Abstract

This invention provides an antibody molecule that specifically binds to CD47 (also known as differentiation cluster 47 or integrin-associated protein [IAP]) and its antigen-binding portion. [Solution] In an embodiment of the present invention, the anti-CD47 antibody molecule and its antigen-binding moiety specifically bind to human CD47 and cynomolgus monkey CD47. The medical use of the anti-CD47 antibody molecule and antigen-binding moiety of the present invention is disclosed. The anti-CD47 antibody molecule and antigen-binding moiety of the present invention are modified and optimized binding molecules compared to the VxP037 mouse / humanized anti-CD47 antibody described in International Publication No. 2014 / 093678A2.
