[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to an airflow control device that controls airflow through an air vent that is opened on the side of a wall so as to connect the inside and outside of a room. [Background technology]

[0002] Some walls, such as curtain walls, are provided with air vents that connect the interior and exterior of the room. At the opening of the air vent, multiple vertical louver members extending up and down are arranged side by side on the left and right sides, preventing rainwater and other outside water from entering the room even while the room is being ventilated. Furthermore, partition members are also provided on the interior side of the vertical louvers to drain water that has entered the room beyond the vertical louvers to the outside (see, for example, Patent Document 1). [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Publication No. 2024-107 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0004] However, water guided to the outside by the partition material may drip onto the upstream side of the air vent, which may result in some of the dripping water passing through when the air vent is open.

[0005] In view of the above circumstances, an object of the present invention is to provide a ventilation control device that can improve water blocking properties. [Means for solving the problem]

[0006] In order to achieve the above object, the ventilation control device of the present invention is an ventilation control device that controls ventilation through air vents that are opened on the side of a wall to connect the inside and outside of the room, and is characterized in that a partition wall section is provided on both sides of the air vent outside the outdoor surface of the wall, and at a position on the outdoor side of the wall that overlaps with the opening of the air vent, multiple vertical louver materials extending up and down are arranged in parallel on the left and right at a position spaced apart from the outdoor surface, and a water-conducting member that blocks communication from above to below is provided in the outer space surrounded by the vertical louver materials, the partition wall section and the wall, and the water-conducting member has a water-conducting channel that leads from the outer space to a position beyond the partition wall section. [Effects of the Invention]

[0007] According to the present invention, even if outside water such as rainwater passes through the vertical louver material and enters the room, the water-guiding member will drain it to a position beyond the partition wall, eliminating the concern that it will pass through the air vent. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0009] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Preferred embodiments of the ventilation control device according to the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. 1 to 9 show ventilation curtain walls to which an air ventilation control device according to an embodiment of the present invention is applied. The ventilation curtain wall 1 illustrated here is configured to form the exterior wall of a building by arranging a standard curtain wall 2 and a divided standard curtain wall 3 vertically and horizontally in combination. The building has a ceiling panel C between an upper floor slab S1 and a lower floor slab S2, thereby defining an interior space below the ceiling panel C and a ceiling space above the ceiling panel C. The ventilation curtain wall 1, standard curtain wall 2, and divided standard curtain wall 3 described above are disposed on the outdoor side of the upper and lower floor slabs S1 and S2. The standard curtain wall 2 is configured by arranging a standard panel 15, such as double-glazed glass, inside a frame 10 formed by a standard upper frame 11, a standard lower frame 12, and left and right standard vertical frames 13 and 14. The divided standard curtain wall 3 is constructed by arranging standard vertical ribs 16 along the top and bottom of a frame body 10 made up of a standard top frame 11, a standard bottom frame 12, and left and right standard vertical frames 13, 14, and disposing standard panels 15 such as double-glazed glass inside each of the ribs. Although not shown in the figure, the standard top frame 11, standard bottom frame 12, standard vertical frames 13, 14, and standard vertical ribs 16 are constructed so that the dimensions of the standard panels 15 along the thickness direction are approximately equal to each other.

[0010] In contrast, the ventilation curtain wall 1 has a frame 20 composed of an upper frame 21, a lower frame 22, and left and right vertical frames 23, 24. Vertical ribs 25 are arranged vertically along the top and bottom of the frame 20. A panel 26, such as double-glazed glass, is arranged on one side of the vertical ribs 25, while a bay window 30 protruding to the outside is arranged on the other side of the vertical ribs 25. The following description will mainly focus on the ventilation curtain wall 1, which has a panel 26 between the vertical frame 25 and the vertical rib 25 when facing the exterior wall of a building from the outside. The panel 26 is located between the vertical frame 23 (hereinafter referred to as the left vertical frame 23) and the vertical rib 25, and the bay window 30 is located between the vertical frame 24 (hereinafter referred to as the right vertical frame 24) and the vertical rib 25. For convenience, the following description will refer to the horizontal direction along the exterior wall surface of the building as the X direction and the horizontal direction perpendicular to the exterior wall surface as the Y direction. In other words, in the illustrated example, the panel 26 is arranged along the X direction, and the bay window 30 is arranged to protrude to the outside of the building in the Y direction.

