overlaps with the recliner bracket fixing portion 44A from the inside in the vehicle width direction.
[0039] A buckle connecting portion 44B is provided on the vertical wall portion 44 in front of the recliner bracket fixing portion 44A, to which a buckle 76 of a seat belt device is connected using a bolt B4 and a nut N4. The buckle 76 is rotatable around the bolt B4. As shown in Figs. 5 and 6, the vertical wall portion 44 is formed with a through hole H3 through which the two bolts B3 are inserted, a through hole H4 through which the bolt B4 is inserted, and an elongated hole H5 for limiting the rotation range of the buckle 76.
[0040] A buckle recess 44C recessed toward the outside in the vehicle width direction (inward in the seat width direction) is provided in the vertical wall portion 44 on the front side of the buckle connecting portion 44B. The buckle recess 44C is disposed near the center in the front-rear direction of the vertical wall portion 44 and has a generally inverted triangular shape when viewed in the left-right direction. This buckle recess 44C is formed to prevent interference (contact) between the buckle 76 and the riser bracket main body 40 when the buckle 76 rotates forward around the bolt B4.
[0041] A front pipe frame 60 is bridged between the front end of the vertical wall portion 44 and the front end of the vertical wall portion 32 of the outer riser bracket 30R, and a rear pipe frame 62 is bridged between the rear end of the vertical wall portion 44 and the rear end of the vertical wall portion 32. The pipe frames 60, 62 are inserted into through holes H6, H7 formed in the vertical wall portion 32 and through holes H8, H9 (see Figs. 5 and 6) formed in the vertical wall portion 44, and are fixed to the vertical wall portions 32, 44 by means such as welding.
[0042] The upper wall 46 is formed flat in a portion (rear and front-rear intermediate portion) rearward of a step 48 provided at the front of the riser bracket main body 40, and is bent in a generally crank-like shape as viewed in the left-right direction at a step 46A provided at the step 48. The rear and front-rear intermediate portions of the upper wall 46 are configured such that no step portion that changes the height dimension of the riser bracket main body 40 in a stepped shape like the step 46A is formed, and the height dimension of the riser bracket main body 40 is set constant or generally constant rearward of the step 48. Note that the above "flat" does not have to be strictly flat.
[0043] The reinforcing patch 50 has a patch main body 52 overlapped from the outer side in the vehicle width direction (inner side in the seat width direction) with respect to the vertical wall portion 44 of the riser bracket main body 40, a lower flange portion 54 extending outward in the vehicle width direction from the lower end of the patch main body 52 and overlapping from above with the lower wall portion 42 of the riser bracket main body 40, and an upper flange portion 58 extending outward in the vehicle width direction (inner side in the seat width direction) from the upper end of the patch main body 52 and facing in contact with or close to the upper wall portion 46 of the riser bracket main body 40 from the lower side. This reinforcing patch 50 is fixed to the riser bracket main body 40 by, for example, arc welding.
[0044] The front end of the reinforcement patch 50 is disposed near the rear of the step 48 of the riser bracket main body 40, and the rear end of the reinforcement patch 50 is disposed near the rear end of the riser bracket main body 40. This reinforcement patch 50 mainly reinforces the rear of the riser bracket main body 40, but in this embodiment, it extends further toward the front of the vehicle than the step 42C of the lower wall portion 42.
[0045] The patch body 52 is overlapped from the inside in the seat width direction with respect to a portion of the vertical wall 44 including the recliner bracket fixing portion 44A, the buckle connecting portion 44B, and the portion forming the buckle recess 44C (portion bulging inward in the seat width direction), and extends forward beyond the step portion 42C. The patch body 52 has a portion overlapping from the outside in the vehicle width direction with respect to the portion forming the buckle recess 44C in the vertical wall 44, which is a recess 52A recessed toward the inside in the seat width direction. The patch body 52 is formed with two through holes H10 through which the two bolts B3 described above are inserted, a through hole H11 through which the bolt B4 described above is inserted, an elongated hole H12 for limiting the rotation range of the buckle 76, and a through hole H13 through which the rear pipe frame 62 is inserted.
