Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] In the configuration described in Patent Document 1, since the pads of the top plate main body and each top plate side are not connected to each other, the top plate main body is likely to sink. Therefore, it is not possible to appropriately suppress the wobbling of the seated person in the yaw direction. Therefore, the present invention provides a seat that can appropriately reduce the wobbling of the seated person in the yaw direction even when the top plate main body is separated from the top plate side.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0005] As means for solving the above problems, the seat of the present invention takes the following means.
[0006] That is, the first invention of the present invention is a seat having a cushion body that elastically supports a seated person and a seat frame that supports the cushion body from the back side of the seat. The cushion body is composed of three divided elements: a top plate main part that forms the central part in the seat width direction, and each top plate side part that forms both side parts in the seat width direction. The top plate main part has a main pad that forms a seat pad and a main base material that is applied to the back surface of the pad of the main pad. Each of the top plate sides has a side pad that forms a seat pad and a side base material that is fixed to the seat frame so as to be applied to the back surface of the pad of the side pad. One of the main base material and each of the side base materials has an extension part that extends so as to straddle the dividing lines of each other in the seat width direction toward the other base material. The main base material is supported from the back side of the seat by the other base material by support of the other base material from the back side of the seat by the extension part or support of the extension part from the back side of the seat by the other base material.
[0007] According to the first invention, since the main base material is supported from the back side of the seat by each side base material, it becomes difficult for the top plate main part to sink into the back side of the seat. Therefore, even if the top plate main part is separated from each top plate side, it is possible to reduce the wobbling of the seated person in the yaw direction.
[0008] The second invention of the present invention is the seat according to the first invention, wherein the one base material from which the extension part extends is each side base material, and the other base material supported from the back side of the seat by the extension part is the main base material.
[0009] According to the second invention, after assembling each top plate side to the seat frame, it becomes possible to assemble the top plate main part to the seat frame without any trouble.
[0010] The third invention of the present invention is, in the second invention described above, characterized in that the top plate main body further has a main cover that covers the main pad from the front side of the sheet, and the main cover has a base material covering portion that covers the main base material from the back side of the sheet so as to be interposed between the main base material and the extending portion, and is a sheet.
[0011] According to the third invention, since the base material covering portion of the main cover is interposed between the main base material and the extending portion, it is possible to reasonably suppress the generation of abnormal noise associated with the direct contact between the main base material and the extending portion.
[0012] The fourth invention of the present invention is, in the second or third invention described above, characterized in that the sheet further has a lumbar support that is attached to the seat frame and supports the top plate main body in a planar manner from the back side of the sheet, and the extending portion extending from each side base material extends to a position sandwiched between the lumbar support and the top plate main body, and is a sheet.
[0013] According to the fourth invention, the extending portion extending from each side base material is configured to extend to a position supported by the lumbar support of the top plate main body. Therefore, the main base material can be more appropriately supported from the back side of the sheet by such a long extending portion.
[0014] The fifth invention of the present invention is, in any one of the first to third inventions described above, characterized in that the extending portion is provided at a position above the sheet relative to the pelvic support portion of the top plate main body that supports the pelvis of the seated person in the seat back, or at a position in front of the sheet relative to the ischial support portion of the top plate main body that supports the ischium of the seated person in the seat cushion, and is a sheet.
[0015] According to the fifth invention, the rotation of the seated person in the yaw direction can be appropriately suppressed. As a result, the wobbling of the seated person in the yaw direction can be more appropriately reduced.
[0016] The sixth invention of the present invention is, in any one of the first to third inventions described above, characterized in that the main base material is a sheet fixed to the seat frame.
[0017] According to the sixth invention, since the main base material itself is also supported by the seat frame, the wobbling of the seated person in the yaw direction can be more appropriately reduced.

Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
[0019] Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0020] 《First Embodiment》 (Schematic Configuration of Seat S) First, the configuration of the seat S according to the first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 15. In the following description, when indicating each direction such as front, rear, up, down, left, and right, it shall refer to the respective directions shown in each figure.
