Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a supply system with a return function or return device for a line, in particular an electric line or cable, in particular a cable for charging an electric vehicle, which supply system comprises at least one cable store comprising a number of pulleys arranged in at least two pulley blocks so that the cable can be wound and fixed in the pulley blocks with a number of turns, the first pulley block and the second pulley block being adjustable or displaceable relative to each other, at least one of the first and second pulley blocks being arranged in a linearly guided displaceable pulley block carrier, the first and second pulley blocks being movable towards each other against a restoring force. [Background technology]
[0002] A supply system of the above mentioned type is known, for example, from DE 10 200 03 133 A1. This publication describes an electrical connection system with a storage device for an electric cable for charging a battery of a motor vehicle, comprising at least three pulleys distributed in two rows and a chain of spring elements connected in the lower row and applying a holding force which increases with the length of the cable and a restoring force which decreases with the retraction of the cable, coil springs of different hardness arranged in a row being provided as spring elements. This arrangement ensures that as the cable is gradually unwound, an increasing holding force is generated and as the cable is unwound, a decreasing restoring force is applied.
[0003] Further current technology is known, for example, from US Pat. No. 5,399,313, which comprises a cable supply system with a cable store, in which a pulley is arranged in two pulley blocks from which the cable can be unwound under tension, both pulley blocks being elastically mounted and both displaceable relative to each other against the force of a tension spring. Another cable supply system is known from US Pat. No. 5,399,313, which is mainly designed for network cables with small cross-sections. It allows simple installation or replacement of the cable, but is less suitable for cables for charging electric vehicles.
[0004] Known supply systems are constructed on the assumption that they must be provided to the user completely ready for use with the corresponding cables. Any necessary replacement or repair of electric lines or cables is not taken into account in the design of known systems. Depending on the charging technology and the provision of mains connections or mains connection points, it will become necessary to provide the supply system with electric lines designed for different voltages and / or different currents. This will require cables with different line cross-sections to be laid. Furthermore, depending on the installation site there are different electrical safety requirements or different connectors have to be provided. It is therefore desirable in principle for the user to be able to easily lay the electric lines or cables himself. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0005] [Patent Document 1] European Patent No. 3271983 [Patent Document 2] JP 2014-230298 A [Patent Document 3] European Patent Application Publication No. 2813455 Summary of the Invention
[0006] A first partial object of the invention concerns the provision of a supply system for electric lines which is constructed in a particularly simple and user-friendly manner with regard to maintenance and repair, as well as with regard to being brought into a ready-for-use state.
[0007] Charging the battery of a motor vehicle is generally performed by connecting a battery charging device provided in the vehicle to a voltage source, for example in a charging column connected to the mains supply. When the vehicle is not being charged, it is generally desirable to store the charging cable. The above-mentioned cable store offers the possibility of storing several meters of charging cable wound on pulleys arranged to form a pulley block, the cable being arranged in multiple turns, which are wound and fixed in the pulley block in the manner of a block and tackle. Generally, supplying the free end of the cable, provided with a corresponding charging plug, to a charging port or socket of the motor vehicle is performed by tensioning the free end of the cable while partially withdrawing it from the cable store. The amount of cable withdrawn corresponds to a multiple of the length of the individual threads or individual parts of the cable between the pulleys of the pulley block. In this way, it is possible to provide a compact cable store from which the cable can be withdrawn with a relatively low force. It is guaranteed that the user can withdraw the cable from the cable store with as little force as possible, since the required pulling force is inversely proportional to the number of threads.
[0008] On the other hand, while the cable is being unwound, a certain restoring force is to be generated so that the cable can be automatically retracted during retraction. To ensure this, in the current state of the art it is known to apply the restoring force by means of weights and / or spring elements. In particular, the solution according to DE 10 20 05 23 59 A1 is based on applying a retention force that increases with the length of the cable and a restoring force that decreases with the return of the cable, which is realised by springs of different hardness connected in series or arranged in several rows. However, such an arrangement has the disadvantage that it requires a relatively large installation space inside the housing, in particular a large installation height.
[0009] US 2017 / 0203662 describes a further storage system in a charging station for cables for charging electric vehicles, but does not allow for simplified replacement of the charging cable.
[0010] The invention is therefore further based on the partial object of providing a supply system of the initially mentioned type which, on the one hand, is constructed in a relatively compact manner and, on the other hand, offers the user maximum ease of use.
[0011] The first partial object is achieved by a first aspect of the invention having the features of claim 1.
[0012] The second partial object is achieved by a second independent aspect having the features of claim 7.
[0013] A further object of the present invention relates to an improvement of a supply system with a return function or return device for a line according to the preamble of claim 13.
[0014] Such systems with arc-distributed pulleys have already been proposed in general in GB 2574735 A1 and DE 102019104131 A1. However, these systems have not yet been established for, and are in part not suitable for, charging cables of electric vehicles. In comparison, the vulnerability to faults is reduced and the reliability of the supply system is increased. This third partial object is achieved by a third independent aspect with the features according to claim 13.
[0015] All advantageous designs of the invention are derived from the dependent claims, which in principle can be combined with one another in all aspects and are to be understood as being disclosed within the framework of the invention in combination as well.
