Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a damper with a torque limiter. [Background technology]
[0002] Patent document 1 describes a damper with a torque limiter (called a torque fluctuation absorbing device in Patent document 1) that has a limiter section on the outer periphery, a hysteresis section on the inner periphery, and a damper section located radially midway between the two.
[0003] In this patent document 1, the limiter portion includes a pair of plates fixed to the outer periphery of a flywheel that rotates by the driving force of the engine, and a pair of friction materials, a disc spring, a pusher plate, and a lining plate sandwiched on the inner periphery of the pair of plates.
[0004] This torque limiter-equipped damper is supported by having a lining plate sandwiched between the outer periphery of a pair of side plates connected to the damper portion and fixed with rivets. The torque limiter also has a hub member into which the transmission-side rotating shaft fits, and the hub member has a flange portion.
[0005] In this damper with torque limiter, the damper portion has a coil spring with seat members at both ends, and the seat members are fitted into windows in a pair of side plates and into windows formed in a flange portion of a hub member. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0006] [Patent Document 1] JP 2010-230162 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0007] The damper with a torque limiter described in Patent Document 1 limits the transmission of excessive load torque by causing a pair of friction materials in the limiter section and a lining plate to rotate relatively in response to fluctuations in load torque between the engine-side rotating shaft and the transmission-side rotating shaft. In addition, this damper with a torque limiter absorbs fluctuations in load torque by applying a compressive force to a coil spring via a seat member when the side plate and the hub member rotate relatively in response to fluctuations in load torque.
[0008] However, in the damper with torque limiter described in Patent Document 1, the limiter portion and the damper portion are independent components, which leads to an increase in the number of parts and an increase in the cost associated with assembly.
[0009] For these reasons, there is a demand for a damper with a torque limiter that can be assembled at low cost by reducing the number of parts. [Means for solving the problem]
[0010] The configuration of the damper with a torque limiter of the present invention is a damper with a torque limiter that limits the transmission of driving force of an internal combustion engine of a vehicle to a driving transmission device of the vehicle when a load torque acting from the internal combustion engine of the vehicle on the driving transmission device exceeds a threshold value, and comprises a pair of side plates arranged separately in the axial direction of an input shaft of the driving transmission device, a friction-type limiter section that is housed in a space between the pair of side plates on the radial outside of the pair of side plates and slips when the load torque exceeds the threshold value, and a damper section that is arranged in a region of the pair of side plates closer to the axial center than the limiter section and absorbs the transmission of the driving force by elastic deformation of a spring as the load torque increases, and the pair of side plates have contact sections where opposing opposing surfaces are in contact with each other at a midpoint between the limiter section and the damper section in the radial direction.
[0011] For example, it is conceivable to construct a damper with a torque limiter by assembling the limiter portion and the damper portion separately and integrating them using a connecting member such as a plate material or a rod-shaped material. However, such a configuration using a connecting member may increase the number of parts and the assembly process. In contrast, according to the present configuration, the limiter portion is accommodated on the radially outer side of the pair of side plates, and the damper portion is disposed on the radially inner side of the limiter portion of the pair of side plates, so that no connecting member is required and no process for connection is required. In addition, by forming a contact portion in which the opposing surfaces of the pair of side plates are in contact with each other at a radially intermediate position between the limiter portion and the damper portion, it is possible to suppress the inconvenience of the gap between the pair of side plates being excessively narrow. In particular, in this configuration, since the pair of side plates are provided with the limiter portion and the damper portion, a dedicated configuration for transmitting torque to the limiter portion and the damper portion is not required. Therefore, a damper with a torque limiter that can be assembled at low cost with a reduced number of parts is constructed. [Brief description of the drawings]

[0013] Hereinafter, an embodiment of a damper with a torque limiter according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In this embodiment, as an example of a damper with a torque limiter A, a limiter section T and a damper section D are arranged at the positions shown in Fig. 1, and the configuration and positional relationship between them are not limited to the following embodiment, and various modifications are possible without departing from the scope of the invention.
