Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a terminal, a base station, a wireless communication system, and a wireless communication method in a next-generation mobile communication system. [Background technology]

[0002] The 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP (registered trademark)) has developed specifications for the 5th generation mobile communication system (also known as 5G, New Radio (NR) or Next Generation (NG)), and is also developing specifications for the next generation, known as Beyond 5G, 5G Evolution or 6G.

[0003] For example, 3GPP Release 18 is considering an extension of the duplex method. Specifically, SBFD (Sub-Band non-overlapping Full Duplex) is proposed as a new duplex method that enables simultaneous use of the downlink (DL) and uplink (UL) within a carrier in a time division duplex (TDD) band. SBFD may also be read as XDD (Cross Division Duplex) (see, for example, Non-Patent Document 1). [Prior art documents] [Non-patent literature]

[0004] [Non-Patent Document 1] "New WID: Evolution of NR duplex operation: Sub-band full duplex (SBFD)", RP-234035, 3GPP TSG RAN#102, 3GPP, December 2023 Summary of the Invention

[0005] Incidentally, a configuration in which transmission and reception are limited to only SBFD symbols or non-SBFD symbols (hereinafter referred to as Configuration 1), and a configuration in which transmission and reception are possible using SBFD symbols and non-SBFD symbols (hereinafter referred to as Configuration 2) are possible.

[0006] Under such circumstances, the inventors have conducted extensive research and have focused on a case in which multiple PDSCHs (Physical Downlink Shared Channels) are scheduled by one DCI (Downlink Control Information) in Configuration 1. Assuming bundling of acknowledgements (HARQ (Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request)-ACK feedback) for PDSCHs in such a case, if the symbol type of a PDSCH occasion includes an invalid symbol type, the bundled HARQ-ACK feedback will always be a NACK, and the bundled HARQ-ACK feedback will become a meaningless value.

[0007] Therefore, the present disclosure has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems, and aims to provide a terminal, a base station, a wireless communication system, and a wireless communication method that can appropriately operate bundling of HARQ-ACK feedback for Configuration 1 when SBFD is assumed.

[0008] The disclosed aspect is a terminal including: a communication unit that communicates with a cell to which a duplexing method is applied that can perform simultaneous communication of uplink signals and downlink signals within a time division duplex band; and a control unit that, in a setting in which transmission of the uplink signal or reception of the downlink signal is limited to either a first symbol to which the duplexing method is not applied or a second symbol to which the duplexing method is applied, performs bundling of acknowledgement responses to a plurality of downlink channels scheduled by one downlink control information, excluding an influence of a downlink channel among the plurality of downlink channels that includes a symbol type that is disabled due to the setting.

[0009] A disclosed aspect is a base station including: a communication unit that communicates with a terminal via a duplex cell that can perform simultaneous communication of uplink signals and downlink signals within a time division duplex band; and a control unit that, in a setting in which transmission of the uplink signal or reception of the downlink signal is limited to either a first symbol to which the duplex method is not applied or a second symbol to which the duplex method is applied, assumes that the terminal will perform bundling of acknowledgement responses to the multiple downlink channels, excluding an influence of a downlink channel that includes a symbol type that is disabled due to the setting, among the multiple downlink channels, when bundling of acknowledgement responses to the multiple downlink channels scheduled by one downlink control information is performed.

[0010] An aspect of the disclosure is a wireless communication system including a terminal and a base station, wherein the terminal includes a communication unit that communicates with a cell to which a duplexing method is applied that can perform simultaneous communication of uplink signals and downlink signals within a time division duplex band, and a control unit that, in a setting in which transmission of the uplink signal or reception of the downlink signal is limited to either a first symbol to which the duplexing method is not applied or a second symbol to which the duplexing method is applied, performs bundling of acknowledgement responses to the multiple downlink channels scheduled by one downlink control information, excluding an influence of a downlink channel among the multiple downlink channels that includes a symbol type that is disabled due to the setting.

[0011] A disclosed aspect is a wireless communication method comprising: a step A of communicating with a cell to which a duplexing method is applied that can perform simultaneous communication of uplink signals and downlink signals within a time division duplex band; and a step B of performing bundling of acknowledgements for a plurality of downlink channels scheduled by one downlink control information in a setting in which transmission of the uplink signal or reception of the downlink signal is limited to either a first symbol to which the duplexing method is not applied or a second symbol to which the duplexing method is applied, excluding an influence of a downlink channel among the plurality of downlink channels that includes a symbol type that is disabled due to the setting. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0013] Hereinafter, embodiments will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that the same or similar reference numerals are used to designate the same functions or configurations, and descriptions thereof will be omitted as appropriate.

[0014] (1) Overall configuration of the wireless communication system 1 is a schematic diagram of the overall configuration of a wireless communication system 10 according to an embodiment. The wireless communication system 10 is a wireless communication system conforming to 5G New Radio (NR) and includes a Next Generation-Radio Access Network 20 (hereinafter, NG-RAN 20) and a terminal 200 (hereinafter, UE (User Equipment) 200).

[0015] The wireless communication system 10 may be a wireless communication system conforming to a system called Beyond 5G, 5G Evolution, or 6G.

[0016] The NG-RAN 20 includes a base station 100 (hereinafter, gNB 100). Note that the specific configuration of the wireless communication system 10, including the number of gNBs 100 and UEs 200, is not limited to the example shown in FIG.

[0017] The NG-RAN 20 actually includes a plurality of NG-RAN nodes, specifically, gNBs (or ng-eNBs), and is connected to a 5G-compliant core network (5GC, not shown). The NG-RAN 20 and the 5GC may be simply referred to as a "network."

