AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing deodorizing sheets lack sufficient porous structure formation, leading to inadequate deodorizing performance.

Method used

A porous sheet is developed by blending a specific amount of inorganic particles and silicone oil with a thermoplastic resin, forming a porous structure with interconnected pores, and optimizing the content ratio of silicone oil and inorganic particles to enhance deodorizing performance.

Benefits of technology

The sheet exhibits improved porous structure formation and high deodorizing performance, effectively adsorbing odor-causing substances through interconnected pores.

Abstract

To provide a sheet with improved porous structure formation capabilities compared to conventional sheets. [Solution] A porous sheet containing a thermoplastic resin, inorganic particles, and silicone oil, having numerous pores. The porous sheet contains 30% by mass or more of inorganic particles, and the silicone oil and inorganic particles contained in the porous sheet satisfy a predetermined relationship. Preferably, the porous sheet has a plurality of stem fibers extending in one direction and fibril fibers extending between the stem fibers and having a smaller diameter than the stem fibers. Preferably, the plurality of stem fibers include one stem fiber and other stem fibers branched from that stem fiber, and also have voids between the stem fibers.
