Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0004] By the way, if dust or the like adheres to the inspection object, the inspection accuracy will decrease. Therefore, it is preferable that the lighting fixture for inspection does not accumulate dust or the like as much as possible and dust or the like does not fall.

[0005] Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a lighting device in which dust or the like is less likely to accumulate and less likely to fall as compared with the prior art.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0006] One aspect of the present invention for solving the above-mentioned problems is a lighting device that is attached to a mounting surface, comprising a main body and a cover, wherein the main body has a first light-emitting part, and when the first light-emitting part is viewed from above, it has two sides that face each other on either side of the first light-emitting part, the cover is a sheet-like body whose length in the direction of the two sides facing each other is longer than the distance between the two sides of the main body, the cover is fixed near both ends to the end faces to which the two sides of the main body belong, the middle part is curved to cover the first light-emitting part, and when attached to the mounting surface, the back surface of the main body is in surface contact with the mounting surface and fixed.

[0007] In this context, "mounting surface" refers to the surface to which the product is to be attached, such as the walls of fixed structures like ceilings, walls, and floors, or the walls of furniture such as workbenches. In this context, "near the edge of the cover" refers to the area from the edge of the cover to a point where the distance between the two sides of the cover is less than or equal to 1 / 3 of the distance between them in the opposite direction.

[0008] According to this design, the middle section of the cover, which is longer than the main body, is curved to cover the first light-emitting section. As a result, dust and other debris do not accumulate on the first light-emitting section, and dust and other debris do not easily accumulate on the cover. If dust and other debris do accumulate, it is less likely to fall to the user's hand in a clump. According to this design, the back surface of the main body is in surface contact with the mounting surface and is fixed tightly, making it difficult for dust and other debris to enter and accumulate in the gap between the main body and the mounting surface.

[0009] A preferred configuration is such that the main body portion has side fastener portions on the end faces to which the two sides belong, the cover portion has side fastener portions on the cover near both ends, and the cover portion is fixed to the main body portion by the side fastener portions of the cover adhering to the side fastener portions of the main body.

[0010] According to this design, the cover can be easily attached to and detached from the main body in a non-destructive manner.

[0011] A preferred configuration is that, when the first light-emitting part is viewed from above, the main body is rectangular in shape, with the two sides constituting the longer sides.

[0012] According to this design, since the cover is attached to the end face in the width direction of the main body, the cover can be easily and stably fixed to the main body.

[0013] A preferred configuration is one in which the main body has a plurality of light-emitting parts, the plurality of light-emitting parts having the first light-emitting part, and the cover spans over the first light-emitting part and other light-emitting parts adjacent to the first light-emitting part.

[0014] According to this design, a single cover can suppress light obstruction by dust and other debris from reaching multiple light-emitting parts. According to this configuration, the boundary between the first light-emitting part and the other light-emitting parts can be blurred, resulting in emitted light that spreads over a wide area.

[0015] A more preferable configuration is that the cover portion is a light-diffusing cover.

[0016] According to this pattern, the boundary between the first light-emitting section and the adjacent light-emitting section is less noticeable.

[0017] A preferred feature is that the main body has an average thickness of 15 mm or less.

[0018] In this context, "average thickness" refers, for example, to the arithmetic mean thickness of three points that are 20 mm or more apart without any omission.

[0019] According to this design, the main body is thin, so the overall product is not bulky.

[0020] A preferred configuration is one in which the main body comprises a power storage unit and a second light-emitting unit, and the second light-emitting unit emits light using power supplied from the power storage unit.

[0021] According to this aspect, since it includes a power storage unit for lighting the second light emitting unit, it can function as an emergency light by lighting the second light emitting unit in an emergency such as a power outage.

[0022] A more preferable aspect includes a first switch unit that switches the supply and cutoff of power to the first light emitting unit, and a second switch unit that switches the supply and cutoff of power to the second light emitting unit.

