Abstract

The present invention provides a sheet conveying device that can remove the top layer one by one from multiple sheets placed in a stacked state. [Solution] The sheet conveying device of the present invention comprises a sheet holding section on which a plurality of sheets 20 are placed in a stacked state, an adsorption section 3 that adsorbs and lifts the uppermost sheet 20 placed on the sheet holding section, a contact section 4 provided above the end of the sheet 20 in the first direction D1 on the sheet 20 placed on the sheet holding section and in contact with the end of the sheet 20 in the first direction D1 that has been lifted by the adsorption section 3, and a blow section 5 that blows gas onto the end of the sheet 20 that has been lifted by the adsorption section 3. The blow section 5 is provided above the contact section 4 and inside the first direction D1, and includes an upper blow nozzle 51 that blows gas onto the sheet 20 in contact with the contact section 4 in a second direction that is parallel to the sheet 20 and intersects the first direction D1.