[0014] [Basic configuration] As shown in Figures 1 to 3, the damper A with a torque limiter is disposed in a transmission path that transmits the driving force of a flywheel 1 (one example of a driving rotor) that rotates integrally with the crankshaft of a vehicle engine (internal combustion engine, not shown) to an input shaft 2 of a travel transmission device TM such as a vehicle transmission. This damper A with a torque limiter is not limited to a driving rotor that is a flywheel 1, and may also be used for a drive rotor to which driving force is transmitted from a fly mass. The engine uses gasoline, hydrogen gas, or the like as fuel to rotate the crankshaft.
[0015] The torque limiter damper A protects the driving transmission device TM by limiting the transmission of load torque when a high load torque acts on the driving transmission device TM from the engine, such as immediately after the engine is started. Also, when a high load torque acts on the driving transmission device TM from the tires, such as when the vehicle is traveling on a rough road, the torque limiter damper A protects the driving transmission device TM by limiting the transmission of load torque.
[0016] The damper A with torque limiter can be installed not only in hybrid vehicles (HVs) that transmit the driving force of the engine and the driving force of the traction motor to the traction transmission device TM, but also in non-hybrid vehicles that do not use a traction motor.
[0017] [Side plate] 1 to 3, the damper A with a torque limiter has a hub 3 into which an input shaft 2 of a travel transmission device TM is fitted. The damper A with a torque limiter has a pair of side plates P, a first side plate 11 and a second side plate 12, which are arranged separately in a direction along an axis X (which coincides with the axis of the input shaft 2) that is the rotation center of the hub 3.
[0018] The first side plate 11 and the second side plate 12 are examples of side plates P, and the one positioned close to the flywheel 1 is referred to as the first side plate 11, and the one positioned close to the travel transmission device TM is referred to as the second side plate 12.
[0019] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the first side plate 11 and the second side plate 12 are disk-shaped and centered on the axis X. A hole is formed in the center of the first side plate 11 and the second side plate 12, and the hub 3 is housed in the hole.
[0020] The damper A with torque limiter has a limiter portion T arranged on the outer periphery of the side plate P, multiple damper portions D (four in this embodiment) arranged at a position closer to the axis X than the limiter portion T, and a hysteresis portion H arranged on the outer periphery of the hub 3, which is on the inner periphery side of the damper portions D.
[0021] Furthermore, the torque limiter damper A forms a plurality of (four in this embodiment) contact portions C between the limiter portion T and the damper portion D in the radial direction of the pair of side plates P (first side plate 11 and second side plate 12). Rivets 6 are inserted into the plurality of contact portions C in a direction parallel to the axis X, and the pair of side plates P are connected by the rivets 6 at the positions of the plurality of contact portions C.
[0022] [Limiter section] 1 to 3, the limiter portion T is accommodated in an outer circumferential space S1 formed between the first side plate 11 and the second side plate 12 on the outer circumferential side of the first side plate 11 and the second side plate 12. The outer circumferential space S1 is an example of a space formed between the pair of side plates P on the radially outer side of the pair of side plates P.
[0023] The limiter section T includes a lining plate 14 made of an annular plate material fixed to the flywheel 1, a first friction material 15 arranged at a position where it contacts the lining plate 14, a pressure plate 17 engaging with the first friction material 15, a disc spring 18 (an example of a biasing member) that applies contact pressure to the pressure plate 17, and a second friction material 19 supported on the outer periphery of the second side plate 12 and in contact with the lining plate 14. These are accommodated in the outer periphery side space S1. In particular, the first friction material 15, the pressure plate 17, the disc spring 18, and the second friction material 19 that apply a frictional force to the lining plate 14 are sometimes referred to as a friction action mechanism F.
[0024] The inner periphery of the lining plate 14 is sandwiched between the first friction material 15 and the second friction material 19. The lining plate 14 is integrally formed with a plate-shaped connecting portion 14P on the outer periphery. This connecting portion 14P is an area for connecting to the flywheel 1, and has an abutment surface 14S that abuts against the connected surface of the flywheel 1.
