Abstract
To provide a novel soft magnetic material that is lower in density and has superior shapeability compared to existing soft magnetic materials. [Solution] Using hematite as the essential raw material and silica, alumina, and calcium oxide as secondary raw materials, the raw material mixture is adjusted in atomic fraction (%) to be i) 15% to 40%, ii) 0.1% to 21% aluminum, iii) 0.1% to 15% calcium, iv) the total of iron, silicon, aluminum, and calcium is 90% or more, and v) the difference between the total content of aluminum and calcium and the iron content is minus 6% or more. This raw material mixture is heated to approximately 1500°C to melt, held for approximately 1 hour, and then rapidly cooled to obtain a material with a density of 3.0 g / cm³. 3 The following, and with a mass magnetic susceptibility of 1.9 cm², 3 We were able to obtain a novel amorphous magnetic inorganic composition with a value of 1 / g or higher.
