[0008] First Embodiment Hereinafter, a first embodiment of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0009] FIG. 1 shows a fastening structure 1 of this embodiment. The fastening structure 1 includes a resin member 2 and a fastening member 10. As shown in FIG. 1, in this embodiment, the resin member 2 is a spoiler attached to a vehicle C, and the structural body 4 is a roof panel of the vehicle C. Arrow W in FIG. 1 corresponds to the width direction of the vehicle C, arrow L corresponds to the front-rear direction of the vehicle C, and arrow H corresponds to the up-down direction of the vehicle C. The resin member 2 is not limited to the vehicle C, and may be a member attached to a framework or panel that forms an aircraft, ship, building, or other structure.
[0010] The resin member 2 includes a first resin member 20 disposed on the structural body 4 side and a second resin member 30 disposed opposite the first resin member 20. In this embodiment, the first resin member 20 is an inner panel of the spoiler. The second resin member 30 is an outer panel of the spoiler and forms the design surface of the vehicle C.
[0011] The first resin member 20 comprises a plate-shaped first general portion (an example of a general portion) 21 extending in the front-to-rear direction L and the width direction W, a protruding portion 23 protruding downward (opposite the arrow H) from the first general portion 21, and an internal connecting portion 25 connected to the second resin member 30.
[0012] The protruding portion 23 has a tip surface 23a that is the tip surface on the protruding side, a front vertical wall 23b that connects the first general portion 21 and the tip surface 23a, and a rear vertical wall 23c that is connected to the tip surface 23a and faces the front vertical wall 23b. The protruding portion 23 forms an accommodation space 23d that is defined by the tip surface 23a, the front vertical wall 23b, and the rear vertical wall 23c. The accommodation space 23d can accommodate electrical components of the vehicle C, such as brake lights, an imaging device, or various sensors.
[0013] The internal connecting portion 25 is provided in the first general portion 21 and is joined to the second resin member 30 by an adhesive (hot melt). However, the joining is not limited to this, and may be by screws, bolts and nuts, heat welding, double-sided tape, or other joining means.
[0014] The second resin member 30 includes a second general portion 31 that faces the first resin member 20 and extends in the front-rear direction L and the width direction W, and a folded-back portion 33 provided at the rear end of the second general portion 31 (the direction of arrow L in FIG. 1). The second general portion 31 is in partial contact with the first resin member 20 and faces the first resin member 20 with a gap therebetween. The folded-back portion 33 is hooked onto the rear edge of the first resin member 20. This causes the second resin member 30 to engage with the first resin member 20, forming a spoiler with a shell structure.
[0015] The first resin member 20 and the second resin member 30 may be made of a thermoplastic resin. The thermoplastic resin is, for example, polypropylene (PP). However, the thermoplastic resin is not limited to this, and may be selected from ABS resin, polyethylene (PE), acrylic styrene (ASA) resin, polystyrene (PS), acrylic resin, polycarbonate (PC) resin, polyamide, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and modified polyphenylene ether (modified PPE).
[0016] The first resin member 20 is provided with a seat 6. The seat 6 protrudes downward (opposite the arrow H) from the first general portion 21 and holds the fastening member 10.
[0017] The fastening member 10 is attached to the resin member 2. In this embodiment, the fastening member 10 is a metal bolt 11 and a metal nut 12, but is not limited to this and may be, for example, a clip, a screw, or other fastener. In this embodiment, the bolt 11 attached to the base 6 of the first resin member 20 is inserted into a bolt hole 4a provided in the structure 4. The bolt 11 protrudes through the bolt hole 4a to the opposite side of the first resin member 20. The nut 12 tightens the bolt 11 from the opposite side of the first resin member 20, sandwiching the structure 4 therebetween. As a result, the first resin member 20, and therefore the resin member 2, is fastened to the structure 4 by the fastening member 10.
[0018] FIG. 2 is a plan view of the first resin member 20 as viewed from the structural body 4 side. FIG. 1 corresponds to the cross section AA in FIG. 2. As shown in FIG. 2, the first general portion 21 of the first resin member 20 extends in a first direction X and a second direction Y intersecting the first direction X. The first resin member 20 is provided with a plurality of seats 6. In this embodiment, the seats 6 include a first seat 6a, a second seat 6b, a third seat 6c, and a fourth seat 6d, all of which are arranged in the first general portion 21. The fastening members 10 include a first fastening member 10a attached to the first seat 6a, a second fastening member 10b attached to the second seat 6b, a third fastening member 10c attached to the third seat 6c, and a fourth fastening member 10d attached to the fourth seat 6d. The configurations of the seats 6 and the fastening members 10 will be described below using the first seat 6a and the first fastening member 10a as examples.