[0046] The lower flange portion 54 is overlapped from above with a portion of the lower wall portion 42 of the riser bracket main body 40 including the rear rail fixing portion 42A. The lower wall portion 42 is formed with two through holes H14 through which the two bolts B1 described above are inserted. A bead portion 56 that bulges upward is formed between the through holes H14. The bead portion 56 has a substantially inverted U-shape when viewed in the left-right direction, and is formed across the lower flange portion 54 and the patch main body portion 52.
[0047] In the vehicle seat frame 10 configured as described above, the left and right slide rails 14L, 14R are attached to the floor of the vehicle. Of the left and right slide rails 14L, 14R, the inner slide rail 14L on the inside in the vehicle width direction is fixed to the riser bracket body 40 of the inner riser bracket 30L. A recliner bracket 64 is fixed to the rear end of the riser bracket body 40, and a seat back frame 70 is connected to the recliner bracket 64 via a reclining mechanism 66.
[0048] The riser bracket main body 40 has a lower wall portion 42, a vertical wall portion 44, and an upper wall portion 46. A rear rail fixing portion 42A fastened to the upper surface of the upper rail 18 of the inner slide rail 14L is provided at the rear portion of the lower wall portion 42. A step portion 42C is formed in the lower wall portion 42 in front of the rear rail fixing portion 42A, and the lower wall portion 42 is disposed in front of the step portion 42C and spaced upward from the upper rail 18 of the inner slide rail 14L.
[0049] The vertical wall portion 44 extends upward from the inner end portion in the vehicle width direction of the lower wall portion 42 (outer end portion in the seat width direction), and a recliner bracket fixing portion 44A to which the recliner bracket 64 is fastened is provided at the rear end portion of the vertical wall portion 44. On the front side of the recliner bracket fixing portion 44A, the vertical wall portion 44 is provided with a buckle connecting portion 44B to which a buckle 76 of the seat belt device is connected. The upper wall portion 46 extends outward in the vehicle width direction (inward in the seat width direction) from the upper end portion of the vertical wall portion 44, and the rear portion and the intermediate portion in the front-rear direction extend flatly in the front-rear direction.
[0050] Here, for example, when luggage placed in the luggage compartment behind the seat back collides with the seat back during a vehicle collision, the step portion 42C suppresses the vertical wall portion 44 from falling in the vehicle width direction. Furthermore, since the rear portion and the intermediate portion in the front-rear direction of the upper wall portion 46 of the riser bracket main body 40 extend flat in the front-rear direction, stress concentration does not occur on the riser bracket at the vehicle front side of the upper protrusion as in the prior art described in the Background Art section, and stress concentration is unlikely to occur on the upper portion of the riser bracket main body 40. As a result, it is possible to suppress deformation of the riser bracket main body 40, and the amount of displacement of the seat back frame 70 toward the front side can be reduced. Moreover, since the step portion 42C for securing the arrangement space of the operating force transmission portion 24 suppresses the vertical wall portion 44 from falling, the configuration can be simplified compared to the case where a dedicated configuration for suppressing the vertical wall portion 44 from falling is provided.
[0051] The above-mentioned effects will be further explained using a comparative example shown in Figs. 9 and 10. In Figs. 9 and 10, the same reference numerals are used for the same components as in this embodiment. In this comparative example, a step 49 is formed at the rear of the riser bracket body 40', and the height dimension of the riser bracket body 40' is reduced on the front side of the step 49. This step 49 corresponds to the "upward protrusion" in the prior art described in the Background Art section. A step 46B is formed in the upper wall 46 of the riser bracket body 40' at the front end of this step 49. In addition, the lower wall 42 of the riser bracket body 40' is reduced in size on the front side of the rail fixing portion 42A. In addition, a reinforcing patch 50' is provided only around the recliner bracket fixing portion 44A of the riser bracket body 40'.
