Abstract

This invention provides a detection method that can appropriately eliminate the influence of factors that hinder the integration of interference waves, thereby achieving highly sensitive detection of interference waves. [Solution] A detection method for detecting interference waves of a dual-comb laser, comprising: acquiring data of the interference wave train generated by the dual-comb laser by sampling; estimating the period of each interference wave included in the acquired interference wave train; correcting the data of each interference wave in the time domain or frequency domain so that the scales of the spectra of each interference wave obtained by Fourier transform match each other based on the estimated period of each interference wave; and integrating and averaging the spectra of each corrected interference wave.