[0016] First mode (one-sided installation) A first aspect of the invention relates to a supply system with storage or storage for a line, in particular for a cable for charging an electric vehicle, the supply system comprising at least one cable store, the cable store comprising a number of pulleys arranged on at least two pulley blocks such that the cable can be wound and fixed in the pulley blocks with a number of turns, the first and second pulley blocks being movable or displaceable relative to each other, at least one of the first and second pulley blocks being arranged on a linearly guided displaceable pulley block carrier, the first and second pulley blocks being movable towards each other against a restoring force. The supply system according to the first aspect of the invention is characterized in particular in that each of the pulley blocks has an axle mounted or supported in a cantilevered manner on one side.
[0017] The first pulley block is preferably arranged in a fixed position, preferably inside the housing. In this case, it is advantageous if the second pulley block is displaceable with respect to the first pulley block on the pulley block carrier, for example it is advantageously mounted relatively movable. The pulley block carrier can be configured, for example, as a carriage guided by rollers or sliding bearings. In principle, it is sufficient for only the second pulley block to be relatively movable, which simplifies the design.
[0018] It is particularly advantageous for each of the pulley blocks to have an axle mounted in a cantilevered manner on one side. This is especially because the pulley blocks are consequently accessible on one side in such a way that they can be laid from one side without having to pass the cable awkwardly, as would be the case between otherwise closed pulley blocks. Due to this design, the first pulley block can for example be fastened to a wall on one side, whereas the second pulley block can be mounted on an axle fastened in a cantilevered manner on one side on a pulley block carrier, preferably configured as a carriage. In this way, it is possible both to lay the cable on one side and to press the individual pulley sheaves or pulleys against the axle. The pulleys or pulley sheaves can likewise be mounted using ball bearings or sliding bearings, and polymer bearings may be provided for this purpose.
[0019] "Cantilever mounted" in the present case means in particular that it is mounted or held only on one side by a self-supporting counter area, for example in the sense of a cantilever beam, so that the pulley block is easily accessible from the free side, since here no release of the fastening or the like is required.
[0020] The terms "pass through", "wrap around" or "can be wrapped around" refer to a pulley block in which the cable is or can be routed or passed through the pulley block in multiple wraps, as in the case of a block and tackle or a tackle only.
[0021] According to an embodiment of the invention, the pulley block can be arranged, for example, in a housing. In this configuration, the pulley block carrier can be displaceably guided inside the housing. It is advantageous if the housing has at least one guide profile, preferably a plurality of guide profiles, for guiding the pulley block carrier. Particularly preferably, it is provided that the housing comprises two surface profiles, which are preferably configured as feet, each of which constitutes a guide profile for the pulley block carrier.
[0022] In an embodiment, the housing may accommodate electro-technical equipment and / or component parts for charging an electric vehicle and for this purpose may have, for example, a separate and / or sealed accommodation area, preferably of a suitable IP class, or a separate and / or sealed compartment.
[0023] In a variant, the pulley block carrier may have a C-shaped or U-shaped cross-sectional profile opening in the direction of the axle span, so that the pulley block or the pulley sheave is in each case easily accessible from one side. The pulley block carrier may be configured as a plastic profile having two faces, each constituting a lateral side piece of the pulley block carrier, on which faces, for example, guide rollers may be arranged.
[0024] Each of the axles houses a plurality of individual pulleys mounted for rotation independently of one another, and the pulleys may consist of identically constructed pulley sheaves, for example, each constructed as an injection molded plastic part.
[0025] It is particularly convenient and advantageous if the housing comprises housing parts removable by the user, which are configured such that when the housing is opened, the user can lay the connected charging cable provided with the connected charging plug over the pulley. This ensures, for example, that the supply system according to the invention can be retrofitted to an interior installation without the user having to interfere with current-carrying parts of the charging station.
[0026] The housing can have at least one cable inlet and at least one cable outlet configured to allow a user to lay a cable, with a charging plug connected to at least one side, over a pulley without removing the charging plug or plugs from the cable.
[0027] In this connection, it is advantageous and convenient if the housing can be opened by the user by means of a simple handle. With such a housing configuration, it makes sense for the cable to have an anti-theft and / or anti-withdrawal device.
[0028] Therefore, in an advantageous variant of the supply system according to the invention, at least one anti-withdrawal and anti-detachment device is provided for at least one cable, which comprises, for example, a cable guide with at least one electrically actuatable locking mechanism.
[0029] The cable guide may for example comprise a cable duct in which the cable can be fixed by a clamping shoe which may for example be actuatable by a servo motor via a spindle drive arranged on the output shaft of the servo motor.
[0030] According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the pulley block carrier is guided in at least one guide profile, which in the installation position is preferably arranged centrally, more preferably vertically, and is configured as a guide frame or guide rail. This embodiment of the feeding system according to the invention has the advantageous effect that a housing is not necessary for the functioning of the system.
[0031] The feeding system according to this embodiment may comprise a guide rail for wall mounting, with some pulley blocks fastenable to the guide rail fixed in place, while other pulley blocks are displaceable on the pulley block carrier therewith in the guide rail.
[0032] The guide rails may alternatively be formed in the shape of a guide frame with feet, so that the feeding system is freestanding.
[0033] Finally, the guide rails may additionally be arranged inside a housing, in which case the housing is not necessary for the function of the supply system, but only provides a protective function and possibly anti-theft protection.
[0034] The guide rails may be formed, for example, as a C-profile or U-profile. Alternatively, the guide rails may comprise one or more guide bars formed in a T- or I-shape, with a suitably shaped pulley block carrier profile gripping the periphery of the guide bars.