[0021] Also, when indicating each direction with "seat" attached, such as "seat width direction", it shall refer to the respective directions based on the seat S. Further, in the following description, when no specific reference figure is shown, or when there is no reference sign corresponding to the reference figure, any one of FIGS. 1 to 15 shall be appropriately referred to.
[0022] As shown in FIG. 1, the seat S according to the present embodiment is configured as a single-seat mounted on an automobile. The seat S includes a seat back 1 that serves as the backrest portion for the seated person, a seat cushion (not shown) that serves as the seating portion, and a headrest H that serves as the headrest portion.
[0023] The lower ends of both left and right sides of the seat back 1 are connected to the rear ends of both left and right sides of the seat cushion via a recliner (not shown). Thereby, the seat back 1 can appropriately adjust the backrest angle with respect to the seat cushion.
[0024] As shown in FIG. 2, the seat back 1 has a cushion body 2 that elastically supports the back of the seated person, and a back frame 3 that supports the cushion body 2 from the back side (rear side) of the seat. The cushion body 2 is configured to be divided into three divided elements: a top plate main 2A that forms the central portion in the seat width direction, and each top plate side 2B that forms both side portions in the seat width direction. Here, the back frame 3 corresponds to the "seat frame" of the present invention.
[0025] The back frame 3 is composed of metal members assembled in a frame shape when viewed from the front. Inside the frame of the back frame 3, a lumbar support 3D is provided that can enhance the support for the waist of the seated person. The seat back 1 further has a cloth-like member 4 made of non-woven fabric stretched inside the frame of the back frame 3. The cloth-like member 4 is made of a so-called needle-punched non-woven fabric.
[0026] The cloth-like member 4 is a member that functions like a so-called hammock and supports the top plate main body 2A in a planar manner from the back side of the seat with respect to the back frame 3. The cloth-like member 4 is stretched inside the frame of the back frame 3 so as to be located in front of the lumbar support 3D.
[0027] Since the cushion body 2 is divided into the top plate main body 2A and each top plate side 2B as described above, it is possible to perform replacement according to the specifications for each divided element. The top plate main body 2A and each top plate side 2B can be easily assembled to the back frame 3 generally only by access from the front of the seat.
[0028] Since the top plate main body 2A is separated from each top plate side 2B, it is likely to sink to the back side of the seat with respect to the load received from the back of the seated person. The reason is that the pads between the top plate main body 2A and each top plate side 2B are not connected.
[0029] When the top plate main body 2A is likely to sink to the back side of the seat, the support of the seated person's body by the top plate main body 2A is not sufficiently effective during cornering of the vehicle. As a result, the seated person's body is likely to wobble in the yaw direction.
[0030] Therefore, the seat S according to the present embodiment is configured to be able to appropriately support the top plate main body 2A from the back side of the seat in order to appropriately suppress the wobbling of the seated person's body in the yaw direction. One of them is a structure in which the top plate main body 2A is supported from the back side of the seat by the above-described cloth-like member 4.
[0031] (Configuration of the back frame 3) Hereinafter, the specific configuration of each part of the seat back 1 will be described in detail. First, the configuration of the back frame 3 will be described. As shown in FIG. 3, the back frame 3 has a pair of left and right long plate-shaped side frames 3A extending in the seat height direction along both left and right side portions of the seat back 1.
[0032] Further, the back frame 3 has an upper frame 3B extending in the seat width direction along the upper side portion of the seat back 1. Also, the back frame 3 has a lower frame 3C extending in the seat width direction along the lower side portion of the seat back 1.
[0033] Further, the back frame 3 further has a lumbar support 3D provided so as to be suspended between the upper frame 3B and each side frame 3A. The lower part of the lumbar support 3D is elastically supported from the back side of the seat by the lower frame 3C via a spring (not shown).
[0034] Brackets 3E are bolted to the outer side portions of each side frame 3A. Hook claws E1 capable of hooking upper and lower two side hanging holes 4B formed at both left and right terminal portions of the cloth-like member 4 are formed on these brackets 3E. Each hook claw E1 has a claw shape protruding rearward of the seat from each bracket 3E.
