[0011] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0012] <Overall composition> FIG. 1 is a side view of a riding type rice transplanter with a fertilizer applicator, which is one embodiment of the riding type seedling transplanter of the present invention.
[0013] The riding rice transplanter 1 has a seedling planting unit 4 mounted on the rear of the running body 2 so that it can be raised and lowered via a lifting link device 3 that is raised and lowered by a lifting hydraulic cylinder 3a, the main body of the fertilizer application device 5 is provided on the upper rear side of the running body 2, and left and right spare seedling carriers 20, 20 are provided on both the left and right sides of the front of the running body 2 for carrying supplementary seedlings supported by a support frame 19.
[0014] In addition, the left and right directions in the forward direction of the riding rice transplanter 1 are referred to as left and right, respectively, and the forward and backward directions are referred to as front and rear, respectively.
[0015] <Running vehicle 2> The running body 2 is a four-wheel drive vehicle equipped with a pair of left and right front wheels 6,6 and a pair of left and right rear wheels 7,7 which are drive wheels, with a transmission case 8 arranged at the front of the body and front wheel final cases 9,9 provided on the left and right sides of the transmission case 8, and the left and right front wheels 6,6 are respectively attached to left and right front wheel axles which protrude outward from each front wheel support portion of the left and right front wheel final cases 9,9 which can change the steering direction.
[0016] In addition, the front end of the main frame 10 is fixed to the rear portion of the transmission case 8, and rear wheel gear cases 11, 11 are supported so as to be able to roll freely, with a rear wheel rolling axis set horizontally in the center of the left and right rear end of the main frame 10 as a fulcrum, and rear wheels 7, 7 are attached to the rear wheel axles that protrude outward from the rear wheel gear cases 11, 11.
[0017] The engine 12 is mounted at the front of the aircraft, and the rotational power of the engine 12 is transmitted to the transmission case 8 via a belt transmission device and an HST.
[0018] The rotational power transmitted to the transmission case 8 is changed in speed by the transmission inside the transmission case 8, and then separated into driving power and externally extracted power.
[0019] A part of the running power is transmitted to the front wheel final cases 9,9 to drive the front wheels 6,6, and the remainder is transmitted to the rear wheel gear cases 11,11 to drive the rear wheels 7,7.
[0020] In addition, the externally taken power is transmitted to a planting clutch case provided at the rear of the traveling body 2, and then transmitted to the seedling planting section 4 by a planting transmission shaft, and also transmitted to the fertilizer application device 5 by a fertilizer application transmission mechanism.
[0021] The rear of the vehicle body 2 is covered with a rear cover 13, on which a seat 14 is installed.
[0022] In front of the seat 14 is a front cover 15 incorporating various operating mechanisms, and above that is provided a handlebar 16 for steering the front wheels 6,6.
[0023] The left and right sides of the lower ends of the rear cover 13 and the front cover 15 form horizontal floor steps 17. Part of the floor step 17 is latticed so that mud on the shoes of an operator walking on the floor step 17 falls into the field. The rear part above the floor step 17 forms a rear step 18 that also serves as a rear wheel fender.
[0024] On both the left and right sides of the front of the traveling body 2, left and right spare seedling carriers 20, 20 are provided for carrying supplementary seedlings supported by left and right support frames 19 whose bases 19f are fixed to the machine frame.
[0025] <Seedling planting section 4> The seedling planting section 4 has an 8-row planting configuration and is equipped with a transmission case 30 which also serves as a frame, a seedling carrier 31 which carries mat seedlings and moves back and forth from side to side to supply seedlings one by one to the seedling outlet 31a of each row, and which transports the seedlings downward by a seedling feed belt which supplies all of the seedlings in a horizontal row to the seedling outlet 31a, and a seedling planting device 32 which plants the seedlings supplied to the seedling outlet 31a in the field.
[0026] A center float 33 is provided in the center of the lower part of the seedling planting section 4, inner side floats 34a on both the left and right sides of the center float 33, and outer side floats 34b on the outside of the center float 33. When the machine is advanced with these floats 33, 34a, 34b in contact with the muddy surface of the farm field, the floats 33, 34a, 34b slide along the muddy surface while leveling it, and the seedling planting device 32 plants seedlings in the leveled area.
[0027] Each float 33, 34a, 34b is attached so that it can rotate freely so that its front end moves up and down in response to the unevenness of the field topsoil surface. During planting work, the up and down movement of the front of the center float 33 is detected by an angle of attack control sensor. In response to the detection result, the hydraulic valve controlling the lifting hydraulic cylinder 3a is switched to raise and lower the seedling planting section 4, thereby maintaining the seedling planting depth constant at all times.