[0023] According to this aspect, since the first light emitting unit and the second light emitting unit can be individually lit and extinguished, the light emitting unit used can be appropriately changed according to the situation.

[0024] A more preferable aspect is that the second light emitting unit is arranged side by side with the first light emitting unit.

[0025] According to this aspect, a unified and refined appearance can be achieved.

Effects of the Invention

[0026] According to the present invention, compared with the prior art, dust and the like are less likely to accumulate and less likely to fall.

Modes for Carrying Out the Invention

[0028] Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below.

[0029] The first embodiment of the present invention, as shown in Figure 1, is an inspection lighting device for an operator 106 to inspect an object 103, and is attached to the mounting surface 101 of a workbench 100, and irradiates inclined light onto a mounting surface 102 on which the object 103 can be placed. As shown in Figure 2, the lighting device 1 has a main body 2 and a cover 3 as its main components.

[0030] (Main body 2) As shown in Figures 3 and 4, the main body 2 includes a lighting unit 11, fixing units 12a and 12b, and side fastener units 13a and 13b. As shown in Figure 4, the lighting unit 11 is a plate-shaped portion with a light-emitting surface 5 and a mounting surface 6 as its two main surfaces. The light-emitting surface 5 is equipped with one or more light-emitting units 10 (10a to 10f) (first light-emitting units), and a planar light-emitting panel is built into the position corresponding to each light-emitting unit 10. The lighting unit 11 includes a power supply wiring unit 14 electrically connected to a planar light-emitting panel corresponding to each light-emitting unit 10, and a first switch unit (not shown) that switches between supplying and cutting off power from the power supply wiring unit 14 to the planar light-emitting panels of each light-emitting unit 10. A surface-emitting panel is a light-emitting panel that emits light in a surface area when lit. For example, an LED panel or an organic EL panel, in which LEDs are scattered in a surface area, can be used. The planar light-emitting panel of this embodiment is a planar light source and is an organic EL panel capable of emitting diffused light. The power wiring section 14 can be connected to a regular power source such as a commercial power supply, and when connected to a regular power source, power can be supplied between the regular power source and each surface-emitting panel.

[0031] As shown in Figure 4(a), the lighting unit 11 has a horizontally elongated rectangular shape with a width in the vertical direction Y and extending in the horizontal direction X when the light-emitting surface 5 is viewed from above, and has long horizontal sides 15, 16 and short vertical sides 17, 18.

[0032] The thickness of the lighting section 11 (the width of the end faces 30 and 31 to which the horizontal sides 15 and 16 belong) is the same as or greater than the width of the main body side fastener sections 13a and 13b. From the viewpoint of ensuring sufficient surface area of the main body side fastener sections 13a and 13b for adhesion, it is preferable that the thickness be 5 mm or more, and from the viewpoint of miniaturization, it is preferable that the average thickness be 15 mm or less.

[0033] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 4(b), the lighting unit 11 is equipped with magnetic force generating units 20a to 20f on the mounting surface 6 side. The magnetic force generating units 20a to 20f are made of permanent magnets and can be attached to and detached from the magnetic layer 110 that makes up the surface of the mounting surface 101 by magnetic force. As shown in Figures 3 and 4(b), the lighting unit 11 has a notch 19 that spans the mounting surface 6, the end face 31 to which the horizontal side 16 belongs, and the end face 33 to which the vertical side 18 belongs, and the power supply wiring section 14 extends inward and outward from the notch 19.

[0034] As shown in Figure 4(a), the fixing parts 12a and 12b are the parts that fix the lighting unit 11 to the mounting surface 101, and are protruding parts that extend outward in the longitudinal direction from the end faces 32 and 33 (end faces to which the vertical sides 17 and 18 belong) in the longitudinal direction (horizontal direction X) of the lighting unit 11.