[0035] Further, at two positions on the left and right of the upper frame 3B, square cylinder-shaped headrest support brackets B5 extending in the seat height direction are welded so as to penetrate in the seat height direction. These headrest support brackets B5 serve as holder portions for inserting and mounting a pair of left and right headrest stays (not shown) hanging from the headrest H described above in FIG. 1 from above the seat.
[0036] (Configuration of the cloth-like member 4) The above-described cloth-like member 4 is assembled to the back frame 3 as follows. As shown in FIG. 4, first, the two upper hanging holes 4A formed at the upper terminal portion of the cloth-like member 4 are passed through from above the seat through the tip portions of the respective headrest support brackets B5 protruding upward from the upper frame 3B and then hooked.
[0037] Next, the cloth-like member 4 is suspended from the front side of the back frame 3 with the upper terminal portion thus hooked as a fulcrum. Then, as shown in FIG. 5, the left and right terminal portions of the cloth-like member 4 are drawn in so as to be wound around the respective side frames 3A from the outside to the rear side.
[0038] Then, the two upper and lower side hanging holes 4B formed at the left and right terminal portions of the cloth-like member 4 are passed through from the rear side of the seat through the corresponding hanging claws E1 protruding rearward from the respective brackets 3E and then hooked. Thereby, as shown in FIG. 6, the cloth-like member 4 is stretched in a state of being covered from the front side of the seat across the upper frame 3B and the respective side frames 3A.
[0039] The lower terminal portion of the cloth-like member 4 is also hooked to the lower frame 3C of the back frame 3. Specifically, the lower terminal portion of the cloth-like member 4 is hooked to the lower frame 3C as the top plate main body 2A shown in FIG. 2 is assembled to the back frame 3. The assembly of the lower terminal portion of the cloth-like member 4 will be described in detail together with the description of the top plate main body 2A later.
[0040] By the above assembly, the cloth-like member 4 is provided in a state of covering the front side of the seat with the side edge A5 at the tip bent inward in the seat width direction at the front edge of each side frame 3A. Further, the cloth-like member 4 is provided so as to extend across the split line L (see FIGS. 13 to 15) between the top plate main body 2A and each top plate side 2B to be described later in the seat width direction.
[0041] (Configuration of the cushion body 2) Next, the configurations of the top plate main body 2A and each top plate side 2B will be described. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 7 to 8, the top plate main body 2A includes a main pad A1 made of foamed urethane, a main cover A2 made of fabric that covers the main pad A1, and a main base material A3 made of resin that is applied to the main pad A1 from the back side of the pad.
[0042] The main cover A2 is covered on the main pad A1 from the front side of the pad. As shown in FIGS. 7 to 8, for the main cover A2, its upper side and each cover terminal on the left and right are drawn into the back side of the main pad A1. And each cover terminal of the main cover A2 is fixed to each peripheral edge of the main base material A3 that is applied to the back surface of the main pad A1.
[0043] Due to this fixing, the main cover A2 is integrated with the main base material A3 so as to wrap the main pad A1 between the main cover A2 and the main base material A3. As a result, the main base material A3 is fixed in a state of being applied to the back surface of the main pad A1 through the main cover A2.
[0044] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 7 to 8, each top plate side 2B also similarly includes a side pad B1 made of foamed urethane, a side cover B2 made of fabric that covers the side pad B1, and a side base material B3 made of resin that is applied to the side pad B1 from the back side of the pad.
[0045] Each side cover B2 is covered on the side pad B1 from the front side of the pad. As shown in FIGS. 7 to 8, for each side cover B2, its upper, lower, left, and right cover terminals are drawn into the back side of the side pad B1. And each cover terminal of these side covers B2 is fixed to each peripheral edge of the side base material B3 that is applied to the back surface of the side pad B1.
[0046] Due to this fixing, each side cover B2 is integrated with the side base material B3 so as to wrap the side pad B1 between them and the side base material B3. As a result, each side base material B3 is fixed in a state of being applied to the back surface of the pad of the side pad B1 through the side cover B2.
[0047] As shown in FIG. 2, the top plate main body 2A and each top plate side 2B are individually assembled to the back frame 3 by accessing from the front of the seat with respect to the back frame 3. The top plate main body 2A and each top plate side 2B are assembled to the back frame 3 from the front of the seat after the cloth-like member 4 is assembled to the back frame 3.