[0035] Second embodiment (retractable spring system) The subject matter of the invention, which is further claimed individually as protectable, relates to a supply system with a storage or return function for a line, in particular for a cable for charging an electric vehicle, the supply system comprising at least one cable store, the cable store comprising a number of pulleys arranged on at least two pulley blocks such that the cable can be wound and fixed in the pulley blocks in a number of turns, the first pulley block and the second pulley block being displaceable relative to each other, at least one of the first and second pulley blocks being arranged on a linearly guided displaceable pulley block carrier, the first and second pulley blocks being movable towards each other against a restoring force. The supply system is characterized in that the restoring force is generated by at least one elongated spring element, which acts on the second pulley block and extends in at least two parts through at least one deflection point fixed in place. This supply system according to the second aspect may further have one or more of the features described in connection with the first or further aspects of the invention.
[0036] In particular, the feature according to the invention that the elongated spring element is guided via at least one deflection point allows the use of relatively thin, long and particularly flexible spring elements with a small spring constant. The restoring force therefore increases gradually as the cable withdrawal length increases. If the spring element has an approximately linear spring characteristic, a flat spring characteristic can be achieved over the entire withdrawal length, so that when withdrawing the cable, the user feels that he is exerting an approximately constant pulling force. In fact, the pulling force when the cable is withdrawn increases with the withdrawal length. However, if there is only a relatively small increase in the spring characteristic, the user subjectively feels that the exerted pulling force is constant over the entire withdrawal distance. In this way, a high level of ease of use is provided to the user.
[0037] Multiple deflections via at least two deflection points are particularly preferred, as a result of which particularly long dimensioned spring elements having multiple portions along the guide direction or along the movement direction of the moving pulley block can be accommodated without increasing the size of the installation space.
[0038] In particular, elastically expandable and contractible flexible cord-like spring elements usually come into consideration as spring elements, preferably in the form of rubber cords, rubber bands, expander cords, etc. Suitable coil springs also come within the framework of the invention, although less preferred.
[0039] It is advantageously provided that the elongated spring element preferably extends inside the housing in at least two substantially parallel portions, so that a relatively long spring element can be accommodated inside the housing without a significant increase in the installation space.
[0040] A preferred and advantageous variant of the feeding system according to the invention provides that the spring force is generated by at least one spring elastic cord arranged in at least one loop through at least one deflection roller and provided as a spring element. Such a flexible cord or expander cord can be particularly advantageously fastened, for example, to a side part of the housing or fastened in the guide rail between the profile bars of the guide rail.
[0041] Alternatively, the expander cord may be guided via one or more deflection rollers fastened to a central guide rail. The housing, also in this variant of the supply system, is not strictly necessary for the functioning of the supply system.
[0042] Through one or more deflection rollers it becomes possible to arrange the spring element or expander cord in several sections which may preferably run parallel to one another.Within the framework of the invention, in principle, a single elongated spring element guided through several deflection rollers can be provided, for example in the shape of a parallelogram.
[0043] On the one hand, the spring force is preferably generated by two elongated spring elements acting on two faces of the second pulley block in order to introduce the force symmetrically.
[0044] A rubber-elastic cord, in particular an expander cord, or a helical tension spring of relatively thin wire may be provided as spring element. Preferably, a non-metallic spring element in the form of a rubber-elastic flexible cord is provided as spring element. This may have, for example, a core or central part made of a thermoplastic elastomer.
[0045] An advantageous variant of the supply system according to the invention provides that the spring force is generated by two spring elements and that each spring element is attached to one of the two faces of the pulley block carrier, so that the introduction of force through the spring elements to the pulley block carrier is symmetrical.
[0046] The free ends of each spring element are preferably fastened to a guide profile, a guide rail or a housing part, whereas the other ends of each spring element are fastened to a surface of the pulley block carrier, for example by means of a fastening clamp.
[0047] Each of the spring elements is preferably guided via at least one upper deflection roller and one lower deflection roller.
[0048] At least one or both deflecting rollers may, for example, be mounted inside the housing and / or may be arranged fixedly in place in the housing, in the guide profile or in the guide frame.
[0049] Third embodiment (guided arc-shaped block) The subject matter of the invention, which is further claimed as being protectable individually, relates to a supply system for an electric line, e.g. a cable for charging an electric vehicle, which comprises at least one cable store with a number of pulleys arranged on at least two pulley blocks such that the cable can be laid in the pulley blocks in a number of turns or can be introduced or wound and fixed in the pulley blocks, the first pulley block and the second pulley block being displaceable relative to each other, e.g. movably mounted and movable towards each other against a restoring force, similar to that described above.
[0050] However, here, at least one of the two pulley blocks, and in particular each of the two pulley blocks, has a plurality of pulleys or cable guide rollers arranged in an arc-like distributed manner on a circular arc around the deflection axis.
[0051] Here, each pulley block is also preferably implemented in such a way that the cable can be wound and fixed in the pulley block with multiple turns or laid therein with multiple offset turns, each pulley block preferably having pulleys arranged and / or dimensioned to ensure a minimum deflection radius in the curved area of the turns, preferably greater than or equal to 800 mm, in particular greater than or equal to 100 mm, so that unwanted kink loads on the core or conductor are minimized.
