Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0004] By the way, in the case of a plate member used for a shelf board or a ceiling board, it is desirable to more reliably regulate the warping of the plate material constituting the plate member. Therefore, for example, it is conceivable to increase the plate thickness of the metal plate for regulating the warping of the plate material, but there remains a problem that increasing the plate thickness causes an increase in the weight of the plate member.

[0005] The present invention has been made in view of such points, and an object thereof is to provide a plate member and a shelf capable of more reliably regulating the warping of a plate material while suppressing an increase in weight.

Means for Solving the Problems

[0006] To achieve the above objective, the present invention provides a plate member that can be used for a shelf or top plate supported by a first support member and a second support member arranged at intervals from each other in the horizontal direction, comprising: a plate material having a rectangular shape when viewed in the thickness direction; a first fitting fixed to one end of the plate material in the longitudinal direction; and a second fitting fixed to the other end of the plate material in the longitudinal direction, wherein the plate material has a first groove recessed on one end face in the longitudinal direction of the plate material so as to extend in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and a second groove recessed on the other end face in the longitudinal direction of the plate material so as to extend in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and the first fitting is located in the longitudinal direction of the plate material The first fitting has a first main body portion extending in the orthogonal direction along one end face, a first engaging portion provided on the first main body portion and capable of engaging with the first receiving member, and a first regulating plate portion that protrudes from the outer surface of the first main body portion and extends in the orthogonal direction and is fitted into the first groove. The second fitting has a second main body portion extending in the orthogonal direction along the other end face in the longitudinal direction of the plate material, a second engaging portion provided on the second main body portion and capable of engaging with the second receiving member, and a second regulating plate portion that protrudes from the outer surface of the second main body portion and extends in the orthogonal direction and is fitted into the second groove.

[0007] With the present invention configured in this way, the warping of the plate material can be restricted by the first restricting plate portion fitted into the first groove and the second restricting plate portion fitted into the second groove. Furthermore, since the first restricting plate portion is provided so as to protrude from the outer surface of the first main body portion and extend perpendicularly, and the second restricting plate portion is provided so as to protrude from the outer surface of the second main body portion and extend perpendicularly, the first restricting plate portion is reinforced using the first main body portion on which the first engaging portion is provided, and the second restricting plate portion is reinforced using the second main body portion on which the second engaging portion is provided. Therefore, it is possible to provide a plate member that can more reliably suppress the warping of the plate material while keeping the increase in weight to a minimum.

[0008] In the present invention, preferably, the first main body and the second main body are rectangular prisms, the first regulating plate is welded and fixed to one side surface of the first main body, and the second regulating plate is welded and fixed to one side surface of the second main body.

[0009] With the present invention configured in this way, the first regulating plate portion is welded and fixed to one side surface of the first main body portion, and the second regulating plate portion is welded and fixed to one side surface of the second main body portion. As a result, the first regulating plate portion can be firmly fixed to the first main body portion, and the second regulating plate portion can be firmly fixed to the second main body portion. This further reinforces the first regulating plate portion and the second regulating plate portion.

[0010] In the present invention, preferably, the orthogonal dimension of the first main body is set to be longer than the orthogonal dimension of the first regulating plate, and the orthogonal dimension of the second main body is set to be longer than the orthogonal dimension of the second regulating plate.

[0011] With the present invention configured in this way, the orthogonal dimension of the first main body is set to be longer than the orthogonal dimension of the first restricting plate, and the orthogonal dimension of the second main body is set to be longer than the orthogonal dimension of the second restricting plate. As a result, it becomes difficult for parts of the first restricting plate that are not fixed to the first main body and parts of the second restricting plate that are not fixed to the second main body to occur. This makes it possible to suppress the occurrence of parts that are easily deformed locally in the first restricting plate and the second restricting plate. Therefore, it becomes possible to suppress the occurrence of localized warping in the plate material.

[0012] In the present invention, preferably, the first main body and the second main body are cylindrical in shape.

[0013] With the present invention configured in this way, since the first main body and the second main body are cylindrical, the weight of the first main body and the second main body can be reduced.

[0014] In the present invention, preferably, the shelf is provided with the aforementioned plate member.

[0015] According to the present invention configured as described above, it is possible to provide a shelf provided with the plate member.

Effects of the Invention

[0016] It is possible to provide a plate member and a shelf that can more reliably regulate warping of a plate material while suppressing an increase in weight.

Modes for Carrying Out the Invention

[0018] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail based on the drawings. Note that the following description of the preferred embodiments is merely illustrative in nature.

