[0005] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 7-190109 [Patent Document 2] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 9-099819 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0006] However, conventional handbrakes (parking brake lever devices) including the above-mentioned handbrake have the following problems.

[0007] That is, in the case of a parking brake lever device having a specific structure, specifically, an operating lever portion rotatably supported on the vehicle body and having a pipe-shaped grip portion at least on the rotating side, a locking plate portion whose position is fixed on the vehicle body and has a plurality of engagement teeth arranged in the rotation direction of the operating lever portion, an unlocking button arranged at the tip of the grip portion, a locking claw plate that rotates and displaces integrally with the operating lever portion and displaces in the engagement direction relative to the engagement teeth, a transmission rod that has a bent engagement portion bent into an L shape relative to a rod main body portion and transmits the displacement of the locking button to the unlocking side to the locking claw plate by inserting it into the inside of the grip portion, and a spring that biases the locking claw plate in the engagement direction, the transmission rod has a bent engagement portion bent into an L shape relative to the rod main body portion and has a structure that passes through the inside of the pipe-shaped grip portion, so that during manufacturing, a process of inserting the L-shaped transmission rod into the inside of the pipe-shaped grip portion is required.

[0008] Since the parking brake lever device is operated manually by the driver or the like by gripping it with his / her hand, it is required to be easy to operate and to operate. Therefore, in order to meet this requirement, it is necessary to select an appropriate outer diameter of the grip part, and it is not appropriate for the diameter to be too thin or too thick. As a result, during manufacturing, it is difficult to insert the L-shaped transmission rod into the inside of the pipe-shaped grip part, and the transmission rod is configured as two parts divided into a rod main body part side and a bent engagement part side, and during manufacturing, one part is inserted into the grip part from an opening at one end and the other part is inserted from an opening at the other end, and then the two parts are joined together. In addition, when selecting the grip part, it is necessary to select a large-diameter grip part having the maximum allowable diameter. In the case of a specific parking brake lever device, there is a problem that the number of parts and the number of steps during manufacturing increase the cost and the ease of manufacturing decreases, and it is not possible to select a grip part of an appropriate thickness.

[0019] Next, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

[0020] First, the configuration of a parking brake lever device 1 according to this embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 6. FIG.

[0021] The parking brake lever device 1 basically comprises an operating lever portion 2, a locking plate portion 3, an unlocking button 4, a locking claw plate 5, a transmission rod 6, a spring 7, and a washer 8, as shown in Figs. 1 to 3.

[0022] As shown in Fig. 1, the operating lever portion 2 is rotatably supported on the vehicle body B, and has a pipe-shaped grip portion 2g at least on the rotating side. It is preferable that the vehicle body B includes at least the vehicle body B of the speed sprayer S. This allows the effects of the present invention to be applied to the speed sprayer S, and therefore the present invention can be embodied as a preferred form for the speed sprayer S, such as contributing to improvements in the manufacturing process of the speed sprayer S.

[0023] The operating lever section 2 is provided with a support bracket section 11 installed on the vehicle body B to the left of the driver's seat (not shown), a lever base section 2m rotatably supported by a support shaft 12 provided on the support bracket section 11, and is configured by joining the rear end of the grip section 2g to the front end of the lever base section 2m. In FIG. 1, the direction of the arrow Ff is the front of the vehicle body B. As shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. 6, the lever base section 2m is formed by joining two panel members 2mp, 2mq at a predetermined distance, and the grip section 2g is formed by cutting a round pipe material. 2gs indicates an anti-slip covering section made of a rubber material or the like attached to the outer circumferential surface of the grip section 2g.

[0024] On the other hand, the locking plate portion 3 is formed of a single plate member whose position is fixed to the vehicle body B, i.e., fixed to the upper surface of the support bracket portion 11, and at least its front portion is disposed inside the lever base portion 2m. At the front end of the locking plate portion 3, as shown in Figure 1, a plurality of engagement teeth 3b... are arranged in the rotational direction R of the operating lever portion 2.