[0052] According to a third aspect of the invention, it is proposed that at least one of the first and second pulley blocks is arranged and held in a linearly guided displaceable pulley block carrier. Compared to known solutions, a stable guidance when the cable is pulled out and retracted and also an easier installation are achieved as a result. Here, according to the third aspect of the invention, at least one of the two pulley blocks, having a plurality of pulleys arranged in an arc-like distributed manner on an arc around a deflection axis, is held in or carried by a linearly guided pulley block carrier according to the invention.
[0053] A particular advantageous effect of the arc-distributed pulley is that in the fully extended state, the two pulley blocks can consequently move closer or very close to each other, such as in a generally semicircular or half-moon shape, which reduces the unused or "dead" length of line remaining in the cable store compared to a full pulley in sheave form, resulting in a shorter charging cable being usable for the same payout length, or a longer payout length being realised.
[0054] Within the framework of the present invention, a general single-axle pulley configuration with a pulley distributed in an arc only on a first pulley block and a second pulley block is also conceivable, the first pulley block having at least a part of the pulley circumference of the coaxial pulley and then being able to engage with the second pulley block.
[0055] However, pulleys distributed in an arc on both pulley blocks are particularly preferred, as a result of which essentially identical pulley blocks can be displaced towards each other in an arrangement rotated by 180 degrees and at the same time a relatively large cable guide radius is ensured.
[0056] The pulleys are therefore preferably distributed in an arc, in particular on a circular arc, on each of the two pulley blocks, the angle of which is advantageously less than or equal to 180 degrees, so that the two pulley blocks together form a substantially circular store only in the fully extended state, i.e. at a minimum distance from each other. The angle of the arc is preferably greater than or equal to 90 degrees, preferably greater than or equal to 120 degrees, depending on the diameter of the pulleys. The radius of the circular arc on which the pulley axles are distributed is preferably greater than or equal to 50 mm, preferably greater than or equal to 75 mm, in particular greater than or equal to 100 mm, for electric vehicle charging cables.
[0057] In each pulley block, depending on the diameter of the pulleys, each of the at least four distributed pulley groups is preferably provided with at least one pulley, in particular at least three pulleys, which are preferably evenly distributed around the circumference (distributed in equally spaced arcs).
[0058] Each of the two pulley blocks advantageously has, from a design point of view, a substantially semicircular frame with its axles distributed over a circular arc, and two axially opposed carrier elements on which the axles are supported.
[0059] In order to reduce or minimize the offset of the cables when transitioning from one pulley block to the other, it is advantageously provided that successive pulleys in the direction of the arc are mounted axially offset relative to one another, for example through an offset of a few millimeters on the axles of the frame or on the individual pulley mountings of each axle.
[0060] Each pulley block preferably has fixing bars arranged outboard of the distributed pulleys, which can act against radial withdrawal of the cables from each pulley block. To facilitate installation or later replacement of the cables, the fixing bars are preferably releasably attached to the frame, in particular so as to be foldable.
[0061] The fixing bar may thus constitute a kind of pulley cage having a frame for fixing and holding the cables to the respective pulley blocks.
[0062] In a third embodiment, the first pulley block is also preferably arranged fixedly in place and the second pulley block is linearly guided or displaceable relative to the first pulley block on a movable pulley block carrier, where the pulley block carrier is particularly preferably guided on or in at least one guide profile, which is preferably centrally arranged and configured as a guide frame or guide rail.
[0063] In a preferred combination with the first aspect, the second pulley block is mounted in a cantilevered manner on one side, in particular on the pulley block carrier, and the first pulley block is correspondingly advantageously fixed in a cantilevered manner on one side, in particular on the housing or on a guide rail of the pulley block carrier.
[0064] The delivery system according to the third aspect may further comprise one or more of the features described in connection with the further aspects of the invention disclosed herein.
[0065] Further aspects (gas springs) A further aspect of the invention, also considered as individually protectable but merely optional, relates to a supply system for a line, in particular for a cable for charging an electric vehicle, comprising at least one cable store, which comprises a number of pulleys arranged on at least two pulley blocks such that the cable can be wound and fixed in the pulley blocks with a number of turns, the first pulley block and the second pulley block being displaceable relative to each other, at least one of the first and second pulley blocks being arranged on a linearly guided displaceable pulley block carrier, the first and second pulley blocks being movable towards each other against a restoring force. This independent aspect of the invention or supply system is characterized in that the restoring force is at least partly generated by at least one gas spring acting on the second pulley block.
[0066] The supply system according to this further aspect of the invention may further comprise one or more of the above or below mentioned features as being particularly advantageous: As an alternative or in addition to the above solution by a biased spring element, a gas spring may be provided.
[0067] A gas spring within the meaning of the present invention means a spring element comprising a cylinder with pressurized gas and a piston rod, the guide end of which may have a piston or is configured as a piston, which penetrates into the cylinder and is slidingly supported against the cylinder wall via at least one seal, in the process compressing and / or squeezing the gas contained in the cylinder.
[0068] In contrast to conventional mechanical springs, even in the case of very long strokes, gas springs have a flat spring characteristic which is particularly easily settable from a design point of view, for example by corresponding openings and / or valves inside the piston or piston rod. Furthermore, gas springs also enable a damping effect to be realised which is easily settable from a design point of view and which produces a damped and / or delayed retraction movement when the cable tension weakens, thus ensuring that the cable end does not accelerate when being returned to the cable store.
