Abstract

To increase the accuracy of correcting the shape of a projection image.SOLUTION: A correction method includes: determining a normal vector of a screen surface; determining a first vector orthogonal to both a gravity vector and the normal vector that are determined from output of an acceleration sensor associated with a coordinate system of an optical device of a projector; determining a second vector orthogonal to the first vector on the screen surface; and determining a correction parameter for correcting the shape of a projection image to be projected on the screen surface on the basis of the first vector and the second vector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
