[0019] As shown in FIG. 1, a digital camera 10 includes a camera body 11 and a lens device 12. In this embodiment, the camera body 11 has a vertically elongated box shape in which the vertical dimension is longer than the horizontal dimension when viewed from the front. A lens barrel section 13 is provided on the front surface of the camera body 11. A mode dial 14, a release switch 15, a power switch 16, an operation lever 17, a hot shoe 18, and the like are provided on one side surface of the camera body 11. An external flash device and the like are detachably attached to the hot shoe 18. In addition, a sync contact (not shown) is provided on the hot shoe 18, so that the attached flash device can be made to emit light in conjunction with a shutter release.
[0020] An imaging element 20 (see FIG. 3) is built into the camera body 11. The imaging element 20 is, for example, a Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) image sensor, a Charge Coupled Device (CCD) image sensor, or an organic thin-film imaging element.
[0021] As shown in Fig. 2, a display 19 is provided on the rear surface of the camera body 11. The display 19 is provided. The display 19 is an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) or an OELD (Organic Electroluminescent Display), etc. The display 19 is used for live view display, captured image display, setting menu display, etc. In the live view display, a captured image of a subject represented by image data acquired by the imaging element 20 is displayed in real time on the display 19. The display 19 is attached to the camera body 11 so as to be rotatable around a hinge portion 11A.
[0022] As shown in FIG. 3, the lens device 12 is located inside the lens barrel 13, and forms an image of subject light on the imaging element 20. The lens device 12 includes first to fourth lens groups 21 to 24, first to fifth lens frames 25 to 29, a first adjustment mechanism 31 (see FIG. 4), a second adjustment mechanism 32 (see FIG. 10), an aperture mechanism 33, a support member 34, and a regulating member 35. Note that in each aspect described below, the first to fourth lens groups 21 to 24 may be lens groups composed of a plurality of lenses. The imaging element 20 is held by a holder 39 and fixed to the image surface side of the lens device 12.
[0023] The first to fourth lens groups 21 to 24 constitute an imaging lens 36. Note that the configuration of the imaging lens 36 is not limited to this, and the imaging lens 36 may be configured to include lens groups other than the first to fourth lens groups 21 to 24. The first lens group 21 includes a first lens 37 and a second lens 38. Note that the first lens group 21 may be configured to include the first lens 37 and the second lens 38, and may be configured, for example, to have another lens disposed between the first lens 37 and the second lens 38.
[0024] The first lens frame 25 holds a first lens 37. The second lens frame 26 holds a second lens 38. The third to fifth lens frames 27 to 29 hold the second to fourth lens groups 22 to 24, respectively. The first lens 37 is located in the imaging lens 36 closest to the object side.
[0025] As shown in Fig. 4, the first lens frame 25 has protruding portions 25A to 25C that protrude radially outward. The protruding portion 25A has a positioning portion 41. The protruding portions 25B and 25C have pressed portions 42A and 42B, respectively. The positioning portion 41 is a groove that fits with a positioning pin 62, which will be described later. The pressed portions 42A and 42B are fitting holes that fit with a first eccentric pin 61, which will be described later.
[0026] The pressed portions 42A and 42B are positioned symmetrically with respect to the symmetry axis SA1 (see FIG. 5). The symmetry axis SA1 is an axis of symmetry that passes through the positioning portion 41 and the first optical axis OA1 (see FIG. 4) of the first lens 37. In the following, "orthogonal" includes "approximately orthogonal" and "coaxial" includes "approximately coaxial." The Z1 direction is a direction parallel to the first optical axis OA1 of the first lens 37, the X1 direction is a direction parallel to the symmetry axis SA1 and perpendicular to the Z1 direction, and the Y1 direction is a direction perpendicular to the Z1 direction and the XI direction.
