Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a slide fastener fixing frame. [Background technology]

[0002] There are two types of suitcases: soft cases, whose main body is made of nylon, polyester, etc., and hard cases, whose main body is made of a hard material, such as polycarbonate or aluminum alloy. Unlike hard cases, soft cases do not have a frame around the opening edge of the suitcase half, and the main body is opened and closed by a fastener attached to the edge of the main body.

[0003] In the case of soft cases, the zipper is fixed to the periphery of the opening of the suitcase half by sewing a zipper fixing cloth piece (tape material) with a resin coil zipper tooth row fixed to the periphery of the case body using a special sewing machine.

[0004] In the case of a soft case without a frame around the periphery of the opening, the suitcase half inevitably has low rigidity, and as a result, the top surface of the suitcase half is prone to warping and may be recessed inward into the case body.

[0005] This phenomenon is more likely to occur the larger the case body. When a suitcase without a frame is subjected to external force, the case body can become dented, and the external force can reach the items stored inside, affecting them.

[0006] Furthermore, with conventional soft cases, when opening and closing the zippers while the soft case is placed on its side, the weight of the suitcase halves themselves can cause the zippers attached to each suitcase half to overlap in the vertical direction.

[0007] In such cases, if the user tries to forcefully move the slider to close the zipper, the slider may get caught in the teeth and not be able to be pulled smoothly, which can lead to damage to the zipper.

[0008] When repairing a zipper after such damage, it is necessary to undo the sewn-in fastening portion and then replace the fastener, which makes the repair work complicated and increases the repair costs.

[0009] As an example of a fastener structure that can be used for bags, etc., Patent Document 1 discloses an opening structure in which the left and right tooth rows of a slide fastener are crimped and the edge of the opening of a bag, etc. is inserted and fixed. This opening structure improves the appearance of the opening of the bag, etc., and makes it easy to sew the slide fastener. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0010] [Patent Document 1] Special Publication No. 5-65166 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0011] However, it is impossible to solve the above problems using such conventional techniques.

[0012] The present invention aims to provide a frame for fixing a slide fastener in a soft case that does not affect the contents of the suitcase from external impacts, allows the fastener to be opened and closed smoothly when opening and closing the suitcase, and reduces the risk of the fastener being damaged. [Means for solving the problem]

[0013] The slide fastener fixing frame described in claim 1 is a slide fastener fixing frame attached to the opening periphery of a suitcase half that is fixed so as to be openable and closable by a slide fastener, and is characterized by having: a suitcase half mounting and fixing part having a first groove part that stores and fixes the opening periphery; and a first zipper fixing part that is provided adjacent to the suitcase mounting and fixing part, is formed in an elongated band shape overall, and has a second groove part that stores the other end of a zipper fixing piece with a row of teeth fixed to one end in the width direction in a state where it can move in the length direction, and fixes the zipper fixing piece to the suitcase half.

[0014] The slide fastener fixing frame body described in claim 2 is characterized in that a fastener piece fixing member is fixed to the other end of the fastener fixing piece and is stored in the second groove portion in a state where it can move longitudinally.

[0015] The slide fastener fixing frame body described in claim 3 is characterized in that the fastener piece fixing member is formed by a plurality of stators fixed at the other end of the fastener fixing piece at a predetermined interval in the longitudinal direction.

[0016] The slide fastener fixing frame body described in claim 4 is characterized in that the first fastener fixing portion is provided on the inner side of the suitcase half mounting and fixing portion when attached to the suitcase half.

[0017] The slide fastener fixing frame according to claim 5 is characterized in that the first groove portion and the second groove portion are formed so as to open in opposite directions to each other in the width direction.

[0018] The slide fastener fixing frame described in claim 6 is characterized in that it has a second zipper fixing part adjacent to the first zipper fixing part, which is provided on the inside of the suitcase half while attached to the suitcase half, which opens and closes a storage part provided inside the suitcase half, and which has a third groove part that stores the other end of the zipper fixing piece whose tooth row is fixed to one end in the width direction in a state where it can move in the length direction, thereby fixing the zipper fixing piece to the suitcase half.

[0019] The slide fastener fixing frame described in claim 7 is characterized in that a fastener piece fixing member is fixed to the other end of the fastener fixing piece and is stored in the second groove portion in a state where it can move longitudinally, and the fastener piece fixing member is formed by a plurality of stators fixed to the other end of the fastener fixing piece at a predetermined interval from each other in the longitudinal direction.