[0019] FIG. 1 shows a shelf 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The shelf 1 includes a base frame portion 2, a right shelf column portion 3, a left shelf column portion 4, an upper connecting portion 5, a lower connecting portion 6, a shelf board 7, and a top board 8.

[0020] The base frame portion 2 has a rectangular frame shape in plan view. In the present embodiment, the shelf 1 is installed on the floor in a state where the lower surface of the base frame portion 2 is in contact with the upper surface of the floor.

[0021] The right shelf column portion 3 includes a first shelf column portion 3a and a second shelf column portion 3b extending in the vertical direction. The second shelf column portion 3b is provided behind the first shelf column portion 3a. In addition, the lower ends of each of the first shelf column portion 3a and the second shelf column portion 3b are connected to the base frame portion 2. Further, the upper ends of the first shelf column portion 3a and the second shelf column portion 3b are connected to each other by a right upper connecting portion 3c extending in the front-rear direction.

[0022] The left shelf column portion 4 includes a third shelf column portion 4a and a fourth shelf column portion 4b extending in the vertical direction. The fourth shelf column portion 4b is provided behind the third shelf column portion 4a. In addition, the lower ends of each of the third shelf column portion 4a and the fourth shelf column portion 4b are connected to the base frame portion 2. Further, the upper ends of the third shelf column portion 4a and the fourth shelf column portion 4b are connected to each other by a left upper connecting portion 4c extending in the front-rear direction.

[0023] The upper connecting portion 5 extends in the left-right direction, and one end thereof is connected to the upper end of the second shelf column portion 3b of the right shelf column portion 3, and the other end thereof is connected to the upper end of the fourth shelf column portion 4b of the left shelf column portion 4.

[0024] The lower connecting portion 6 extends in the left-right direction below the upper connecting portion 5, and one end thereof is connected to the middle portion in the vertical direction of the second shelf column portion 3b of the right shelf column portion 3, and the other end thereof is connected to the middle portion in the vertical direction of the fourth shelf column portion 4b of the left shelf column portion 4.

[0025] Next, the shelf board 7 will be described. Since the top board 8 has the same configuration as the shelf board 7, the description thereof will be omitted.

[0026] As shown in Figure 1, the shelf board 7 comprises a rectangular board 11 in thickness direction (plan view), a first fitting 12 fixed to one end of the board 11 in the longitudinal direction, and a second fitting 13 fixed to the other end of the board 11 in the longitudinal direction.

[0027] As shown in Figure 2(a), the board material 11 has a first groove 11a and a second groove 11b. The board material 11 is a laminated timber obtained by, for example, gluing together a plurality of rectangular board-shaped pieces of wood in the width direction, and each piece of wood is glued together such that the perpendicular direction (direction of wood fibers) of each piece of wood coincides with the longitudinal direction of the board material 11, and the tangential direction (direction in contact with the annual rings of the wood) or radial direction (direction perpendicular to the annual rings of the wood) of each piece of wood coincides with the orthogonal direction of the board material 11. In this embodiment, the board material 11 is manufactured from hardwood (for example, maple, cherry, zelkova, chestnut, oak, evergreen oak, paulownia, ash, camphor, etc.).

[0028] The first groove 11a is recessed on one end face in the longitudinal direction of the plate material 11 so as to extend in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction (see Figure 2(b)).

[0029] The second groove 11b is recessed on the other end face of the plate material 11 in the longitudinal direction, extending in a direction perpendicular to the other end face.

[0030] In this embodiment, grooves are not provided on one or the other end face of the plate material 11 in the orthogonal direction (see Figure 2(c)).

[0031] As shown in Figures 3, 4, and 5, the first fitting 12 has a first main body portion 12a, a first notched recess 12b, a second notched recess 12c, and a first regulating plate portion 12d. In this embodiment, the first fitting 12 is made of a metal material (for example, iron, stainless steel, brass, aluminum, etc.).

[0032] As shown in Figure 4(a), the first main body portion 12a extends perpendicularly along one end face in the longitudinal direction of the plate material 11. The first main body portion 12a is shaped like a rectangular prism, and its longitudinal dimension (the dimension perpendicular to the plate material 11) is set to be longer than the longitudinal dimension of the first regulating plate portion 12d (the dimension perpendicular to the plate material 11) (see Figures 4(a) and (b)). The first main body portion 12a has the same perpendicular dimension as one end face in the longitudinal direction of the plate material 11, and also the same thickness dimension as that end face.

