Abstract

To provide an information processing system, information processing method, and program, which allow for performing processing for making on-behalf-of payments of bills issued by sellers.SOLUTION: An information processing system disclosed herein provides a service that makes on-behalf-of payments of bills issued by sellers. The information processing system comprises a reception unit for receiving request information for on-behalf-of payment of bills issued by a seller by bank transfer from a bank of a buyer, and a processing unit for making on-behalf-of payment of the bills issued by the seller on the basis of the request information received by the reception unit, and requesting an amount incurred by making on-behalf-of payment by bank transfer to the buyer. When the billed amount is not transferred within a predetermined period, the processing unit obtains the amount from a payment service used by the buyer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