[0028] <Fertilizer 5> The fertilizer application device 5 delivers a fixed amount of granular fertilizer stored in a fertilizer hopper 40 using a delivery section 41, and guides the fertilizer via a fertilizer application hose 42 to fertilizer application guides 43 attached to the left and right sides of the floats 33, 34a, and 34b, and drops the fertilizer into a fertilization area formed near the side of the seedling planting row by a furrow making body 44 provided in front of the fertilizer application guide 43.
[0029] Air generated by a blower driven by an electric blower motor is blown into the fertilizer application hose 42 via an air chamber 46 that is long in the left-right direction, and the fertilizer in the fertilizer application hose 42 is forcibly transported by the wind pressure.
[0030] <20 spare seedling trays> Since the left and right spare seedling carriers 20, 20 have a symmetrical configuration, the left spare seedling carrier 20 will be described as a representative with reference to Figs. 1 to 6.
[0031] The spare seedling carrier 20 is supported by a support frame 19 having a base 19f fixed to the front frame of the traveling body 2.
[0032] The support frame 19 is composed of a fixed support frame 19a having a base 19f fixed to the front machine frame of the traveling body 2, and a rotating support frame 19c provided on the upper part thereof so as to be rotatable and fixed about a vertical pivot shaft 19b.
[0033] The spare seedling tray 20 is configured in three upper and lower tiers, consisting of a first seedling tray 20a on the top tier, a second seedling tray 20b on the middle tier, and a third seedling tray 20c on the bottom tier.
[0034] The central portions of a first moving link member 21a and a second moving link member 21b are supported rotatably by first front and rear pivot shafts 19d, 19e in the left-right direction of the machine body on the upper portion of the rotation support frame 19c.
[0035] A first seedling tray 20a is rotatably supported on one end of the first movable link member 21a and the second movable link member 21b by second front and rear pivot shafts 20a1, 20a2 in the left-right direction of the machine body.
[0036] A second seedling tray 20b is rotatably supported by front and rear third pivot shafts 20b1, 20b2 in the left-right direction of the machine body at a position slightly above the first front and rear first pivot shafts 19d, 19e in the center of the first movable link member 21a and the second movable link member 21b.
[0037] A third seedling tray 20c is rotatably supported on the other ends of the first movable link member 21a and the second movable link member 21b by front and rear fourth pivot shafts 20c1, 20c2 in the left-right direction of the machine body.
[0038] Therefore, by rotating the first movable link member 21a and the second movable link member 21b around the first front-to-rear pivot axes 19d, 19e, the shelves can be switched to a stacked state in which the first seedling tray 20a is arranged in the upper tier, the second seedling tray 20b is arranged in the middle tier, and the third seedling tray 20c is arranged in the lower tier, overall arranging them in three upper and lower tiers, or an unfolded state in which the first seedling tray 20a and the second seedling tray 20b move forward and the third seedling tray 20c moves backward, overall arranging the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b, and the third seedling tray 20c on the same plane that is elongated in the front-to-rear direction.
[0039] Moreover, the first, second and third spare seedling carriers 20a, 20b and 20c, each consisting of three upper and lower stages, can be switched to a single flat stage in the front and rear directions while the seedling boxes are still placed thereon.
[0040] In particular, the first seedling tray 20a is rotatably supported at one end of the first movable link member 21a and the second movable link member 21b by the front-rear second pivot axis 20a1, 20a2 in the left-right direction of the machine body, and the second seedling tray 20b is rotatably supported at a position slightly above the first front-rear first pivot axis 19d, 19e at the center of the first movable link member 21a and the second movable link member 21b by the front-rear third pivot axis 20b1, 20b2 in the left-right direction of the machine body, so that the two first seedling trays 20a and the second seedling tray 20b move toward the front of the machine body, and the third seedling tray 20c is rotatably supported at the other end of the first movable link member 21a and the second movable link member 21b by the front-rear fourth pivot axis 20c1, 20c2 in the left-right direction of the machine body, so that one third seedling tray 20c moves toward the rear of the machine body.
[0041] Furthermore, the front and rear first pivot axes 19d, 19e at the center of the first movable link member 21a and the second movable link member 21b are biased toward the other end from the center position, so that when the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c are switched from the stacked state to the unfolded state, the two first seedling trays 20a and the second seedling tray 20b move toward the front of the machine body by a large amount and the one third seedling tray 20c moves toward the rear of the machine body by a small amount, so that the center of gravity of the machine body moves forward, improving the running performance during rice transplanting work and enabling good rice transplanting work to be performed.
[0042] Next, a restricting structure for restricting the rotation of the first moving link member 21a to restrict the rotation of the first seedling table 20a, the second seedling table 20b and the third seedling table 20c will be described with reference to Figs.
