Abstract
The present invention provides a roof that is resistant to deformation of the roofing material even under negative pressure, and that prevents the interlocking of adjacent roofing materials from coming undone. [Solution] The roofing material is provided with a rectangular main body and an upper seam on one end in the width direction and a lower seam on the other end, and is arranged adjacent to each other along one direction of the roofing substrate. It is characterized by having a first locking part that engages with a first engaging part provided on a fixing bracket when the lower seam is fitted into a locking projection of a fixing bracket provided between the main body and the lower seam in the width direction and which is positioned and fixed to the roofing substrate using fastening screws; a second locking part that engages with a second engaging part provided on a fixing bracket having a locking projection into which the lower seam of another roofing material is fitted when the upper seam is fitted into the lower seam of another roofing material arranged adjacent to it on the upper seam side; and a contact piece that abuts against the bottom surface of a groove provided on the fixing bracket when the lower seam is fitted into the locking projection of the fixing bracket, and is fixed to the roofing substrate together with the fixing bracket using fixing screws.