[0033] The first notched recess 12b is provided in the first main body portion 12a and is cut out from the lower surface of the first main body portion 12a upward (see Figures 3(a) and (b)). Furthermore, as shown in Figure 5, the first notched recess 12b is configured to be engageable with the first dowel 15. In this embodiment, a plurality of first fitting holes 3d are provided on the left side surface of the first shelf column portion 3a, spaced apart from each other in the vertical direction, and the first dowel 15 is attached to each of the first fitting holes 3d.

[0034] The second notched recess 12c is provided in the first main body portion 12a and is cut out from the rear surface of the first main body portion 12a toward the front (see Figures 3(a), (b), (d), and (e)). Furthermore, as shown in Figure 5, the second notched recess 12c is configured to be engageable with the second dowel 16. In this embodiment, a plurality of second fitting holes 3e are provided on the left side surface of the second shelf column portion 3b, spaced apart from each other in the vertical direction, and the second dowel 16 is attached to each second fitting hole 3e.

[0035] The first regulating plate portion 12d is provided so as to protrude from the outer surface (left side) of the first main body portion 12a toward the other side in the longitudinal direction and extend perpendicularly (see Figures 3(a), (c), (d), and (e) and Figure 4(b)). In this embodiment, the first regulating plate portion 12d is rectangular and flat in thickness direction view (plan view) and is welded to one side surface (left side) of the first main body portion 12a. More specifically, the right end surface of the first regulating plate portion 12d is welded to the left side surface of the first main body portion 12a. Furthermore, the first regulating plate portion 12d is fitted into the first groove portion 11a (see Figure 5).

[0036] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the second fitting 13 has a second main body portion 13a, a third notched recess 13b, a fourth notched recess 13c, and a second restricting plate portion 13d. In this embodiment, the second fitting 13 is made of a metal material (for example, iron, stainless steel, brass, aluminum, etc.).

[0037] As shown in Figure 4(a), the second main body portion 13a extends perpendicularly to the other end face in the longitudinal direction of the plate material 11. The second main body portion 13a is shaped like a rectangular prism, and its longitudinal dimension (the dimension perpendicular to the plate material 11) is set to be longer than the longitudinal dimension of the second regulating plate portion 13d (the dimension perpendicular to the plate material 11). The second main body portion 13a has the same perpendicular dimension as the other end face in the longitudinal direction of the plate material 11, and also the same thickness dimension as the other end face.

[0038] The third notched recess 13b is provided in the second main body portion 13a and is cut out from the lower surface of the second main body portion 13a upwards. The third notched recess 13b is also configured to be engageable with the third dowel 17 (see Figure 5). In this embodiment, a plurality of third fitting holes 4d are provided on the right side surface of the third shelf column portion 4a, spaced apart from each other in the vertical direction, and the third dowel 17 is attached to each of the third fitting holes 4d.

[0039] The fourth notched recess 13c is provided in the second main body portion 13a and is cut out from the rear surface of the second main body portion 13a toward the front. The fourth notched recess 13c is also configured to be engageable with the fourth dowel 18. In this embodiment, a plurality of fourth fitting holes 4e are provided on the right side surface of the fourth shelf column portion 4b, spaced apart from each other in the vertical direction, and the fourth dowel 18 is attached to each of the fourth fitting holes 4e. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the first dowel 15 and the second dowel 16, and the third dowel 17 and the fourth dowel 18 are spaced apart from each other in the horizontal direction (see Figure 5). The first notched recess 12b engages with the first dowel 15, the second notched recess 12c engages with the second dowel 16, the third notched recess 13b engages with the third dowel 17, and the fourth notched recess 13c engages with the fourth dowel 18, so that the shelf board 7 is supported from below by the first dowel 15, the second dowel 16, the third dowel 17, and the fourth dowel 18.

[0040] The second restricting plate portion 13d is provided so as to protrude from the outer surface (right side) of the second main body portion 13a toward one side in the longitudinal direction and extend perpendicularly. In this embodiment, the second restricting plate portion 13d is rectangular and flat in thickness direction view (plan view) and is welded to one side surface (right side) of the second main body portion 13a. More specifically, the left end face of the second restricting plate portion 13d is welded to the right side surface of the second main body portion 13a. Furthermore, the second restricting plate portion 13d is fitted into the second groove portion 11b (see Figure 5).