[0048] Specifically, first, each top plate side 2B is assembled to the back frame 3. The procedure is as follows. As shown in FIG. 7, first, the fitting protrusion B31 formed on the upper edge portion of the side base material B3 of each top plate side 2B and hanging down from the eaves portion on the back side of the base material is hooked by passing it from above the seat through the fitting holes B6 formed at both left and right ends of the upper frame 3B and opening upward above the seat.
[0049] Next, each top plate side 2B is set so as to be applied to each side frame 3A from the front with the hooked upper end portion as a fulcrum. Then, each top plate side 2B is pressed against each side frame 3A from the front.
[0050] Thereby, clips (not shown) assembled to each side base material B3 are inserted from the front of the seat into the mounting holes of the corresponding brackets 3E bolted to each side frame 3A and snap-fitted. As shown in FIG. 9, as a result, each top plate side 2B is integrally fixed to the back frame 3.
[0051] After the above assembly, subsequently, the top plate main body 2A (see Fig. 2) is assembled to the back frame 3. The procedure is as follows. As shown in Fig. 7, first, the two upper hanging holes A4 formed in the eaves portions projecting rearward from the upper edge of the top plate main body 2A are hung by passing them from above the seat through the tip portions of the two headrest support brackets B5 projecting upward from the upper frame 3B above the seat.
[0052] As shown in Fig. 12, next, the top plate main body 2A is set so as to abut against the cloth-like member 4 (located on the front side of the lumbar support 3D) from the front with the hooked upper end as a fulcrum. Then, the lower cover terminal of the main cover A2 is drawn rearward in the seat so as to be wound around the lower frame 3C from below together with the lower part of the main pad A1.
[0053] And it is fixed by hooking a hooking tool A22 composed of a resin J-hook sewn to the lower cover terminal of the main cover A2 from below to the lower frame 3C. As shown in Fig. 10, as a result, the top plate main body 2A is integrally fixed to the back frame 3 in a state where the gap (split line L) in the seat width direction between the top plate main body 2A and each top plate side 2B is filled.
[0054] As shown in Fig. 12, when the hooking tool A22 of the lower cover terminal of the main cover A2 described above is hooked to the lower frame 3C, the hooking tool A22 is first passed through the lower hanging hole 4C formed in the lower terminal portion of the cloth-like member 4. Thereby, when the lower cover terminal of the main cover A2 is fixed to the lower frame 3C, the lower terminal portion of the cloth-like member 4 is also fixed to the lower frame 3C via the main cover A2.
[0055] As a result, the cloth-like member 4 is also wound around the lower frame 3C from below together with the main cover A2 and the main pad A1. With the above assembly, the upper part of the top plate main body 2A is supported from the back side of the seat by the upper frame 3B (see FIG. 7). Further, in the region from the middle part to the lower part of the top plate main body 2A, the lumbar support 3D elastically supports it from the back side of the seat.
[0056] Furthermore, the top plate main body 2A is supported in a planar manner from the back side of the seat by the cloth-like member 4 stretched over the back frame 3 (see FIGS. 12 to 15). With these supports, the top plate main body 2A can support the body of the seated person from the back side of the seat with an appropriate hardness.
[0057] In addition, even when a load in the yaw direction is input from the back of the seated person during cornering of the vehicle, the both side portions of the top plate main body 2A are supported from the back side of the seat by the cloth-like member 4, making it difficult for the top plate main body 2A to sink into the back side of the seat. With such a configuration, even when the top plate main body 2A is separated from each top plate side 2B, it can support the body of the seated person so as to be less likely to wobble in the yaw direction during cornering of the vehicle.
[0058] As shown in FIGS. 13 to 15, the cloth-like member 4 is provided so as to extend across the division line L between the top plate main body 2A and each top plate side 2B in the seat width direction. Therefore, the cloth-like member 4 can prevent foreign matter from entering the seat interior through the gap between the top plate main body 2A and each top plate side 2B.
