AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Conventional electrochemical devices face a trade-off between high-temperature performance and low-temperature discharge performance, with improvements in one aspect often leading to deterioration in the other.

Method used

Incorporating a lithium-containing transition metal composite oxide and specific compounds in the non-aqueous electrolyte, such as those described by formulas I, II, and III, forms a protective layer that enhances both high-temperature storage and low-temperature discharge performance by improving interfacial transport and stability.

Benefits of technology

The proposed solution results in electrochemical devices with improved high-temperature storage performance and low-temperature discharge performance, achieving a balance between these two critical aspects.