[0019] Fig. 3 is an enlarged perspective view of portion B in Fig. 2. As shown in Fig. 3, the first resin member 20 further includes a top surface portion 40, a first side wall 41, a second side wall 42, a connecting wall 43, an opening 44, and a rib 45. The top surface portion 40, the first side wall 41, the second side wall 42, and the connecting wall 43 form the base 6, and each is a plate-like member having approximately the same thickness as the first general portion 21.
[0020] The top surface portion 40 protrudes from the first general portion 21 toward the vehicle C (in the third direction Z in this embodiment), expands in the first direction X and the second direction Y, and is spaced apart from the first general portion 21 in the third direction Z. The top surface portion 40 has a first end portion 40a extending in the first direction X, a second end portion 40b facing the first end portion 40a and extending in the first direction X, a third end portion 40c connecting the first end portion 40a and the second end portion 40b, and a fourth end portion 40d facing the third end portion 40c.
[0021] The top surface portion 40 is provided with a through hole 48 for holding the fastening member 10. The through hole 48 penetrates the top surface portion 40 in the third direction Z. In this embodiment, the through hole 48 is a slit extending in the first direction X. An end of the slit opens in the first direction X at a fourth end portion 40d of the top surface portion 40. The through hole 48 is defined by a first standing wall 48a extending in the first direction X and the third direction Z, a second standing wall 48b extending in the first direction X and the third direction Z and facing the first standing wall 48a, and a connecting wall 48c connecting the first standing wall 48a and the second standing wall 48b. In this embodiment, the through hole 48 faces outward from the vehicle C (see FIG. 1) along the first direction X. The through-hole 48 is not limited to a configuration facing the outside of the vehicle C along the first direction X, but may also be a configuration facing the inside of the vehicle C along the first direction X, or a configuration facing the front of the vehicle C along the second direction Y.
[0022] The first side wall 41 extends in the third direction Z and is disposed between the top surface portion 40 and the first general portion 21. The first side wall 41 has a first end 41a connected to the first end 40a of the top surface portion 40, and a second end 41b connected to the first general portion 21 on the opposite side of the first end 41a. The first side wall 41 of this embodiment is a standing wall connecting the top surface portion 40 and the first general portion 21.
[0023] The second side wall 42 extends in the third direction Z and is disposed between the top surface portion 40 and the first general portion 21. The second side wall 42 has a first end 42a connected to the second end 40b of the top surface portion 40 and a second end 42b connected to the first general portion 21 on the opposite side of the first end 42a. The second side wall 42 in this embodiment is a standing wall that connects the top surface portion 40 and the first general portion 21. The second side wall 42 is disposed at a first distance D1 from the first side wall 41 in the second direction Y and faces the first side wall 41.
[0024] The connecting wall 43 extends in the third direction Z and is disposed between the top surface portion 40 and the first general portion 21. The connecting wall 43 has a first end 43a connected to the third end 40c of the top surface portion 40 and a second end 43b connected to the first general portion 21 on the opposite side of the first end 43a. The connecting wall 43 of this embodiment is a standing wall that connects the third end 40c of the top surface portion 40 to the first general portion 21 and also connects the first side wall 41 to the second side wall 42.
[0025] As a result, a first storage space S1 surrounded by the top surface portion 40, the first side wall 41, the second side wall 42, and the connecting wall 43 is formed in the base 6. The first storage space S1 opens in the first direction X at the fourth end 40d of the top surface portion 40, similar to the through-hole 48. In this embodiment, the first storage space S1 faces the outside of the vehicle C (see FIG. 1) along the first direction X. Note that the first storage space S1 is not limited to a configuration facing the outside of the vehicle C along the first direction X, and may also be a configuration facing the inside of the vehicle C along the first direction X, or a configuration facing the front of the vehicle C along the second direction Y.
[0026] The opening 44 penetrates the first general portion 21 in the third direction Z. The opening 44 is located on the opening side of the first storage space S1 and the through-hole 48 of the top surface portion 40 in the first direction X, and is disposed adjacent to the top surface portion 40, the first side wall 41, and the second side wall 42, and is continuous with the first storage space S1 and the through-hole 48.