[0011] The upper frame 21, lower frame 22, left vertical frame 23, right vertical frame 24, and vertical center frame 25 that make up the frame 20 of the ventilation curtain wall 1 are all extruded shapes made of metal such as aluminum alloy, and are configured so that each has a cross-sectional shape that is approximately uniform along its length. Of these, the upper frame 21, lower frame 22, and left vertical frame 23 have the same configuration as the standard upper frame 11, standard lower frame 12, and standard left vertical frame 13, respectively.

[0012] As shown in Figure 10, the upper frame 21 includes an upper frame main body 21a, a storage groove wall 21b, and a panel support portion 21c. The upper frame main body 21a is cylindrical with a substantially rectangular cross section. An upper engagement groove 21d is provided on the upper surface of the upper frame main body 21a, opening upward. The storage groove wall 21b extends from the upper edge of the upper frame main body 21a located on the exterior side of the room in the Y direction toward the exterior side of the room in the Y direction, then bends and extends downward, forming a panel storage groove 21e that opens to the inner periphery between the upper frame main body 21a and the upper frame main body 21a. The panel support portion 21c is cylindrical with a rectangular cross section that is smaller than the upper frame main body 21a and protrudes from the upper edge of the upper frame main body 21a located on the interior side of the room in the Y direction toward the interior side of the room in the Y direction.

[0013] As shown in FIG. 11 , the lower frame 22 has a lower frame main body 22a and a storage groove wall 22b. The lower frame main body 22a extends almost horizontally along the Y direction. The dimension of the lower frame main body 22a along the Y direction is approximately equal to the combined dimension of the upper frame main body 21a and the panel support portion 21c of the upper frame 21. An upper engagement protrusion 22c is provided on the underside of the lower frame main body 22a at a position corresponding to the upper engagement groove 21d of the upper frame 21, and is insertable into the upper engagement groove 21d. The storage groove wall 22b extends downward from an edge of the lower frame main body 22a located on the room exterior in the Y direction, and then extends toward the room exterior in the Y direction. A ledge 22A is attached to the portion of the storage groove wall 22b extending toward the room exterior in the Y direction. The flange 22A extends in the Y direction on the underside of the portion of the storage groove forming wall 22b that extends toward the outside of the room in the Y direction, and then the edge on the outside of the room bends and extends upward, forming a panel storage groove 22d that opens to the inner periphery between the flange 22A and the storage groove forming wall 22b. The panel storage groove 22d of the lower frame 22 is provided in a portion that faces the panel storage groove 21e of the upper frame 21 and is located between the left vertical frame 23 and the vertical center rib 25.

[0014] As shown in Figure 12, the left vertical frame 23 has a left frame main body 23a and a storage groove-forming wall 23b. The left frame main body 23a extends almost vertically along the Y direction. The dimension of the left frame main body 23a along the Y direction is slightly smaller than the combined dimension of the upper frame main body 21a and the panel support portion 21c of the upper frame 21. A lateral engagement groove 23c is provided on the left side of the left frame main body 23a in the X direction, opening to the left in the X direction. The storage groove-forming wall 23b extends to the left in the X direction from the edge of the left frame main body 23a located on the room's outside in the Y direction, and then extends toward the room's outside in the Y direction. A ledge 23A is attached to the storage groove-forming wall 23b. The ledge 23A extends in the Y direction on the left side in the X direction of the portion of the storage groove forming wall portion 23b that extends toward the outside of the room in the Y direction, and then the edge portion on the outside of the room in the Y direction bends and extends to the right side in the X direction, and forms a panel storage groove 23d that opens to the inner periphery between the ledge 23A and the storage groove forming wall portion 23b. The panel storage groove 23d of the left vertical frame 23 is provided over the entire longitudinal length so as to be continuous with the panel storage groove 21e of the upper frame 21 and the panel storage groove 22d of the lower frame 22.