[0069] The provision of the supply system according to the invention results in a gradually increasing restoring force as the withdrawn length of the cable increases, resulting in a damped retraction action. The use of gas springs as spring elements according to the invention allows a flat spring characteristic to be achieved over the entire withdrawn length, so that when withdrawing the cable, the user feels as if he is exerting a substantially constant pulling force. In fact, the pulling force as the cable is withdrawn increases with the withdrawn length. However, if there is only a relatively small increase in the spring characteristic, the user will subjectively feel that the exerted pulling force is constant over the entire withdrawn distance. In this way, a high level of ease of use is provided to the user.
[0070] In an advantageous variant of the supply system according to the invention, it can be provided that at least one gas spring is fastened to the pulley block carrier on the one hand and operatively connected to a counter bearing on the other hand. The housing of the supply system can act, for example, as a counter bearing. In principle, however, also other fastening possibilities or mounting points fixed in place are suitable as counter bearings.
[0071] Alternatively, it can be provided that the gas spring is clamped in such a way that the pulley block carrier acts directly axially on the piston rod by means of a limit stop when the piston rod is displaced.
[0072] The supply system according to the invention preferably comprises at least one cord, which acts on the piston rod of the gas spring and is connected to the housing and acts on the piston rod of the gas spring through the displacement of the pulley block carrier, which is advantageously configured as a high-tensile cord without spring elastic properties. This variant of the supply system has the advantageous effect that the gas spring can be fastened to the pulley block carrier, thereby forming a compact structural unit.
[0073] In order to ensure easy and tilt-free guidance of the pulley block carrier configured as a carriage, it is advantageous if at least two gas springs are fastened to the pulley block carrier in such a way that a symmetrical spring load and / or damping of the pulley block carrier is ensured. Each of the gas springs can be fastened, for example, to a lateral side piece of the pulley block carrier.
[0074] A particularly beneficial low-friction and twist- and tilt-proof guidance of the pulley block carrier inside the housing is provided if the pulley block carrier is supported against a guide profile or against the inside of the housing via a number of guide rollers. The carriage or pulley block carrier is therefore preferably not mounted to slide, but to roll.
[0075] A particularly smooth guidance is achieved if the guide rollers are mounted ball bearings. The ball bearings can be configured, for example, as groove ball bearings with a cage made of thermoplastic material. This polymer bearing is corrosion-free and resistant to media and heat, allowing maintenance-free, low-friction and hygienic dry operation. Alternatively, the guide rollers can be mounted in self-lubricating sliding bearings made of thermoplastic material.
[0076] The cylinder is further preferably fastened to at least one gas spring on the pulley block carrier, the piston rod of the at least one gas spring engaging with the first deflection roller in a looped cord in such a manner that when the pulley block carrier is displaced against the effective direction of the load force, the piston of the at least one gas spring is slid inside the cylinder to compress and / or displace the gas volume.
[0077] It is particularly advantageous if the cord is fastened at its end to the pulley block carrier and / or the gas spring and guided through a second deflection roller fixed in place, preferably in the housing. This arrangement ensures that the distance between the two deflection points or deflection rollers does not change when the gas spring is compressed and in the process the cord becomes stretched.
[0078] General matters The supply system has as its function the automatic return or retraction of the guided line and in this respect may also be called a return system. It preferably provides for a withdrawable cable length of at least 2 metres, but preferably at least 3 metres.
[0079] In principle, the supply system is claimed without a cable, but can be used particularly advantageously in combination with a cable, in particular a cable for charging electric vehicles. For example, the cables considered as cables for charging electric vehicles with a purely electric drive (battery electric vehicles) or with a partially electric drive (plug-in hybrid vehicles) are in particular cables suitable for this in accordance with the usual standards. These cables are often designed, for example in Europe, with connectors according to the standard IEC 62196 or as so-called Type 2 connectors or as so-called Combo 2 connectors or couplings, for example for DC charging with a DC voltage of 200-600 V and up to 240 kW and a DC current of up to 400 A. Furthermore, there are further standards for plug connectors and charging cables. The charging cable is designed for corresponding standard loads, in any case 10 kW and above, and preferably has a corresponding charging plug for electric vehicles at its pull-out end, in particular a charging plug according to standard IEC 62196-1 (2016) or standard IEC 62196-2 (2016) (e.g. Type 1 / Type 2 / Type 3).
[0080] Charging cables need to carry high powers, typically 11 kW or more, and usually 22 kW or more, so the corresponding core cross-sections (e.g., typically 5-6 mm 2), core insulation and a sheath with the necessary mechanical protection are required. This results in a correspondingly heavy and stiff charging cable, which usually has a total cable cross-section of 15 mm or more, and as a result is laborious to wind by hand. Now, the present invention, in all its aspects, in particular for or with this type of charging cable, greatly facilitates the handling for the user and also simplifies the charging column or charging station and reduces the costs of producing it. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0082] The invention will now be described, without limitation, with reference to and on the basis of example embodiments illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG.
[0083] 1 to 4 showing a first embodiment of the present invention. In the following embodiment, identical or functionally identical components are designated by the same reference numerals.
[0084] The supply system 1 comprises a cable store for a cable 3 as a charging cable for an electric vehicle. The cable store of the supply system 1 comprises a first upper pulley block 9 arranged fixedly in place and a second lower pulley block 10 displaceable relative to it. The first pulley block 9 is attached to a first axle 11 fastened in a cantilever manner to a guide profile 34 of a frame 35, whereas the second pulley block 10 is attached to a second axle 12 fastened in a cantilever manner to a pulley block carrier 13 which is displaceably guided on the guide profile 34. As can be seen from FIG. 4, the guide profile 34 is configured as a profile rail, which is formed with a C-shaped cross section and is supported against the ground by a foot plate 36 and fixed to the ground. The pulley block carrier 13, to which the displaceable pulley block 10 is fastened, is arranged slidingly displaceable inside the guide profile 34, as a result of which the pulley blocks 9, 10 are movable towards and away from each other.