[0020] The slide fastener fixing frame according to claim 8 is characterized in that the third groove portion is formed so as to open in the opposite direction to the second groove portion in the width direction.

[0021] The slide fastener fixing frame according to claim 9 is formed in an overall rectangular frame shape so as to be fixed to the periphery of the opening of the suitcase half.

[0022] The slide fastener fixing frame described in claim 10 is made of synthetic resin, and the opening periphery is adhesively fixed in a state housed in the first groove. [Effects of the Invention]

[0023] The slide fastener fixing frame of claim 1 is a slide fastener fixing frame attached to the opening periphery of a suitcase half that is fixed so as to be openable and closable by a slide fastener, and comprises: a suitcase half mounting and fixing part having a first groove that stores and fixes the opening periphery; and a first zipper fixing part that is provided adjacent to the suitcase half mounting and fixing part, has an elongated band-like shape overall, and has a second groove that stores the zipper fixing piece having a row of teeth fixed to one end in the width direction and the other end movable in the length direction, thereby fixing the zipper fixing piece to the suitcase half.

[0024] Unlike conventional soft cases, the zipper is not directly sewn to the suitcase halves via tape, which serves as the fastener fixing member. Instead, the zipper fixing piece can be quickly and easily replaced by pulling it out of the groove in the frame along its length. Therefore, even if the slide fastener is damaged, there is no need to release the stitching and re-sew it. As a result, a soft case can be provided that can significantly reduce repair costs.

[0025] In addition, since a frame is fixed to the peripheral edge of the suitcase half and a slide fastener is attached through the frame, the rigidity of the case body can be maintained even if an external impact is applied to the main body of the soft case, and items stored inside the suitcase can be protected. It is also possible to prevent deformation such as warping of the suitcase body over time.

[0026] In the slide fastener fixing frame of claim 2, a fastener fixing member is fixed to the other end of the fastener fixing piece so that it can be moved longitudinally in the second groove, thereby reducing damage to the fastener fixing piece of the slide fastener when the suitcase half is bent.

[0027] In the slide fastener fixing frame described in claim 3, the fastener piece fixing member is formed by a plurality of stators fixed in a loosely fitted state at a predetermined interval from one another in the longitudinal direction at the other end of the fastener fixing piece, thereby making it possible to stably store the other end of the fastener fixing piece in the second groove portion while maintaining the flexibility of the other end of the fastener fixing piece and reducing breakage of the slide fastener.

[0028] In the slide fastener fixing frame described in claim 4, the first fastener fixing portion is provided on the inside of the suitcase half mounting and fixing portion when the suitcase is attached to the suitcase half. This positions the slide fastener on the inside of the outer surface of the suitcase half, reducing impact on the slide fastener due to external forces. Furthermore, the slide fastener is less noticeable from the outer surface of the suitcase, resulting in a suitcase with excellent appearance quality.

[0029] In the slide fastener fixing frame described in claim 5, the first groove and the second groove are formed so as to open in opposite directions in the width direction, thereby allowing the periphery of the opening of the suitcase half to be positioned substantially in the same plane as the fastener fixing piece relative to the slide fastener fixing frame, and forming an opening that can be opened and closed by the slide fastener at the end of the suitcase half.

[0030] The slide fastener fixing frame described in claim 6 has a second zipper fixing part adjacent to the first zipper fixing part, which is provided on the inside of the suitcase half while attached to the suitcase half, and which has a third groove part that opens and closes a storage part provided inside the suitcase half, and stores the other end of the zipper fixing piece, the other end of which is fixed to one end in the width direction with the row of teeth, in a state where it can move in the length direction, thereby fixing the zipper fixing piece to the suitcase half.

[0031] As a result, the slide fastener fixing frame body, even when used with a slide fastener that opens and closes a storage compartment provided inside a suitcase half, does not affect the contents stored in the storage compartment due to external impacts, just like a slide fastener that opens and closes a suitcase half, and allows the slide fastener to be opened and closed smoothly, reducing the risk of damage to the slide fastener.