[0027] As shown in FIG. 5, the first lens frame 25 has a first chord 25D. The above-mentioned positioning portion 41 is disposed on the first chord 25D. Therefore, the first chord 25D is disposed so as to intersect with the symmetrical axis SA1. The first lens frame 25 has a part of an outer peripheral surface that is arc-shaped, and the first chord 25D is a surface that intersects with the arc-shaped outer peripheral surface 25E. Specifically, the outer peripheral surface 25E at the protrusions 25B and 25C and the first chord 25D at the protrusion 25A are disposed so as to intersect with each other. Note that the intersection in the first lens frame 25 may be an actual intersection between the first chord 25D and the outer peripheral surface 25E, but may also be a case in which a surface extending from the outer peripheral surface 25E (shown by a two-dot chain line) intersects with a surface extending from the first chord 25D (shown by a two-dot chain line) as in this embodiment. In this embodiment, the second lens 38 is located on the image plane side of the first lens 37 (see FIG. 3).
[0028] Furthermore, the first lens frame 25 has four protrusions 43 that protrude in the Z1 direction. The protrusions 43 come into contact with the restricting member 35. When viewed from the Z1 direction, the four protrusions 43 are positioned in line symmetry with respect to the axis of symmetry SA1, and of the four protrusions 43, two protrusions 43 are disposed along the first chord portion 25D.
[0029] 6, the second lens frame 26 has an outer shape including end surface portions 26A to 26C, a second chord portion 26D, and an outer peripheral surface 26E. The outer peripheral surface 26E is a part of the outer peripheral surface of the second lens frame 26, and is formed in an arc shape. The end surface portions 26A to 26C include the ends of the outer shape of the second lens frame 26 and the vicinity thereof. In this embodiment, the end surface portions 26A to 26C are located radially outward from the second lens 38, and radially inward from the outer peripheral surface 26E.
[0030] The second lens frame 26 has a plurality of press-fit holes. In this embodiment, the second lens frame 26 has three press-fit holes 45A to 45C. Specifically, the press-fit holes 45A to 45C are arranged in the end face portions 26A to 26C, respectively. The press-fit holes 45A to 45C are through holes having a polygonal cross-sectional shape, into which a second eccentric pin 81, described later, is press-fitted. In this embodiment, the press-fit holes 45A to 45C are formed to have a hexagonal cross-sectional shape (see FIG. 11).
[0031] The second chord portion 26D is a surface that intersects with the outer peripheral surface 26E. Note that the intersection in the second lens frame 26 may be the actual intersection of the second chord portion 26D and the outer peripheral surface 26E as in the present embodiment, but may also be the intersection of a surface extending from the outer peripheral surface 26E and a surface extending from the second chord portion 26D.
[0032] The second lens frame 26 has recesses 46A to 46C, a positioning hole 47, rotation guides 48A and 48B, and fitting holes 49A and 49B on the radially inner side of the outer circumferential surface 26E. The recesses 46A to 46C are provided on the object side surface 26F of the second lens frame 26 at positions corresponding to the end surface portions 26A to 26C, and are concave in the Z2 direction. The Z2 direction is parallel to the second optical axis OA2 of the second lens 38, the X2 direction is parallel to the symmetry axis SA2 described later and perpendicular to the Z2 direction, and the Y2 direction is perpendicular to the Z2 direction and the X2 direction. However, this is not limited to this, and the recesses 46A to 46C may be provided on the image surface side surface of the second lens frame 26. The press-fit holes 45A to 45C are connected to the recesses 46A to 46C. Specifically, the press-fit holes 45A to 45C penetrate from the end surface portions 26A to 26C to the recesses 46A to 46C.
[0033] The press-fit holes 45B and 45C are positioned symmetrically with respect to the symmetry axis SA2, and the press-fit hole 45A is positioned passing through the symmetry axis SA2. The symmetry axis SA2 is an axis of symmetry that passes through the positioning hole 47 and the second optical axis OA2 of the second lens 38 (see FIG. 4).