[0015] As shown in FIG. 13 , the right vertical frame 24 has a right frame main body 24a and a bay window groove-forming wall 24b. The right frame main body 24a extends substantially vertically along the Y direction. The dimension of the right frame main body 24a along the Y direction is larger than the dimension of the left frame main body 23a along the Y direction. An auxiliary groove-forming wall 24c and two side protruding walls 24d are provided on the right side of the right frame main body 24a in the X direction. The auxiliary groove-forming wall 24c is flat and extends along the X direction, and is located approximately midway in the Y direction. The side protruding walls 24d each extend along the X direction and are flat, with their extending edges substantially parallel to each other. They are located at positions corresponding to the side engagement grooves 23c of the left vertical frame 23 so as to be insertable into the side engagement grooves 23c. The bay window groove-forming wall portion 24b extends from the Y-direction exterior edge of the right-frame main body portion 24a toward the right in the X-direction, gradually tilting inward in the Y-direction, before bending and extending toward the exterior in the Y-direction. Between the auxiliary groove-forming wall portion 24c and the bay window groove-forming wall portion 24b, an outer wall portion 24e extending along the Y-direction defines a hollow portion 24f between the right-frame main body portion 24a and the auxiliary groove-forming wall portion 24c. A bay window joist 24A is attached to the portion of the outer wall portion 24e to the right of the bay window groove-forming wall portion 24b in the X-direction. The bay window joist 24A extends toward the exterior in the Y-direction along the outer wall portion 24e, then gradually tilts toward the exterior in the Y-direction toward the left in the X-direction, forming a bay window panel storage groove 24g between the bay window groove-forming wall portion 24b and the bay window panel storage groove 24g. The bay window panel storage groove 24g opens toward the left in the X-direction, gradually tilting toward the exterior in the Y-direction. As shown in Figures 3, 4, 6, and 7, the upper ends of the right frame body 24a, outer wall 24e, bay window groove-forming wall 24b, and bay window ledge 24A that protrude further outward in the Y direction than the panel accommodating groove 21e of the upper frame 21 are inclined so as to match an imaginary plane that slopes gradually downward toward the outside in the Y direction and gradually downward toward the left in the X direction. The lowest position of the imaginary plane is set to be above the ceiling panel material C.

[0016] As shown in Figures 8, 9, and 14, the vertical backbone 25 has a backbone main body 25a and an outward protruding portion 25b. The backbone main body 25a has a cylindrical shape with a substantially square cross section. The outward protruding portion 25b has a cylindrical shape with a rectangular cross section. Both the short and long sides of the outward protruding portion 25b are configured to be shorter than one side of the backbone main body 25a. This outward protruding portion 25b protrudes toward the outside of the room in the Y direction from the outer surface of the backbone main body 25a located on the outside of the room in the Y direction. A flange 25A is attached to the left side of the outward protruding portion 25b in the X direction, and a panel receiving groove 25c is formed between the backbone main body 25a and the backbone main body 25a. The panel housing groove 25c of the vertical rib 25 faces the panel housing groove 23d of the left vertical frame 23 and is formed so as to be continuous with the panel housing groove 21e of the top frame 21 and the panel housing groove 22d of the bottom frame 22. A panel 26 is supported between the top frame 21, the bottom frame 22, the left vertical frame 23, and the vertical rib 25 via the respective panel housing grooves 21e, 22d, 23d, and 25c. A left horizontal member 27 is disposed between the left vertical frame 23 and the vertical rib 25 along the left-right direction at a height corresponding to the ceiling panel material C, and a fire-resistant panel 5 is disposed in the area surrounded by the top frame 21 and the left horizontal member 27 via a panel support portion 21c. Similarly, a right horizontal member 28 is erected between the right vertical frame 24 and the vertical center frame 25 along the left-right direction at a height corresponding to the ceiling panel material C, and a fire-resistant panel 5 is arranged in the area surrounded by the upper frame 21 and the right horizontal member 28 via a panel support part 21c.

[0017] Additionally, a backbone attachment (wall) 31 is attached to the vertical backbone 25 via an attachment mounting portion 25d at the inside corner on the right side in the X direction between the backbone main body portion 25a and the outward protrusion portion 25b. The attachment mounting portion 25d is a plurality of protrusions provided for positioning the backbone attachment 31 at the inside corner of the vertical backbone 25. The backbone attachment 31 is an extruded member formed from a metal such as an aluminum alloy, and is configured with an attachment main body 31a and a bay window groove-forming wall portion 31b.