[0043] A disk 22 is fixed to a bearing portion 21a1 of the first moving link member 21a, which receives the first front pivot shaft 19d that pivots at the center of the first moving link member 21a. The disk 22 is provided with a stacked state restriction hole 22a and an expanded state restriction hole 22b.
[0044] A pin support frame 23 having a concave shape when viewed from the front is provided on the upper part of the rotation support frame 19c of the support frame 19, and a locking pin 24 is provided in the concave part of the pin support frame 23 so as to be able to freely move forward and backward toward the first moving link member 21a.
[0045] The locking pin 24 is biased by a compression spring 24a disposed on the outer periphery thereof in a direction in which it fits into the stacked state restricting hole 22a and the deployed state restricting hole 22b.
[0046] The locking pin 24 is connected by a connecting pin 25b to an operating lever 25 as an operating tool whose concave base straddling the locking pin 24 is pivoted to the pin support frame 23 by a front-to-rear pivot axis 25a. By operating the operating lever 25 in the left-to-right direction, it can be freely operated in a direction to come out of the stacked state restricting hole 22a and the expanded state restricting hole 22b against the biasing force of the compression spring 24a.
[0047] Therefore, when the operating lever 25 is operated in a direction such that the locking pin 24 comes out of the stacked state control hole 22a and the unfolded state control hole 22b against the biasing force of the compression spring 24a, the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c are placed in a stacked state, and the operating lever 25 is released, the tip of the locking pin 24 fits into the stacked state control hole 22a by the biasing force of the compression spring 24a, and the stacked state of the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c is maintained.
[0048] Then, the operating lever 25 is operated in a direction in which the locking pin 24 comes out of the stacked state regulating hole 22a against the biasing force of the compression spring 24a, changing the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c from the stacked state to an unfolded state, and when the operating lever 25 is released, the tip of the locking pin 24 fits into the unfolded state regulating hole 22b due to the biasing force of the compression spring 24a, maintaining the unfolded state of the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c.
[0049] In addition, to switch the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b, and the third seedling tray 20c from a stacked state to an unfolded state or from an unfolded state to a stacked state, the worker grasps the gripping portion provided on the first seedling tray 20a or directly grasps the first seedling tray 20a.
[0050] 7 to 9 show another embodiment in which a second operating lever 26 is provided as another operating tool that enables an operator (worker) to operate the operating lever 25 while remaining seated in the seat 14. In the embodiment shown in FIG.
[0051] The second operating lever 26 has its middle portion pivoted to a vertical rotating support shaft 27 provided at the rear upper end of the rotating support frame 19c so as to be freely rotatable left and right, its tip is inserted into a through hole 25c serving as an engagement portion provided in the operating lever 25, and the grip portion 26a at the rear end is positioned so as to be operable by a pilot seated in the seat 14.
[0052] Therefore, when an operator seated on the seat 14 holds the grip portion 26a of the second operating lever 26 and operates it left and right, the operating lever 25 into which the tip of the second operating lever 26 is inserted is operated left and right. In other words, by operating the second operating lever 26, the operating lever 25 can be operated in a direction in which the locking pin 24 comes out and disengages from the stacked state regulating hole 22a and the unfolded state regulating hole 22b against the biasing force of the compression spring 24a, and the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c can be switched from the stacked state to the unfolded state or from the unfolded state to the stacked state.
[0053] 10 and 11 show another embodiment in which a third operating section 28 capable of operating the operating lever 25 is provided near the seat 14 or at the front end of the aircraft body.
[0054] The third operating unit 28 is configured by providing an operating grip portion 29d as another operating tool at one end of an inner wire on the first wire receiver 29a side of a connecting wire 29c having an outer wire between a first wire receiver 29a provided near the seat 14 or at the front end of the aircraft and a second wire receiver 29b provided at the upper end of the rotating support frame 19c, and connecting the other end of the inner wire of the connecting wire 29c to a through hole 25c provided in the operating lever 25.
[0055] Therefore, when a pilot seated in the seat 14 or an operator at the front end of the aircraft pulls the operating grip 29d of the third operating unit 28, the operating lever 25 to which the other end of the inner wire of the connecting wire 29c is connected can be operated in a direction in which the locking pin 24 comes out and disengages from the stacked state regulating hole 22a and the unfolded state regulating hole 22b against the biasing force of the compression spring 24a, and the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c can be switched from the stacked state to the unfolded state or from the unfolded state to the stacked state.
[0056] In addition, in the above embodiment, the tip of the locking pin 24 is inserted into the stacked state restriction hole 22a and the unfolded state restriction hole 22b to maintain the stacked state or the unfolded state, but the tip of the locking pin 24 may be knurled without opening holes in the stacked state restriction hole 22a and the unfolded state restriction hole 22b, and the knurled tip of the locking pin 24 may engage with the knurled portion of the disk 22 by the biasing force of the compression spring 24a to maintain the stacked state or the unfolded state.
