Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to an oil-based cleansing composition.
Background Art
[0002] In recent years, in makeup cosmetics such as lipsticks, mascaras, eyeshadows, foundations, etc., products with excellent wear resistance in both water and oil and good makeup retention have been developed.
[0003] Such cosmetics are more difficult to remove compared to standard products, and the demand for cleansing compositions with excellent cleaning performance is increasing. Therefore, cleansing compositions such as cleansing oils that are compatible with makeup and have good dirt removal, cleansing sheets containing oily components, and cleansing balms obtained by solidifying cleansing oil with wax are preferred by general consumers.
[0004] For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a makeup removing composition containing: i. at least one branched or straight-chain liquid alkane having a carbon chain length of C11 - C20; ii. at least one polar skin softening agent having a molecular weight of 400 g / mol or less; iii. at least one polymer thickener for aqueous systems; iv. at least one surfactant; and v. water present at about 70% to about 85% by weight of the composition.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0006] In Patent Document 1, it is disclosed that branched or straight-chain liquid alkanes having a carbon chain length of C11 - C20 mainly use isohexadecane and isododecane. However, because oily components such as isohexadecane and isododecane have very low viscosity and high volatility, adding them resulted in the loss of the cleansing composition's desirable texture, making it difficult to spread on the skin.
[0007] On the other hand, in recent years, there has been a growing demand in the cosmetics market for products containing naturally derived, particularly plant-derived, ingredients. Volatile hydrocarbons used as oily components are mainly petroleum-derived, and products containing plant-derived, branched volatile hydrocarbons are not currently available on the market.
[0008] Therefore, the present invention aims to provide an oily cleansing composition containing plant-derived volatile hydrocarbons that exhibits excellent makeup removal performance and texture. [Means for solving the problem]
[0009] As a result of diligent research, the inventors of the present invention have found that all of the above-mentioned problems can be solved by including a volatile hydrocarbon as an oily component that is 100% naturally derived and has 12 to 14 carbon atoms, and by including a specific content of both linear and branched volatile hydrocarbons in the present invention.
[0010] In other words, the present invention is an oily cleansing composition that contains a volatile hydrocarbon as an oily component, which is 100% naturally derived and has 12 to 14 carbon atoms, wherein the volatile hydrocarbon includes a linear structure and a branched structure, and the content of the branched structure relative to the total volatile hydrocarbon is 5% by mass or more and 70% by mass or less.
[0011] In the oily cleansing composition of the present invention, the oily component preferably includes an ester oil. Furthermore, it is preferable that the above-mentioned ester oil is at least one selected from the group consisting of ethylhexyl palmitate, (caprylic / capric acid) glyceryl, caprylyl caprylate, methylheptyl laurate, cetyl caprylate, and dicaprylyl maleate. Furthermore, it is preferable that the material contains a surfactant. Furthermore, the content of the above-mentioned oily component is preferably 50% by mass or more and 90% by mass or less based on the total mass of the above-mentioned oily cleansing composition. Furthermore, the amount of the surfactant is preferably 10% by mass or more and 30% by mass or less based on the total mass of the oily cleansing composition. [Effects of the Invention]