[0032] In the slide fastener fixing frame described in claim 7, a fastener piece fixing member is fixed to the other end of the fastener fixing piece so as to be movable in the lengthwise direction in the second groove, and the fastener piece fixing member is formed of a plurality of stators fixed in a loose-fit state at a predetermined interval from each other in the lengthwise direction at the other end of the fastener fixing piece. This makes it possible to stably store the other end of the fastener fixing piece in the second groove while maintaining the flexibility of the other end of the fastener fixing piece.

[0033] In the slide fastener fixing frame described in claim 8, the second groove portion and the third groove portion are formed so as to open in opposite directions in the width direction. The openings by the slide fastener can be formed at different positions on either side of the slide fastener fixing frame.

[0034] The slide fastener fixing frame described in claim 9 is formed in an overall rectangular frame shape so as to be fixed to the periphery of the opening of the suitcase half, thereby increasing the rigidity of the opening of the suitcase half.

[0035] The slide fastener fixing frame described in claim 10 is made of synthetic resin, and the opening periphery is adhesively fixed in place while housed in the first groove, so that the suitcase half and the slide fastener fixing frame can be easily connected with high strength. [Brief explanation of the drawings]

[0036] [Figure 1]FIG. 10 is a cross-sectional perspective view of a portion of the suitcase with the fixing frame attached. [Figure 2] FIG. [Figure 3] FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the periphery of a fastener piece fixing member provided on the fastener fixing piece. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0037] An embodiment of the present invention will now be described. Fig. 1 is a cross-sectional perspective view of a portion of a suitcase 1 equipped with a fixing frame 2 (slide fastener fixing frame) of a slide fastener 3A (3). The suitcase 1 of this embodiment is a soft case formed in the shape of a substantially rectangular box (not shown in Fig. 1).

[0038] Suitcase 1 has an opening 12 on the side of the rectangular parallelepiped case body that can be opened and closed by a slide fastener 3A. For example, when slide fastener 3A is in the open position, suitcase 1 is formed into two suitcase halves 11 that can be opened and closed like a hinge by means of hinges or the like provided on the side of suitcase 1 where opening 12 is not formed. Suitcase halves 11 are formed, for example, in the shape of a shallow, elongated rectangular box with an opening 111 for putting in and taking out luggage.

[0039] Fig. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the fixing frame 2. Fig. 2 shows an enlarged view of one of the two slide fastener fixing frames 2 arranged opposite each other.

[0040] The fixing frame 2 is made of synthetic resin. The slide fastener fixing frame 2 is attached to the opening periphery 112 of the suitcase half 11, which is fixed so as to be openable and closable by the slide fastener 3A. The fixing frame 2 is formed long so as to fit along the opening periphery 112. The fixing frame 2 of this embodiment is formed in the shape of an overall rectangular frame so as to be fixed to the opening periphery 112 of the suitcase half 11. Therefore, the fixing frame 2 is formed long so as to fit along the opening periphery 112.

[0041] The slide fastener fixing frame 2 may be formed in a substantially U-shape, L-shape, or linear shape depending on the shape of the opening periphery 112 and the like.

[0042] The slide fastener 3A comprises a sheet-like fastener fixing piece 31 formed as a long, thin band overall, a row of coupling teeth 32 fixed to one end 31a of the fastener fixing piece 31 in the width direction W, and a fastener piece fixing member 33 fixed to the other end 31b of the fastener fixing piece 31 opposite to the row of coupling teeth 32. Therefore, the slide fastener 3A is formed as a long, thin band overall.

[0043] As shown in Fig. 3, the fastener piece fixing member 33 is formed by a plurality of stators 331 fixed at a predetermined interval from each other in the longitudinal direction L at the other end 31b of the fastener fixing piece 31. The stators 331 are formed in a substantially C-ring shape in side view. The stators 331 have claw portions 331a facing each other. The stators 331 are fixed to the fastener fixing piece 31 by clamping the other end 31b of the fastener fixing piece 31 from the end side in the width direction W with the claw portions 331a.

[0044] The fixing frame 2 comprises a suitcase half attachment fixing portion 4 and a plurality of fastener fixing portions (a first fastener fixing portion 5, a second fastener fixing portion 6).

[0045] The suitcase half mounting part 4 has a first groove 41 that accommodates and fixes the opening periphery 112 of the suitcase half 11. The opening periphery 112 of the suitcase half 11 is adhesively fixed in the first groove 41 while being accommodated therein.