[0027] The rib 45 is a reinforcing upright wall extending from the first side wall 41 or the second side wall 42 to the first general portion 21. The rib 45 extends in the second direction Y and the third direction Z to connect the first side wall 41 and the first general portion 21, and the second side wall 42 and the first general portion 21. This allows the rib 45 to restrict deformation of the first side wall 41 and the second side wall 42 in the second direction Y and reinforce the base 6. The rib 45 includes a top surface 451 extending in the first direction X and the second direction Y. The top surface 451 is positioned at the same position as the top surface 40 or closer to the first general portion 21 than the top surface 40 in the third direction Z. In this embodiment, the top surface 451 is positioned at the same position as the top surface 40 in the third direction Z, and the top surface 451 and the surface of the top surface 40 are flush with each other.
[0028] One or more ribs 45 may be provided. The ribs 45 of this embodiment include a first rib 45a and a second rib 45b extending from the first side wall 41, and a third rib 45c and a fourth rib 45d extending from the second side wall 42. The first rib 45a and the second rib 45b are arranged at an interval in the first direction X. The third rib 45c and the fourth rib 45d are arranged at an interval in the first direction X. However, the number and positions of the ribs 45 can be changed depending on the size or shape of the top surface portion 40, the first side wall 41, and the second side wall 42.
[0029] Next, the configuration of the fastening member 10 will be described with reference to Fig. 4. As shown in Fig. 4, the fastening member 10 has a shaft 11a extending in the third direction Z, a first flange 11b, a second flange 11c, and a third flange 11d.
[0030] The first flange 11b extends from the shaft 11a in the first direction X and the second direction Y. The first flange 11b includes a first surface 101, a second surface 102 opposite the first surface 101, and a first side surface 111 connecting the first surface 101 and the second surface 102. The first flange 11b has a first length w1 in the second direction Y. The first flange 11b also has a first thickness h1 in the third direction Z. The first flange 11b of this embodiment has a disk shape extending from the axial center O of the shaft 11a, and its outer diameter is the first length w1. However, the first flange 11b may have a polygonal shape, such as a rectangular shape.
[0031] The second flange 11c extends from the axis 11a in the first direction X and the second direction Y. The second flange 11c includes a third surface 103 disposed on the first flange 11b side, a fourth surface 104 opposite the third surface 103, and a second side surface 112 connecting the third surface 103 and the fourth surface 104. The second flange 11c has a second length w2 in the second direction Y that is greater than the first length w1 of the first flange 11b. The second flange 11c also has a second thickness h2 in the third direction Z. In this embodiment, the second flange 11c is integrally formed with the first flange 11b. That is, the third surface 103 of the second flange 11c contacts the second surface 102 of the first flange 11b in the third direction Z. However, this is not limiting, and the second flange 11c may be spaced apart from the first flange 11b. The second flange 11c has a disk shape that spreads from the axial center O of the shaft 11a, and its outer diameter is a second length w2. However, the second flange 11c may have a polygonal shape such as a square shape.
[0032] The third flange 11d extends in the first direction X and the second direction Y and is attached to the shaft 11a with a small gap between it and the outer surface of the shaft 11a. The third flange 11d includes a fifth surface 105 on the side of the first flange 11b and the second flange 11c, a sixth surface 106 opposite the fifth surface 105, and a third side surface 113 connecting the fifth surface 105 and the sixth surface 106. The third flange 11d is spaced apart from the first flange 11b in the third direction Z, and the fifth surface 105 faces the first surface 101 of the first flange 11b. The third flange 11d has a third length w3 in the second direction Y. The third flange 11d also has a third thickness h3 in the third direction Z. The third flange 11d of this embodiment has a disk shape extending from the axial center O of the shaft 11a, and its outer diameter is the third length w3. However, the third flange 11d may have a polygonal shape such as a square shape.
[0033] FIG. 5(a) is a perspective view showing a state in which the fastening member 10 is attached to the base 6 (hereinafter referred to as the attached state), and FIG. 5(b) is a cross-sectional view showing a CC cross section of FIG. 5(a). As shown in FIG. 5(a), the shaft 11a of the fastening member 10 is inserted into the through-hole 48 of the top surface portion 40, and the shaft 11a passes through the through-hole 48. In this embodiment, the first flange 11b and the second flange 11c of the fastening member 10 are arranged on opposite sides of the structure 4 (see FIG. 5(b)) across the top surface portion 40 through the opening 44, and the shaft 11a, which is located between the first flange 11b and the third flange 11d, is inserted into the through-hole 48 and slid between the first standing wall 48a and the second standing wall 48b in the first direction X (the side opposite to the opening side of the through-hole 48), thereby attaching the fastening member 10 to the base 6 and achieving the attached state.