[0018] The attachment body 31a is cylindrical with a trapezoidal cross section, surrounded by a base end wall portion 31c, an inner wall portion 31d, an outer wall portion 31e, and an inclined wall portion 31f, and its dimension along the Y direction is set so that it protrudes further toward the outside of the room in the Y direction than the right vertical frame 24. The base end wall portion 31c extends in the X direction on the inside of the room in the Y direction. The inner wall portion 31d extends from an edge of the base end wall portion 31c located on the right side in the X direction toward the outside of the room in the Y direction. The outer wall portion 31e extends from an edge of the base end wall portion 31c located on the left side in the X direction toward the outside of the room in the Y direction, parallel to the inner wall portion 31d. The extension dimension of the outer wall portion 31e is formed to be shorter than that of the inner wall portion 31d. The inclined wall portion 31f is provided to connect the extended edge of the inner wall portion 31d and the extended edge of the outer wall portion 31e. An inner guide wall portion 31g and an outer guide wall portion 31h, which are substantially parallel to the base end wall portion 31c, are provided inside the attachment body 31a, bridging the inner wall portion 31d and the outer wall portion 31e. The attachment body 31a is attached to the vertical backbone 25 by engaging a plurality of engagement pieces 31i, provided at the corners of the base end wall portion 31c and the outer wall portion 31e, with the attachment mounting portion 25d. An interior cover member 32 is attached to the inner wall portion 31d of the attachment body 31a up to a position that covers a portion of the backbone main body portion 25a. Bay window groove-forming wall portion 31b slopes gradually toward the outside of the room in the Y direction from the connecting portion between inner wall portion 31d and inclined wall portion 31f toward the left in the X direction, and then bends and extends toward the outside of the room in the Y direction. Bay window batten 31A is attached to bay window groove-forming wall portion 31b, and a bay window panel storage groove 31j is formed between bay window batten 31A and bay window batten 31A. Bay window panel storage groove 31j opens gradually toward the inside of the room in the Y direction toward the right in the X direction, thereby facing bay window panel storage groove 24g in the right vertical frame 24. As shown in Figures 3, 4, 6, and 7, the attachment main body 31a, bay window groove-forming wall portion 31b, and bay window batten 31A are sloped so that the upper ends of the portions that protrude toward the outside of the room in the Y direction beyond panel storage groove 21e in the upper frame 21 coincide with the imaginary plane described above.

[0019] The above-mentioned center rib attachment 31 is set so that its lower edge is located slightly above the upper surface of the bottom frame 22 and its upper edge is below the bay window panel storage groove 24g provided in the right vertical frame 24. As shown in Figure 4, a bottom frame attachment 33 is provided opposite the lower ends of the center rib attachment 31 and the interior cover member 32, and an upper frame attachment 34 is provided opposite the upper ends of the center rib attachment 31 and the interior cover member 32.

The cover connecting portion 34b has a flat plate shape that extends from a portion of the attachment main body 34a located on the exterior side of the room in the Y direction toward the exterior side of the room in the Y direction. The upper cover member 34B has a cover main body 34c, a cover plate portion 34d, and a bay window groove forming portion 34e. The cover main body 34c has a rectangular cross section and is tubular, extending along the line connecting the bay window panel storage groove 24g of the right vertical frame 24 and the bay window panel storage groove 31j of the rib attachment 31, as well as along the imaginary plane. The cover plate 34d is flat and extends from the upper edge of the cover main body 34c on the indoor side in the Y direction toward the interior of the room in the Y direction. The edge of the cover plate 34d on the indoor side in the Y direction extends along the X direction. The bay window groove forming portion 34e extends from the upper edge of the cover main body 34c on the outdoor side in the Y direction toward the exterior of the room in the Y direction, then bends and extends downward, forming a bay window panel storage groove 34f that opens downward between the cover main body 34c and itself. The bay window panel storage groove 34f of the upper frame attachment 34 is provided so as to connect the upper ends of the bay window panel storage groove 24g of the right vertical frame 24 and the bay window panel storage groove 31j of the rib attachment 31. A bay window panel 36, such as double-glazed glass, is supported between the right vertical frame 24, rib attachment 31, lower frame attachment 33, and upper frame attachment 34 via the bay window panel storage grooves 24g, 31j, 35c, and 34f. Furthermore, as shown in Figures 3, 4, and 6, an upper end cover 37 is provided above the upper frame attachment 34 to cover the right vertical frame 24 and the vertical rib 25, including the portions that protrude further outside the room in the Y direction than the panel storage groove 21e of the upper frame 21.