[0025] With this configuration, the lining plate 14 is connected and fixed to the flywheel 1 by abutting the abutment surface 14S of the connecting portion 14P against the connected surface of the flywheel 1, inserting multiple connecting bolts 16 into multiple holes in the connecting portion 14P, and fastening them.
[0026] In particular, in the torque limiter damper A, a front / back identification index G is formed on the connecting portion 14P of the lining plate 14 to prevent mistakes in the front / back of the contact surface 14S of the connecting portion 14P when the connecting portion 14P is connected and fixed to the flywheel 1.
[0027] 2 and 4, the front / back identification index G is formed by pressing the contact surface 14S of the connecting part 14P into a circular concave shape, and the opposite side of the contact surface 14S into a circular convex shape. The convex portion of the front / back identification index G is formed at a position that will come into contact with the connected surface of the flywheel 1 if the connecting part 14P is assembled with the front and back reversed.
[0028] As a result, if the connecting part 14P is assembled with the wrong front and back when connecting the lining plate 14 to the flywheel 1, the convex part of the front and back identification indicator G will come into contact with the connected surface of the flywheel 1, causing the connecting part 14P to float above the connected surface of the flywheel 1, making it possible to recognize the assembly error.
[0029] The coned disc spring 18 is formed of an annular spring plate material centered on the axis X, and the entire outer circumference or a partial area in the circumferential direction of the coned disc spring 18 abuts against the inner surface of the first side plate 11, and the entire inner circumference or a partial area in the circumferential direction of the coned disc spring 18 abuts against the pressure plate 17. This causes the biasing force of the coned disc spring 18 to act on the first friction material 15.
[0030] 3 and 4, a portion of the pressure plate 17 engages with the second side plate 12, and the engagement protrusion 17a engages with a hole in the second side plate 12, thereby preventing the first friction material 15 from rotating and positioning it in the radial direction. Furthermore, the first friction material 15 is prevented from rotating and positioned in the radial direction by a protrusion 17T formed on the pressure plate 17 engaging with a hole formed in the first friction material 15. Moreover, the second friction material 19 is prevented from rotating and positioned in the radial direction by a protrusion 12T formed on the second side plate 12 engaging with a hole formed in the second friction material 19.
[0031] When the load torque is less than a threshold value, the limiter portion T maintains the first friction material 15 and the lining plate 14 in a pressed state, and also maintains the second friction material 19 and the lining plate 14 in a pressed state, thereby rotating the flywheel 1 and the pair of side plates P together.
[0032] In response to this, as shown in FIG. 2, when the load torque exceeds a threshold value, the limiter section T generates a slip on the friction force acting surface R between the first friction material 15 and the lining plate 14, and also generates a slip on the friction force acting surface R between the second friction material 19 and the lining plate 14, thereby limiting the increase in the load torque and eliminating the inconvenience of an excessive load torque acting between the flywheel 1 and the traveling transmission device TM.
[0033] [Contact part] 1 to 4, the damper A with torque limiter has a plurality of contact parts C (four in this embodiment) formed at positions offset from the limiter part T to the axis X in the radial direction of the side plate P. These contact parts C are disposed radially outward from the damper part D and are disposed at positions overlapping imaginary lines (not shown) extending radially so as to divide the axis X into a plurality of parts in the circumferential direction at equal radial intervals.
[0034] As a specific structure, the first side plate 11 is formed with a first bulging wall 11c bulging toward the second side plate 12. Similarly, the second side plate 12 has a second bulging wall 12c bulging toward the first side plate 11. The first bulging wall 11c and the second bulging wall 12c form a contact portion C.
[0035] The contact portion C has a plurality of through holes 13 formed in a contact wall (an example of an opposing surface) at the bulging end of the first bulging wall 11c and a contact wall (an example of an opposing surface) at the bulging end of the second bulging wall 12c.