[0059] Each top plate side 2B is supported from the back side of the seat by each side frame 3A over substantially the entire region in the seat height direction. Each top plate side 2B is configured such that their side base materials B3 support the side pads B1 in a planar manner from the back and obliquely outward side of the seat. Thereby, each top plate side 2B can appropriately support the back of the seated person from both left and right outer sides.
[0060] Specifically, the side base material B3 of each top plate side 2B has a surface portion that obliquely extends so as to cover each of those side frames 3A from the front side and the inner side in the sheet width direction, and supports the side pad B1 in a planar manner from the obliquely outer side on the back side of the sheet. Due to these structures, each top plate side 2B is configured to be less likely to sink into the back side of the sheet than the top plate main body 2A.
[0061] As shown in FIG. 11, the main base material A3 of the top plate main body 2A is shaped like a frame when viewed from the front. Specifically, the main base material A3 has a ladder shape in which the spaces between the left and right frame side portions A32 thereof are connected at a plurality of locations in the sheet height direction.
[0062] On the left and right frame side portions A32 of the main base material A3, first side bulging portions A33 that bulge forward of the sheet are formed in regions near their lower parts. These first side bulging portions A33 are formed at positions where the pelvic support portion R of the top plate main body 2A, that is, the portion that supports the pelvis of the seated person, overlaps in the sheet height direction.
[0063] As shown in FIG. 13, specifically, each first side bulging portion A33 is configured to be extruded in a shape that forms an inclined surface M that faces obliquely inward from the left and right frame side portions A32 of the main base material A3 toward the front of the sheet. In the main pad A1, recesses A11 that are recessed in accordance with the shapes of the respective first side bulging portions A33 protruding from the main base material A3 are formed in both left and right side portions on the back surface of the pad.
[0064] Thereby, each first side bulging portion A33 is shaped to bulge so as to enter into each recess A11 of the main pad A1. Due to the bulging of these first side bulging portions A33, the top plate main body 2A has thinner side portions than the central portion in both side portions of the main pad A1, and each first side bulging portion A33 can firmly support the back of the seated person from the back side of the sheet.
[0065] Specifically, each first side bulging portion A33 is configured such that its inclined surface M supports the main pad A1 planar from the obliquely outer side of the sheet back. Thereby, the top plate main 2A can support the pelvis of the seated person planar from both left and right outer sides by the inclined surfaces M of the respective first side bulging portions A33 of the main base material A3.
[0066] Due to these supports, even when a load in the yaw direction is input from the pelvis of the seated person during cornering of the vehicle, both side portions of the top plate main 2A are strongly supported from the back side of the seat by the respective first side bulging portions A33, making it difficult for the top plate main 2A to sink into the back side of the seat. With such a configuration, even when the top plate main 2A is separated from each top plate side 2B, it can support the body of the seated person so as to be less likely to wobble in the yaw direction during cornering of the vehicle.
[0067] Specifically, each first side bulging portion A33 is formed on the main base material A3 fixed to the back frame 3. Therefore, the respective first side bulging portions A33 of the main base material A3 supported by the back frame 3 can more appropriately reduce the wobbling of the seated person in the yaw direction.
[0068] As shown in FIG. 11, the left and right frame side portions A32 of the main base material A3 are supported planar from the back side of the seat by the extending portions B32 whose regions closer to the upper part of the seat extend inward in the seat width direction from each side base material B3. These extending portions B32 are formed at positions above the seat relative to the pelvis support portion R of the top plate main 2A. Here, the main base material A3 corresponds to the "other base material" of the present invention. Also, each side base material B3 on which the extending portion B32 is formed corresponds to the "one base material" of the present invention.
[0069] As shown in FIG. 14, specifically, each extending portion B32 is configured to extend flatly from the outer side to the inner side of the seat width direction across the division line L between the top plate main 2A and each top plate side 2B. Specifically, each extending portion B32 extends inward to a position where its arrangement in the seat width direction overlaps with that of the lumbar support 3D that supports the top plate main 2A from the back side of the pad.
[0070] Thereby, each extending portion B32 is arranged so as to be sandwiched between the top plate main body 2A and the lumbar support 3D. Due to the support from the back side of the seat by these extending portions B32, the top plate main body 2A can firmly support the back of the seated person from the back side of the seat at both its left and right side portions.