Furthermore, the interior cover member 32 is also provided with a cover cutout portion 43 so as to include all of the outer cutouts 41. The width dimension of the cover cutout portion 43 along the left and right is set to be smaller than that of the inner cutout 42 and larger than that of the outer cutout 41.

[0024] A screen door 44 and a ventilation door 45 are provided between the outer wall 31e of the rib attachment 31 and the interior cover member 32. The screen door 44 includes a screen frame 44a and a mesh 44b that covers the opening of the screen frame 44a. The screen door 44 is attached to the rib attachment 31 with the screen frame 44a abutting against the outer wall 31e and the mesh 44b covering all of the outer cutouts 41. The ventilation door 45 is sized to fit in the cover cutout 43 of the interior cover member 32 and is supported by the screen frame 44a via its side edge on the outside of the room in the Y direction. Shape hinges 45a and 44c are provided between the edge of the ventilation door 45 and the screen frame 44a, centered on vertical axes, allowing the ventilation door 45 to rotate around the vertical axis relative to the screen frame 44a.

[0025] When the ventilation door 45 is rotated to the left in the X direction, as shown by the solid lines in Figure 9, it can close the opening in the screen frame 44a (closed position of the ventilation door 45), and the inner and outer sealing members 44d and 44e on the screen frame 44a each come into close contact with the ventilation door 45, thereby preventing ventilation between the inside and outside of the room through the outer notch 41. In this state, the locking device 46 provided between the inside edge of the ventilation door 45 in the Y direction and the screen frame 44a can be locked, allowing the ventilation door 45 to be maintained in the closed position. If the locking device 46 is unlocked from the above state, the ventilation door 45 can be opened to the right in the X direction, as shown by the two-dot chain line in Figure 9, allowing ventilation between the inside and outside of the room through the outer notch 41, the screen frame 44a, the inner notch 42, and the cover notch 43 in the bay window section 30.

[0026] The ventilation control device 50 is supported on the abutment portions 25e, 31m provided on the outward protrusion 25b of the vertical backbone 25 and the outward extension portion 31k of the backbone attachment 31 to the left of the outer wall portion 31e of the backbone attachment 31 in the X direction, and is constructed by arranging multiple vertical louver materials 51 in parallel in the Y direction.

[0027] The abutment portion 25e of the vertical backbone 25 is flat and extends from the edge located on the right side of the outward protrusion 25b in the X direction toward the outside of the room in the Y direction. The edge located on the right side of the outward protrusion 25b in the X direction has a positioning protrusion 25f protruding toward the right in the X direction abutting against the outer wall 31e of the backbone attachment 31, thereby ensuring a gap between the abutment portion 25e of the vertical backbone 25 and the outer wall 31e. The outward extension portion 31k of the backbone attachment 31 is flat and protrudes to the left in the X direction from a portion of the outer wall 31e located on the outside of the room in the Y direction. The abutment portion 31m of the backbone attachment 31 is flat and extends from the portion of the outward extension portion 31k corresponding to the abutment portion 25e of the vertical backbone 25 in a direction approaching each other. A gap larger than the width dimension of the outer notch 41 is secured between these abutment portions 25e, 31m. Engagement protrusions 25g, 31n are provided on the outward protrusion 25b and the outward extension 31k to the left of the abutment portions 25e, 31m in the X direction. The engagement protrusions 25g, 31n are provided in positions facing each other. The engagement protrusion 31n provided on the outward extension 31k has a greater protruding height than the engagement protrusion 25g provided on the outward protrusion 25b.

