Claims

1. A home appliance that is easy to clean, A cordless iron (10) comprising a body (12), a base plate (13) fitted to and attached to the body (12), and a grip handle (11) extending from the body (12); a charging base (20) with a dock (21) designed to hold the base plate (13) of said iron (10); Guiding and fixing means (30, 40) designed to guide the attachment of the iron (10) to the charging base (20) towards a charging position and to fix a heel portion of the iron (10) in the charging position, thereby allowing the household appliance to be carried by the grip handle (11), the guiding and fixing means (30, 40) comprising fins (31) extending rearward from the body (12) of the iron (10) and a cavity (32) formed in the charging base (20), the cavity (32) having a shape complementary to the fins (31), and designed to guide the attachment of the iron (10) to the charging base (20) towards a charging position and to fix a heel portion of the iron (10) in the charging position, thereby allowing the household appliance to be carried by the grip handle (11), the guiding and fixing means (30, 40) comprising fins (31) extending rearward from the body (12) of the iron (10) and a cavity (32) formed in the charging base (20), the cavity (32) having a shape complementary to the fins (31), a charging base (20) configured to hold the fin (31) so as to guide the iron (10) toward a charging position, the fin (31) having a cutout (33) formed therein, the charging base (20) having a fixing pin (34) protruding from the charging base (20) to be received in the cutout (33) when the iron (10) is placed on the charging base (20), the fixing pin (34) engaging with the cutout (33) when the iron (10) is in the charging position, and preventing the heel of the iron (10) from being lifted off the charging base (20) when an upward pulling force is applied to the grip handle (11).

The household appliance according to claim 1, wherein the dock (21) extends substantially in a table plane (P), the table plane (P) being, for example, inclined towards the cavity (32), the cutout (33) being made in such a way that a backward movement of the iron (10) in a plane parallel to the table plane (P) allows the fixing pin (34) to engage in the cutout (33), and the shape of the cutout (33) prevents the heel of the iron (10) from being lifted out of the dock (21) when the iron (10) is in a charging position.

The household appliance according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the guiding and fixing means (30, 40) comprises a fixing element (40) attached to the charging base (20) so as to be able to pivot between a folded position in which the fixing element (40) releases the main body (12) of the iron (10) and a fixing position in which the fixing element (40) engages with the main body (12) of the iron (10), for example a fixing position in which the fixing element (40) engages with a front part of the iron (10), whereby the main body (12) is held between the fixing element (40) and the charging base (20).

4. 4. The appliance of claim 3, wherein the fixing element (40) is shaped like an arch pivotally mounted on the charging base (20).

The household appliance according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the dock (21) extends substantially in the plane of the table (P) and the dock (21) comprises at least one roller (210) on which the bottom plate (13) of the iron (10) can roll during a backward movement of the iron (10) in a plane parallel to the plane of the table (P).

6. 6. The appliance of claim 1, further comprising an electrical connection (50) for providing power to the iron (10) in the charging position, the electrical connection (50) including a first portion of the charging base (20) and a second portion of the iron (10) near the heel.

7. 7. The appliance of claim 6, wherein the charging base (20) further comprises a pivoting panel designed to be moved from a closed position to an open position by the fins (31) when the iron (10) is placed on the charging base (20).

8. 8. The household appliance according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the charging base (20) includes a power lead and the iron (10) includes a heating element designed to heat the base plate (13) when the power lead is plugged into a power outlet and the household appliance is in a charging position.