[0046] When the slide fastener fixing frame 2 is attached to the suitcase half 11, the first fastener fixing portion 5 is provided adjacent to the suitcase half attachment fixing portion 4 on the inner side D1 of the suitcase half 11. The first fastener fixing portion 5 has a second groove portion 51 that fixes the fastener fixing piece 31 to the suitcase half 11.

[0047] The first groove 41 and the second groove 51 are formed so as to open in opposite directions in the width direction W of the slide fastener fixing frame 2. The second groove 51 has protrusions 52 and 53 that protrude in the groove width direction so as to face each other. The protrusion 52 is formed closer to the bottom of the second groove 51 than the protrusion 53.

[0048] The gap between the opposing protrusions 52, 53 is formed to be larger than the thickness of the fastener fixing piece 31 disposed between the protrusions 52. In addition, the gap between the protrusions 52 is formed to be smaller than the outer shape of the stator 331 of the fastener piece fixing member 33.

[0049] The second groove portion 51 accommodates the fastener fixing piece 31 and the fastener piece fixing member 33 in a loosely fitted state, and therefore accommodates the other end portion 31b of the fastener fixing piece 31 in a state in which it can move in the length direction L. In other words, the fastener piece fixing member 33 is accommodated in the second groove portion 51 in a state in which it can move in the length direction L. On the other hand, the second groove portion 51 restricts the fastener fixing piece 31 from slipping out in the width direction W by the protrusion 52.

[0050] The second fastener fixing portion 6 is provided adjacent to the first fastener fixing portion 5 on the inner side D1 of the suitcase half 11 when the fixing frame 2 is attached to the suitcase half 11. The second fastener fixing portion 6 also has a third groove portion 61 that fixes the fastener fixing piece 31 of the slide fastener 3B(3) to the suitcase half 11. The slide fastener 3B has a configuration similar to that of the slide fastener 3A (3) housed in the second groove portion 51. In the description of the slide fastener 3B of this embodiment, the same components as those of the slide fastener 3A are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof will be omitted or simplified.

[0051] The second groove portion 51 and the third groove portion 61 are formed so as to open in opposite directions in the width direction W. The third groove portion 61 has protrusions 62 that protrude so as to face each other in the groove width direction.

[0052] The gap between the opposing protrusions 62 is also formed to be larger than the thickness of the fastener fixing piece 31 arranged between the protrusions 62. In addition, the gap between the protrusions 62 is formed to be smaller than the outer shape of the stator 331 of the fastener piece fixing member 33.

[0053] A storage section 7 is provided inside the suitcase half 11. The storage section 7 stores items such as luggage to be stored in the suitcase 1. The second zipper fixing section 6 further stores a slide fastener 3B that opens and closes the storage section 7.

[0054] The third groove portion 61 accommodates the fastener fixing piece 31 and the fastener piece fixing member 33 in a loosely fitted state, and therefore accommodates the other end portion 31b of the fastener fixing piece 31 in a state in which it can move in the length direction L. In other words, the fastener piece fixing member 33 of the slide fastener 3B is accommodated in the third groove portion 61 in a state in which it can move in the length direction L. On the other hand, the third groove portion 61 restricts the fastener fixing piece 31 from slipping out in the width direction W by the protrusion 62.

[0055] The suitcase fixing frame 2 has an extended plate 21 that extends in the opening direction of the second groove 51. The extended plate 21 is provided on the inward D1 side of the suitcase half 11 with respect to the slide fastener 3A, and therefore, even if an external force is applied to the slide fastener 3A, it restricts the inward D1 depression at a predetermined position, thereby preventing damage to the slide fastener 3A.

[0056] In this embodiment, the zipper is not directly sewn to the suitcase half with tape as in conventional soft cases, and can be quickly and easily replaced by pulling the zipper fixing piece 31 out along the length from the second groove portion 51 of the fixing frame 2. Therefore, even if the slide fastener is damaged, it is possible to provide a soft case that can significantly reduce repair costs.

[0057] Furthermore, since the fixing frame 2 is fixed to the periphery of the suitcase half and the slide fastener is attached to the suitcase half 11 via the fixing frame 2, the rigidity of the case body can be maintained even if an external impact is applied to the soft case body, thereby protecting the items stored inside the suitcase 1. It is also possible to prevent deformation such as warping of the suitcase 1 over time.