[0028] As shown in FIG. 21 , the vertical louver material 51 is an extruded member formed from a metal such as an aluminum alloy. The vertical louver material 51 of this embodiment has a louver main body 51a whose central portion curves toward the interior of the room in the Y direction and protrudes, and side wall blades 51b that extend from both side edges of the louver main body 51a toward the exterior of the room in the Y direction. As shown in FIG. 3 , each vertical louver material 51 is provided continuously from above the lower frame attachment 33 to the upper end cover 37. As shown in FIG. 21 , each vertical louver material 51 has a protruding baffle plate 51c provided on a portion of the louver main body 51a that faces the interior of the room in the Y direction. The baffle plate 51c extends so that the gap between the louver main body 51a and the baffle plate gradually widens toward the left in the X direction, and the extending edge curves toward the louver main body 51a. These vertical louver materials 51 are arranged in parallel at equal intervals between support members 52 and 53 arranged on both sides, and are integrated by connecting the side wall blade portions 51b located on the right side in the X direction to louver connecting members 54. The mutual interval between adjacent vertical louver materials 51 is set so that the louver main bodies 51a and the baffle plates 51c overlap in the X direction but do not come into contact with each other.

[0029] The support members 52 and 53 each include a partition wall portion 52a, 53a, an attachment wall portion 52b, 53b, and a connecting wall portion 52c, 53c. The partition wall portions 52a, 53a are flat and extend in the X direction. The dimension of the partition wall portions 52a, 53a along the X direction is approximately equal to the distance from the abutment surfaces 25h, 31p located on the left side of the abutment portions 25e, 31m in the X direction to the outer wall portion 31e. The partition wall portions 52a, 53a are configured so that the extended edges of the partition wall portions 52a, 53a abut against the outer wall portion 31e when the attachment wall portions 52b, 53b (described later) are abutted against the abutment surfaces 25h, 31p. The spacing between the partition wall portions 52a, 53a is set to be smaller than the spacing between the abutment portions 25e, 31m and larger than the width of the outer notch 41. The mounting walls 52b, 53b extend away from each other in the Y direction from the left edge of the partition walls 52a, 53a in the X direction, then bend and extend to the left in the X direction. The maximum width from one mounting wall 52b to the other mounting wall 53b is set to be greater than the distance between the contact portions 25e, 31m and smaller than the distance between the engagement protrusions 25g, 31n. The dimension of the mounting walls 52b, 53b along the X direction is approximately equal to the distance between the contact portions 25e, 31m and the engagement protrusions 25g, 31n. The connecting walls 52c, 53c extend toward each other from the left edge of the partition walls 52a, 53a in the X direction. The louver connecting member 54 is connected to the support members 52, 53 via the partition walls 52a, 53a and the connecting walls 52c, 53c. In addition, a vertical louver portion 53d having the same cross-sectional shape as the vertical louver material 51 is integrally formed on the support member 53 on the exterior side in the Y direction from the edge of the connecting wall portion 53c.

[0030] The ventilation control device 50 equipped with the ventilation control section as described above is attached to the vertical rib 25 and the rib attachment 31 by abutting the mounting walls 52b, 53b against the abutment surfaces 25h, 31p of the abutment portions 25e, 31m and then threading the screw members 57 into the abutment portions 25e, 31m via the mounting walls 52b, 53b. As described above, the outward protrusion 25b of the vertical rib 25 and the outward extension 31k of the rib attachment 31 are provided with the engagement protrusions 25g, 31n. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 22(a), the ventilation control device 50 is tilted, and the mounting wall 53b of the support member 53 located on the room exterior in the Y direction is first inserted between the abutment portion 31m and the engagement protrusion 31n. 22(b), the mounting wall 52b of the support member 52 located on the interior side of the room in the Y direction is inserted between the abutment portion 25e and the engagement protrusion 25g. Then, as shown in FIG. 22(c), the ventilation control device 50 is moved toward the interior of the room in the Y direction until the mounting wall 52b abuts against the outward protrusion 25b, thereby temporarily fastening the ventilation control device 50 to the vertical rib 25 and the rib attachment 31. In this state, the mounting walls 52b and 53b abut against the engagement protrusions 25g and 31n, so that the screw member 57 can be threaded into the abutment portions 25e and 31m via the mounting walls 52b and 53b without supporting the ventilation control device 50, thereby facilitating the installation of the ventilation control device 50. Conversely, even if the screw member 57 becomes loose, there is no risk of the ventilation control device 50 falling off the vertical rib 25 and the rib attachment 31.