[0025] Furthermore, an operation transmission mechanism Mt is disposed inside the operating lever portion 2, and is composed of an unlock button 4, a locking claw plate 5, a transmission rod 6, a spring 7, and a washer 8. The unlock button 4 is disposed at the tip of the grip portion 2g, and a front portion of the unlock button 4 protrudes from an opening at the tip of the grip portion 2g.

[0026] 4, the front end of the transmission rod 6 is fixed to the rear end of the release button 4 by welding or the like. The transmission rod 6 includes a rod main body 6m having a front end fixed to the lock release button 4 and a bent engagement portion 6c formed by bending the rear portion of the rod main body 6m into an L shape. In this case, bending into an L shape is a concept that includes not only bending into an L shape but also bending into a J shape, and what is essential is that the tip of the bent engagement portion 6c has a function of being able to be coupled by locking to a notched recess 5s of the locking claw plate 5 described later.

[0027] The rod body 6m has a round rod-shaped front part 6mf located at the front and a rear part 6mr located at the rear and having a rectangular cross-sectional shape (see Figure 2). A wide spring locking part 6mc that restricts the front end of the spring is provided between the front part 6mf and the rear part 6mr.

[0028] 4, the bent engagement portion 6c has an L-shape as a basic shape, but according to the present invention, an insertion hole 8h for a washer 8 is located at the intermediate position of the bent engagement portion 6c, thereby bending the bent engagement portion 6c to form a temporary support portion 6cs having a step that temporarily supports the washer 8. Since the bent engagement portion 6c is continuous with the rod main body rear portion 6mr, it is formed into a rectangle having the same cross-sectional shape as the rod main body rear portion 6mr.

[0029] The washer 8 is formed from a single plate material as shown in FIG. 5. The outer diameter of the outer periphery 8f of the washer 8 is formed into a circle slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the grip portion 2g, and one or more concave or hole-shaped jig locking portions 11c are provided on the surface of the outer periphery 8f or the washer 8. For example, a pair of concave (semicircular) notched jig locking portions 11c, 11c are provided on the left and right positions of the outer periphery 8f. By providing such jig locking portions 11c, the washer 8 can be operated using a predetermined jig that is locked to the jig locking portions 11c, so that the washer 8 can be easily and smoothly slid in the axial direction of the transmission rod 6.

[0030] Incidentally, if such jig locking portions 11c, 11c... can lock the outer periphery 8f in accordance with the form of the jig 100 described later, the outer periphery 8f can also be used as the jig locking portions 11c, 11c.... Also, in cases where a welded portion or the like is present in a part of the grip portion 2g and there is a cutout for the welded portion or where the washer 8 originally has a hole or cutout for passing cables or the like therethrough, it is possible to use them both.

[0031] Furthermore, an insertion hole 8h through which the transmission rod 6 is inserted is formed in the center of the washer 8. The insertion hole 8h is formed in a rectangular shape similar to the cross-sectional shape (rectangular shape Cs) of the bent engagement portion 6c described above, that is, a similar shape that is slightly larger than the cross-sectional shape of the bent engagement portion 6c. The rear end portion of the spring 7 can be restricted by this washer 8. The spring 7 is used in a state in which the coil spring is compressed.

[0032] In this way, when constructing the transmission rod 6, if a part or all of the cross-sectional shape is formed into a rectangular shape Cs and the shape of the insertion hole 8h is formed into a shape similar to the rectangular shape Cs, the rotational displacement of the transmission rod 6 in the circumferential direction can be restricted, so that the transmission rod 6 can be positioned in the circumferential direction and unnecessary displacement in the circumferential direction can be avoided. The above-mentioned transmission rod 6 and washer 8 constitute the essential parts of the present invention.

[0033] On the other hand, the locking claw plate 5 rotates and displaces integrally with the operating lever portion 2, and has the function of displacing in the engagement direction Fs relative to the engagement teeth 3b.... For this reason, the locking claw plate 5 is supported so as to be freely rotatable and displaceable by a support shaft portion 13 provided inside the lever base portion 2m at an intermediate position between the rear end of the grip portion 2g and the front end of the locking plate portion 3, as shown in Fig. 1. Then, a claw portion 5b that can mesh with the engagement teeth 3b... of the locking plate portion 3 is formed in a portion of the locking claw plate 5 adjacent to the locking plate portion 3, and a notched recess 5s for engaging with the tip of the bent engagement portion 6c is provided in a portion adjacent to the rear end of the grip portion 2g.