[0057] <Another embodiment>
[0058] (1) Figures 12 and 13 show another embodiment in which the first movable link member 21a and the second movable link member 21b are rotated by an electric motor to switch the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c of the spare seedling tray 20 from a stacked state to an unfolded state or from the unfolded state to the stacked state.
[0059] As mentioned above, the spare seedling tray 20 is rotatably mounted on a rotating support frame 19c which is rotatably and fixedly mounted on a vertical pivot shaft 19b inserted into a vertical receiving hole 19g at the top of a fixed support frame 19a whose base 19f is fixed to the front machine frame of the running body 2. The first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c are freely switched from a stacked state to an unfolded state or from the unfolded state to a stacked state by the first movable link member 21a and the second movable link member 21b which are rotatably mounted on the rotating support frame 19c which is rotatably and fixedly mounted on a vertical pivot shaft 19b inserted into a vertical receiving hole 19g at the top of the fixed support frame 19a.
[0060] The rotating support frame 19c is provided with an electric motor that operates in forward and reverse directions by operating an operating switch, and the electric motor rotates the first movable link member 21a and the second movable link member 21b to switch the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c from a stacked state to an unfolded state or from the unfolded state to the stacked state.
[0061] When the operating switch is operated to the deployed position, the state changes from the stacked state to the deployed state, and when the operating switch is operated to the stacked position, the state changes from the unfolded state to the stacked state.
[0062] The rotating support frame 19c can be freely rotated and fixed by a vertical pivot axis 19b inserted into a vertical receiving hole 19g on the upper part of the fixed support frame 19a, and the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c can be switched between a working position located outside the body of the machine and a storage position located inside the body of the machine.
[0063] A limit switch 50 is provided on the upper part of the fixed support frame 19a, which is turned ON when the rotating support frame 19c is located in the working position where the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c are located outside the body of the machine.
[0064] The control device 51 provided in the front cover 15 allows the operation of the electric motor to rotate the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c from the stacked state to the unfolded state only when the limit switch 50 is ON when the rotating support frame 19c is located in the working position where the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c are located outside the body of the machine.
[0065] In other words, when the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c are in the working position located outside the body of the machine, the limit switch 50 turns ON, and by operating the operating switch to the deployed position, the electric motor is activated to switch from the stacked state to the deployed state.
[0066] Therefore, when the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c are switched from the stacked state to the spread out state, they can be prevented from coming into contact with or interfering with other objects and being damaged.
[0067] In addition, when the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c are in an unfolded state by operating the operating switch to the unfolded position, and the rotating support frame 19c is rotated and the limit switch 50 is turned OFF (when the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c rotate from the working position located on the outside of the body of the machine to the storage position inside the body of the machine), the control device 51 sounds a warning sound (buzzer or audio alarm) and displays a warning on the monitor, and operates the electric motor to switch the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c from the unfolded state to the stacked state.
[0068] Therefore, the first seedling tray 20a, the second seedling tray 20b and the third seedling tray 20c can be prevented from being switched to the storage position inside the machine while remaining in the unfolded state, and damage due to contact with or interference with other objects can be avoided.
[0069] In addition, when the limit switch 50 on one of the left and right spare seedling carriers 20 is ON and the limit switch 50 on the other is OFF, only the side with the limit switch 50 ON can be changed from the stacked state to the unfolded state by operating the operating switch to the unfolded position, or both sides can be changed from the stacked state to the unfolded state by operating the operating switch to the unfolded position, but a warning sound (buzzer or audio alarm) will be sounded and a warning will be displayed on the monitor to let the operator know that an abnormal operation has occurred and to urge them to stop the operation and prevent damage.
[0070] (2) FIGS. 14 to 16 show another embodiment in which the left and right spare seedling carriers 20 are provided with empty box storage frames 60 for storing empty boxes.
[0071] An empty box storage frame 60 made of rods is fixed to the top of a frame support 61 whose base is welded to the first seedling tray 20a, which is the topmost tray when the left and right spare seedling trays 20 are stacked.
[0072] The empty box storage frame 60 can store a plurality of empty seedling boxes N and seedling removal boards 62 horizontally.
[0073] As shown in Figure 16, only one side of the base of the frame support 61 made of stainless steel pipe material is welded so that it protrudes from the frame 20a' of the first seedling tray 20a, and the internal cavity of the frame support 61 made of pipe material protrudes from the frame 20a'.
[0074] Therefore, water etc. flows down from the portion of the base of the frame support 61 made of pipe material that protrudes from the frame 20a', so that water etc. can be prevented from accumulating inside. [Explanation of symbols]