[0071] Thereby, even when a load in the yaw direction is input from the pelvis of the seated person during cornering of the vehicle, the top plate main body 2A is less likely to sink into the back side of the seat because both its side portions are strongly supported from the back side of the seat by the respective extending portions B32. Therefore, even when the top plate main body 2A is separated from each top plate side 2B, it can support the body of the seated person so as to be less likely to wobble in the yaw direction during cornering of the vehicle.
[0072] The left and right frame side portions A32 of the main base material A3 supported by each extending portion B32 from the back side of the seat are covered from the back side of the seat by a base material covering portion A21 which is a part of the cover terminal drawn into the back side of the seat of the main cover A2. By interposing the base material covering portion A21 between the main base material A3 and each extending portion B32 in this way, direct contact between the main base material A3 and each extending portion B32 can be reasonably prevented. As a result, generation of abnormal noise associated with contact between resins can be appropriately suppressed. In FIGS. 7 to 8, illustration of the base material covering portion A21 is omitted in order to clearly show the configuration of the main base material A3.
[0073] Each extending portion B32 extends inward in the seat width direction from each side base material B3. Therefore, even if the top plate main body 2A is assembled to the back frame 3 after assembling each top plate side 2B to the back frame 3, each extending portion B32 does not hinder the assembly of the top plate main body 2A.
[0074] As shown in FIG. 11, on the left and right frame side portions A32 of the main base material A3, a second side bulging portion A34 that bulges forward in the sheet is formed in the intermediate region in the sheet height direction between the above-described first side bulging portion A33 and the extending portion B32. As shown in FIG. 15, each second side bulging portion A34 is configured to be extruded in a shape that forms an inclined surface M that faces obliquely inward from the left and right frame side portions A32 of the main base material A3 toward the front of the sheet.
[0075] In the main pad A1, recessed portions A11 that are recessed in accordance with the shapes of the respective second side bulging portions A34 protruding from the main base material A3 are formed on both left and right side portions on the back surface of the pad. Thereby, each second side bulging portion A34 is shaped to bulge so as to enter into each recessed portion A11 of the main pad A1. Due to the bulging of these second side bulging portions A34, the top plate main body 2A is such that both side portions of the main pad A1 are thinner than the central portion and can firmly support the back of the seated person from the back side of the seat.
[0076] Specifically, each second side bulging portion A34 is configured such that their inclined surfaces M support the main pad A1 planar from the back and obliquely outer side of the seat. Thereby, the top plate main body 2A can support the back of the seated person planar from both left and right outer sides by the inclined surfaces M of the respective second side bulging portions A34 of the main base material A3.
[0077] Due to these supports, even when a load in the yaw direction is input from the back of the seated person during cornering of the vehicle, the top plate main body 2A is less likely to sink into the back side of the seat because both of its side portions are strongly supported from the back side of the seat by the respective second side bulging portions A34. With such a configuration, even when the top plate main body 2A is separated from each top plate side 2B, it can support the body of the seated person so as to be less likely to wobble in the yaw direction during cornering of the vehicle.
[0078] Specifically, each second side bulging portion A34 is formed on the main base material A3 fixed to the back frame 3. Therefore, the second side bulging portions A34 of the main base material A3 supported by the back frame 3 can more appropriately reduce the swaying of the seated person in the yaw direction.
[0079] Summarizing the above, the seat S according to the present embodiment is configured as follows. In the following, the reference numerals in parentheses correspond to the respective configurations shown in the above embodiment.
[0080] That is, the seat (S) has a cushion body (2) that elastically supports the seated person, and a seat frame (3) that supports the cushion body (2) from the back side of the seat. The cushion body (2) is composed of three divided elements: a top plate main body (2A) that forms the central portion in the seat width direction, and each top plate side (2B) that forms both side portions in the seat width direction. The top plate main body (2A) has a main pad (A1) that forms a seat pad, and a main base material (A3) that is applied to the back surface of the main pad (A1).
