Abstract
To provide an electrolytic capacitor having a member covered with an insulating film containing a coloring material, having a sufficient oxide film repairing performance with stable chemical conversion of an electrolyte component, and provide a producing method for the same.SOLUTION: In an electrolytic capacitor (e.g., a solid electrolytic capacitor 1) according to the present invention, a part of surfaces of electrode foils 2a and 2b or a part or all of the surfaces of at least one member of terminals (e.g., lead terminals 5 and 6) and a terminal fixing member is covered with an insulating film 7 formed of an insulating resin. The insulating film 7 contains at least one coloring substance that makes the insulating film distinguishable by a color sense. The coloring substance is a compound having a main skeleton having a conjugated double bond and a substituent having at least one chemical structure of a hydroxy group, an alkoxy group, and a ketone group, and the substituent does not have a chemical structure having a charge other than the hydroxy group, the alkoxy group, and the ketone group.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