[0034] The shaft portion 61A of the first eccentric pin 61 is rotatably fitted into the fitting holes 49A and 49B. The fitting holes 49A and 49B are located at positions symmetrical with respect to the symmetry axis SA2. The rotation guide portions 48A and 48B are circular holes formed coaxially with the fitting holes 49A and 49B, and are formed to match the flange portion 61C of the first eccentric pin 61. The rotation guide portions 48A and 48B guide the rotation of the first eccentric pin 61 fitted into the fitting holes 49A and 49B. The fitting holes 49A and 49B may be through holes having a polygonal cross-sectional shape, similar to the press-fit holes 45A to 45C. This makes it possible to easily press-fit the first eccentric pin 61, and also makes it possible to repeat the process.
[0035] The diaphragm mechanism 33 is located on the image plane side of the second lens 38 (see FIG. 3). The diaphragm mechanism 33 is fixed in position in the Z1 direction and the Z2 direction with respect to the first lens group including the first lens 37 and the second lens 38. In this embodiment, the diaphragm mechanism 33 is fixed to the support member 34. In this embodiment, the diaphragm mechanism 33 has a fixed diaphragm aperture 33A. However, this is not limiting, and the diaphragm aperture may be changed by operating diaphragm blades or the like.
[0036] The first adjustment mechanism 31 includes a first eccentric pin 61 and a positioning pin 62. The positioning pin 62 fits into a positioning hole 47 of the second lens frame 26 and is fixed to the second lens frame 26. The positioning pin 62 fixed to the second lens frame 26 protrudes toward the object side and the image plane side of the second lens frame 26 (the state shown in FIGS. 14 and 15).
[0037] 7, the first eccentric pin 61 has a shaft portion 61A, a head portion 61B, and a flange portion 61C. The head portion 61B has a larger outer diameter than the shaft portion 61A, and the flange portion 61C has a larger outer diameter than the head portion 61B. The first eccentric pin 61 is disposed with the flange portion 61C sandwiched between the shaft portion 61A and the head portion 61B, and the shaft portion 61A, the head portion 61B, and the flange portion 61C are integrally provided.
[0038] The outer diameter of the head 61B is formed to match the radial width of the pressed portions 42A, 42B of the first lens frame 25. An insertion groove 61D into which a jig is inserted is provided in the head 61B. An operator can insert a jig into the insertion groove 61D to rotate the first eccentric pin 61.
[0039] The head 61B of the first eccentric pin 61 is eccentric with respect to the shaft 61A. As a result, when the first eccentric pin 61 rotates about the shaft 61A, the position of the head 61B changes with respect to the shaft 61A. The flange 61C is not eccentric with respect to the shaft 61A and is positioned coaxially with the shaft 61A.
[0040] As shown in Figs. 4 and 8, in the first adjustment by the first adjustment mechanism 31, first, the positioning portion 41 of the first lens frame 25 is fitted into the positioning pin 62 fixed in the positioning hole 47 of the second lens frame 26, the shaft portion 61A of the first eccentric pin 61 is fitted into the fitting holes 49A and 49B of the second lens frame 26, and the head portion 61B of the first eccentric pin 61 is fitted into the pressed portions 42A and 42B of the first lens frame 25. This allows the position of the second chord portion 26D of the second lens frame 26 to be aligned with the position of the first chord portion 25D of the first lens frame 25. Also, the position of the positioning portion 41 can be aligned with the position of the positioning hole 47. As described above, the first adjustment is performed in a state in which the first lens frame 25 and the second lens frame 26 are integrated.
[0041] As described above, the pressed portions 42A and 42B are positioned line-symmetrically with respect to the axis of symmetry SA1, and the head 61B of the first eccentric pin 61 constituting the first adjustment mechanism 31 fits into the pressed portions 42A and 42B. That is, the first adjustment mechanisms 31 are disposed in two locations and are positioned line-symmetrically with respect to the axis of symmetry SA1.
[0042] As shown in FIG. 9(A), in the first adjustment mechanism 31, the head 61B of the first eccentric pin 61 is exposed through the pressed parts 42A, 42B of the first lens frame 25. This allows the first eccentric pin 61 fitted into the fitting holes 49A, 49B of the second lens frame 26 to rotate around the central axis of the shaft part 61A. Then, as shown in FIG. 9(B), when at least one of the first eccentric pins 61 is rotated around the central axis of the shaft part 61A, the pressed parts 42A, 42B are pressed. By the pressed parts 42A, 42B being pressed, the first lens frame 25 can be moved (shifted) in the X1 direction and the Y1 direction relative to the second lens frame 26. That is, the position of the first optical axis OA1 of the first lens 37 can be moved to coincide with the position of the second optical axis OA2 of the second lens 38. As described above, the first adjustment of the first lens frame 25 relative to the second lens frame 26 can be performed.
