Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a skin cosmetic.

Background Art

[0002] Hydrolyzed collagen is known to be excellent in imparting moisture retention to the skin and hair, and also has a high protective effect on the skin and hair, and is widely used in cosmetics and the like. However, hydrolyzed collagen emits an unpleasant odor over time.

[0003] In order to suppress the unpleasant odor of hydrolyzed collagen over time, for example, Patent Document 1 discloses the use of non-hydrolyzed keratin. However, since non-hydrolyzed keratin has a high molecular weight and poor compatibility with the skin, cosmetics using such keratin may feel sticky. Therefore, in cosmetics containing hydrolyzed collagen, those with less stickiness while suppressing the unpleasant odor of hydrolyzed collagen over time are desired.

Effect of the Invention

[0008] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a skin cosmetic that suppresses the unpleasant odor of hydrolyzed collagen over time and suppresses stickiness.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention

[0009] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail, but the present invention is not limited to the following embodiments. The present invention is not limited to each configuration described below, and various modifications are possible within the scope shown in the claims. Embodiments and examples obtained by appropriately combining the technical means disclosed in different embodiments and examples are also included in the technical scope of the present invention.

[0010] The skin cosmetic according to the present embodiment contains (A) nicotinamide, (B) hydrolyzed collagen, and (C) polyhydric alcohol.

[0011] The component (A) contained in the skin cosmetic according to this embodiment is nicotinamide. Nicotinamide is also called pyridine-3-carboxamide, niacinamide, vitamin B3, and vitamin PP. Nicotinamide has effects such as promoting blood flow, promoting collagen production, promoting protein synthesis (filaggrin, keratin), suppressing sebum, and anti-acne. In the skin cosmetic according to this embodiment, it is considered that the amide group portion of nicotinamide acts on hydrolyzed collagen to suppress unpleasant odor. Component (A) can be extracted from natural products such as rice bran, and can also be produced by synthesis, so commercially available products can be used. Examples of commercially available nicotinamide include Niacinamide USP PC (manufactured by Lonza Japan), Nicotinamide (manufactured by DSM), and the like.

[0012] The blending amount of nicotinamide, which is component (A), is preferably 0.001% by mass or more and 5.0% by mass or less based on the whole skin cosmetic from the viewpoint of suppressing the unpleasant odor based on hydrolyzed collagen. If the blending amount of component (A) is 0.001% by mass or more, the unpleasant odor can be sufficiently suppressed. Also, if the blending amount of component (A) is 5.0% by mass or less, stickiness during the use of the skin cosmetic can be suppressed.

[0013] The component (B) contained in the skin cosmetic according to this embodiment is hydrolyzed collagen. In the skin cosmetic according to this embodiment, hydrolyzed collagen provides a moisturizing feeling. Hydrolyzed collagen may be produced by any method and is not particularly limited. As an example of the production method, fish scales are treated with a dilute acid or EDTA to dissolve the calcium component of the fish scales by a chemical reaction, and then the insoluble crude collagen is hydrolyzed with an acid, an alkali, or an enzyme. Another method is to gelatinize ground or unground scales directly in an autoclave or hot water and then hydrolyze them at the optimum temperature of the enzyme. Hydrolyzed collagen generates an unpleasant odor like that of garbage over time (hereinafter sometimes referred to as garbage odor). However, in the skin cosmetic according to this embodiment, the component (A) and the component (C) described below are contained, so that the unpleasant odor caused by hydrolyzed collagen can be suppressed.

[0014] The blending amount of hydrolyzed collagen as the component (B) is preferably 0.00001% by mass or more and 0.01% by mass or less based on the total amount of the skin cosmetic from the viewpoint of moisturizing the skin. If the blending amount of the component (B) is 0.00001% by mass or more, a sufficient moisturizing effect can be obtained. Also, if the blending amount of the component (B) is 0.01% by mass or less, the effect of suppressing the unpleasant odor by the component (A) and the component (C) can be sufficiently exerted.

[0015] The component (C) of the skin cosmetic according to this embodiment is a polyhydric alcohol. A polyhydric alcohol is a compound having two or more hydroxyl groups in the molecule. In the skin cosmetic according to this embodiment, the hydroxyl group of the polyhydric alcohol acts on the hydrolyzed collagen, changing the garbage odor generated by the hydrolyzed collagen over time into an odor like that of nuts (hereinafter sometimes referred to as nut odor). There is no particular limitation on the polyhydric alcohol, but preferred specific examples include propylene glycol, glycerin, saccharides (monosaccharides, disaccharides, trisaccharides, oligosaccharides, polysaccharides, etc.), and sugar alcohols (polyhydric alcohols in which the carbonyl group of the sugar is reduced).

[0016] The blending amount of the polyhydric alcohol as the component (C) is preferably 5% by mass or more and 30% by mass or less with respect to the whole skin cosmetic from the viewpoint of suppressing stickiness. When the blending amount of the component (C) is 5% by mass or more, the unpleasant odor can be sufficiently suppressed. Further, when the blending amount of the component (C) is 30% by mass or less, the stickiness can be sufficiently suppressed.

[0017] The pH of the skin cosmetic according to the present embodiment is 4.0 or more and 7.0 or less. Although the polyhydric alcohol as the component (C) changes the garbage odor generated over time of hydrolyzed collagen into a nutty odor, the nutty odor may be felt unpleasant. Therefore, by setting the pH of the skin cosmetic to 7.0 or less, the nutty odor is suppressed. Further, by setting the pH of the skin cosmetic to 4.0 or more, the irritation to the skin can be suppressed. The pH of the skin cosmetic according to the present embodiment is appropriately adjusted with, for example, citric acid, potassium hydroxide, or the like. In the present specification, the pH of the skin cosmetic refers to the pH measured at 25°C.

[0018] In the skin cosmetic according to the present embodiment, the ratio of the blending amount of the component (A) to the blending amount of the component (B) ((A) / (B)) is 0.1 or more and 500 or less, and the ratio of the blending amount of the component (C) to the blending amount of the component (B) ((C) / (B)) is 500 or more. By setting (A) / (B) and (C) / (B) within the above ranges, it is possible to suppress unpleasant odors such as garbage odor and nutty odor while suppressing stickiness.

[0019] The skin cosmetic according to this embodiment can be formulated into any cosmetic or external skin preparation in any dosage form, such as ointment, cream, emulsion, lotion, pack, bath agent, etc. At this time, it can also be used in combination with any whitening agent (for example, placenta, kojic acid, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, arbutin, etc.), anti-inflammatory agent (for example, glycyrrhizic acid, glycyrrhetinic acid, allantoin, bisabolol, etc.), moisturizing agent (for example, glycerin, sodium PCA, hyaluronic acid, etc.), ultraviolet absorber (for example, para-aminobenzoic acid, dipropylene glycol salicylate, etc.), blood flow promoter (for example, assembly extract, vitamin E, capsicum tincture, etc.). Examples of cosmetics that are particularly suitable as formulation targets include water-alcohol-based cosmetics such as lotion, pre-shave lotion, after-shave lotion, hair tonic, emulsion, and lotion containing powder.