[0036] With this configuration, in the torque limiter-equipped damper A, the contact wall of the first bulging wall 11c and the contact wall of the second bulging wall 12c are brought into contact with each other, and the first side plate 11 and the second side plate 12 are connected and fixed by the rivets 6 inserted into any or all of the multiple through holes 13. As a result, the distance (spacing) between the pair of side plates P in the direction along the axis X is maintained.
[0037] The hub 3 has a flange body 4 which rotates integrally with the hub 3. As shown in Fig. 5, a contact portion C formed by the first bulging wall 11c and the second bulging wall 12c functions as a stopper that regulates the displacement of the flange body 4 by abutting against the restricting protrusion 4a formed on the flange body 4. In other words, the restricting protrusion 4a regulates the displacement of the flange body 4 by abutting against one or both of the first bulging wall 11c and the second bulging wall 12c.
[0038] [Damper section] 1 to 4, the damper portions D are disposed at positions closer to the axis X than the contact portions C. In other words, as described above, the damper portions D and the contact portions C are disposed at positions overlapping imaginary lines extending radially so as to divide the axis X into a plurality of portions in the circumferential direction (in this embodiment, the damper portions D and the contact portions C are disposed at positions overlapping imaginary lines extending radially).
[0039] The damper section D includes a compression coil type damper spring 21 (an example of a spring), a spring sheet 22 supporting both ends of the damper spring 21, and a cushion material 23 accommodated in the coil section of the damper spring 21.
[0040] In the following description, the damper spring 21, the pair of spring seats 22, and the cushion material 23 may be referred to as the damper unit DU. The cushion material 23 is made of a flexibly deformable buffer material such as rubber or resin. The cushion material 23 reduces the impact when the damper section D is activated by deforming when the pair of spring seats 22 approach each other and are sandwiched between the pair of spring seats 22.
[0041] Incidentally, in this torque limiter-equipped damper A, two of the damper springs 21 are provided with the cushion materials 23, but all or any number of the damper springs 21 may be provided with the cushion materials 23.
[0042] Each of the first side plate 11 and the second side plate 12 has a damper opening PW at a position offset to the axis X with respect to a plurality of contact portions C (four in this embodiment).
[0043] The hub 3 has a flange body 4 which rotates integrally with the hub 3. The flange body 4 has a damper engagement space 4W formed by cutting out the outer periphery, and has a restricting protrusion 4a which protrudes radially outward from the damper engagement space 4W.
[0044] As shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the damper portion D has a damper unit DU fitted into a plurality of damper openings PW of the first side plate 11 and the second side plate 12 and a plurality of damper engagement spaces 4W of the flange body 4.
[0045] The damper portion D functions to apply the biasing force of the damper spring 21 in the circumferential direction between the flange body 4, which rotates integrally with the hub 3, and a pair of side plates P, thereby maintaining the relative rotational posture of the flange body 4 and the pair of side plates P centered on the axis X.
[0046] As a result, when the load torque acting between the pair of side plates P and the hub 3 is low, the damper section D maintains the relative rotational phase between the pair of side plates P and the flange body 4 in the neutral phase shown in Fig. 4 due to the biasing force of the damper spring 21. On the other hand, when the load torque exceeds a preset value, the damper section D absorbs the increase in load torque by compressing the damper spring 21 as shown in Fig. 5 and relatively displacing the flange body 4 and the pair of side plates P centered on the axis X, thereby eliminating the inconvenience of excessive load torque acting from the pair of side plates P to the hub 3.
[0047] Furthermore, when the load torque increases in this manner, as described above, the limit of the relative displacement between the pair of side plates P and the flange body 4 is determined by the contact of the regulating protrusion 4a of the flange body 4 with the contact portion C.
[0048] In addition, in the torque limiter damper A, when the damper spring 21 of the damper unit DU is compressed as the load torque increases and the pair of side plates P and the hub 3 are displaced, the pair of side plates P and the flange body 4 are displaced relative to each other in the hysteresis section H.