[0043] As shown in Fig. 10, the support member 34 includes a first support member 65 and a second support member 66. The first support member 65 and the second support member 66 are fastened together by a plurality of screw members 67. However, this is not limited to the above, and the support member 34 may be configured from a single component. The first support member 65 supports the second lens frame 26. The second lens frame 26 may be supported by the first support member 65 by any method capable of supporting the second lens frame 26, such as by screwing, fixing by fitting, or by adhering with an adhesive.
[0044] The first support member 65 has contact portions 68A to 68C and a positioning groove 69. The contact portions 68A to 68C are provided at positions where they come into contact with the end face portions 26A to 26C of the second lens frame 26, respectively. The contact portions 68A to 68C have restriction portions 71A to 71C, respectively. The restriction portions 71A to 71C are through holes into which a second eccentric pin 81, which will be described later, fits.
[0045] 10, the second adjustment mechanism 32 includes a plurality of second eccentric pins 81. In this embodiment, the second adjustment mechanism 32 includes three second eccentric pins 81 corresponding to the press-fit holes 45A to 45C. As described above, the press-fit holes 45B and 45C are located in line symmetrical positions with respect to the axis of symmetry SA2, and the press-fit hole 45A is located at a position that passes through the axis of symmetry SA2. That is, the second adjustment mechanism 32 is disposed at three locations, one of the second adjustment mechanisms 32 is located at a position that passes through the axis of symmetry SA2, and the remaining two of the second adjustment mechanisms 32 are located at line symmetrical positions with respect to the axis of symmetry SA2.
[0046] As shown in FIG. 11, the second eccentric pin 81 has a shaft portion 81A and a head portion 81B. The head portion 81B has an outer diameter larger than that of the shaft portion 81A. The second eccentric pin 81 has the shaft portion 81A and the head portion 81B integrally formed. The shaft portion 81A of the second eccentric pin 81 is press-fitted into each of the press-fit holes 45A to 45C. The outer diameter of the shaft portion 81A may be smaller than the circumscribing circle of the press-fit holes 45A to 45C and may be larger than the inscribing circle of the press-fit holes 45A to 45C. The head portion 81B is provided with an insertion groove 81C into which a jig is inserted. An operator can insert a jig into the insertion groove 81C to rotate the second eccentric pin 81.
[0047] The second eccentric pin 81 has a head 81B that is eccentric with respect to the shaft 81A, similar to the first eccentric pin 61. As a result, when the second eccentric pin 81 rotates about the shaft 81A, the position of the head 81B changes with respect to the shaft 81A.
[0048] 12, when the second eccentric pin 81 is press-fitted into the press-fit hole 45A, the shaft portion 81A is exposed in the recess 46A when viewed in the Z2 direction. When the second eccentric pin 81 is press-fitted into the press-fit holes 45B and 45C, the shaft portion 81A is similarly exposed in the recesses 46B and 46C when viewed in the Z2 direction. This allows the second eccentric pin 81 to be pressed by inserting a jig 82 or the like into the recesses 46A to 46C. In FIG. 12, the first lens frame 25, the second support member 66, and the like are omitted to avoid complication.
[0049] 10 and 13, in the second adjustment by the second adjustment mechanism 32, first, the first lens frame 25 and the second lens frame 26 are combined (the first lens frame 25 and the second lens frame 26 are integrated in the first adjustment), the end surfaces 26A to 26C are brought into contact with the contact portions 68A to 68C, and the tip of the positioning pin 62 is aligned with the position of the positioning groove 69. This makes it possible to align the position of the first chord portion 25D of the first lens frame 25 and the position of the second chord portion 26D of the second lens frame 26 with the position of the positioning groove 69.