[0085] Each of the pulley blocks 9,10 includes four pulleys 14 mounted for individual rotation independently of one another, which in turn include individual pulley sheaves 15. The pulleys 14 are all mounted in ball bearings 16 mounted on the axles 11,12.
[0086] The pulley blocks 9, 10 form a compound pulley (block and tackle) with the cable 3 laid and wound around them in multiple turns, and by pulling the free end 17 (connector not shown for simplicity) of the cable 3, the cable 3 is pulled out in such a manner that the pulley block carrier 13 rises toward the first pulley block 9, shortening the cable portion located between the pulley blocks 9, 10 and increasing the pulled length of the cable 3. The distance over which the cable 3 can be pulled out is naturally a multiple of the distance between the pulley blocks 9, 10 and the force applied in this process is a portion of the force acting on each individual portion of the cable 3.
[0087] The pulley block carrier 13 is configured as a retaining plate with a U-shaped profile in cross section, on whose side pieces 18 the guide rollers 19a, 19b are fastened, which are guided inside the guide profile 34 between the guide bars and in the back wall of the guide profile 34. In the example according to Fig. 1-4, as Fig. 4b shows, two groups each with four guide rollers 19a, 19b are provided, which are supported in two perpendicular directions against tilting inside the guide profile 34. The guide rollers 19a support the tilting of the pulley block 10 about the axis of rotation, while the guide rollers 19b support the tilting about a horizontal axis perpendicular to the axis of rotation. Instead of guidance by rollers engaging inside the guide profile 34, a reverse arrangement with guidance on the outside of the corresponding profile is also possible. However, guidance on the inside provides better guidance protection.
[0088] The pulley block carrier 13 is displaceable against the spring force of two expander cords 21a towards the upper first pulley block 9 fixed in place. The expander cords 21a are fastened on the one hand to the back of the pulley block carrier 13 and on the other hand to a guide profile 34. Two deflection rollers 20 for the expander cords 21a are arranged at the upper and lower ends of the guide profile 34, respectively. The expander cords 21a as spring elements generating a restoring force for the pulley block carrier 13 are guided at the top and bottom via the deflection rollers, respectively, in several parallel sections.
[0089] The pulley block carrier 13 is displaced towards the first upper pulley block 9 against the spring force of the expander cord 21a which generates a restoring force that increases in proportion to the withdrawn length of the cable. Due to the fact that the expander cord 21a is guided via the upper and lower deflection rollers 20, a relatively long spring element with a relatively small spring constant can be provided in a space-saving manner. The resulting spring characteristic is relatively flat, giving the user the sensation that the cable 3 can be withdrawn from the cable store with an almost constant force.
[0090] 5 to 10 show a supply system 1 according to a second and third embodiment of the present invention, which includes a rectangular parallelepiped housing 2 made up of multiple housing parts. The housing 2 contains a cable store for a charging cable and functions generally in accordance with the first embodiment.
[0091] Of course, it should be understood that the invention is such that the type of cable is not critical to the supply system 1 .
[0092] The housing 2 essentially comprises two surface profiles 4 configured as feet, two side parts 5, only one of which is shown, and an upper housing cover 6. The housing 2 further comprises a cable inlet 7 at the bottom of the surface profile 4 and a cable outlet 8 at its front side.
[0093] The cable store arranged inside the housing 2 comprises a first upper pulley block 9 arranged fixedly in place and a second lower pulley block 10 displaceable therewith. The first pulley block 9 is mounted on a first axle 11 fastened in a cantilever manner to the side part 5 of the housing 2, whereas the second pulley block 10 is mounted on a second axle 12 fastened in a cantilever manner to a pulley block carrier 13 configured as a carriage displaceably guided inside the housing 2. Each of the pulley blocks 9, 10 comprises four independently and individually rotatably mounted pulleys 14, which in turn consist of individual pulley sheaves 15. The pulleys 14 are all mounted on ball bearings 16 mounted on the axles 11, 12.
[0094] The pulley blocks 9, 10 form a compound pulley with the cable 3 laid and wound around them in multiple turns, and when the free end 17 of the cable 3 (as in this embodiment, the connector is not depicted for simplicity) is pulled, the cable 3 is pulled out in such a manner that the pulley block carrier 13 rises toward the first pulley block 9, and the portion of the cable extending between the pulley blocks 9, 10 shortens, increasing the pulled length of the cable 3. The distance over which the cable 3 can be pulled out is a multiple of the distance between the pulley blocks 9, 10, and the force applied in this process is a portion of the force acting on each individual portion of the cable 3.
[0095] As in the case of the supply system 1 of the first embodiment example, each of the first axle 11 and the second axle 12 is fastened on one side and arranged in a cantilevered manner. The second axle 12 of the second pulley block 10 is fastened to a pulley block carrier 13, which is configured as a profile with a C-shaped cross section and has lateral side pieces 18 that are guided in a twist-proof and tilt-proof manner inside the surface profile 4 of the housing 2. Six guide rollers 19a, 19b are arranged on each side piece 18 of the pulley block carrier 13, namely a pair of first guide rollers 19a and four second guide rollers 19b, which each cause the guidance of the pulley block carrier 13 inside the surface profile 4 of the housing 2 in two possible degrees of freedom perpendicular to each other. On each side of the pulley block carrier 13, two guide rollers 19a each support against the front face of the surface profile 4 and four guide rollers 19b each support against the side faces of the surface profile 4.
