Abstract
To provide a rational and efficient automated pallet-type warehouse that overcomes the challenges of conventional shuttle-type pallet-type automated warehouses, reducing the frequency of pallet transfers, simplifying pallet transport equipment, preventing damage to goods, and improving pallet processing capacity. [Solution] This pallet-type automated storage warehouse employs trackless automated guided vehicles (AGVs) or trackless autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) that are equipped with the function to load and transfer large pallets weighing 1 ton or more for pallet transport on the main line of the pallet-type automated storage warehouse, and AGVs or AMRs that can move in all directions, and has a configuration of partitioned shelves for storing pallets suitable for these vehicles. In particular, the degree of freedom of access of the various AGVs or AMRs to each partitioned shelf of the pallet-type automated storage warehouse has been increased.