[0018] The gNB 100 is a radio base station conforming to 5G, and performs 5G radio communication with the UE 200. The gNB 100 and the UE 200 are capable of supporting Massive MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output), which generates a more directional beam BM by controlling radio signals transmitted from multiple antenna elements, Carrier Aggregation (CA), which aggregates and uses multiple component carriers (CCs), and Dual Connectivity (DC), which simultaneously communicates on two or more transport blocks between the UE and each of two NG-RAN nodes.

[0019] The wireless communication system 10 also supports a plurality of frequency ranges (FR).

[0020] First, the wireless communication system 10 may support multiple frequency ranges (FR) as shown in Fig. 2. For example, the wireless communication system 10 supports FR1, FR2-1, and FR2-2. The frequency bands of each FR are as follows:

[0021] FR1: 410 MHz to 7.125 GHz FR2-1: 24.25 GHz to 52.6 GHz ·FR2-2: More than 52.6GHz~71GHz FR1 may use a Sub-Carrier Spacing (SCS) of 15, 30, or 60 kHz, and may use a bandwidth (BW) of 5 to 100 MHz. FR2 is a higher frequency than FR1, and may use an SCS of 60 kHz or 120 kHz (including 240 kHz), and may use a bandwidth (BW) of 50 to 400 MHz.

[0022] Note that SCS may be interpreted as numerology, which is defined in 3GPP TS38.300 and corresponds to one subcarrier spacing in the frequency domain.

[0023] Furthermore, the wireless communication system 10 may also be compatible with frequency bands higher than the FR2 frequency band. Specifically, the wireless communication system 10 may be compatible with frequency bands exceeding 52.6 GHz up to 71 GHz or 114.25 GHz.

[0024] Second, the wireless communication system 10 may support the radio frames, subframes, and slots shown in FIG.

[0025] As shown in Figure 3, one slot consists of 14 symbols, and the larger (wider) the SCS, the shorter the symbol period (and slot period). In addition to 15 kHz, 30 kHz, 60 kHz, 120 kHz, and 240 kHz, the SCS may also use 480 kHz, 960 kHz, etc.

[0026] Furthermore, the number of symbols constituting one slot does not necessarily have to be 14 (for example, 28 symbols or 56 symbols). Furthermore, the number of slots per subframe may differ depending on the SCS.

[0027] The time direction (t) shown in Fig. 3 may be called a time domain, a symbol period, or a symbol time, etc. The frequency direction may be called a frequency domain, a resource block, a subcarrier, a bandwidth part (BWP), etc.

[0028] (2) Functional block configuration of wireless communication system Next, the functional block configuration of the wireless communication system 10 will be described.

[0029] First, the functional block configuration of the UE 200 will be described.

[0030] Fig. 4 is a functional block diagram of UE 200. As shown in Fig. 4, UE 200 includes radio signal transmitting / receiving unit 210, amplifier unit 220, modem unit 230, control signal / reference signal processing unit 240, encoding / decoding unit 250, data transmitting / receiving unit 260, and control unit 270.

[0031] The radio signal transmitting / receiving unit 210 transmits and receives radio signals conforming to NR. The radio signal transmitting / receiving unit 210 supports Massive MIMO, CA that uses a bundle of multiple CCs, and DC that simultaneously communicates between a UE and two NG-RAN nodes.

[0032] In the embodiment, the radio signal transceiver 210 may constitute a communication unit that communicates with a duplex cell capable of simultaneous communication of an uplink signal (hereinafter, referred to as an UL signal) and a downlink signal (hereinafter, referred to as a DL signal) within a time division duplex band. Note that a new duplex cell capable of simultaneous communication of an UL signal and a DL signal may be referred to as SBFD (Sub-Band non-overlapping Full Duplex). SBFD may be read as XDD (Cross Division Duplex).

[0033] Simultaneous communication of UL signals and DL signals may be performed using specific time resources. The specific time resources are time resources to which SBFD can be applied. The specific time resources may also be interpreted as SBFD resources (SBFD symbols / slots) that are semi-statically or dynamically configured in the time direction (or the time domain). The specific time resources may also be interpreted as resources in which UL sub-band(s) and DL sub-band(s) are simultaneously configured semi-statically or dynamically in the time direction (or the time domain).

[0034] The duplex mode cell may be referred to as an SBFD operation cell or an SBFD cell. The additional cell may be referred to as an Additional PCI (Physical Cell Identifier) Cell. The Additional PCI Cell may include a cell that operates in SBFD (SBFD operation cell) or a cell that does not operate in SBFD (Non-SBFD operation cell or Non-SBFD cell).

[0035] The amplifier unit 220 is configured by a PA (Power Amplifier) / LNA (Low Noise Amplifier), etc. The amplifier unit 220 amplifies the signal output from the modulation / demodulation unit 230 to a predetermined power level. The amplifier unit 220 also amplifies the RF signal output from the radio signal transmission / reception unit 210.

[0036] The modem unit 230 performs data modulation / demodulation, transmission power setting, resource block allocation, etc. for each predetermined communication destination (gNB 100 or another gNB). The modem unit 230 may apply Cyclic Prefix-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (CP-OFDM) / Discrete Fourier Transform - Spread (DFT-S-OFDM). Furthermore, DFT-S-OFDM may be used not only for the uplink (UL) but also for the downlink (DL).

[0037] The control signal / reference signal processor 240 performs processing related to various control signals transmitted and received by the UE 200 and processing related to various reference signals transmitted and received by the UE 200 .

[0038] Specifically, the control signal / reference signal processor 240 receives various control signals, for example, control signals of a radio resource control layer (RRC), transmitted via a predetermined control channel from the gNB 100. The control signal / reference signal processor 240 also transmits various control signals to the gNB 100 via a predetermined control channel.