[0034] As shown in FIG. 5(b), the first length w1 of the first flange 11b in the second direction Y is smaller than the first distance D1 between the first side wall 41 and the second side wall 42. As a result, in the attached state, the first flange 11b is disposed inside the first housing space S1. Furthermore, the second length w2 of the second flange 11c in the second direction Y is larger than the first distance D1 between the first side wall 41 and the second side wall 42. As a result, in the attached state, the second flange 11c is disposed on the opposite side of the structure 4 with the first flange 11b in between, and is disposed outside the first housing space S1 between the first resin member 20 and the second resin member 30 (see FIG. 1). Furthermore, the first thickness h1 of the first flange 11b is equal to or greater than the distance T1 from the top surface portion 40 to the first general portion 21 in the third direction Z. More preferably, the first thickness h1 is equal to the distance T1. As a result, in the attached state, the third surface 103 of the second flange 11c is disposed in the third direction Z from the second resin member 30 side with a small gap between it and the first general portion 21. In this embodiment, in the attached state, the fastening member 10 contacts the first resin member 20 at multiple points on the top surface portion 40 and the first general portion 21.
[0035] In addition, in the attached state, the first surface 101 of the first flange 11b contacts the top surface 40 from inside the first housing space S1 in the third direction Z. The first side surface 111 of the first flange 11b faces the first side wall 41 and the second side wall 42 from inside the first housing space S1 in the second direction Y.
[0036] Furthermore, the third flange 11d is disposed between the structure 4 and the top surface portion 40 of the first resin member 20 in the third direction Z. As a result, the top surface portion 40 is sandwiched between the first flange 11b and the third flange 11d in the third direction Z.
[0037] In addition, at least a portion of the rib 45 is disposed opposite the second flange in the third direction Z, with the first general portion 21 interposed therebetween. As a result, the rib 45 overlaps with the second flange in the third direction Z.
[0038] Next, the effects of this embodiment will be described with reference to Fig. 6. As shown in Fig. 6(a), in the fastening structure 1 of this embodiment, a resin member 2 is fastened to a structure 4 via a fastening member 10. In such a fastening structure 1, an unintended load P may be applied to the rear end of the resin member 2 in a direction that causes the resin member 2 to be peeled away from the structure 4, for example, due to an object colliding with the resin member 2. The resin member 2 attempts to move in the direction indicated by the dashed line in response to the input load P, while the fastening member 10 is fixed to the structure 4.
[0039] As shown in FIG. 6( b), in a fastening structure 110 using a fastening member 100 that does not have a second flange 11 c (i.e., that has a shaft 11 a, a first flange 11 b, and a third flange 11 d), a load is input to the base 6 in the third direction Z from a point of contact with the fastening member 100. Specifically, the load is input to the base 6 from a region R1 where the first flange 11 b of the fastening member 100 contacts the top surface portion 40. Such a load causes stress concentration at each end of the top surface portion 40, the second side wall 42, and the first general portion 21, which are bending points of the base 6. If further load is input, the second side wall 42 of the base 6 rotates around the fastening member 100 in the second direction Y, as shown by the dashed line in FIG. 6( b), deforming the base 6 so that the through hole 48 in the top surface portion 40 expands, which may cause the fastening member 10 to fall off from the first resin member 20 and, ultimately, the resin member 2.
[0040] 6(c), in the fastening structure 1 of this embodiment, the fastening member 10 has a second flange 11c. As a result, a load is input to the first resin member 20 from a region R1 where the first surface 101 of the first flange 11b of the fastening member 10 contacts the top surface portion 40, and from a region R2 where the third surface 103 of the second flange 11c contacts the first general portion 21. In other words, the first resin member 20 can receive the load over a wider region including the base 6 and the first resin member 20 around the base 6, and as a result, stress concentration in the base 6 can be alleviated.