[0096] In the following, first, reference is made to the second embodiment according to Figs. 5-8, and similarly to the embodiment according to Figs. 1-4, a restoring force is generated on the pulley block carrier 13 by the expander cord 21a.
[0097] As shown in particular in the diagram of Fig. 7, deflection rollers 20 are arranged inside each surface profile 4 of the housing 2, on which an expander cord 21a is guided as a spring element. The expander cord 21a is fastened to the surface profile 4 of the housing 2 by a first fastening clamp (see Fig. 8) at a first fastening point 22, is deflected twice around the upper and lower deflection rollers 20 and is then fastened to the side piece 18 of the pulley block carrier 13 by a second fastening clamp at a second fastening point 23. The displacement of the pulley block carrier 13 towards the first upper pulley block 9 is exerted against the spring force of the expander cord 21a and generates a restoring force that increases in proportion to the withdrawn length of the cable.
[0098] A third embodiment of the present invention will now be described with reference to Figures 9 and 10. Like the supply system 1 according to the second embodiment of the present invention, the supply system 1 according to the third embodiment of the present invention comprises a housing 2 configured generally corresponding to the housing according to the second embodiment of the present invention. However, the restoring force on the pulley block carrier 13 according to the supply system 1 of the third embodiment is generated by a gas spring 24 as described below.
[0099] A gas spring 24 comprising a gas-filled cylinder 25 and a piston rod 26 slidable within the cylinder 25 is provided on each of the lateral side pieces 18 of the pulley block carrier 13. The gas springs 24 are mounted on the pulley block carrier 13 such that each of the piston rods 26 faces upwards in the mounted position and is compressed against the direction of movement of the second pulley block 10, generating a defined restoring force when the cable 3 is withdrawn from the supply system 1.
[0100] The piston rod 26 has a piston slidably mounted in and sealed in the cylinder 25, at the free end of which is provided with a deflection roller 27 engaging the looped high tensile and inelastic cord 21b. The cord 21b is attached to the cylinder 25 of the gas spring 24 at a first fastening point 22 and to the lateral side piece 18 of the pulley block carrier 13 at a second fastening point 23. The cord 21b is deflected twice and guided from the second fastening point 23, via the deflection roller 20 fastened to the housing 2, in a loop via the deflection roller 27 at the tip of the piston rod 26, to the second fastening point 23 of the cylinder 25 of the gas spring 24.
[0101] Pulling on the cable 3 results in a displacement of the second pulley block 10 towards the first pulley block 9 with a resulting partial unwinding of the cable 3 from the cable store. In this process, the cord 21b arranged in a loop and fixed to the housing 2 via the deflection roller 20 causes the actuation of the piston rod 26 in such a way that the gas spring 24 is compressed, i.e. the piston rod 26 penetrates into the cylinder 25. Due to the fact that the cord 21b is fastened at its ends to the pulley block carrier 13 and to the gas spring 24, it is ensured that when the gas spring 24 is compressed, the distance between the two deflection points or deflection rollers 20, 27 remains unchanged and the cord 21b does not sag during compression.
[0102] Displacement of the pulley block carrier 13 towards the first upper pulley block 9 is exerted against the spring force of the gas spring 24, which generates a restoring force that increases in proportion to the length of cable withdrawn. This results in a relatively flat spring characteristic, giving the user the sensation of being able to withdraw the cable 3 from the housing 2 with a nearly constant force. Additionally, the gas spring 24 provides damping of the retraction motion as tension on the cable 3 ceases and the cable 3 rewinds.
[0103] Further particularly preferred embodiment examples are described below with reference to Figures 11 to 13. Here, the important differences from the previous examples are described for brevity, and not all of the features already described (some of which are numbered by 100 and can be seen from the drawings) are described again.
[0104] 11-13 show a return or supply system 1 with a cable store for a Type 2 charging cable 3 for charging an electric vehicle, which has a number of pulleys 140.
[0105] Here too, the pulleys are grouped in two pulley blocks 109, 110 and arranged in such a way that the cable 3 in or laid on the pulley blocks 109, 110 can be wound and fixed in several turns (see Fig. 11B / 11D). Here too, the first pulley block 109 is fixedly mounted in place, for example screwed to a central support and guide profile (guide rail) 134 (see Fig. 11B). The second pulley block 110 is mounted so as to be vertically slidable relative to the first pulley block 109. As shown in Fig. 13, the second pulley block 110 is here vertically adjustable up and down on the support and guide profile 134, for example by means of a carriage or carriage-like pulley block carrier 113 guided by suitable roller bearings, as in Figs. 4a-4b.