[0039] The control signal / reference signal processor 240 performs processing using reference signals (RS) such as a Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) and a Phase Tracking Reference Signal (PTRS).

[0040] DMRS is a reference signal (pilot signal) known between the base station and the terminal for estimating the fading channel used for data demodulation. PTRS is a terminal-specific reference signal for estimating phase noise, which is an issue in high frequency bands.

[0041] In addition to the DMRS and PTRS, the reference signals may include a Channel State Information-Reference Signal (CSI-RS), a Sounding Reference Signal (SRS), and a Positioning Reference Signal (PRS) for position information.

[0042] The channels include control channels and data channels, such as a PDCCH (Physical Downlink Control Channel), a PUCCH (Physical Uplink Control Channel), a RACH (Random Access Channel), Downlink Control Information (DCI) including a Random Access Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RA-RNTI), and a Physical Broadcast Channel (PBCH).

[0043] Furthermore, the data channel includes a PDSCH (Physical Downlink Shared Channel) and a PUSCH (Physical Uplink Shared Channel). Data refers to data transmitted via the data channel. The data channel may be interpreted as a shared channel.

[0044] Here, the control signal and reference signal processor 240 may receive downlink control information (DCI). The DCI includes existing fields for storing DCI Formats, Carrier indicator (CI), BWP indicator, Frequency Domain Resource Assignment (FDRA), Time Domain Resource Assignment (TDRA), Modulation and Coding Scheme (MCS), HARQ Process Number (HPN), New Data Indicator (NDI), Redundancy Version (RV), etc.

[0045] The value stored in the DCI Format field is an information element that specifies the format of the DCI. The value stored in the CI field is an information element that specifies the CC to which the DCI applies. The value stored in the BWP indicator field is an information element that specifies the BWP to which the DCI applies. The BWP that can be specified by the BWP indicator is set by an information element (BandwidthPart-Config) included in the RRC message. The value stored in the FDRA field is an information element that specifies the frequency domain resource to which the DCI applies. The frequency domain resource is identified by the value stored in the FDRA field and an information element (RA Type) included in the RRC message. The value stored in the TDRA field is an information element that specifies the time domain resource to which the DCI applies. The time domain resource is identified by the value stored in the TDRA field and information elements (pdsch-TimeDomainAllocationList, pusch-TimeDomainAllocationList) included in the RRC message. The time domain resource may be identified by the value stored in the TDRA field and a default table. The value stored in the MCS field is an information element that specifies the MCS to which the DCI applies. The MCS is identified by the value stored in the MCS and an MCS table. The MCS table may be specified by an RRC message or may be determined by RNTI scrambling. The value stored in the HPN field is an information element that specifies the HARQ process to which the DCI is applied. The value stored in the NDI field is an information element for specifying whether the data to which the DCI is applied is initial transmission data. The value stored in the RV field is an information element that specifies the redundancy of the data to which the DCI is applied.

[0046] The encoding / decoding unit 250 performs data division / concatenation and channel coding / decoding for each predetermined communication destination (gNB100 or another gNB).

[0047] Specifically, the encoding / decoding unit 250 divides the data output from the data transmitting / receiving unit 260 into pieces of a predetermined size, performs channel coding on the divided data, decodes the data output from the modem unit 230, and concatenates the decoded data.

[0048] The data transmitter / receiver 260 transmits and receives Protocol Data Units (PDUs) and Service Data Units (SDUs). Specifically, the data transmitter / receiver 260 assembles and disassembles PDUs / SDUs in multiple layers (such as a Medium Access Control layer (MAC), a Radio Link Control layer (RLC), and a Packet Data Convergence Protocol layer (PDCP)). The data transmitter / receiver 260 also performs data error correction and retransmission control based on HARQ (Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request).

[0049] The control unit 270 controls each functional block constituting the UE 200. In an embodiment, the control unit 270 may be configured as a control unit that, when bundling of acknowledgements for multiple downlink channels (PDSCHs) scheduled by one downlink control information (DCI) is performed in a configuration (Configuration 1) in which transmission of uplink signals or reception of downlink signals is limited to either a first symbol (Non-SBFD symbol) to which the duplex duplex scheme (SBFD) is not applied or a second symbol (SBFD symbol) to which the duplex duplex scheme (SBFD) is applied, performs bundling of acknowledgements for multiple downlink channels while excluding the influence of downlink channels including a symbol type (Invalid symbol type) that is invalid due to the configuration (Configuration 1) among the multiple downlink channels. The above configuration may be referred to as a first configuration to distinguish it from a second configuration (Configuration 2) in which transmission of uplink signals or reception of downlink signals is permitted in both the first symbol (Non-SBFD symbol) and the second symbol (SBFD symbol). The uplink signal may be interpreted as a PUCCH, a PUSCH, an SRS, a UCI, a CSI report, an SR (Scheduling Request) report, etc. The downlink signal may be interpreted as a PDCCH, a PDSCH, a CSI-RS, etc.

[0050] A symbol type that is invalid according to Configuration 1 may be referred to as an invalid symbol type. For example, if a valid symbol type is a non-SBFD symbol type in Configuration 1, the invalid symbol type is an SBFD symbol type. On the other hand, if a valid symbol type is an SBFD symbol type in Configuration 1, the invalid symbol type is a non-SBFD symbol type. Note that a valid symbol type may simply be referred to as a valid symbol, an invalid symbol type may simply be referred to as an invalid symbol, an SBFD symbol type may simply be referred to as an SBFD symbol, and a non-SBFD symbol type may simply be referred to as a non-SBFD symbol.

[0051] Valid symbol types may be determined as follows:

[0052] For semi-statically configured transmission or reception without Activation DCI, the valid symbol type may be explicitly configured by RRC.

