Abstract

This provides a simple method for quickly manufacturing a variety of lenses with high surface quality, without size limitations or the need for specialized equipment. [Solution] A manufacturing system is provided, comprising a chamber for containing an immersion liquid, a reservoir containing a curable liquid that is immiscible with the immersion liquid and having fluid communication with a port configured to transfer the curable liquid into the chamber, an actuator configured to be operably communicated with the reservoir, and a support configured to bond with the curable liquid and having operably communicated with the port. Furthermore, a method for manufacturing a cured article having a predetermined shape is provided.
