Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] As an example of such a spool attachment / detachment device, Patent Document 1 discloses a spool attachment / detachment device for a spinning reel for fishing, characterized in that an annular locking recess is formed at the tip of the reel shaft which slides in the front-rear direction by the rotation of the handle, and a ring spring is attached to the center of the front flange of the spool so as to be able to expand radially outward, and an expanding cylindrical part is formed on the back side facing the front flange of the spool, positioned in front of the ring spring and having approximately the same diameter as the front flange of the spool, and is inserted between the parallel straight rods that constitute the clamping part of the ring spring to expand the clamping part, and this operating plate is housed and held by a retaining ring provided on the outer circumference of the front flange, and a coil spring is compressed and attached between the back side of the operating plate and the front flange.
[0005] Furthermore, Patent Document 2 discloses a drag device provided at the front of a spool that is rotatably supported on a spool shaft, the spool braking force can be adjusted by rotating a drag knob screwed onto the front of the spool shaft, and the spool can be detached from the spool shaft by pressing a push button of a spool attachment / detachment device installed between the spool shaft (including a cylindrical shaft that is detachably attached and fixed to the spool shaft) and the drag knob.
[0006] However, the spool attachment / detachment device in Patent Document 1 does not have a drag mechanism, and there is a problem that it becomes difficult to provide a spool attachment / detachment device if a drag mechanism is provided. On the other hand, in the drag mechanism in Patent Document 2, the spool can be detached from the spool shaft by pressing a push button on the spool attachment / detachment device that is installed between the spool shaft and the drag knob, but because the push button is provided on the drag mechanism, the operability is not good, and not only is it not necessarily easy to attach and detach the spool from the reel body, but the exposed push button also affects the design.

Embodiments for Carrying out the Invention
[0022] Hereinafter, embodiments of the braking force control device according to the present invention and a fishing reel provided with the same will be specifically described with reference to the accompanying drawings. The same reference numerals are assigned to common components in the plurality of drawings. Note that each drawing is not necessarily drawn to an exact scale for convenience of explanation.
[0023] First, referring to FIG. 1, the overall configuration of a fishing spinning reel 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 1 is a diagram showing the structure of a fishing spinning reel 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[0024] [[ID=I5]] As shown in FIG. 1, a reel leg 1a for attaching to a fishing rod is integrally formed on a reel body 1 of the fishing spinning reel 100. In front of the reel leg 1a, a rotor 2 rotatably supported and having a fishing line guide portion 2a, and a spool 3 supported so as to be movable back and forth in synchronization with the rotational movement of the rotor 2 are provided.
[0025] The reel body 1 is equipped with a rotatable handle (not shown) on the protruding end of the handle shaft 5. By winding this handle, the rotor 2 is rotated via the drive force transmission mechanism 7, and the spool 3 mounted on the spool shaft 4 is driven to reciprocate back and forth. As a result, the fishing line is evenly wound onto the reciprocating spool 3 via the fishing line guide section 2a.
[0026] Furthermore, an operating lever 8 is rotatably supported in the middle of the reel leg 1a of the spinning reel 100 for fishing, and by pulling this operating lever 8, a braking force can be applied to the rotation of the rotor 2 via the rotor brake mechanism 9. Note that the above-described drive force transmission mechanism 7 and rotor brake mechanism 9 are conventionally known configurations, and therefore their details are omitted.
[0027] Inside the spool 3, a spool attachment / detachment member (spool attachment / detachment device) 10 is provided, which allows the spool 3 to be attached and detachably mounted at the tip of the spool shaft 4. Furthermore, in a spinning reel for fishing according to one embodiment of the present invention, a drag device (braking force adjustment device) 50 is provided inside the spool 3, and is configured to apply a predetermined braking force to the rotation of the spool 3. For this reason, a cylindrical shaft 11 is disposed in the axial center of the spool 3, which is inserted from the tip side of the spool shaft 4 and fixed to the spool shaft 4 to prevent rotation. The spool attachment / detachment device 10 attaches and detaches the spool 3 between the cylindrical shaft 11 and the spool shaft 4, and the drag device 50 is configured to apply a predetermined braking force to the spool 3 between the cylindrical shaft 11 and the spool 3.
