Ticket roll paper, ticket paper, and ticket information reader

Abstract

We propose a roll paper for tickets that can reduce the effort and cost involved in providing paper tickets. [Solution] A code pattern 12 consisting of multiple code lines arranged parallel to the longitudinal direction over substantially the entire length of a roll of paper substrate 2 is formed on the back surface 2b of the roll of paper substrate 2. By separating the paper substrate at a predetermined width W in the longitudinal direction, a ticket 21 having a barcode 15 consisting of the code pattern 12 on the back surface 2b is provided. With this configuration, the back surface information indicated by the barcode 15 can be obtained by optically reading the barcode 15 of the separated ticket 21.