[0035] The fixing portions 12a and 12b are provided with through holes 40a and 40b through which the fastening elements 111a and 111b can be inserted in the thickness direction. The insertion holes 40a and 40b are through holes that penetrate the fixing parts 12a and 12b in the thickness direction.

[0036] The main body side fasteners 13a and 13b are hook-and-loop fasteners that have width in the thickness direction of the lighting unit 11 and extend in the lateral direction X, as shown in Figures 3 and 4, and are provided on the end faces 30 and 31 (end faces to which the lateral sides 15 and 16 belong) in the width direction (vertical direction Y) of the lighting unit 11.

[0037] (Cover part 3) The cover portion 3 is a diffuse cover that diffuses light and transmits it in the thickness direction. That is, when light is incident on the cover portion 3 in the thickness direction, some or all of it is emitted as scattered light. As shown in Figure 5, the cover portion 3 is a sheet-like body in which, when unfolded into a flat surface, its widthwise length W2 is longer than the distance W1 between the horizontal sides 15 and 16 of the lighting portion 11 (see Figure 4(b)). The cover section 3 includes a cover body 51 and cover side fastener sections 50a and 50b located near both ends of the cover body 51 in the width direction (horizontal direction X).

[0038] The cover body 51 is a flexible rectangular sheet-like body, with its middle portion in the width direction exposed from the cover side fastener portions 50a and 50b. The cover side fastener sections 50a and 50b are paired with the main body side fastener sections 13a and 13b of the main body section 2, and are hook-and-loop fasteners that can be attached to and detached from the main body side fastener sections 13a and 13b without destruction. In other words, the cover side zipper sections 50a and 50b are the B side (loop side) when the main body side zipper sections 13a and 13b are the A side (hook side), and the cover side zipper sections 50a and 50b are the A side when the main body side zipper sections 13a and 13b are the B side.

[0039] The side zipper portions 50a and 50b of the cover extend in the horizontal direction X along two sides of the cover body 51 that are opposite to the vertical direction Y. The widths of the cover side zipper sections 50a and 50b are, respectively, wider than the widths of the main body side zipper sections 13a and 13b, and preferably 1.2 times or more and 3 times or less the width of the main body side zipper sections 13a and 13b.

[0040] (Workbench 100) As shown in Figure 1, the workbench 100 has a mounting surface 101 on which the lighting device 1 is attached, and a mounting surface 102 on which the object to be inspected 103 is placed. The mounting surface 101 faces the mounting surface 102 with a vertical gap between them and is inclined with respect to the mounting surface 102 at a predetermined angle. The inclination angle of the mounting surface 101 with respect to the mounting surface 102 (the angle between the first reference plane passing through the mounting surface 102 and the second reference plane passing through the mounting surface 101) is preferably 0 degrees or more and less than 90 degrees, and more preferably greater than 0 degrees and 45 degrees or less. In this embodiment, the workbench 100 has a horizontal mounting surface 102 and a mounting surface 101 that is inclined with respect to the horizontal surface.

[0041] As shown in Figure 2, the mounting surface 101 has a magnetic layer 110 formed on part or all of its surface, and the magnetic force generating parts 20a to 20f of the lighting unit 11 are detachable. The mounting surface 101 is provided with fastening portions 121a and 121b that can be fastened with fastening elements 111a and 111b.

[0042] The fastening elements 111a and 111b are fixing members that secure the main body 2 to the mounting surface 101, and specifically are fastening elements such as screws, nails, and rivets.

[0043] Next, the positional relationships of each component when the lighting device 1 of this embodiment is attached to the workbench 100 will be described.