[0041] Generally, the ratio of shrinkage rates of wood is 1:10:5 for the vertical direction (direction of wood fibers) : tangential direction (direction in contact with the wood rings) : radial direction (direction perpendicular to the wood rings). In other words, wood shrinks approximately 10 times more in the tangential direction than in the vertical direction, and approximately 5 times more in the radial direction than in the vertical direction. In this embodiment, the board material 11 is configured such that its longitudinal direction coincides with the vertical direction of the wood, and its orthogonal direction coincides with either the tangential or radial direction of the wood. Therefore, it is more prone to warping (curving) in the orthogonal direction than in the longitudinal direction. In contrast, a first restricting plate portion 12d extending perpendicularly is fitted into a first groove portion 11a recessed in one longitudinal end face of the plate material 11 so as to extend perpendicularly, and a second restricting plate portion 13d extending perpendicularly is fitted into a second groove portion 11b recessed in the other longitudinal end face of the plate material 11 so as to extend perpendicularly. Thus, the first restricting plate portion 12d and the second restricting plate portion 13d can restrict the plate material 11 from bending (curving) perpendicularly so as to protrude on one side or the other side in the thickness direction.

[0042] Next, using Figure 6, we will explain how to attach the shelf board 7 to the first dowel 15, second dowel 16, third dowel 17, and fourth dowel 18. Note that the method for attaching the top plate 8 to the first dowel 15, second dowel 16, third dowel 17, and fourth dowel 18 is the same as the method for attaching the shelf board 7, so we will omit the explanation.

[0043] (First installation process) In the first installation step, the second notched recess 12c of the shelf board 7, which is in an inclined position that becomes lower as it moves towards the rear (one side in the orthogonal direction), is engaged with the second dowel 16, and the fourth notched recess 13c is engaged with the fourth dowel 18 (see Figure 6(a)).

[0044] (Second installation process) In the second mounting step following the first mounting step, the shelf board 7 is rotated so that it is horizontal, using the second dowel 16 engaged with the second notched recess 12c and the fourth dowel 18 engaged with the fourth notched recess 13c as the pivot points, thereby engaging the first notched recess 12b with the first dowel 15 and engaging the third notched recess 13b with the third dowel 17 (see Figure 6(b)). This completes the mounting of the shelf board 7 to the first dowel 15, second dowel 16, third dowel 17, and fourth dowel 18.

[0045] As described above, according to this embodiment, the warping of the plate material 11 can be restricted by the first restricting plate portion 12d fitted into the first groove portion 11a and the second restricting plate portion 13d fitted into the second groove portion 11b. Furthermore, since the first restricting plate portion 12d is provided so as to protrude from the outer surface of the first main body portion 12a and extend in a perpendicular direction, and the second restricting plate portion 13d is provided so as to protrude from the outer surface of the second main body portion 13a and extend in a perpendicular direction, the first restricting plate portion 12d is reinforced using the first main body portion 12a provided with the first engaging portion (first notched recess 12b, second notched recess 12c), and the second restricting plate portion 13d is reinforced using the second main body portion 13a provided with the second engaging portion (third notched recess 13b, fourth notched recess 13c). Therefore, it is possible to provide board members (shelf boards 7, top boards 8) that can more reliably suppress warping of the board material 11 while keeping the weight increase to a minimum.

[0046] Furthermore, since the first restricting plate portion 12d is welded to one side surface of the first main body portion 12a, and the second restricting plate portion 13d is welded to one side surface of the second main body portion 13a, the first restricting plate portion and 12d can be firmly fixed to the first main body portion 12a, and the second restricting plate portion 13d can be firmly fixed to the second main body portion 13a. This further reinforces the first restricting plate portion 12d and the second restricting plate portion 13d.

[0047] Furthermore, since the orthogonal dimension of the first main body portion 12a is set to be longer than the orthogonal dimension of the first restricting plate portion 12d, and the orthogonal dimension of the second main body portion 13a is set to be longer than the orthogonal dimension of the second restricting plate portion 13d, it becomes less likely that there will be parts in the first restricting plate portion 12d that are not fixed to the first main body portion 12a, and parts in the second restricting plate portion 13d that are not fixed to the second main body portion 13a. As a result, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of parts in the first restricting plate portion 12d and the second restricting plate portion 13d that are prone to local deformation. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of local warping in the plate material 11.

[0048] Furthermore, a shelf equipped with shelves 7 and a top plate 8 can be provided.