[0049] [Hysteresis section] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the flange body 4 is fitted into a gear-shaped fitting portion on the outer periphery of the hub 3, and rotates integrally with the hub 3.
[0050] The hysteresis portion H includes a first cylindrical portion 25, a first friction ring 26, a second cylindrical portion 27, a second friction ring 28, and an annular spring 29.
[0051] The first cylindrical portion 25 is rotatably fitted onto the outer periphery of the hub 3 on the side where the first side plate 11 is arranged, and the inner periphery of the first side plate 11 comes into contact with this outer periphery.
[0052] The first friction ring 26 is disposed between the flange body 4 and the first side plate 11. The first friction ring 26 has a plurality of first engagement protrusions 26a on its outer surface engaged with engagement portions of the first side plate 11, and has a friction surface in contact with the flange body 4.
[0053] The second cylindrical portion 27 is rotatably fitted onto the outer periphery of the hub 3 on the side where the second side plate 12 is arranged, and the inner periphery of the second side plate 12 comes into contact with this outer periphery.
[0054] The second friction ring 28 is disposed between the flange body 4 and the second side plate 12. The second friction ring 28 has a plurality of second engagement protrusions 28a on its outer surface engaged with engagement portions of the second side plate 12, and the friction surface is in contact with the flange body 4.
[0055] The annular spring 29 is configured as an annular disc spring centered on the axis X, and is disposed at a position sandwiched between the second side plate 12 and the second friction ring .
[0056] As a result, when the damper portion D allows relative displacement in the rotational direction between the pair of side plates P and the flange body 4, the hysteresis portion H allows relative rotation between the pair of side plates P and the flange body 4 while maintaining the condition in which frictional force is applied to the flange body 4 from the first friction ring 26 and the second friction ring 28.
[0057] This hysteresis portion H applies an appropriate frictional force between the pair of side plates P and the flange body 4 when the pair of side plates P and the flange body 4 are displaced relative to each other in the rotational direction as the load torque increases. Also, when the load torque decreases and the pair of side plates P and the flange body 4 return to the neutral position due to the biasing force of the damper spring 21 of the damper unit DU, an appropriate frictional force acts between the pair of side plates P and the flange body 4.
[0058] [Load torque limit operation] When the load torque is low, the torque limiter damper A restricts slippage of the lining plate 14 relative to the first friction material 15 and the second friction material 19 at the limiter portion T. Similarly, when the load torque is low, the damper portion D prevents relative displacement between the pair of side plates P and the flange body 4 by the biasing force of the four damper springs 21.
[0059] In contrast, when the load torque exceeds a threshold value, the damper A with torque limiter allows slippage at the limiter section T and allows compression of the damper spring 21 at the damper section D, thereby causing relative displacement between the pair of side plates P and the flange body 4 about the axis X, thereby limiting the effect of excessive load torque on the traveling transmission device TM and the engine.
[0060] After absorbing the load torque acting on the engine due to the relative displacement between the pair of side plates P and the flange body 4 about the axis X, the damper section D returns the relative phase between the pair of side plates P and the flange body 4 to the neutral phase shown in Fig. 4 due to the biasing force of the damper spring 21 as the load torque decreases. At this time, the hysteresis section H applies a frictional force to suppress a sudden return.
[0061] [Effects of the embodiment] The torque limiter damper A has a limiter portion T arranged on the outer periphery of a pair of side plates P (first side plate 11, second side plate 12), and a damper portion D arranged closer to the center of the side plates P than the limiter portion T.
[0062] This configuration does not require connecting members, etc., and eliminates the need for a process of connecting frames, compared to, for example, assembling the limiter portion and the damper portion separately and then integrating them using connecting members such as plate or rod-shaped members to form a damper with a torque limiter.
[0063] The torque limiter damper A fixes a pair of side plates P with rivets 6 so that multiple contact points C are in contact with each other, thereby preventing the gap between the pair of side plates P from widening even after long-term use, and the gap between the pair of side plates P does not widen in the outer peripheral space S1 area.