[0034] By forming the locking claw plate 5 in this manner, the locking claw plate 5 can be assembled (connected) to the bent engagement portion 6c by simply receiving it from one direction, making it easy and quick to assemble the locking claw plate 5.

[0035] Next, a method of assembling the parking brake lever device 1 according to this embodiment will be described according to the flow chart shown in FIG. 7, mainly with reference to FIGS. 8 to 11 and further to each figure.

[0036] First, assembly related to the transmission rod 6 is performed (step S1). In this case, the front end of the transmission rod 6 is attached to the rear end of the unlocking button 4 and fixed by welding to obtain a rod assembly in which the transmission rod 6 and the unlocking button 4 are integrated as shown in FIG. 4. Note that detailed explanations of other assembly except for the main parts of the parking brake lever device 1 according to the present invention will be omitted. In addition, as shown in FIG. 8, the spring 7 is attached to the rear end of the transmission rod 6, and the front end of the spring 7 is abutted against the spring engaging portion 6mc provided on the transmission rod 6.

[0037] Next, as shown in Fig. 8, the insertion hole 8h of the washer 8 is attached from the rear end of the transmission rod 6 and positioned on the temporary support portion 6cs formed by a step in the bent engagement portion 6c (step S2). This allows the temporary support portion 6cs to temporarily support the washer 8. Then, in this state, the rear end of the transmission rod 6 is inserted in the direction of the arrow F1 from the tip opening of the grip portion 2g (step S3). Fig. 9 shows the inside of the grip portion 2g in a state where the transmission rod 6 is inserted from the rear end side into the grip portion 2g.

[0038] In this case, if the washer 8 is positioned on the side of the rod main body portion 6m, the upper end position of the washer 8 and the lower end position of the bent engagement portion 6c will be larger than the inner diameter of the grip portion 2g, making it difficult to insert it into the inside of the grip portion 2g. However, by temporarily supporting it with the temporary support portion 6cs, the upper end position of the washer 8 and the lower end position of the bent engagement portion 6c will be smaller than the inner diameter of the grip portion 2g, making it possible to accommodate (insert) it into the inside of the grip portion 2g, as shown in Figure 9.

[0039] Then, when the transmission rod 6 is further inserted into the grip portion 2g, the washer 8 comes into contact with the front end of the lever base 2m (step S4). That is, as shown in Figures 6 and 3, the grip portion 2g is configured in a circular pipe shape, and the lever base 2m located behind it is composed of two panel members 2mp, 2mq arranged in parallel, so that the washer 8 is restricted to the front end of the lever base 2m. At this time, if necessary, the rod main body portion 6m is rotated and displaced, and the rear end side of the bent engagement portion 6c is inserted into the gap between the panel members 2mp and 2mq.

[0040] As a result, the rear end portion of the bent engagement portion 6c is exposed rearward from the rear end opening of the grip portion 2g and becomes displaceable downward, so that the washer 8 is manipulated by engaging a rod-shaped jig 100 with the jig locking portion 11c formed on the washer 8 as shown in Fig. 10 (step S5). As a result, the washer 8 located at the temporary support portion 6cs can be easily and smoothly moved relatively toward the rod main body portion 6m (step S6).

[0041] After that, the rod body 6m is further pushed to a predetermined fixed position (steps S7 and S8). Then, as shown in Fig. 11, when the fixed position is reached, the locking claw plate 5 is inserted into the lever base 2m, and the notched recess 5s is engaged with the tip of the bent engagement portion 6c. Furthermore, the support shaft 13 is inserted into the mounting hole 2mh provided in the lever base 2m, and the locking claw plate 5 is rotatably mounted by the support shaft 5x inserted into the insertion hole provided in the middle position of the locking claw plate 5 (step S9).

