Abstract

To provide a small-sized zoom lens having high image forming performance and achieving a high variable power ratio, and an imaging apparatus having the same.SOLUTION: A zoom lens comprises a first lens group having a positive refractive power, a second lens group having a negative refractive power, and a rear group having one or more lens groups and having a positive refractive power as a whole, which are arranged in order from an object side to an image side.