[0049] In this embodiment, the first main body 12a and the second main body 13a are described using an example where they are rectangular prisms, but they may be rectangular tubes as shown in Figure 7(a), cylindrical as shown in Figure 7(b), or other cylindrical shapes (for example, star-shaped). By doing so, the first main body 12a and the second main body 13a are cylindrical, so the weight of the first main body 12a and the second main body 13a can be reduced. Furthermore, the first main body 12a and the second main body 13a may be triangular prisms as shown in Figure 7(c), hexagonal prisms as shown in Figure 7(d), or cylindrical as shown in Figure 7(e), or rectangular prisms with a rectangular cross-section as shown in Figure 7(f). Furthermore, the shape of the first main body 12a and the shape of the second main body 13a may be different.

[0050] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the first regulating plate portion 12d is welded and fixed to one side surface of the first main body portion 12a, and the second regulating plate portion 13d is welded and fixed to one side surface of the second main body portion 13a. However, the components may be fixed using means other than welding (for example, screwing, fitting, bonding, etc.). Alternatively, the first regulating plate portion 12d may be fixed to an outer surface other than one side surface of the first main body portion 12a, and the second regulating plate portion 13d may be fixed to an outer surface other than one side surface of the second main body portion 13a. Alternatively, the first regulating plate portion 12d and the first main body portion 12a may be integrally formed by casting, etc., and the second regulating plate portion 13d and the second main body portion 13a may be integrally formed by casting, etc.

[0051] Furthermore, in this embodiment, an example was described in which the orthogonal dimension of the first main body portion 12a is set to be longer than the orthogonal dimension of the first restricting plate portion 12d, and the orthogonal dimension of the second main body portion 13a is set to be longer than the orthogonal dimension of the second restricting plate portion 13d. However, it is also possible to set the orthogonal dimension of the first main body portion 12a and the orthogonal dimension of the first restricting plate portion 12d to be the same, or the orthogonal dimension of the second main body portion 13a and the orthogonal dimension of the second restricting plate portion 13d to be the same, or the orthogonal dimension of the second main body portion 13a is set to be shorter than the orthogonal dimension of the second restricting plate portion 13d.

[0052] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the second notched recess 12c is cut out from the rear surface of the first main body portion 12a toward the front, and the fourth notched recess 13c is cut out from the rear surface of the second main body portion 13a toward the front. However, the second notched recess 12c may be cut out from the lower surface of the first main body portion 12a toward the upper, and the fourth notched recess 13c may be cut out from the lower surface of the second main body portion 13a toward the upper.

[0053] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the first notched recess 12b, the second notched recess 12c, the third notched recess 13b, and the fourth notched recess 13c were described using an example in which they engage with the first dowel 15, the second dowel 16, the third dowel 17, and the fourth dowel 18. However, other means (for example, L-shaped shelf brackets) may be used as the first and second receiving members, as long as they can support the shelf board 7 or the top board 8 and can engage with the first engaging portion of the first fitting and the second engaging portion of the second fitting.

[0054] Furthermore, although this embodiment has been described using an example in which the first main body portion 12a and the second main body portion 13a are each provided with two engaging portions (first notched recess 12b, second notched recess 12c, third notched recess 13b, and fourth notched recess 13c), the first main body portion 12a and the second main body portion 13a may each be provided with one or more engaging portions, as long as they can support the shelf board 7 and the top plate 8.

[0055] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the first regulating plate portion 12d and the second regulating plate portion 13d were described using an example in which they are rectangular and flat in a view in the thickness direction (plan view), but they may have shapes other than flat (for example, corrugated). In this case, the first groove portion 11a and the second groove portion 11b may have groove shapes corresponding to the shapes of the first regulating plate portion 12d and the second regulating plate portion 13d.

[0056] Furthermore, although this embodiment describes an example in which the shelf board 7 and the top plate 8 are supported by the right shelf support section 3 and the left shelf support section 4, the shelf board 7 and the top plate 8 may be supported instead by dowels attached to the side panel (not shown), or by dowels attached to shelf supports (not shown) fixed to the wall (not shown).

[0057] Furthermore, although this embodiment describes examples of shelf boards 7 and top plate 8 used in shelf 1, the top plate 8 may also be used as a table (not shown) or the like.

[0058] Furthermore, although this embodiment describes an example in which the board material 11 is manufactured from hardwood, the board material 11 may also be manufactured from softwood (for example, cypress, cedar, pine, hemlock, etc.).

[0059] Furthermore, although this embodiment describes an example where the board material 11 is laminated wood, it may also be solid wood. [Industrial applicability]