[0050] 11, the shaft portion 81A of the second eccentric pin 81 constituting the second adjustment mechanism 32 is press-fitted into the press-fit hole 45B, and the head portion 81B of the second eccentric pin 81 is fitted into the restricting portion 71B of the first support member 65. Note that FIG. 11 only shows a state in which the shaft portion 81A is press-fitted into the press-fit hole 45B and the head portion 81B is fitted into the restricting portion 71B, but the shaft portion 81A is similarly press-fitted into the press-fit holes 45A and 45C, and the head portion 81B is similarly fitted into the restricting portions 71A and 71C. As a result, the restricting portions 71A to 71C restrict the position of the head portion 81B in the Z2 direction.
[0051] 13, the second adjustment mechanism 32 can perform the second adjustment of the first lens frame 25 and the second lens frame 26 by rotating the second eccentric pin 81 press-fitted into the press-fit holes 45A to 45C of the second lens frame 26 around the central axis of the head 81B. That is, when the head 81B is rotated around the central axis, the head 81B does not move because the position of the head 81B in the Z2 direction is restricted by the restricting portions 71A to 71C, but as described above, the head 81B is eccentric with respect to the shaft portion 81A, so the shaft portion 81A can displace the position in the Z2 direction with respect to the head 81B. In this case, the restricting member 35 is not fixed to the second lens frame 26, and the fastening by the screw member 83 described later is loosened.
[0052] As shown in Fig. 14, when one of the second eccentric pins 81 is rotated around the central axis of the head 81B, the position of the shaft 81A in the Z2 direction changes relative to the head 81B. As a result, the press-fit hole 45A into which the shaft 81A is press-fitted also moves in the Z2 direction at the same time. Note that Figs. 14 and 15 show the second eccentric pin 81 in which the shaft 81A is press-fitted into the press-fit hole 45A, but the second eccentric pins 81 press-fitted into the press-fit holes 45B and 45C also operate in the same way.
[0053] When only one second eccentric pin 81 is rotated and the remaining two second eccentric pins 81 are not rotated, only the press-fit hole 45A into which the rotated second eccentric pin 81 is press-fitted moves in the Z2 direction, and the press-fit holes 45B and 45C into which the remaining two second eccentric pins 81 are press-fitted do not move. In other words, since only the press-fit hole 45A moves in the Z2 direction, the first lens frame 25 and the second lens frame 26 rotate (the state shown in FIG. 15). That is, a second adjustment can be made to the inclination of the first optical axis OA1 of the first lens 37 and the second optical axis OA2 of the second lens 38.
[0054] As described above, after performing the first and second adjustments, the worker checks the imaging performance of the imaging lens 36 and confirms whether the optical axis decentering has been properly corrected. The method for checking the imaging performance of the imaging lens 36 is the same as the conventional method, for example, by visually checking an image of a test chart captured through the imaging lens 36. After checking, the first lens frame 25 and the second lens frame 26 are fixed to the support member 33 by screws or the like.
[0055] 16, the above-mentioned first adjustment mechanism 31 and second adjustment mechanism 32 are disposed in a range A on the image side of a first position P1 where the second surface 37B of the first lens 37 and the first optical axis OA1 of the first lens 37 intersect, and on the objective side of the diaphragm mechanism 33. Note that the first surface 37A of the first lens 37 is the surface on the objective side, and the second surface 37B is the surface on the image side.
[0056] The restricting member 35 is an annular member that restricts the position of the first lens frame 25 in the Z1 direction. Specifically, the restricting member 35 is screwed and fastened to the second lens frame 26 by a plurality of screw members 83 (see FIG. 13). The restricting member 35 comes into contact with the convex portion 43 of the first lens frame 25 by being fastened to the second lens frame 26. The first lens frame 25 is pressed by the restricting member 35 that is in contact with the convex portion 43, and the position of the first lens frame 25 in the Z1 direction is restricted.
