Abstract

To provide a carbon dioxide treatment device and a carbon dioxide treatment method that reduce energy consumption. [Solution] The carbon dioxide treatment apparatus comprises an introduction unit for introducing a gas to be treated, which contains water vapor and carbon dioxide gas and has a water content of 50% or more of the carbon dioxide concentration; an adsorbent into which the gas to be treated is introduced and which co-adsorbs water molecules and carbon dioxide molecules contained in the gas to be treated, and into which the co-adsorbed water molecules and carbon dioxide molecules are co-desorbed; and a pump for co-desorbing the water molecules and carbon dioxide molecules from the adsorbent.

Claims

1. An introduction section for introducing a gas to be treated, which contains water vapor and carbon dioxide gas, and in which the water content is 50% or more of the carbon dioxide concentration. An adsorbent is introduced into which the gas to be treated is introduced, and which co-adsorbs water molecules and carbon dioxide molecules contained in the gas to be treated, and which co-desorbs the co-adsorbed water molecules and carbon dioxide molecules. A pump for co-desorbing water molecules and carbon dioxide molecules from the adsorbent, A carbon dioxide treatment device equipped with [a specific feature / technology].

2. The system further comprises a separator for separating the carbon dioxide molecules discharged from the pump by the aforementioned co-desorption. The carbon dioxide processing apparatus according to claim 1.

3. The moisture concentration in the gas to be treated is equal to or greater than the carbon dioxide concentration. The carbon dioxide processing apparatus according to claim 1.

4. The adsorbent contains PCP (porous coordination polymer) / MOF (organometallic structure). The carbon dioxide processing apparatus according to claim 1.

5. The aforementioned PCP (porous coordination polymer) / MOF (organometallic structure) is either a SIFSIX system or a TIFSIX system. The carbon dioxide processing apparatus according to claim 4.

6. The system includes a source gas containing at least carbon dioxide gas, and a moisture concentration adjustment unit that adjusts the moisture concentration of the source gas to generate the gas to be treated. The carbon dioxide processing apparatus according to claim 1.

7. The ratio of the water content to the carbon dioxide content in the gas to be treated is 100 or less. The carbon dioxide processing apparatus according to claim 1.

8. The ratio of the water content to the carbon dioxide content in the gas to be treated is 10 or less. The carbon dioxide processing apparatus according to claim 1.

9. The ratio of the water content to the carbon dioxide content in the gas to be treated is 4 or less. The carbon dioxide processing apparatus according to claim 1.

10. The ratio of the water content to the carbon dioxide content in the gas to be treated is 2 or less. The carbon dioxide processing apparatus according to claim 1.

11. The system includes a control device that adjusts the moisture concentration in the gas to be treated based on the moisture concentration or carbon dioxide concentration in the gas that has passed through the adsorbent during the co-adsorption of water molecules and carbon dioxide molecules by the adsorbent. The carbon dioxide processing apparatus according to claim 6.

12. A gas to be treated, containing water vapor and carbon dioxide gas, with a water content of 50% or more of the carbon dioxide concentration, is introduced into an adsorbent that co-adsorbs water molecules and carbon dioxide molecules contained in the gas to be treated, and also co-desorbs the co-adsorbed water molecules and carbon dioxide molecules. The water molecules and carbon dioxide molecules are co-desorbed from the adsorbent. A method for treating carbon dioxide that includes the following features.