[0031] The vertical rib 25 and rib attachment 31 to which the ventilation control device 50 is attached define an outer space 38 surrounded by the outer wall 31e, two partition walls 52a, 53a, and multiple vertical louver members 51, and drainage spaces 39 are defined on both sides of the outer space 38 in the Y direction. The outer space 38 is a void extending above the uppermost outer notch 41. The drainage space 39 on the indoor side in the Y direction is surrounded by the outer wall 31e, positioning projection 25f, mounting wall 52b, and partition wall 52a. The drainage space 39 on the outdoor side in the Y direction is surrounded by the outer wall 31e, outward extension 31k, mounting wall 53b, and partition wall 53a. Reference numeral 58 in the figure denotes a door located on the outdoor side in the Y direction relative to the ventilation control device 50, which can be opened to the left in the X direction.

[0032] The water guide member 60 is made of an elastic material such as EPDM, and is a block-shaped member that is rectangular in plan view. The dimension of the water guide member 60 along the Y direction is set to be greater than the distance between the partition wall portions 52a, 53a provided in the ventilation control device 50. The upper surface of the water guide member 60 is provided with a water guide surface (water guide channel) 60a that slopes gradually downward from the center toward both sides in the Y direction. The lower surface of the water guide member 60 is flat, and has insertion recesses (recesses) 60b at both ends in the Y direction. The insertion recesses 60b are sized to allow the partition wall portions 52a, 53a to be inserted, and the spacing between them is set so that the two partition wall portions 52a, 53a can be inserted simultaneously.

[0033] The water guide member 60 is supported on the ventilation control device 50 via a mounting bracket (mounting member) 61. In the illustrated example, the water guide members 60 are disposed slightly above the upper edge of the uppermost outer notch 41 and above the ceiling panel C. The mounting bracket 61 has a flat mounting plate portion 61a extending vertically along the Y direction and a flat fitting plate portion 61b extending from the mounting plate portion 61a to the right in the X direction. The mounting bracket 61 supports the water guide member 60 via the fitting plate portion 61b and is attached to the multiple vertical louver members 51 and support members 52, 53 via the mounting plate portion 61a. As shown in FIG. 20 , when a water guide member is provided between air vents, a mounting bracket 61 having a short dimension along the top and bottom of the mounting plate portion 61a is used. The water guide member 60 attached to the ventilation control device 50 has both X-direction surfaces pressed against the mounting plate 61a and the outer wall 31e. Both ends of the water guide member 60 protrude into the two drainage spaces 39 through cutouts 62 provided in the partition walls 52a and 53a. The water guide surface 60a extends beyond the partition walls 52a and 53a and reaches the drainage space 39, with the partition walls 52a and 53a inserted into the insertion recesses 60b on the underside.

[0034] In the bay window section 30 of the ventilation curtain wall 1 configured as described above, the ventilation control device 50, in which multiple vertical louver members 51 are arranged side by side, is positioned so as to overlap the outer notch 41 of the air vent 40 in the X direction. As described above, the vertical louver members 51 are provided with baffle plates 51c so as to overlap adjacent ones in the X direction. Therefore, while the ventilation control device 50 allows ventilation between the outside and inside sides of the room in the X direction, the outer notch 41 is not directly visible when viewed from the outside side of the room in the X direction. Furthermore, even if water infiltrates the room through the louver body 51a, the baffle plates 51c prevent further infiltration of the water into the room. As a result, by opening the ventilation door 45 on the indoor side of the X direction, it is possible to ventilate the room while preventing outside water, such as rainwater, from infiltrating the room in the X direction.

[0035] In the portion above the uppermost outer notch 41, water that passes through the vertical louver member 51 of the ventilation control device 50 and reaches the outer wall portion 31e gradually drips downward in the outer space 38. Therefore, if water in the outer space 38 reaches the portion corresponding to the outer notch 41, there is a risk that this water will enter the room through the air vent 40. However, in the ventilation curtain wall 1 described above, the water guide members 60 are provided in appropriate locations in the outer space 38 to separate the outer space 38 from the top and bottom. Therefore, water that passes through the ventilation control device 50 is received by the water guide members 60 as it drips down the outer space 38, and is then guided to the drainage spaces 39 according to the inclination of the water guide surface 60a, and is guided downward in each drainage space 39. The drainage spaces 39 are separated from the outer space 38 except for the notches 62 provided in the portions corresponding to the water guide members 60. This prevents the water guided through the drain space 39 from returning to the vent hole 40 and allows it to be discharged directly to the outside of the room, which is advantageous in terms of waterproofing.