[0064] The limiter portion T has a disc spring 18 disposed between the first side plate 11 and the pressure plate 17, so that a biasing force acts from the pressure plate 17 to the first friction material 15, causing the first friction material 15 to contact the lining plate 14 with a set contact pressure. The limiter portion T also causes the second friction material 19 to contact the lining plate 14.
[0065] When the distance between the first side plate 11 and the second side plate 12 is increased, the limiter portion T may cause a disadvantage in that it reduces the frictional force of the frictional force acting surface R between the first friction material 15 and the second friction material 19, and the frictional force of the frictional force acting surface R between the lining plate 14.
[0066] In response to this, the first bulging walls 11c and the second bulging walls 12c of the multiple contact portions C are connected with the rivets 6 to restrict the increase in the gap between the pair of side plates P. This prevents the frictional force at the limiter portion T from decreasing, and allows the side plates to slip appropriately when a load torque exceeding a set value is applied.
[0067] The proper assembly state of the torque limiter-equipped damper A is when the abutment surface 14S of the connecting portion 14P of the lining plate 14 abuts against the connected surface of the flywheel 1 and is connected by a plurality of connecting bolts 16. However, it is possible that the damper A may be assembled in a state where the surface opposite to the abutment surface 14S of the connecting portion 14P is erroneously abutted against the flywheel 1.
[0068] In order to prevent such incorrect assembly, a convex front / back identification indicator G is formed on the surface opposite the abutment surface 14S by pressing the connecting part 14P. This allows the abutment surface 14S of the connecting part 14P to be properly determined by sight and by the sense of touch of the fingers. In addition, if an incorrect assembly is made, the convex part of the front / back identification indicator G comes into contact with the connected surface of the flywheel 1, causing the connecting part 14P to float above the connected surface of the flywheel 1, allowing the error to be recognized and the incorrect assembly to be prevented.
[0069] In the damper portion D, the biasing force of the damper spring 21 always acts on the first side plate 11 and the second side plate 12, which may cause deformation of these plates in the vicinity of the damper opening PW.
[0070] In response to this, the contact portions C are disposed in the vicinity of the four damper openings PW and fixed by the rivets 6, so that deformation of the damper openings PW is suppressed.
[0071] Furthermore, the rivet 6 used in the contact portion C can be inserted through a selection of multiple through holes 13, and by selecting the through hole 13 through which the rivet 6 is inserted, it is also possible to improve the rotational balance of the damper A with torque limiter.
[0072] [Another embodiment] The present invention may be configured as follows other than the above-described embodiment (common numbers and symbols as in the embodiment are used to designate components having the same functions as in the embodiment).
[0073] (a) The front / back identification indicator G is not limited to a circular concave and convex shape formed on the connecting portion 14P of the lining plate 14 as shown in the embodiment, but may be formed in any shape, such as an oval or a rectangle. Also, the front / back identification indicator G is not limited to a single one, but may be formed in multiple numbers.
[0074] (b) As shown in Figures 6 and 7, the front / back identification indicator G may be formed by bending part of the outer periphery of the connecting portion 14P in the opposite direction to the connected surface of the flywheel 1, and providing a notch. By forming the front / back identification indicator G in this way, if an incorrect assembly is made, the protruding end of the front / back identification indicator G will come into contact with the connected surface of the flywheel 1, making it possible to quickly recognize the error.
[0075] 8, the first friction material 15 and the second friction material 19 are disposed at positions sandwiching the lining plate 14, and the first friction material 15, the second friction material 19 and the lining plate 14 are connected by a fastening member 20 penetrating these, thereby forming a friction action mechanism F of the limiter part T. Although one fastening member 20 is shown in FIG. 8, this friction action mechanism F uses a plurality of fastening members 20 disposed on the same or different pitch circumferences along the circumferential direction of the lining plate 14.