[0057] As shown in FIG. 17, a circuit board 84 is provided inside the camera body 11. The circuit board 84 is provided with a control unit and the like that controls each part of the digital camera 10. The circuit board 84 is connected to the hot shoe 18. It is known that the hot shoe 18 is provided as close as possible to the lens device 12 in order to attach a flash device and the like. In other words, it is required that the distance D1 between the lens optical axis of the lens device 12 and the hot shoe 18 be narrow. As described above, in this embodiment, the camera body 11 has a vertically long box shape, and the hot shoe 18 is provided on one side of the camera body 11 in order to bring the hot shoe 18 close to the lens device 12.
[0058] However, in the conventional lens device, the outer shape is cylindrical, and if the lens optical axis and the hot shoe are too close to each other, the space for connecting the circuit board to the hot shoe cannot be secured. In contrast, in the lens device 12 of the present invention, the first string portion 25D is provided on the first lens frame 25, and the second string portion 26D is provided on the second lens frame 26. By arranging the first string portion 25D and the second string portion 26D in a position facing the hot shoe 18, the space between the hot shoe 18 and the lens device 12 can be expanded. A part 84A of the circuit board 84 can be arranged in the space between the hot shoe 18 and the lens device 12. In this way, the distance D1 between the lens optical axis of the lens device 12 and the hot shoe 18 can be narrowed, and the space for connecting the circuit board 84 to the hot shoe 18 can be secured. That is, the lens device 12 and the imaging device including the lens device 12 can be made smaller and lighter.
[0059] As described above, in the lens device 12 of the present invention, the first adjustment mechanism 31 and the second adjustment mechanism 32 make it possible to easily adjust the optical axes of the first lens 37 and the second lens 38, i.e., adjust the position and inclination of the first optical axis OA1 of the first lens 37 and the second optical axis OA2 of the second lens 38, and also make the entire device smaller and lighter.
[0060] Furthermore, since the position of the four convex portions 43 of the first lens frame 25 is regulated by the regulating member 35, the position and inclination of the first optical axis OA1 of the first lens 37 and the second optical axis OA2 of the second lens 38 can be maintained with high precision after the first adjustment and the second adjustment are performed.
[0061] In addition, since the cross-sectional shape of the press-fit holes 45A to 45C into which the second eccentric pin 81 is press-fitted is polygonal, the contact area between the shaft portion 81A of the second eccentric pin 81 and the press-fit holes 45A to 45C is small, making it easy to perform the press-fitting process.
[0062] Furthermore, since recesses 46A-46C connected to press-fit holes 45A-45C are provided, if it is desired to redo the second adjustment, a jig or the like can be inserted into recesses 46A-46C to easily push out second eccentric pin 81, and the press-fit process can be performed again.

The various processors include a CPU (Central Processing Unit), which is a general-purpose processor that executes software (programs) and functions as various processing units, a GPU (Graphical Processing Unit), a PLD (Programmable Logic Device), which is a processor whose circuit configuration can be changed after manufacture such as an FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array), and a dedicated electric circuit, which is a processor having a circuit configuration designed exclusively for executing various processes.

Also, multiple processing units may be configured with one processor. As an example of configuring multiple processing units with one processor, first, as represented by a computer such as a client or server, there is a form in which one processor is configured with a combination of one or more CPUs and software, and this processor functions as multiple processing units. In this way, the various processing units are configured using one or more of the above various processors as a hardware structure.
[0065] Furthermore, the hardware structure of these various processors is, more specifically, an electric circuit in the form of a combination of circuit elements such as semiconductor elements.
[0066] In the above-described embodiments, the lens device 12 does not have a zoom lens, but the present invention is not limited thereto, and the imaging lens 36 may include a zoom lens. The present invention is also applicable to imaging devices such as smartphones and video cameras, in addition to digital cameras. In the above-described embodiments, the aperture mechanism is exemplified, in which the aperture is fixed or the aperture is mechanically variable, but the aperture mechanism of the lens device of the present invention is not limited thereto, and may be configured to include an aperture mechanism in which an ND (Neutral Density) filter is provided and the density of the ND filter is changed to vary the aperture.