[0044] The lighting device 1 has a flat mounting surface 6 on its back, and is mounted so that the mounting surface 6 is parallel to the mounting surface 101, making surface contact with the mounting surface 101. The lighting device 1 preferably has a mounting surface 6 that is in surface contact with the mounting surface 101 over a range of 90% or more, and more preferably has surface contact over a range of 95% or more. In this embodiment, the entire mounting surface 6 of the lighting device 1 is in surface contact with the mounting surface 101, and there is virtually no gap between the mounting surface 6 and the mounting surface 101. As shown in Figure 1, the lighting device 1 has its light-emitting surface 5 oriented in a direction of inclination relative to the mounting surface 102, in accordance with the inclination of the mounting surface 101, and is capable of irradiating light from each light-emitting part 10 to an area including the object to be inspected 103.

[0045] The main body 2 is attached to the mounting surface 101 by the magnetic force between the magnetic force generating parts 20a to 20f and the magnetic layer 110 on the surface of the mounting surface 101. Furthermore, the fastening elements 111a and 111b are inserted through the insertion holes 40a and 40b of the fixing parts 12a and 12b, and the fastening elements 111a and 111b are fastened to the fastened parts 121a and 121b, thereby also being attached to the mounting surface 101.

[0046] The cover portion 3 is attached to the main body portion 2 by bonding the cover side fastener portions 50a and 50b to the main body side fastener portions 13a and 13b provided on the end faces 30 and 31 of the lighting portion 11. As described above, the width of the cover section 3 is longer than the width of the lighting section 11. Therefore, as shown in Figures 1 and 2, when viewed from the side, the middle section sags and hangs down due to gravity, and the middle section curves in an arc shape to cover each of the light-emitting sections 10a to 10f. In other words, the cover portion 3 spans across the space between adjacent light-emitting units 10, 10, and when viewed from the worker's side 106, the non-light-emitting portion between adjacent light-emitting units 10, 10 is hidden by the cover portion 3.

[0047] In the lighting device 1 of this embodiment, the length of the cover portion 3 is longer than the main body portion 2 in the opposing directions of the two sides 15 and 16, and the middle portion of the cover portion 3 is curved to cover each light-emitting portion 10a to 10f. As a result, dust and other debris do not accumulate on the light-emitting portions 10a to 10f, and dust and other debris do not easily accumulate on the cover portion 3. Therefore, dust and other debris do not accumulate and build up on the light-emitting portions 10a to 10f, and it is less likely that a large amount of dust and other debris will fall onto the hands of the worker 106 or the object being inspected 103. According to the lighting device 1 of this embodiment, the mounting surface 6, which is the back surface of the main body 2, is in surface contact with the mounting surface 101 and is fixed in close contact, so dust and the like are less likely to enter between the main body 2 and the mounting surface 101 and less likely to accumulate.

[0048] According to the lighting device 1 of this embodiment, the cover portion 3 is fixed to the main body portion 2 by the cover side fastener portions 50a and 50b being adhered to the main body side fastener portions 13a and 13b, so the cover portion 3 can be easily attached to and detached from the main body portion 2 non-destructively. Therefore, only the cover portion 3 can be washed.

[0049] According to the lighting device 1 of this embodiment, since the cover portion 3 is attached to the end faces 30 and 31 in the width direction of the main body portion 2, the cover portion 3 can be easily and stably fixed to the main body portion 2.

[0050] In the lighting device 1 of this embodiment, since the cover portion 3 spans and covers one light-emitting portion 10 and other light-emitting portions 10 adjacent to the first light-emitting portion 10, the cover portion 3 can suppress light obstruction by dust and the like to the multiple light-emitting portions 10. In addition, the boundary between one light-emitting portion 10 and other light-emitting portions 10 can be blurred, resulting in emitted light that spreads over a wide area.

[0051] According to the lighting device 1 of this embodiment, since the cover portion 3 is a light-diffusing cover, the boundaries between each light-emitting portion 10 are less noticeable, and the non-light-emitting portions can be made less visible.

[0052] According to the lighting device 1 of this embodiment, the average thickness of the main body 2 is 15 mm or less, which is thinner than conventional devices, so the overall device is less bulky.