[0076] This friction action mechanism F is basically composed of parts common to the limiter portion T described in the embodiment, but the friction force action surface R that applies the friction force is different from that described in the embodiment. In other words, it is composed of the contact surface between the first friction material 15 and the pressure plate 17, and the contact surface between the second friction material 19 and the second side plate 12.
[0077] The limiter portion T of this alternative embodiment (c) limits an increase in the load torque by generating slippage between the friction force acting surface R between the first friction material 15 and the pressure plate 17 and the friction force acting surface R between the second friction material 19 and the second side plate 12 when the load torque exceeds a threshold value.
[0078] (d) In the friction action mechanism F shown in Figs. 9 and 10, the first friction material 15 and the second friction material 19 are disposed at positions sandwiching the lining plate 14, as in the alternative embodiment (a) described above, and are fixed to the lining plate 14, respectively. However, the configuration for fixing the first friction material 15 and the second friction material 19 to the lining plate 14 differs from that of the alternative embodiment (c).
[0079] The limiter portion T of this alternative embodiment (d) is different in that, as shown in FIG. 9, a plurality of fastening members 20 fasten the first friction material 15 to the lining plate 14, and as shown in FIG. 10, a plurality of fastening members 20 fasten the second friction material 19 to the lining plate 14.
[0080] 11, a protrusion 17T formed on a pressure plate 17 engages with a hole formed in the first friction material 15 to prevent rotation and to position the first friction material 15 in the radial direction, as in the embodiment. On the other hand, a second friction material 19 is fastened and fixed to the lining plate 14 by a fastening member 20.
[0081] With this configuration, the friction force acting surface R on which the friction force acts is composed of the contact surface between the first friction material 15 and the lining plate 14, and the contact surface between the second friction material 19 and the second side plate 12. In this alternative embodiment (e), the pressure plate 17 and the first friction material 15 may be fastened and fixed together using rivets, screws, or the like.
[0082] 12, similarly to the embodiment, the second friction material 19 is prevented from rotating and positioned in the radial direction by a protrusion 12T formed on the second side plate 12 engaging with a hole formed in the second friction material 19. Meanwhile, the lining plate 14 and the second friction material 19 are connected by a fastening member 20 that penetrates therethrough.
[0083] With this configuration, the friction force acting surface R on which the friction force acts is composed of the contact surface between the first friction material 15 and the pressure plate 17, and the contact surface between the second friction material 19 and the lining plate 14. In this alternative embodiment (f), the second friction material 19 and the second side plate 12 may be fastened and fixed together using rivets, screws, or the like.
[0084] (g) The traveling transmission device TM is not limited to a gear-type transmission, but may include a device having a torque converter or a device having a belt CVT.
[0085] (h) In the limiter portion T, a leaf spring or a torsion spring may be used as the biasing member that applies the frictional force.
[0086] (i) The number of contact parts C is not limited to four, and may be any number. In other words, the contact parts C are configured to bulge over the entire circumference (360-degree area) of the pair of side plates P (first side plate 11, second side plate 12). Alternatively, the number is set to three or less or five or more.
[0087] (j) The spacing between the pair of side plates P (first side plate 11, second side plate 12) is set to different values outside and inside contact portion C. By setting the spacing in this manner, it is possible to easily obtain a spacing that corresponds to the sizes of limiter portion T and damper portion D.
[0088] Furthermore, the configurations disclosed in the above embodiments (including other embodiments, the same applies below) can be applied in combination with configurations disclosed in other embodiments, provided that no contradiction arises. Furthermore, the embodiments disclosed in this specification are merely examples, and the embodiments of the present invention are not limited thereto, and can be appropriately modified within the scope that does not deviate from the purpose of the present invention.