[0028] Next, with reference to Figures 1, 2, and 3, the spool attachment / detachment device 10 and the drag device 50 of the spinning reel 100 for fishing according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described. Figure 2 is a diagram showing the state in which the spool shaft 4 and spool 3 are attached to the spinning reel 100 for fishing according to one embodiment of the present invention. Figures 3(a) and (b) are cross-sectional views showing the connection / detachment relationship between the spool shaft and the cylindrical shaft when the push button is pressed in the spinning reel 100 for fishing according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0029] The spool shaft 4 has a circumferential groove 4a formed on its tip end, and a rotation-preventing pin 4b is formed to protrude radially from the base end. The cylindrical shaft 11, which is disposed on the spool 3, is inserted into this spool shaft 4. In this case, the cylindrical shaft 11 is locked to the spool shaft 4 at the portion of the circumferential groove 4a, and the rotation-preventing pin 4b engages with a groove 12 formed at the base end of the cylindrical shaft 11, thereby fixing it in place on the spool shaft 4.
[0030] The spool attachment / detachment member (device spool attachment / detachment device) 10 includes a push button 13 disposed at the opening on the tip side of the cylindrical shaft 11. This push button 13 includes a pressing operation part (pressed part) 13a that protrudes from the open end of the cylindrical shaft 11 and is pressed, and a semicircular cylindrical part (engaging part) 13b that extends toward the rear so as to sandwich the spool shaft 4 in an axial view. It is held in a position to be pressed in the axial direction by a biasing spring 14 disposed between it and a stepped part 11a formed on the inside of the tip of the cylindrical shaft 11.
[0031] The engaging portion 13b has a taper 13c that gradually decreases in diameter towards the rear, and this taper 13c can engage with a locking spring 15 held on the cylindrical shaft 11 when the push button 13 is pressed. In this case, as shown in Figures 3(a) and (b), the locking spring 15 is formed by a pair of substantially D-shaped members, each having an arc portion 15a that slides in the circumferential direction while surrounding the outer circumference of the cylindrical shaft 11, and a locking holding portion 15b that extends in the diametrical direction and is located within the circumferential groove 4a.
[0032] Then, when the protruding portion 13d of the push button 13 is pushed in against the biasing force of the biasing spring 14, the engaging portion 13b of the push button 13, which is in the position shown in Figures 2 and 3(a) (adjacent to the first end 11a of the cylindrical shaft 11 in Figure 2), moves toward the reel body (towards the second end 11b of the cylindrical shaft 11 in Figure 2), and the taper 13c formed on the engaging portion 13b comes into contact with the locking and holding portion 15b, causing the locking and holding portion 15b to move downward, as shown in Figure 3(b). As the locking and holding portion 15b moves downward, the engagement between the locking spring 15 and the circumferential groove 4a of the spool shaft 4 is released, and the spool 3 can be detached from the spool shaft 4 together with the cylindrical shaft 11.
[0033] The drag device 50 comprises a rotatable drag knob (which constitutes a braking force adjustment member) 51 disposed within a front collar 3a that protrudes from the front end surface of the spool 3, a drag unit body 52 on which the drag knob 51 is provided, and a braking member 53 that is pressed and biased by the drag knob unit body 51 and exerts a predetermined drag force between the spool shaft 4 and the fixed cylindrical shaft 11.
[0034] Next, with further reference to Figures 1, 2, 4, and 5, the details of the spinning reel 100 for fishing according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described. Figure 4(a) is a top view showing the drag knob unit and the drag unit body mounted in the drag device of the spinning reel for fishing according to one embodiment of the present invention; Figure 4(b) is a perspective view showing the drag knob unit and the drag unit body mounted in the drag device of the spinning reel for fishing according to one embodiment of the present invention; and Figure 4(c) is a perspective view of the drag knob unit and the drag unit body in the drag device of the spinning reel for fishing according to one embodiment of the present invention. Furthermore, Figure 5(a) is an exploded view of the drag knob unit and the drag unit body in parallel arrangement in the drag device of a spinning reel for fishing according to one embodiment of the present invention; Figure 5(b) is an exploded view of the drag knob unit and the drag unit body before assembly in the drag device of a spinning reel for fishing according to one embodiment of the present invention; Figure 5(c) is a cross-sectional view of the drag knob unit and the drag unit body in the drag device of a spinning reel for fishing according to one embodiment of the present invention; and Figure 5(d) is a cross-sectional view of the drag knob unit and the drag unit body in the drag device of a spinning reel for fishing according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0035] A fishing reel 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a reel body 1, an operating unit (not shown) provided on the reel body 1, a spool shaft 4 supported by the reel body 1, a spool 3 provided on the spool shaft 4 around which fishing line is wound by the winding operation of the operating unit (not shown), and a drag device 50 that can adjust the braking force on the spool 3. The drag device 50 has a drag knob 51, and by operating the drag knob 51, both the braking force on the spool 3 and the spool 3 can be removed from the spool shaft 4. A fishing reel 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention is a spinning reel.