[0053] According to the lighting device 1 of this embodiment, since the width of the cover side fasteners 50a and 50b is longer than the width of the main body side fasteners 13a and 13b, the ends of the cover side fasteners 50a and 50b do not need to be perfectly aligned with the ends of the main body side fasteners 13a and 13b, and the adhesion points of the cover side fasteners 50a and 50b to the main body side fasteners 13a and 13b can be adjusted. Furthermore, by adjusting the adhesion points, the curvature of the cover portion 3 can be adjusted.

[0054] Next, a lighting device according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described. Note that components and methods similar to those of the lighting device 1 of the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals and their descriptions are omitted.

[0055] The lighting device of the second embodiment differs from the main body 2 of the lighting device 1 of the first embodiment in the configuration of the main body. As shown in Figure 6, the main body 202 of the second embodiment includes, in addition to the components of the main body 2, a power storage unit (not shown) having a rechargeable battery such as a secondary battery, one or more second light-emitting units 210 powered by the power storage unit, and a second switch unit (not shown) that switches between supplying and cutting off power from the power storage unit to the second light-emitting units 210. In other words, the lighting device of the second embodiment has a second light-emitting unit 210 that is powered by an emergency power supply, in addition to a light-emitting unit 10 that is powered by a normal power supply via a power wiring unit 14. The second light-emitting unit 210 is not particularly limited, but for example, a point light source that emits light at a point, such as an LED, can be used. The second light-emitting section 210 is located outside each light-emitting section 10 when viewed from above, and is positioned so as not to overlap with each light-emitting section 10.

[0056] According to the lighting device of the second embodiment, the main body 202 is equipped with a power storage unit for lighting the second light-emitting unit 210, so that it can function as an emergency light by lighting the second light-emitting unit 210 in emergencies such as power outages when power cannot be supplied from the normal power source.

[0057] According to the lighting device of the second embodiment, the light-emitting unit 10 and the second light-emitting unit 210 can be turned on and off individually, so the light-emitting units 10 and 210 used can be appropriately changed according to the situation.

[0058] In the second embodiment described above, the second light-emitting unit 210 was provided outside the light-emitting unit 10, but the present invention is not limited thereto. The second light-emitting unit 210 may be provided in place of either of the light-emitting units 10. This allows for a unified and refined appearance.

[0059] In the embodiments described above, the case in which the lighting device 1 is attached to the mounting surface 101 of the workbench 100 was explained, but the present invention is not limited thereto. The mounting surface 101 may also be the ceiling, wall, floor, or other wall surface of a fixed structure. For example, the ceiling surface may be used as the mounting surface 101. The lighting device 1 may also be attached to a workbench 100 in which the mounting surface 101 is horizontal and the mounting surface 102 is inclined with respect to the horizontal plane.

[0061] In the embodiments described above, the case in which the lighting device 1 is installed on a workbench 100 and used as a work lighting device was explained, but the present invention is not limited thereto. The lighting device 1 may also be used as a regular lighting fixture.

[0062] In the embodiment described above, the lighting device 1 was rectangular when viewed from the front, but the present invention is not limited to this, and any shape having at least one side is acceptable. For example, the lighting device 1 may be a polygon such as a triangle, pentagon, or hexagon when viewed from the front.

[0063] In the embodiment described above, the entire cover portion 3 was arc-shaped, but the present invention is not limited to this. It is sufficient if only a part of the cover portion 3 (for example, the bottom portion) is arc-shaped.

[0064] In the embodiment described above, the light-emitting surface 5 was equipped with six light-emitting units 10a to 10f, but the present invention is not limited thereto. The light-emitting surface 5 may be equipped with five or fewer light-emitting units 10, or with seven or more light-emitting units 10.

[0065] In the embodiment described above, the light-emitting surface 5 had multiple light-emitting units 10 arranged in a single row, but the present invention is not limited thereto. The light-emitting surface 5 may have multiple light-emitting units 10 arranged in two or more rows.