[0053] For dynamically configured transmissions or receptions, the valid symbol type may be the symbol type of the first transmission or reception.

[0054] For PUCCH, PUSCH, type 2 CG PUSCH, SPS PDSCH, and Semi-persistent SRS, the valid symbol type may be determined according to the following options:

[0055] In option 1, the valid symbol type of SP-CSI on PUCCH or PUSCH may be explicitly configured by CSI-ReportConfig. The valid symbol type of type 2 CG PUSCH may be explicitly configured by ConfiguredGrantConfig. The valid symbol type of SPS PDSCH may be explicitly configured by SPS-Config. The valid symbol type of semi-persistent SRS may be explicitly configured by SRS-Config, SRS-ResourceSet, or SRS-Resource.

[0056] In option 2, the valid symbol type of SP-CSI on the PUCCH or PUSCH may be determined based on the symbol type of the first PUCCH or PUSCH after activation, or may be explicitly set by the CSI-ReportConfig. Type 2 The valid symbol type of the CG PUSCH may be determined based on the symbol type of the first CG PUSCH associated with the Activation DCI. The valid symbol type of the SPS PDSCH may be determined based on the symbol type of the first SPS PDSCH associated with the Activation DCI. The valid symbol type of the semi-persistent SRS may be determined based on the symbol type of the first SRS after activation.

[0057] Secondly, we will explain the functional block configuration of gNB100.

[0058] Fig. 5 is a functional block diagram of the gNB 100. As shown in Fig. 5, the gNB 100 includes a receiving unit 110, a transmitting unit 120, and a control unit 130.

[0059] The receiving unit 110 receives various signals from the UE 200. The receiving unit 110 may receive an UL signal via a PUCCH or a PUSCH.

[0060] The transmitter 120 transmits various signals to the UE 200. The transmitter 120 may transmit the DL signal via the PDCCH or the PDSCH.

[0061] In an embodiment, the receiving unit 110 and the transmitting unit 120 may constitute a communication unit that communicates with the UE 200 via a SBFD operation cell that can perform simultaneous communication of UL signals and DL signals within the TDD band.

[0062] The control unit 130 controls the gNB 100. In an embodiment, the control unit 130 may be configured to assume that, in a configuration in which uplink signal transmission or downlink signal reception is limited to either a first symbol (Non-SBFD symbol) to which the duplex duplex scheme (SBFD) is not applied or a second symbol (SBFD symbol) to which the duplex duplex scheme (SBFD) is applied, when bundling of acknowledgements for multiple downlink channels (PDSCHs) scheduled by one downlink control information (DCI) is performed in Configuration 1, the UE 200 performs bundling of acknowledgements for multiple downlink channels, excluding the influence of a downlink channel including a symbol that is disabled due to the configuration (Configuration 1) among the multiple downlink channels.

[0063] (3) Issues First, we will explain resource allocation for gNB100.

[0064] In 3GPP Releases 15, 16, and 17, the gNB 100 sets or designates "DL," "F (Flexible)," or "UL" for each symbol, as shown in the upper part of Figure 6. Simultaneous communication of DL signals and UL signals is not permitted in a certain time resource.

[0065] On the other hand, in 3GPP Release 18, as shown in the lower part of Figure 6, the gNB 100 sets or designates "DL" for symbols of certain frequency resources (e.g., sub-band(s)) and sets or designates "UL" for symbols of other frequency resources (e.g., sub-band(s)). Simultaneous communication of DL signals and UL signals is permitted in certain time resources. This method may be referred to as SBFD (Sub-Band non-overlapping Full Duplex).

[0066] Here, PRBs constituting a DL BWP of a non-SBFD symbol and a DL sub-band of an SBFD symbol may be referred to as DL usable PRB(s). PRBs constituting a UL BWP of a non-SBFD symbol and a UL sub-band of an SBFD symbol may be referred to as UL usable PRB(s).

[0067] Second, repeated transmission between SBFD and non-SBFD for uplink channels such as PUCCH, PUSCH, and SRS will be described. In such a case, as shown in Fig. 7, a first configuration (Configuration 1) in which transmission and reception are limited to only SBFD symbols or non-SBFD symbols, and a second configuration (Configuration 2) in which transmission and reception are possible using SBFD symbols and non-SBFD symbols are assumed. Note that Fig. 7 illustrates an example in which Configuration 1 and Configuration 2 are applied to uplink signals, but Configuration 1 and Configuration 2 may also be applied to downlink signals.

[0068] Third, bundling of acknowledgements (HARQ-ACK feedback) for multiple downlink channels (PDSCHs) scheduled by one downlink control information (DCI) will be described. Here, Type 1 HARQ-ACK feedback will be exemplified, but bundling may also be applicable to Type 2 HARQ-ACK feedback.

[0069] As shown in the upper part of FIG. 8, when bundling is not performed in the time domain, HARQ-ACK feedback including HARQ-ACK information corresponding to each of a plurality of PDSCHs is transmitted by PUCCH.

[0070] As shown in the lower part of Figure 8, when bundling is performed in the time domain, the logical product of HARQ-ACK information corresponding to each of multiple PDSCHs (TBs (Transport Blocks)) is calculated, and then ARQ-ACK feedback including the result of the calculated logical product (ACK / NACK information) is transmitted via PUCCH.

[0071] Under such circumstances, as a result of extensive investigation, the inventors have focused on a case in which multiple PDSCHs are scheduled by one DCI in Configuration 1 (multi-PDSCH scheduling), and have found that when bundling of HARQ-ACK feedback for PDSCHs is assumed in such a case, if the symbol type of the PDSCH occasion includes an invalid symbol type, the bundled HARQ-ACK feedback always becomes a NACK, and the bundled HARQ-ACK feedback becomes a meaningless value.