[0036] According to a fishing reel 100 of one embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to provide a fishing reel 100 equipped with a drag device 50 having a spool attachment / detachment device 10 that has both the function of adjusting braking force and attaching / detaching the spool, without having to install a separate push button or the like on the drag device 50.
[0037] In a fishing reel 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention, the braking force on the spool 3 is adjusted by rotating the drag knob 51 of the drag device 50, and the spool 3 is made detachable from the spool shaft 4 by moving the drag knob 51 in the axial direction of the spool shaft 4. In this way, both braking force adjustment and attachment / detachment of the spool are possible by rotating and moving the same drag knob 51 in the axial direction.
[0038] In a fishing reel 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention, the drag knob 51 is formed on the outer surface of the drag device 50, which is exposed to the outside, and the drag knob 51 is formed to extend in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the spool shaft 4. In a fishing reel 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention, the drag device 50 comprises a drag unit body 52, the drag unit body 52 has a groove 52a in its central portion, and the central portion (center part) 51a of the drag knob 51, described later, can be inserted into the groove 52a. In a fishing reel 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention, the drag unit body 52 of the drag device 50 has a circumferential groove 52b on which a circumferential base 54 to which the drag knob 51 is fixed is disposed, along with the side surface of the front collar 3a which is formed to protrude from the front end surface of the spool 3. In this way, the drag unit body 52 accurately and reliably positions the drag knob 51, and at the same time, it can rotate and move the drag knob 51 in the axial direction, enabling both adjustment of braking force and attachment / detachment of the spool.
[0039] In a fishing reel 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention, the drag device 50 includes the aforementioned drag unit body 52, and a drag knob 51 is attached to the drag unit body 52 so as to be movable back and forth by a predetermined distance in the axial direction of the spool shaft 4 relative to the drag unit body 52. In this way, the spool can be attached to and detached by moving the drag knob 51 axially relative to the drag unit body 52.
[0040] Furthermore, in a fishing reel 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention, a drag knob unit 55 is formed by a drag knob 51 that extends radially from the spool 3 and a substantially cylindrical base 54 to which the drag knob 51 is fixed. One or more elastic members 56 are provided between the outer surface of the drag unit body 52 and the inner surface of the base 54 of the drag unit 55, and the drag knob 51 is subjected to outward pressing force from the drag unit body 52 by the one or more elastic members 56 (two elastic members 56 in the illustrated example). In this way, the elastic members can be arranged so that their positions do not shift structurally, making it possible to configure the drag knob 51 to stably receive pressing force from the drag unit 52.
[0041] Furthermore, in a fishing reel 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention, a cylindrical elastic member (not shown) is provided between the outer surface of the drag unit body 52 and the inner surface of the base 54 of the drag knob unit 55, along the circumferential direction of the base 54. In this way, the elastic member can be positioned so that its position does not shift, and the drag knob 51 can be configured to receive pressing force from the drag unit 52 more stably.
[0042] Furthermore, in a fishing reel 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention, a pair of elastic members 56 are provided between the outer surface of the drag unit body 52 and the inner surface of the base 54 of the drag knob unit 55, at opposing positions in the circumferential direction of the base 54. In this way, the elastic members can be arranged so that their positions do not shift structurally, making it possible to configure the drag knob 51 to receive a stable pressing force from the drag unit body 52.
[0043] In a fishing reel 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention, a pressing operation portion (pressed portion) 13a is formed in the central part of the inner surface of the drag knob unit 55, and a spool attachment / detachment member 10 is provided which has a pressing operation portion (pressed portion) 13a that contacts the pressing portion 55a when the drag knob 51 is not operated, and a cylindrical portion (engaging portion) 13b. In this way, the spool attachment / detachment member 10 can be pressed and moved along the axial direction of the spool shaft 4 by pressing the drag knob unit 55.
[0044] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 5, in the fishing reel 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention, a boss (projection) 57 (in the illustrated example, a pair of bosses (projections) 57 on the inner surface of the drag knob 51) is provided on the inner surface of the drag knob, extending in the axial direction of the spool shaft 4, and a through hole 58 (in the illustrated example, a pair of through holes 58 in the drag unit body 52) is formed in the drag unit body 52 into which the boss is inserted, and by inserting the boss 57 into the through hole 58, the drag knob 51 is guided in the axial direction of the spool shaft 4 relative to the drag unit body 52. In this way, the axial movement of the spool shaft 4 of the drag knob 51 relative to the drag unit body 52 can be performed more accurately and reliably. Hereinafter, in the fishing reel 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention, one or more bosses 57 may be provided on the inner surface of the drag knob 51 (for example, one on each end of the drag knob 51 as shown).