[0036] While the above-described embodiment illustrates an air vent control device 50 that controls the ventilation of the air vent 40 in the bay window section 30 in the ventilation curtain wall 1, the present invention is not limited to this. It may also be applied to air vents 40 in walls other than curtain walls, such as fittings. In this case, the air vent 40 is not limited to those that ventilate along the X direction, but may also ventilate along the Y direction. Furthermore, the air vent 40 does not need to have multiple outer notches 41, but may have a single outer notch 41. Furthermore, while the water guide members 60 are provided at multiple locations in the outer space 38, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, it is sufficient to provide one above the upper edge of the uppermost outer notch 41. Furthermore, the water guide channel does not need to have an inclined water guide surface 60a, nor does it need to be inclined from the center to both sides. Furthermore, the number of drainage spaces 39 does not need to be two; one is sufficient. Furthermore, although the backbone attachment 31 is configured separately from the vertical backbone 25, the vertical backbone 25 and the backbone attachment 31 may be configured as one unit.

[0037] As described above, the ventilation control device of the present invention is an ventilation control device that controls ventilation through air vents that are opened on the side of a wall to connect the inside and outside of the room, and is characterized in that a partition wall is provided on both sides of the air vent outside the outdoor surface of the wall, and at a position on the outdoor side of the wall that overlaps the opening of the air vent, multiple vertical louver materials extending up and down are arranged in parallel on the left and right at a position spaced from the outdoor surface, and a water-conducting member that blocks communication from above to below is provided in the outer space surrounded by the vertical louver materials, the partition wall and the wall, and the water-conducting member has a water-conducting channel that leads from the outer space to a position beyond the partition wall. According to this invention, even if outside water such as rainwater passes through the vertical louvers and enters the room, the water guide member will drain it to a position beyond the partition wall, eliminating the risk of it passing through the air vent. The area beyond the partition wall does not necessarily have to be an open space, and may be in a position that is open to the outside.

[0038] Furthermore, in the above-described ventilation control device of the present invention, the water guide members are provided at a plurality of positions along the top and bottom of the outer space. According to this invention, it is possible to further improve the water stopping property.

[0039] Furthermore, in the above-mentioned ventilation control device, the present invention is characterized in that the water conduit is configured by sloping the upper surface of the water conduit member so that it gradually becomes lower toward the partition wall portion, and the lower end of the water conduit extends to a position beyond the partition wall portion through a notch provided in the partition wall portion. According to this invention, the water guide channel can be easily configured by simply inclining the upper surface of the water guide member.

[0040] Furthermore, in the above-described ventilation control device of the present invention, the water channel is inclined so as to become gradually lower toward the left and right, and extends to a position beyond the left and right partition wall portions. According to this invention, water that has passed through the vertical louver material is guided to the left and right, thereby improving drainage performance.

[0041] Furthermore, in the above-described ventilation control device of the present invention, the water guide member is supported by the vertical louver member via a mounting member. According to this invention, the water guide member can be handled integrally with the vertical louver material, which is advantageous in terms of workability when installing it.

[0042] The present invention is also characterized in that, in the above-mentioned ventilation control device, the water-guiding member is molded from an elastic member and is arranged in the outer space while being pressed against the outdoor surface and the mounting member, respectively, and the water-guiding member is provided with a recess that accommodates the lower edge of the cutout provided in the partition wall portion. According to this invention, the water received on the upper surface of the water guide member can be discharged more reliably.

[0043] Furthermore, the present invention is characterized in that, in the above-mentioned ventilation control device, the vertical louver material extends upward beyond the upper edge of the opening of the ventilation hole, and the water-guiding member is arranged at least in a portion that is above the opening edge portion that is located at the uppermost position of the ventilation hole. According to this invention, it is possible to ensure watertightness even when vertical louver materials are provided with an emphasis on appearance quality. [Explanation of symbols]