[0072] Specifically, as shown in Fig. 9, a case will be illustrated in which PDSCHs #0 to #7 are scheduled by one DCI (PDCCH). In such a case, in the existing technology, when PDSCH #4 overlaps with a UL symbol, the influence of the PDSCH overlapping with the UL symbol is excluded and bundling of HARQ-ACK feedback for multiple PDSCHs is performed.

[0073] However, when SBFD is set to Configuration 1, no consideration is given to a PDSCH that overlaps with an invalid symbol. For example, when the PDSCH of #2 overlaps with an invalid symbol, the value of the HARQ-ACK feedback (information) for the PDSCH of #2 is NACK, and therefore the logical AND of values including NACK always results in NACK.

[0074] (4) Definitions The following explains the definitions of terms related to SBFD.

[0075] The SBFD operation cell is a cell in which the position of the SBFD sub-band in the time or frequency direction is configured in the serving cell.

[0076] A non-SBFD operation cell is a cell in which no SBFD sub-bands are configured in the serving cell.

[0077] A semi-static DL slot / symbol is a slot / symbol that is configured as DL by higher layer parameters (tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationCommon or tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationDedicated).

[0078] A semi-static UL slot / symbol is a slot / symbol configured as a UL by higher layer parameters (tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationCommon or tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationDedicated).

[0079] A semi-static flexible slot / symbol is a slot / symbol that is configured as Flexible by the upper layer parameters (tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationCommon or tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationDedicated).

[0080] A Dynamic DL slot / symbol is a slot / symbol that is set as Flexible by higher layer parameters (tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationCommon or tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationDedicated) and is specified as DL by DCI Format 2_0.

[0081] A Dynamic UL slot / symbol is a slot / symbol that is set as Flexible by higher layer parameters (tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationCommon or tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationDedicated) and is specified as UL by DCI Format 2_0.

[0082] A dynamic flexible slot / symbol is a slot / symbol that is set as Flexible by higher layer parameters (tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationCommon or tdd-UL-DL-ConfigurationDedicated) and is specified as Flexible by DCI Format 2_0.

[0083] (5) Example of operation In order to solve the above-described problem, the following operation example may be defined. Specifically, when multi-PDSCH scheduling and bundling of HARQ-ACK feedback are performed in Configuration 1, UE 200 performs bundling of HARQ-ACK feedback for multiple PDSCHs while excluding the influence of PDSCHs including invalid symbol types among multiple PDSCHs. The following operation example is considered as an operation example.

[0084] (5.1) Example 1 In operation example 1, Type 1 HARQ-ACK feedback for multi-PDSCH scheduled by one DCI will be described. That is, a case will be described in which Type 1 HARQ-ACK CB (Code Book) is applied to multi-PDSCH scheduled by one DCI.

[0085] The Type 1 HARQ-ACK CB scheme is a scheme in which a semi-static codebook is set for the acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK feedback).

[0086] In the existing technology, when bundling is configured in the time domain, 1-bit ACK / NACK information is generated for multi-PDSCHs scheduled by one DCI. 1-bit ACK / NACK information may be generated for each TB (Transport Block). For each row of the TDRA, ACK / NACK information is generated by performing a binary AND operation on the HARQ-ACK information for PDSCHs that do not overlap with the UL symbol.

[0087] In the existing technology, when bundling is not configured in the time domain, ACK / NACK information is generated for each PDSCH occasion scheduled by one DCI.

[0088] In the existing technology, for Type 1 HARQ-ACK CB, the transmission power of the PUCCH is determined based on the number of PDSCH occasions. When bundling is configured in the time domain, the UE 200 assumes that only one PDSCH associated with the most recent SLIV (Start and Length Indicator) has been received.

[0089] In the above-described situation, in operation example 1, in a case where bundling of HARQ-ACK feedback is performed in Configuration 1, if a semi-static codebook (Type 1 HARQ-ACK CB) is configured for HARQ-ACK feedback, UE 200 may calculate a logical product of acknowledgments (HARQ-ACK information) for PDSCHs that do not include a symbol type (invalid symbol type) that is invalid according to Configuration 1 as a result of bundling of HARQ-ACK feedback for multiple PDSCHs. A PDSCH that does not include an invalid symbol type may be interpreted as a PDSCH that does not overlap with the invalid symbol type.

[0090] In the first operational example, the case where bundling of HARQ-ACK feedback for multiple PDSCHs is performed may be interpreted as the case where a higher layer parameter (timeDomainHARQ-BundlingType1) is provided.

[0091] As in the existing technology, UE 200 may calculate the logical product of acknowledgements (HARQ-ACK information) for PDSCHs that do not overlap with UL symbols. That is, UE 200 may calculate the logical product of acknowledgements (HARQ-ACK information) for PDSCHs that do not overlap with invalid symbol types and that do not overlap with UL symbols. The following example is considered as an example.

[0092] In Example 1-A, when the Valid symbol type is SBFD symbol type for multiple PDSCHs scheduled by one DCI, ACK / NACK information is determined as a result of a logical AND of HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the first / second / all TBs for PDSCH repetitions scheduled by one PDSCH that do not overlap with UL symbols and do not overlap with non-SBFD symbols.

[0093] Example 1-A may be expressed as follows: When the Valid symbol type is the SBFD symbol type for multiple PDSCHs scheduled by one DCI, the ACK / NACK information is determined as a result of a logical AND of the HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the first / second / all TBs for the PDSCH repetitions scheduled by one PDSCH and included in the SBFD symbol. It should be noted that in this interpretation, since the Valid symbol type is the SBFD symbol type, there is no need to impose a requirement that there be no overlap with the UL symbol.