[0106] In figures 11-13, the pulley block carrier 113 is also movable against the restoring force generated by two elastic expander cords 21a, 21b, which are deflected multiple times, as can be seen in figure 13. Each of the expander cords 21a, 21b is arranged in at least one loop via two deflection rollers 20 (see figure 13) spaced apart from each other in the guide direction, so that each expander cord 21a, 21b constitutes two parts of the loop, which here extend substantially vertically along the guide direction, before the expander cords 21a, 21b engage on the carriage or pulley block carrier 113. This multiple deflection of the expander cords 21a, 21b, here via the deflection rollers 20 attached to the ends of the support and guide profile 134, again ensures a uniform retraction force with a slightly increased spring characteristic, so that the spring force only increases slightly when the cable 3 is unwound. At the other end, the expander cords 21a, 21b are fastened to a support and guide profile 134 close to the lower deflection roller 20, so that the loops are stretched to more than 80% of the length of the guide profile 134 and the expander cords 21a, 21b already have a length that is approximately twice or more the total length of the guide profile 134 even in the fully retracted state.
[0107] An important difference and advantageous effect of the structure of the fourth embodiment example in Figures 11-13 is that at least one of the two pulley blocks 109, 110, each of the two pulley blocks 109, 110 in the illustrated example, has a plurality of pulleys 140 arranged in an arc-like distribution on a circular arc around the deflection axis. In each case, the plurality of pulleys 140, here a pulley group having four pulleys, are arranged in an arc-like distribution on a circular arc. The second pulley block 110 including all of its pulleys 140 arranged in an arc-like distribution is arranged on a linearly guided displaceable pulley block carrier 113 and is adjustable thereby.
[0108] As Figures 11A and 11C show, in each of the two pulley blocks 109, 110 the pulley groups or pulleys 140 are distributed on a circular arc, the angle of which is slightly less than 180 degrees. In each of the two pulley blocks 109, 110 the pulley groups, at least four, here five, are uniformly distributed around an imaginary deflection axis perpendicular to a guide plane that defines the guide profile 134 for the pulley block carrier 113 (see Figures 11A and 11C).
[0109] As can be seen in Figures 12A-12C, two structurally identically designed pulley blocks 109, 110 each have a substantially semicircular frame 142 with axles 141 distributed over an arc. As best seen in Figure 12C, each axle 141 supports four coaxial pulleys 140.
[0110] All pulleys 140 are preferably cable protection plastic pulleys of approximately semicircular cross-sectional profile designed for cables with a cable diameter of 12 mm or more for holding and guiding the cables 3 (see FIG. 12C). Each of the axles 141 of the pulley group is held and fastened to two axially opposed structurally identical carrier elements 150, which define or predefine a circular arc for the distributed axles 141 and can be manufactured as lightweight injection-molded plastic parts in a framework structure.
[0111] Figure 12C further shows that successive pulleys 140 in the direction of the arc are arranged axially offset relative to one another on the axle 141, so that the offset of the cable 3 during the transition from one pulley block 109, 110 to the other is reduced or minimized, see Figure 11D. Each pulley block is positioned offset by a few millimeters relative to the next, so that the cable 3 does not have to overcome any offset or only a very small offset when transitioning from one pulley block 109, 110 to the other.
[0112] As Figures 12A-12C show, each frame 142 is designed to constitute a pulley cage for holding the winding of the cable 3 securely on the pulley 140. For this purpose, each pulley block 109, 110 has a fixing bar 151, which is arranged offset radially outwardly with respect to the axle 141 of the distributed pulley 140 and is also distributed in the shape of a circular arc. The fixing bar 151 can be folded or pivoted open (shown open in Figures 12B-12C) and, in the closed state, as can be seen in Figures 12A and 11D, is held by one or both carrier elements 150 so as to hold the cable firmly against the pulley block 109, 110, so that the cable cannot fly out without the movement of the second pulley block 110, even if it is pushed by the user.
[0113] The pulley cage with the pulley blocks 109, 110 has multiple functions: they act to guide the line or cable 3, and contrary to the complete pulley (see figures 1-3), the pulley cage allows the two pulley blocks 109, 110 to be movable very close to each other with respect to their imaginary deflection axis (see the arc-shaped axis of the carrier element 150) of the winding. Thus, the line length required for the retraction function is reduced or less cable length is required. The folded fixing bar 151 protects the cable against "popping out" in an undesired manner. Due to the multiple deflections, long cable pull lengths are possible for systems with small installation space.
[0114] The construction, combined with the central guide rail 134 and the implementation of pulley blocks 109, 110 mounted on one side only, i.e. in a cantilevered manner, as in Figures 1-4, ensures that the system can be easily filled with cable without the cable having to be laboriously threaded.
[0115] 1-4, FIGS. 11B / 11D show that the second pulley block 110 is held in the pulley block carrier 113 in a cantilevered state on one side by only one of the two carrier elements 150, and the first pulley block 109 is fastened to the guide rail 134 of the pulley block carrier 113 by only one of the two carrier elements 150, and is therefore also cantilevered on one side.
[0116] Here, the guide rail 134 or guide profile 134 has, in relation to figures 1 to 4, a substantially C-shaped cross section with inwardly facing wing areas that spring back on the opposite side of the main surface. The guide profile 134 can be produced in the form of a carrier as a metal profile made of steel or aluminium and provides a strong and stable guidance for the mounting of the movable pulley block 110 on one side of the carriage-like pulley block carrier 113. An advantageous effect of the guide profile 134 is that this structure can be used in various housings or even without a housing.
[0117] A means is therefore proposed here for automatic rewinding of the cable 3, which prevents dangers and damage to the line due to incorrect winding or the cable 3 being placed on the ground. The system 1, 100 is used in applications where mobile terminals are connected to the cable 3 and which up until now have only been wound by hand, in particular in the case of charging stations or wall boxes for electric vehicles. Slip rings are completely unnecessary. [Explanation of symbols]