[0042] Other necessary parts are assembled, and if there is a parking brake lever device 1 to be assembled next, it can be assembled in the same manner (steps S10, S11, S1 . . . ).

[0043] The parking brake lever device 1 according to this embodiment configured as described above functions as follows. The parking brake lever device 1 shown in solid lines in Fig. 1 shows a non-braking state. From this state, by gripping the grip portion 2g with one's hand and manually lifting it upward, it can be rotated to the position shown by the imaginary line, and by stopping it at a predetermined position (angle), the claw portion 5b of the locking claw plate 5 meshes with the corresponding engagement tooth 3b of the locking plate portion 3, entering a locked state and locking the position (angle). In other words, the braking state is locked.

[0044] In contrast, when the braking is locked, pressing the unlock button 4 causes the locking claw plate 5 to rotate and displace, and the claw portion 5b moves away from the engagement tooth 3b, thereby releasing the lock and allowing the parking brake lever device 1, which is in the position shown by the virtual line, to be returned to the position of the parking brake lever device 1 shown by the solid line.

[0045] Therefore, according to the parking brake lever device 1 of this embodiment, the parking brake lever device 1 has a specific structure as a basic configuration, that is, an operating lever portion 2 that is rotatably supported on the vehicle body B and has a pipe-shaped grip portion 2g at least on the turning side, a locking plate portion 3 that is fixed in position to the vehicle body B and has a plurality of engagement teeth 3b... arranged in the turning direction R of the operating lever portion 2, an unlocking button 4 disposed at the tip of the grip portion 2g, a locking claw plate 5 that is rotatably displaced integrally with the operating lever portion 2 and displaced in the engagement direction Fs relative to the engagement teeth 3b..., and a locking member 5 that is fixed in position to the vehicle body B and has ... Even in the parking brake lever device 1 having a rod main body 6m and a bent engagement portion 6c bent into an L shape with respect to the rod main body 6m, and a transmission rod 6 that transmits the displacement of the unlock button 4 toward the release side Fr to the locking claw plate 5 by inserting it into the inside of the grip portion 2g, and a spring 7 that biases the locking claw plate 5 in the engagement direction Fs, it is possible to eliminate defects that lead to increased costs and reduced ease of manufacture due to an increase in the number of parts and increased labor hours during manufacturing, and to select a grip portion 2g of an optimal thickness that is excellent in operability and ease of operation.

[0046] Although the preferred embodiment has been described in detail above, the present invention is not limited to such an embodiment, and the detailed configuration, shape, material, quantity, numerical values, etc. can be changed, added, or deleted as desired without departing from the gist of the present invention.

[0047] For example, the operating lever portion 2 is configured by a combination of the grip portion 2g and the lever base portion 2m, but the configuration may be such that only the grip portion 2g is used. The locking claw plate 5 is displaced in a rotating manner, but the configuration may be any other configuration as long as it has the same function, such as displacing in a sliding manner. The position of the spring 7 is not limited to the illustrated position, and the position and type of the spring 7 are not limited as long as it exhibits the same function. On the other hand, it is desirable that the cross-sectional shape of the transmission rod 6 is partially or entirely formed into a rectangular shape Cs, and that the shape of the insertion hole 8h is formed into a shape similar to the rectangular shape Cs, but basically, the rectangular shape Cs is synonymous with a non-circular shape. The example in which the jig locking portion 11c... formed in a concave shape is provided on the outer periphery 8f of the washer 8 is shown, but this does not exclude other forms having similar functions, such as providing a hole-shaped jig locking portion 11c... within the surface of the washer 8. Furthermore, it is preferable to provide the locking claw plate 5 with a notched recess 5s into which the tip of the bent engagement portion 6c is locked, but this is not intended to exclude other configurations having a similar function. [Industrial Applicability]

[0048] The parking brake lever device of the present invention can be used as a parking brake lever device in various vehicles, including a speed sprayer that is located to the side of the driver's seat and manually locks or unlocks the braking state when parking, etc. [Explanation of symbols]