[0094] In Example 1-B, when the Valid symbol type is Non-SBFD symbol type for multiple PDSCHs scheduled by one DCI, ACK / NACK information is determined as a result of a logical AND of HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the first / second / all TBs for PDSCH repetitions scheduled by one PDSCH that do not overlap with a UL symbol and do not overlap with an SBFD symbol.

[0095] Example 1-B may be expressed as follows: When the Valid symbol type is Non-SBFD symbol type for multiple PDSCHs scheduled by one DCI, ACK / NACK information is determined as a result of a logical AND of HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the first / second / all TBs for PDSCH repetitions scheduled by one PDSCH, which do not overlap with a UL symbol and are included in the Non-SBFD symbol.

[0096] Based on the above-described embodiment, §9.1.2.1 “Type-1 HARQ-ACK codebook in physical uplink control channel” of 3GPP TS38.213 may be modified as follows:

[0097] In Example 1-X, the description of §9.1.2.1 “Type-1 HARQ-ACK codebook in physical uplink control channel” of 3GPP TS38.213 may be modified by introducing the expression “not overlap with invalid SBFD or non-SBFD symbol” as shown in Figures 10 and 11. Note that in Figures 10 and 11, modifications to the existing technology are underlined.

[0098] In Example 1-Y, as shown in Figures 12 and 13, the description of §9.1.2.1 "Type-1 HARQ-ACK codebook in physical uplink control channel" of 3GPP TS38.213 may be modified by introducing expressions such as "not overlap with SBFD symbol if the valid symbol type is non-SBFD" and "not overlap with non-SBFD symbol if the valid symbol type is SBFD." Note that in Figures 12 and 13, modifications to the existing technology are underlined.

[0099] (5.2) Example 2 In operation example 2, Type 2 HARQ-ACK feedback for multi-PDSCH scheduled by one DCI will be described. That is, a case will be described in which Type 2 HARQ-ACK CB (Code Book) is applied to multi-PDSCH scheduled by one DCI.

[0100] The Type 2 HARQ-ACK CB scheme is a scheme in which a dynamic codebook is set for the acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK feedback).

[0101] In the existing technology, when bundling is configured in the time domain, for a Transport Block Group (TBG) including a PDSCH that does not overlap with a UL symbol, the ACK / NACK information of the TBG is generated by a binary AND operation of the HARQ-ACK information of the PDSCH included in the TBG, assuming that the PDSCH that overlaps with the UL symbol is an ACK. For a TBG that only includes a PDSCH that overlaps with a UL symbol, a NACK is generated.

[0102] In the existing technology, when bundling is not configured in the time domain, ACK / NACK information is generated for each scheduled PDSCH in ascending order of the PDSCH, and NACK is generated for PDSCHs that overlap with UL symbols.

[0103] In the existing technology, for Type 2 HARQ-ACK CB, when bundling is configured in the time domain, the transmit power of the PUCCH is determined based on the number of TBGs that include at least one PDSCH that does not overlap with a UL symbol. When bundling is not configured in the time domain, the transmit power of the PUCCH is determined based on the number of received PDSCHs.

[0104] In the above-described situation, in operation example 2, in a case where bundling of HARQ-ACK feedback is performed in Configuration 1, when a dynamic codebook (Type 2 HARQ-ACK CB) is configured for HARQ-ACK feedback and a bundling group (TBG) is configured, UE 200 may, as a result of bundling of HARQ-ACK feedback for multiple PDSCHs, calculate a logical product of the acknowledgments (HARQ-ACK information) for PDSCHs included in the bundling group (TBG), assuming that the acknowledgments (HARQ-ACK information) for PDSCHs that overlap with symbols (invalid symbol type) that are invalid due to Configuration 1 are positive (ACK).

[0105] In the second operational example, the case where bundling of HARQ-ACK feedback for multiple PDSCHs is performed may be interpreted as the case where higher layer parameters (nrofHARQ-BundlingGroups) are provided. The case where a bundling group is configured may be interpreted as the case where higher layer parameters (nrofHARQ-BundlingGroups) are provided.

[0106] As in the existing technology, UE 200 may generate ACK / NACK information of a TBG by performing a binary AND operation on HARQ-ACK information of PDSCHs included in a TBG, assuming that HARQ-ACK information for a PDSCH that overlaps with a UL symbol is an ACK, for a TBG including a PDSCH that does not overlap with a UL symbol. That is, UE 20 may generate ACK / NACK information of a TBG by performing a binary AND operation on HARQ-ACK information of PDSCHs included in a TBG, assuming that HARQ-ACK information for a PDSCH that overlaps with an invalid symbol type or a UL symbol is an ACK, for a TBG including a PDSCH that does not overlap with an invalid symbol type and does not overlap with a UL symbol.

[0107] Under the above-described circumstances, in the second operation example, in the case where bundling of HARQ-ACK feedback is performed in the configuration 1, the UE 200 may generate a NACK for a TBG including only a PDSCH that overlaps with the invalid symbol type.

[0108] Note that, similarly to existing techniques, the UE 200 may generate a NACK for a TBG that includes only a PDSCH that overlaps with a UL symbol, i.e., the UE 200 may generate a NACK for an invalid symbol type or a TBG that includes only a PDSCH that overlaps with a UL symbol.

[0109] Based on the above-described embodiment, §9.1.3.1 “Type-2 HARQ-ACK codebook in physical uplink control channel” of 3GPP TS38.213 may be modified as follows:

[0110] In Example 2-X, the description of §9.1.3.1 “Type-2 HARQ-ACK codebook in physical uplink control channel” of 3GPP TS38.213 may be modified by introducing the expression “not overlap with invalid SBFD or non-SBFD symbol” as shown in Figures 14 and 15. Note that in Figures 14 and 15, modifications to the existing technology are underlined.