[0081] Each top plate side (2B) has a side pad (B1) that forms a seat pad, and a side base material (B3) that is fixed to the seat frame (3) so as to be applied to the back surface of the side pad (B1). One of the base materials (B3) among the main base material (A3) and each side base material (B3) has an extension portion (B32) that extends so as to straddle the respective division lines (L) in the seat width direction toward the other base material (A3). The main base material (A3) is supported from the back side of the seat by the other base material (A3) by the support of the extension portion (B32).
[0082] According to the above configuration, since the main base material (A3) is supported from the back side of the seat by each side base material (B3), the top plate main body (2A) is less likely to sink into the back side of the seat. Therefore, even if the top plate main body (2A) is separated from each top plate side (2B), the swaying of the seated person in the yaw direction can be reduced.
[0083] Further, one base material (B3) from which the extending portion (B32) extends is used as each side base material (B3). The other base material (A3) supported from the back side of the sheet by the extending portion (B32) is used as the main base material (A3). According to the above configuration, after assembling each top plate side (2B) to the seat frame (3), it becomes possible to assemble the top plate main body (2A) to the seat frame (3) without any trouble.
[0084] Further, the top plate main body (2A) further has a main cover (A2) that covers the main pad (A1) from the front side of the sheet. The main cover (A2) has a base material covering portion (A21) that covers the main base material (A3) from the back side of the sheet so as to be interposed between the main base material (A3) and the extending portion (B32). According to the above configuration, by the base material covering portion (A21) of the main cover (A2) being interposed between the main base material (A3) and the extending portion (B32), it is possible to reasonably suppress the generation of abnormal noise associated with the direct contact between the main base material (A3) and the extending portion (B32).
[0085] Further, the sheet (S) further has a lumbar support (3D) that is attached to the seat frame (3) and supports the top plate main body (2A) in a planar manner from the back side of the sheet. The extending portion (B32) extending from each side base material (B3) extends to a position sandwiched between the lumbar support (3D) and the top plate main body (2A). According to the above configuration, the extending portion (B32) extending from each side base material (B3) has a configuration that projects to a position supported by the lumbar support (3D) of the top plate main body (2A). Therefore, the main base material (A3) can be more appropriately supported from the back side of the sheet by the extending portion (B32) that projects so long.
[0086] Further, the extending portion (B32) is provided at a position above the sheet relative to the pelvis support portion (R) of the top plate main body (2A) that supports the pelvis of the seated person in the seat back (1). According to the above configuration, it is possible to appropriately suppress the rotation of the seated person in the yaw direction. As a result, it is possible to more appropriately reduce the wobbling of the seated person in the yaw direction.
[0087] Further, the main base material (A3) is fixed to the seat frame (3). According to the above configuration, the main base material (A3) itself is also supported by the seat frame (3), so that the wobbling of the seated person in the yaw direction can be more appropriately reduced.
[0088] 《Regarding Other Embodiments》 As described above, the embodiments of the present invention have been described using one embodiment, but the present invention can be implemented in various forms in addition to the above embodiments.
[0089] 1. The seat of the present invention may be applied to vehicles other than automobiles such as railways, airplanes, and ships. Further, the seat may be installed in various facilities (for non-vehicles) such as sports facilities, theaters, concert halls, and event venues in addition to vehicles. The configuration of the present invention is applicable not only to the seat back but also to the seat cushion.
[0090] 2. The extension part may be configured to extend outward in the seat width direction from the main base material toward each side base material. In that case, the extension part needs to be configured to extend from the main base material (corresponding to "one base material") so as to be supported from the back side of the seat by each side base material (corresponding to "the other base material").
[0091] When the configuration of the present invention is applied to the seat cushion, the structure in which the main base material is supported from the back side of the seat by each side base material via the extension part is preferably provided at a position in front of the seat rather than the ischial support part of the main top plate that supports the left and right ischial bones of the seated person in the seat cushion. With this arrangement, the rotation of the seated person in the yaw direction can be appropriately suppressed. As a result, the wobbling of the seated person in the yaw direction can be more appropriately reduced. Note that the above structure may be arranged at a position where the ischial support part of the seat cushion and the arrangement in the front-rear direction of the seat overlap.
[0092] 3. The main cover and / or the side cover may be made of a leather material in addition to the fabric.