[0041] Furthermore, the first resin member 20 includes a rib 45. The rib 45 connects the first side wall 41 and the first general portion 21 and restricts movement of the first side wall 41 in the second direction Y. The rib 45 also connects the second side wall 42 and the first general portion 21 and restricts movement of the second side wall 42 in the second direction Y. This allows the rib 45 to suppress deformation of the base 6. As a result, the fastening member 10 of this embodiment prevents detachment of the fastening member 10 due to deformation of the base 6, and ultimately prevents detachment of the resin member 2 from the structure 4.
[0042] In addition, the rib 45 overlaps with the second flange 11c in the third direction Z. The rib 45 restricts deformation of the first general portion 21 around the base 6. This allows the rib 45 to suppress deformation of the first general portion 21 around the base 6 in the third direction Z.
[0043] Second Embodiment Next, a second embodiment of the present disclosure will be described with reference to Fig. 7. Note that, below, configurations that differ from the first embodiment will be described, and descriptions of overlapping configurations will be omitted.
[0044] Fig. 7(a) is a perspective view showing a state in which the fastening member 10 is attached to the base 6 in the second embodiment (attached state), and Fig. 7(b) is a cross-sectional view showing the DD cross section of Fig. 7(a). As shown in Fig. 7(a), the resin member 2 further includes a first intermediate portion 51, a second intermediate portion 52, a third side wall 53, and a fourth side wall 54. In this embodiment, the first intermediate portion 51, the second intermediate portion 52, the third side wall 53, and the fourth side wall 54 are all provided in the first resin member 20 and are plate-shaped with approximately the same thickness as the first general portion 21, and form the base 6 together with the top surface portion 40, the first side wall 41, and the second side wall 42.
[0045] The first intermediate portion 51 extends in the first direction X and the second direction Y and is parallel to the first general portion 21 and the top surface portion 40. The first intermediate portion 51 is disposed between the first general portion 21 and the top surface portion 40 in the third direction Z. The first intermediate portion 51 connects the first side wall 41 and the third side wall 53. The first intermediate portion 51 has a first end portion 51a connected to the second end portion 41b of the first side wall 41 and a second end portion 51b opposite the first end portion 51a.
[0046] The second intermediate portion 52 extends in the first direction X and the second direction Y and is parallel to the first general portion 21, the top surface portion 40, and the first intermediate portion 51. The second intermediate portion 52 is disposed between the first general portion 21 and the top surface portion 40 in the third direction Z. The second intermediate portion 52 connects the second side wall 42 and the fourth side wall 54. The second intermediate portion 52 has a first end 52a connected to the second end 42b of the second side wall 42, and a second end 52b opposite the first end 52a.
[0047] The third side wall 53 extends in the third direction Z and is disposed between the first intermediate portion 51 and the first general portion 21. The third side wall 53 has a first end 53a connected to the second end 51b of the first intermediate portion 51 and a second end 53b connected to the first general portion 21 on the opposite side of the first end 53a. The third side wall 53 of this embodiment is a standing wall connecting the first intermediate portion 51 and the first general portion 21. The first end 53a of the third side wall 53 and the second end 51b of the first intermediate portion 51 may be smoothly connected by a curved surface. This can alleviate stress concentration at the connection between the third side wall 53 and the first intermediate portion 51.
[0048] The fourth side wall 54 extends in the third direction Z and is disposed between the second intermediate portion 52 and the first general portion 21. The fourth side wall 54 has a first end 54a connected to the second end 52b of the second intermediate portion 52 and a second end 54b connected to the first general portion 21 on the opposite side of the first end 54a. Furthermore, the fourth side wall 54 is disposed at a second distance D2 from the third side wall 53 in the second direction Y and faces the third side wall 53. The second distance D2 is greater than the first distance D1 between the first side wall 41 and the second side wall 42. The fourth side wall 54 of this embodiment is a standing wall connecting the second intermediate portion 52 and the first general portion 21. The first end 54a of the fourth side wall and the second end 52b of the second intermediate portion 52 may be smoothly connected by a curved surface. This reduces stress concentration at the connection between the fourth side wall 54 and the second intermediate portion 52.
[0049] As a result, in the base 6 of this embodiment, a second storage space S2 is formed, surrounded by the first intermediate portion 51, the second intermediate portion 52, the third side wall 53, and the fourth side wall 54. The second storage space S2 is located on the opposite side of the structure 4 (see FIG. 7(b)) with respect to the first storage space S1 in the third direction Z, and is continuous with the first storage space S1. The second storage space S2 opens in the first direction X at the fourth end 40d of the top surface portion 40, similar to the first storage space S1. In this embodiment, the second storage space S2 faces outward from the vehicle C (see FIG. 1) along the first direction X, similar to the first storage space S1. The second storage space S2 only needs to face in the same direction as the first storage space S1, and is not limited to a configuration facing the outside of the vehicle C along the first direction X. It may also be a configuration facing the inside of the vehicle C along the first direction X together with the first storage space S1, or a configuration facing the front of the vehicle C along the second direction Y together with the first storage space S1.