[0111] In operation example 2, the number of TBGs (e.g., N_m,c^received,TBG) used in calculating the transmission power of the PUCCH for Type 2 HARQ-ACK CB may be the number of TBGs that include at least one PDSCH that does not overlap with an invalid symbol type (invalid SBFD symbol type or invalid non-SBFD symbol type).

[0112] Note that, similarly to existing techniques, the number of TBGs (e.g., N_m,ĉreceived,TBG) used in calculating the transmission power of PUCCH for Type 2 HARQ-ACK CB may be the number of TBGs including at least one PDSCH that does not overlap with a UL symbol. That is, the number of TBGs (e.g., N_m,ĉreceived,TBG) used in calculating the transmission power of PUCCH for Type 2 HARQ-ACK CB may be the number of TBGs including an invalid symbol type and at least one PDSCH that does not overlap with a UL symbol.

[0113] Based on the above-described embodiment, §9.1.3.1 “Type-2 HARQ-ACK codebook in physical uplink control channel” of 3GPP TS38.213 may be modified as follows:

[0114] In Example 2-Y, the description of §9.1.3.1 "Type-2 HARQ-ACK codebook in physical uplink control channel" of 3GPP TS38.213 may be modified by introducing the expression "not overlap with invalid SBFD or non-SBFD symbol" as shown in Fig. 16. Note that in Fig. 16, modifications to the existing technology are underlined.

[0115] (5.3) Other examples of operation The operation of excluding the influence of a PDSCH including an invalid symbol type may include an operation of excluding HARQ-ACK information for a PDSCH including an invalid symbol type from the targets of the logical product, as described in the first operational example.

[0116] The operation of removing the influence of a PDSCH including an invalid symbol type may include an operation of assuming that HARQ-ACK information for a PDSCH including an invalid symbol type is an ACK, as described in the second operation example.

[0117] In the second example of operation, a case may be considered in which no bundling group is configured, i.e., the higher layer parameter (nrofHARQ-BundlingGroups) is not provided. In such a case, the UE 200 may generate ACK / NACK information for each scheduled PDSCH in ascending order of the PDSCH. The UE 200 may generate a NACK for a PDSCH with an invalid symbol type or that overlaps with a UL symbol.

[0118] (6) Action and effect In the embodiment, when multi-PDSCH scheduling and bundling of HARQ-ACK feedback are performed in Configuration 1, UE 200 performs bundling of HARQ-ACK feedback for multiple PDSCHs while excluding the influence of PDSCHs including invalid symbol types among multiple PDSCHs. With this configuration, it is possible to avoid a situation where bundled HARQ-ACK feedback always becomes NACK, and it is possible to appropriately operate bundling of HARQ-ACK feedback for Configuration 1 when SBFD is assumed.

For example, the aspects / embodiments of the present disclosure may be applied to a configuration in which communication between a base station and a mobile station is replaced with communication between multiple mobile stations (which may be called, for example, Device-to-Device (D2D) or Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X)). In this case, the mobile station may be configured to have the functions of a base station. Furthermore, terms such as "uplink" and "downlink" may be read as terms corresponding to communication between terminals (for example, "side"). For example, terms such as uplink channel and downlink channel may be read as side channel.

[0168] Similarly, a mobile station in the present disclosure may be interpreted as a base station, in which case the base station may have the functions of a mobile station.

[0169] A radio frame may be composed of one or more frames in the time domain, each of which may be called a subframe.

[0170] A subframe may further be composed of one or more slots in the time domain, and may have a fixed time length (e.g., 1 ms) that is independent of numerology.

[0171] Numerology may be a communication parameter applied to at least one of transmission and reception of a signal or channel, such as subcarrier spacing (SCS), bandwidth, symbol length, cyclic prefix length, transmission time interval (TTI), number of symbols per TTI, radio frame structure, specific filtering operations performed by a transceiver in the frequency domain, and specific windowing operations performed by a transceiver in the time domain.

[0172] A slot may consist of one or more symbols in the time domain (such as an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbol or a Single Carrier Frequency Division Multiple Access (SC-FDMA) symbol). A slot may be a time unit based on numerology.

[0173] A slot may include multiple minislots. Each minislot may consist of one or multiple symbols in the time domain. A minislot may also be called a subslot. A minislot may consist of fewer symbols than a slot. A PDSCH (or PUSCH) transmitted in a time unit larger than a minislot may be called PDSCH (or PUSCH) mapping type A. A PDSCH (or PUSCH) transmitted using a minislot may be called PDSCH (or PUSCH) mapping type B.

[0174] The radio frame, subframe, slot, minislot, and symbol all represent time units for transmitting signals, and may be referred to by other names corresponding to the radio frame, subframe, slot, minislot, and symbol.

[0175] For example, one subframe may be called a transmission time interval (TTI), multiple consecutive subframes may be called a TTI, or one slot or one minislot may be called a TTI. That is, at least one of the subframe and the TTI may be a subframe (1 ms) in existing LTE, a period shorter than 1 ms (e.g., 1-13 symbols), or a period longer than 1 ms. Note that the unit representing the TTI may be called a slot, minislot, etc., instead of a subframe.

[0176] Here, TTI refers to, for example, the smallest time unit for scheduling in wireless communication. For example, in an LTE system, a base station performs scheduling to allocate radio resources (such as frequency bandwidth and transmission power that can be used by each user terminal) to each user terminal in TTI units. However, the definition of TTI is not limited to this.

