Abstract

To provide a lubricating oil composition for gas engines that enables excellent seizure resistance (load-bearing capacity). [Solution] A lubricating oil composition for gas engines, characterized in that it contains (A) a lubricating oil base oil containing a hydrocarbon base oil; (B) a hyperbasic calcium salicylate; (C) a molybdenum dithiocarbamate; (D) a zinc dialkyldithiophosphate anti-wear agent containing zinc dialkyldithiophosphate in which all alkyl groups in the molecule are secondary alkyl groups; and (E) water, wherein the content of component (B) in terms of calcium element is 700 ppm by mass or more relative to the total mass of the composition minus the mass of component (E), the content of component (C) in terms of molybdenum element is 200 ppm by mass or more relative to the total mass of the composition minus the mass of component (E), and the content of component (E) is 0.2% by mass or more and 30% by mass or less relative to the total mass of the composition.