[0050] The rib 45 of this embodiment extends from the first side wall 41 or the second side wall 42, through the first intermediate portion 51, the second intermediate portion 52, the third side wall 53, and the fourth side wall 54, to the first general portion 21. This allows the rib 45 to restrict deformation of the first side wall 41, the second side wall 42, the third side wall 53, and the fourth side wall 54 in the second direction Y. Furthermore, the rib 45 can restrict deformation of the first intermediate portion 51 and the second intermediate portion 52 in the third direction Z. As a result, the rib 45 can suppress deformation of the base 6.
[0051] 7(b), in this embodiment, the second length w2 of the second flange 11c in the second direction Y is smaller than the second distance D2 between the third side wall 53 and the fourth side wall 54. The second flange 11c is disposed within the second accommodation space S2 at a distance from the third side wall 53 and the fourth side wall 54 in the second direction Y.
[0052] Returning to FIG. 6(b), in a fastening member 100 that does not have a second flange 11c, the first side surface 111 of the first flange 11b is positioned outermost in the second direction Y. In such a fastening structure 110, when the top surface portion 40 under load moves in such a manner as to be pulled up along the third direction Z as indicated by the dashed line in FIG. 6(b), the top surface portion 40 comes into contact with the first side surface 111 of the first flange 11b. As a result, stress concentration occurs in the top surface portion 40 at a contact position F1 with the first side surface 111 of the first flange 11b. Furthermore, because the connection portion between the top surface portion 40 and the second side wall 42 is a bent portion, stress concentration also occurs at the second end portion 40b of the top surface portion 40 (the first end portion 42a of the second side wall 42). 6(b), the contact position F1 where stress concentration occurs and the second end 40b of the top surface portion 40 (the first end 42a of the second side wall 42) are close to each other in the second direction Y. Therefore, stress is particularly concentrated near the contact position F1 of the top surface portion 40, and there is a risk that the base 6 will deform starting from the vicinity of the contact position F1.
[0053] On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 7( b), in the fastening member 10 of this embodiment, the second side surface 112 of the second flange 11c is located outermost in the second direction Y. When a load is input to such a fastening structure 1, stress concentration occurs at a contact position F2 between the second intermediate portion 52 and the second side surface 112. Furthermore, because the connection portion between the second intermediate portion 52 and the fourth side wall 54 is also a bent portion, stress concentration also occurs at the second end 52b of the second intermediate portion 52 (the first end 54a of the fourth side wall 54). In this embodiment, as described above, the second flange 11c is disposed away from the fourth side wall 54 in the second direction Y. Therefore, the contact position F2 where stress concentration occurs is separated from the second end 52b of the second intermediate portion 52 (the first end 54a of the fourth side wall 54). As a result, the fastening structure 1 can alleviate stress concentration in the second intermediate portion 52 and, ultimately, the base 6, thereby suppressing deformation of the base 6.
[0054] The second thickness h2 of the second flange 11c is smaller than the distance T2 from the first intermediate portion 51 and the second intermediate portion 52 to the first general portion 21 in the third direction Z. This allows the second flange 11c to be disposed within the second housing space S2. As a result, in the attached state, when the first flange 11b is disposed within the first housing space S1 and the first surface 101 of the first flange 11b contacts the top surface portion 40 from the second resin member 30 side in the third direction Z, the third surface 103 of the second flange 11c is disposed with a small gap between it and the second intermediate portion 52 and the fourth side wall 54 from the second resin member 30 side in the third direction Z or in contact with them. Furthermore, the entire second flange 11c can be disposed within the second housing space S2. As a result, the base 6 can prevent the fastening member 10 from protruding toward the second resin member 30 (see FIG. 1) in the third direction Z, and thus can prevent interference between the fastening member 10 and the second resin member 30.
[0055] As described above, the resin member 2 according to this embodiment can provide the following effects.
