Elevator group management controller

Abstract

To provide an elevator group management controller that controls the assignment of cars to each landing call, enabling efficient elevator operations while maintaining user convenience in a system managing elevators in groups and capable of executing operations for both up / down direction calls and landing destination calls specifying a destination floor at the same floor.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a group management controller comprises a landing call registration unit, a car assignment determination unit, and a mode switching unit. The landing call registration unit registers information regarding up / down direction calls and information regarding landing destination calls specifying a destination floor, which have occurred in any floor. The car assignment determination unit assigns a car in response to the registered landing calls. The mode switching unit switches the car assignment determination unit between an operation mode that permits assigning the same car to both the up / down direction call and the landing destination call, and an operation mode that assigns different cars to the up / down direction call and the landing destination call, on the basis of the number of users during a predetermined period for the elevator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