[0089] In the above-described embodiment, the following configurations are envisaged. (1) A damper A with a torque limiter that limits the transmission of driving force of the internal combustion engine to the driving transmission device TM when the load torque acting on the driving transmission device TM from the internal combustion engine of the vehicle exceeds a threshold value, the damper A comprising: a pair of side plates P arranged separately in a direction along an axis X of an input shaft 2 of the driving transmission device TM; a friction-type limiter portion T that is accommodated in a space S1 between the pair of side plates P on the radial outside of the pair of side plates P and slips when the load torque exceeds the threshold value; and a damper portion D that is arranged in an area of the pair of side plates P closer to the axis X than the limiter portion T and absorbs the transmission of the driving force by elastic deformation of a spring (damper spring 21) as the load torque increases, the pair of side plates P having contact portions C in which opposing opposing surfaces are in contact with each other at a radial midpoint between the limiter portion T and the damper portion D.
[0090] For example, it is conceivable to construct a damper with a torque limiter by assembling the limiter portion and the damper portion separately and integrating them using a connecting member such as a plate material or a rod-shaped material. However, such a configuration using a connecting member may increase the number of parts and increase the number of assembly steps. In contrast, in this configuration, the limiter portion T is accommodated on the radial outside of the pair of side plates P, and the damper portion D is disposed on the radial inside of the limiter portion T of the pair of side plates P, so that no connecting member is required and no connecting step is required. In addition, by forming a contact portion C in which the opposing surfaces of the pair of side plates P at the radial intermediate position between the limiter portion T and the damper portion D are in contact with each other, the inconvenience of the gap between the pair of side plates P becoming excessively narrow can be suppressed. In particular, in this configuration, the pair of side plates P are provided with the limiter portion T and the damper portion D, so that a dedicated configuration for transmitting torque to the limiter portion T and the damper portion D is not required.
[0091] (2) In the torque limiter-equipped damper A of (1), it is preferable that the contact portion C has opposing faces at the middle position connected by a rivet 6.
[0092] According to this configuration, the rivet 6 restricts the displacement of the pair of side plates P in the direction separating them, so that even if a force acts at the limiter portion T in a direction that increases the spacing between the pair of side plates P, the spacing between the pair of side plates P will not increase.
[0093] (3) In the damper A with a torque limiter of (1) or (2), it is preferable that the limiter portion T has an annular lining plate 14 fixed to a driving rotor (flywheel 1) to which the driving force of the internal combustion engine is transmitted and rotatable around an axis X, friction materials 15, 19 arranged between each of a pair of side plates P and the lining plate 14 and fixed to one of the side plate P or the lining plate 14, a biasing member (disc spring 18) that brings the friction materials 15, 19 into contact with the other of the side plate P or the lining plate 14, and a pressure plate 17 arranged between the biasing member (disc spring 18) and one of the friction materials 15.
[0094] According to this configuration, the biasing force of the biasing member (disc spring 18) is transmitted from the pressure plate 17 to the friction material 15, thereby bringing the friction material 15 into contact with the pressure plate 17 at a set contact pressure, thereby obtaining the required frictional force. Furthermore, since a space S1 that opens outward is formed at the radial outer periphery of the pair of side plates P, when assembling the damper A with a torque limiter, the friction material 15, the pressure plate 17, and the biasing member (disc spring 18) can be easily accommodated in this space S1, and maintenance of the components of the limiter section T can also be easily performed.
[0095] In the torque limiter-equipped damper A of (4)(3), the lining plate 14 has a plate-shaped connecting portion 14P on its outer periphery for connecting to the driving rotor (flywheel 1), and it is preferable that the connecting portion 14P is formed with a front / back identification indicator G indicating the contact surface 14S when connecting to the driving rotor (flywheel 1).
[0096] With this configuration, when connecting and fixing the connecting portion 14P on the outer periphery of the lining plate 14 to the driving rotor (flywheel 1), it is possible to confirm the front and back of the connecting portion 14P by visually checking the front and back identification indicator G or by touching it with a finger, thereby preventing incorrect installation of the damper A with torque limiter to the driving rotor (flywheel 1). [Industrial Applicability]
[0097] The present invention can be used in a damper with a torque limiter. [Explanation of symbols]