[0056] A fastening structure (1) fastening a resin member (2) to a structural body (4) with a fastening member (10), the fastening structure (1) comprising the resin member (2) and the fastening member (10), the resin member (2) comprising: a general portion (first general portion) (21) extending in a first direction (X) and a second direction (Y) intersecting the first direction (X); a top surface portion (40) protruding from the general portion (21) toward the structural body (4) and disposed spaced apart from the general portion (21) in a third direction (Z) intersecting the first direction (X) and the second direction (Y); a first side wall (41) extending in the third direction (Z) and disposed between the top surface portion (40) and the general portion (21); and a second side wall 42 arranged between the first and second side walls 41 and 42, and the fastening member 10 has an axis 11a extending in the third direction Z and passing through a through hole 48 provided in the top surface portion 40, a first flange 11b arranged on the opposite side of the structure 4 across the top surface portion 40 and extending from the axis 11a in the second direction Y, and a second flange 11c arranged on the opposite side of the structure 4 across the first flange 11b and extending from the axis 11a in the second direction Y, and the first flange 11b is arranged between the first side wall 41 and the second side wall 42, and the size of the second flange 11c in the second direction Y is greater than the first distance D1.
[0057] According to this fastening structure 1, in the third direction Z, the first flange 11b of the fastening member 10 contacts the top surface portion 40 of the resin member 2, and the second flange 11c contacts the first general portion 21 of the resin member 2. Therefore, a load input to the first resin member 20 can be distributed to the top surface portion 40 as well as the first general portion 21 around the top surface portion 40, the first side wall 41, and the second side wall 42, thereby mitigating stress concentration. As a result, the fastening member 10 is prevented from falling off due to deformation of the top surface portion 40 in the third direction Z, and ultimately, the resin member 2 can be prevented from falling off from the structure 4.
[0058] Furthermore, the resin member 2 may further have a rib 45 extending from the first side wall 41 or the second side wall 42 to the general portion 21. This connects and reinforces the first side wall 41 and the second side wall 42 to the first general portion 21, and suppresses deformation of the first side wall 41 and the second side wall 42 in the second direction Y.
[0059] Furthermore, the rib 45 may overlap the second flange 11c in the third direction Z. This allows the rib 45 to suppress deformation of the first general portion 21 around the base 6 in the third direction Z.
[0060] Furthermore, the resin member 2 includes a first intermediate portion 51 connected to an end (second end 41b) of the first side wall 41 opposite to the top surface portion 40 and extending in the second direction Y, a third side wall 53 extending in the third direction Z and connecting the first intermediate portion 51 and the general portion 21, a second intermediate portion 52 connected to an end (second end) 42b of the second side wall 42 opposite to the top surface portion 40 and extending in the second direction Y, and a third side wall 53 extending in the third direction Z. and a fourth side wall 54 extending in the second direction Y, connecting the second intermediate portion 52 and the general portion 21, and facing the third side wall 53 with a second distance D2 in the second direction Y, the second flange 11c being disposed between the third side wall 53 and the fourth side wall 54, and the second flange 11c may come into contact with the first intermediate portion 51 and the second intermediate portion 52 when the first flange 11b comes into contact with the top surface portion.
[0061] This allows the connection points between the first intermediate portion 51 and the third side wall 53 and the connection points between the second intermediate portion 52 and the fourth side wall 54 to be located at positions farther away from the top surface portion 40 than the ends of the second flange 11c in the second direction Y. As a result, when a load is input to the first resin member 20, stress concentration at the ends of the second flange 11c can be alleviated.
[0062] Furthermore, the first intermediate portion 51 and the third side wall 53 may be connected by a curved surface, and the second intermediate portion 52 and the fourth side wall 54 may be connected by a curved surface. This allows the end of the second flange 11c to be spaced apart from the connection point between the first intermediate portion 51 and the third side wall 53 and the connection point between the second intermediate portion 52 and the fourth side wall 54. As a result, stress concentration at the connection point between the first intermediate portion 51 and the third side wall 53 and the connection point between the second intermediate portion 52 and the fourth side wall 54 can be alleviated.
[0063] Although the embodiments of the present disclosure have been described above, the present disclosure is not limited to the above embodiments, and various modifications are possible within the scope of the gist of the invention. In particular, the multiple modifications described in this specification can be combined as needed.
[0064] In the above embodiment, a spoiler is given as an example of a resin member, but the technology of the present disclosure is not limited to this and can be applied to any resin member that requires high rigidity in terms of size or shape. [Explanation of symbols]
