Abstract

To provide an information processing system, information processing method, and program, which allow for performing processing for making on-behalf-of payments of bills issued by sellers.SOLUTION: An information processing system disclosed herein provides a service that makes on-behalf-of payments of bills issued by sellers. The information processing system comprises a first generation unit for generating first request information input screen information for inputting request information for credit card payment, an output unit for outputting the first request information input screen information, a reception unit for receiving first request information entered by a buyer on a first request information input screen, a determination unit for determining whether on-behalf-of payment by a credit card of the buyer is possible or not based on the first request information, and a second generation unit for generating error notification screen information, including selection buttons for selecting means of payment other than the credit card, when a credit card payment amount makes it impossible to proceed with on-behalf-of payment by the credit card.