[0058] In the slide fastener fixing frame 2 according to this embodiment, a fastener piece fixing member 33 is fixed to the other end of the fastener fixing piece 31 and is housed in the second groove portion 51 in a state in which it can move in the longitudinal direction. This reduces the risk of damage to the fastener fixing piece 31 of the slide fastener when the suitcase half is bent.

[0059] Furthermore, in the slide fastener fixing frame body 2 of this embodiment, the fastener piece fixing member 33 is loosely fitted by a plurality of stators 331 fixed at the other end of the fastener fixing piece 31 at a predetermined interval from each other in the longitudinal direction, and while the other end of the fastener fixing piece 31 is stably stored in the second groove portion 51, the flexibility of the other end of the fastener fixing piece 31 is maintained, and damage to the slide fastener can be reduced.

[0060] Furthermore, since the first fastener fixing part 5 is located on the inside of the suitcase half mounting fixing part 4 when attached to the suitcase half, the slide fastener 3 is positioned inside the outer surface of the suitcase half, reducing the impact on the slide fastener due to external forces. Also, the slide fastener 3 is not noticeable from the outer surface of the suitcase, allowing for the construction of a suitcase with excellent appearance quality.

[0061] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the slide fastener fixing frame 2 is formed so that the first groove portion 41 and the second groove portion 51 open in opposite directions in the width direction, so that the opening periphery of the suitcase half 11 is positioned in a direction approximately planar with the zipper fixing piece 31 relative to the slide fastener fixing frame 2, and an opening 12 that can be opened and closed by the slide fastener 3 can be formed on the end side of the suitcase half 11. Therefore, it is possible to position the slide fastener 3 below the general surface of the upper end face of the suitcase half 11, and the slide fastener 3 is not exposed on the surface of the case as in conventional soft cases, and the slide fastener 3 can be protected during use.

[0062] Furthermore, the slide fastener fixing frame 2 according to this embodiment is adjacent to the first zipper fixing part 5 and is attached to the suitcase half 11 on the inside of the suitcase half 11, and has a second zipper fixing part 6 which opens and closes the storage section 7 provided inside the suitcase half 11, and has a third groove part 61 which stores the zipper fixing piece 31, the other end of which has the tooth row 32 fixed to one widthwise end thereof, in a state where it can move longitudinally, thereby fixing the zipper fixing piece 31 to the suitcase half 11. Therefore, the slide fastener fixing frame 2, like the slide fastener 3 which opens and closes the storage section 7 provided inside the suitcase half 11, does not affect the contents of the storage section 7 from external impacts, etc., and allows the slide fastener 3 to be opened and closed smoothly, reducing the risk of damage to the slide fastener 3.

[0063] In this embodiment, the fastener piece fixing member 33 is formed by a plurality of stators 33 fixed in a loosely fitted state at a predetermined interval from each other in the length direction at the other end of the fastener fixing piece 31. This makes it possible to stably store the other end of the fastener fixing piece 31 in the second groove portion 51 while maintaining the flexibility of the other end of the fastener fixing piece 31.

[0064] Furthermore, since the second groove portion 51 and the third groove portion 61 are formed so as to open in opposite directions in the width direction, the openings by the slide fastener 3 can be formed at different positions on either side of the slide fastener fixing frame body 2.

[0065] The slide fastener fixing frame 2 according to this embodiment is formed in the shape of a square frame as a whole so that it can be fixed to the opening periphery 112 of the suitcase half 11. This increases the rigidity of the opening 12 of the suitcase half 11.

[0066] Furthermore, the slide fastener fixing frame 2 is made of synthetic resin, and the opening periphery 112 is adhesively fixed while housed in the first groove 41, so that the suitcase half 11 and the slide fastener fixing frame 2 can be easily connected with high strength.

[0067] As described above, in this embodiment, the fixing frame 2 is provided with the suitcase half attachment and fixing portion 4 and the fastener fixing portions 5 and 6. This type of fixing frame 2 does not require the slide fastener 3 to be directly sewn to the suitcase half via the tape-like fastener fixing piece 31 as in conventional soft cases, so it is less likely to be damaged, and even if replacement is necessary, it can be easily carried out.