[0177] The TTI may be a transmission time unit for a channel-encoded data packet (transport block), a code block, a code word, etc., or may be a processing unit for scheduling, link adaptation, etc. When a TTI is given, the time interval (e.g., the number of symbols) to which a transport block, a code block, a code word, etc. is actually mapped may be shorter than the TTI.

[0178] When one slot or one minislot is called a TTI, one or more TTIs (i.e., one or more slots or one or more minislots) may be the minimum time unit for scheduling. Also, the number of slots (minislots) constituting the minimum time unit for scheduling may be controlled.

[0179] A TTI having a time length of 1 ms may be called a regular TTI (TTI in LTE Rel. 8-12), normal TTI, long TTI, regular subframe, normal subframe, long subframe, slot, etc. A TTI shorter than a regular TTI may be called a shortened TTI, short TTI, partial or fractional TTI, shortened subframe, short subframe, minislot, subslot, slot, etc.

[0180] In addition, a long TTI (e.g., a normal TTI, a subframe, etc.) may be interpreted as a TTI having a time length of more than 1 ms, and a short TTI (e.g., a shortened TTI, etc.) may be interpreted as a TTI having a TTI length shorter than the TTI length of a long TTI and equal to or greater than 1 ms.

[0181] A resource block (RB) is a resource allocation unit in the time domain and frequency domain, and may include one or more consecutive subcarriers in the frequency domain. The number of subcarriers included in an RB may be the same regardless of numerology, for example, 12. The number of subcarriers included in an RB may also be determined based on numerology.

[0182] The time domain of an RB may include one or more symbols and may have a length of one slot, one minislot, one subframe, or one TTI. One TTI, one subframe, etc. may each be composed of one or more resource blocks.

[0183] Note that one or more RBs may also be called a physical resource block (PRB), a sub-carrier group (SCG), a resource element group (REG), a PRB pair, an RB pair, or the like.

[0184] Furthermore, a resource block may be composed of one or more resource elements (REs). For example, one RE may be a radio resource region of one subcarrier and one symbol.

[0185] A Bandwidth Part (BWP) (which may also be referred to as a fractional bandwidth) may represent a subset of contiguous common resource blocks (RBs) for a given numerology on a given carrier, where the common RBs may be identified by their index relative to a common reference point of the carrier. PRBs may be defined in a given BWP and numbered within that BWP.

[0186] The BWP may include a BWP for UL (UL BWP) and a BWP for DL (DL BWP). One or more BWPs may be configured for a UE within one carrier.

[0187] At least one of the configured BWPs may be active, and the UE may not expect to transmit or receive a given signal / channel outside the active BWP. Note that the terms "cell," "carrier," etc. in this disclosure may be read as "BWP."

[0188] The above-described structures of radio frames, subframes, slots, minislots, symbols, etc. are merely examples. For example, the number of subframes included in a radio frame, the number of slots per subframe or radio frame, the number of minislots included in a slot, the number of symbols and RBs included in a slot or minislot, the number of subcarriers included in an RB, the number of symbols in a TTI, the symbol length, the cyclic prefix (CP) length, etc. may be changed in various ways.

[0189] The terms "connected," "coupled," or any variation thereof, refer to any direct or indirect connection or coupling between two or more elements, and may include the presence of one or more intermediate elements between two elements that are "connected" or "coupled" to each other. The coupling or connection between elements may be physical, logical, or a combination thereof. For example, "connected" may be read as "access." As used in this disclosure, two elements may be considered to be "connected" or "coupled" to each other using one or more wires, cables, and / or printed electrical connections, as well as electromagnetic energy having wavelengths in the radio frequency range, microwave range, and optical (both visible and invisible) range, as some non-limiting and non-exhaustive examples.

[0190] The reference signal may also be abbreviated as Reference Signal (RS), and may also be called a pilot depending on the applicable standard.

[0191] As used in this disclosure, the phrase "based on" does not mean "based only on," unless expressly stated otherwise. In other words, the phrase "based on" means both "based only on" and "based at least on."

[0192] The "means" in the configuration of each of the above devices may be replaced with "part," "circuit," "device," etc.

[0193] As used in this disclosure, any reference to an element using a designation such as "first," "second," etc. does not generally limit the quantity or order of those elements. These designations may be used in this disclosure as a convenient method of distinguishing between two or more elements. Thus, a reference to a first and a second element does not imply that only two elements may be employed therein or that the first element must precede the second element in some way.

[0194] When used in this disclosure, the terms "include," "including," and variations thereof are intended to be inclusive, similar to the term "comprising." Furthermore, when used in this disclosure, the term "or" is not intended to be an exclusive or.

[0195] In this disclosure, where articles are added by translation, such as a, an, and the in English, the disclosure may include that the nouns following these articles are in the plural form.

[0196] As used in this disclosure, the terms "determining" and "determining" may encompass a wide variety of actions. "Determining" and "determining" may include, for example, judging, calculating, computing, processing, deriving, investigating, looking up, searching, inquiring (e.g., searching in a table, database, or other data structure), ascertaining, and the like. "Determining" and "determining" may also include receiving (e.g., receiving information), transmitting (e.g., sending information), input, output, accessing (e.g., accessing data in memory), and the like. Furthermore, "judgment" and "decision" can include regarding resolving, selecting, choosing, establishing, comparing, etc. as having been "judged" or "decided." In other words, "judgment" and "decision" can include regarding some action as having been "judged" or "decided." Furthermore, "judgment (decision)" can be interpreted as "assuming," "expecting," "considering," etc.

[0197] In the present disclosure, the term "A and B are different" may mean "A and B are different from each other." The term may also mean "A and B are each different from C." Terms such as "separate" and "coupled" may also be interpreted in the same way as "different."