[0052] In this comparative example, when luggage placed in the luggage compartment behind the seat back collides with the seat back during a vehicle collision, stress is concentrated on the riser bracket main body 40' in the vicinity of the front of the step portion 49 of the riser bracket main body 40' (the portion marked with the symbol SC in FIG. 10). Also, the riser bracket main body 40' is deformed so as to sink toward the inside in the vehicle width direction (the outside in the seat width direction) from the vicinity of the portion where the lower wall portion 42 is reduced. This causes the cross section of the riser bracket main body 40' to collapse, and the riser bracket main body 40' is bent starting from the vicinity of the rear end portion of the rail fixing portion 42A. As a result, the deformation of the riser bracket main body 40' becomes large, and the amount of displacement toward the front side of the seat back becomes large, but this can be avoided in this embodiment.
[0053] In this embodiment, the vertical wall portion 44 of the riser bracket main body 40 is provided with a buckle recess 44C recessed outward in the vehicle width direction on the front side of the buckle connecting portion 44B. This buckle recess 44C makes it easier to secure the arrangement space in the vehicle width direction of the buckle 76. As a result, for example, it becomes unnecessary to form the step portion 49 in the above comparative example at the rear part of the upper part of the riser bracket main body 40 in order to secure the arrangement space. Therefore, it becomes easier to both suppress the deformation of the riser bracket main body 40 and secure the arrangement space for the buckle 76.
[0054] In this embodiment, a reinforcing patch 50 is fixed to the rear of the riser bracket body 40. This reinforcing patch 50 suppresses deformation of the vertical wall portion 44 of the riser bracket body 40, thereby further suppressing deformation of the riser bracket body 40. Instead of fixing the reinforcing patch 50 to the rear of the riser bracket body 40, the plate thickness of the riser bracket body 40 may be increased.
[0055] In this embodiment, the reinforcing patch 50 has a lower flange portion 54 that extends from the lower end of the patch main body portion 52 toward the outside in the vehicle width direction (inside in the seat width direction) and overlaps from above a portion of the lower wall portion 42 of the riser bracket main body 40 including the rear rail fixing portion 42A. This lower flange portion 54 reinforces the portion of the riser bracket main body 40 including the rear rail fixing portion 42A, thereby preventing stress from concentrating around the fastening portion of the rear rail fixing portion 42A with the upper rail 18. As a result, deformation of the riser bracket main body 40 can be further prevented.
[0056] In addition, in this embodiment, the reinforcing patch 50 has a bead portion 56 formed across the patch body portion 52 and the lower flange portion 54. This bead portion 56 suppresses the collapse of the patch body portion 52 in the vehicle width direction relative to the lower flange portion 54, so that the reinforcing patch 50 can effectively suppress the collapse of the vertical wall portion 44 of the riser bracket body 40 in the vehicle width direction.
[0057] In this embodiment, the reinforcing patch 50 extends from the upper end of the patch main body 52 outward in the vehicle width direction (inward in the seat width direction) and has an upper flange 58 that contacts or faces closely to the upper wall 46 of the riser bracket main body 40 from below. The upper flange 58 reinforces the upper wall 46 of the riser bracket main body 40, so that deformation of the riser bracket main body 40 can be further suppressed.
[0058] In addition, in this embodiment, the reinforcing patch 50 extends forward of the step portion 42C formed in the lower wall portion 42 of the riser bracket main body 40, thereby preventing stress from concentrating on the periphery of the step portion 42C in the lower wall portion 42. As a result, deformation of the riser bracket main body 40 can be further prevented.
[0059] In the above embodiment, the present invention is applied to the inner riser bracket 30L fixed to the inner slide rail 14L, but this is not limited to the above, and the present invention may also be applied to the outer riser bracket 30R fixed to the outer slide rail 14R.
[0060] Although the present invention has been described above by way of the embodiment, the present invention can be modified and embodied without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Furthermore, the scope of the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment. [Explanation of symbols]
