[0006]
[0001] Cross - reference to Related Applications This non - provisional application claims priority under 35 U.S.C.§119(a) to Patent Application No. 202310260774.7, filed in China on March 17, 2023, the entire content of which is incorporated herein by reference.
[0002] The present disclosure relates to a tumbler, and more particularly, to a tumbler capable of adjusting the concentration of a beverage.
Background Art
[0003] In recent years, people have been pursuing environmental protection and reducing the use of disposable plastic containers. Therefore, carrying a tumbler to hold or extract beverages has become a trend in modern society.
[0004] When extracting a beverage, an extraction substance is placed in the tumbler, and hot water is poured into the tumbler to obtain an extracted beverage. However, conventional tumblers have structural limitations that prevent the concentration of the extracted beverage from being adjusted by quickly removing the extraction substance. As a result, the extraction substance is soaked in water for a long time, which may result in an undesirable concentration of the beverage that does not meet the user's preference. Therefore, one of the problems that needs to be addressed is how to enable the user to easily adjust the concentration of the extracted beverage in the tumbler according to personal preferences.
Summary of the Invention
[0007] According to the tumbler described in the above embodiment, the operating part can forcibly move the lifting part between the extraction position and the drinking position via magnetic force. Specifically, when the lifting part is in the extraction position, the separation part is separated from the lower blocking part, and the first and second containment spaces, located on opposite sides of the lifting part, are in fluid communication with each other via the hollow part. When the lifting part is in the drinking position, the separation part presses against the lower blocking part to form a separation structure together with the lower blocking part, and the fluid communication between the first and second containment spaces, located on opposite sides of the lifting part, is blocked by the separation structure that blocks the hollow part. Thus, the extracted beverage is separated from the extracted substance, thereby ending the extraction process of the extracted substance. Therefore, if the concentration of the extracted beverage in the tumbler does not meet the user's preference, the concentration of the extracted beverage can be adjusted by moving the lifting part between the extraction position and the drinking position. Thus, the user can enjoy the extracted beverage with optimal flavor.
[0008] The above description and the following detailed embodiments of this disclosure are provided to illustrate and explain the principles of this disclosure and to further clarify the scope of the claims of this disclosure. [Brief explanation of the drawing]

[Figure 34] It is a perspective view of the tumbler according to the ninth embodiment of the present disclosure. [Figure 35] It is an exploded view of the tumbler in FIG.In this embodiment, the tumbler 10 is a thermos flask having heat insulation properties, although this is not limited to the tumbler 10. The tumbler 10 comprises a tumbler body 20, a lifting component 30, an operating component 40, a plurality of first magnetic assemblies 50, and an upper cover 60. The tumbler body 20 comprises a bottle portion 21 and a lower shielding portion 22. The bottle portion 21 comprises an inner bottle portion 211, an outer bottle base 212, and a lower cover 213. The inner bottle portion 211 forms a first storage space 214. The outer bottle base 212 is fitted over the inner bottle portion 211 in a sleeve-like manner and assembled with it. A sliding recess 215 is formed between the outer bottle base 212 and the inner bottle portion 211. The sliding recess 215 is positioned at a distance from the first storage space 214. Opposing sides of the outer bottle base 212 have openings 2121. The two openings 2121 are connected to the sliding recess 215. The lower cover 213 is screwed onto, for example, the bottom of the bottle portion 21 and covers the sliding recess 215 and the first storage space 214. The lower cover 213 forms a second storage space 2131. The second storage space 2131 is configured to contain an extracting substance 200, such as tea leaves. After the extracting substance 200 is placed in the second storage space 2131, hot water can be poured into the tumbler body 20 to extract an extracting beverage 300, such as tea, in the first storage space 214. The lower blocking portion 22 protrudes from the bottle portion 21 and is located in the first storage space 214.
[0012] Please refer to Figures 1 to 4. Figure 4 is a cross-sectional view of the tumbler of Figure 1. The lifting component 30 is located in the first housing space 214 and comprises a hollow portion 31 and a separation portion 32. The hollow portion 31 is connected to the separation portion 32. The first housing space 214 is configured to be in fluid communication with the second housing space 2131 via the hollow portion 31. The separation portion 32 may press against the lower blocking portion 22 of the tumbler body 20, thereby blocking the fluid communication between the first housing space 214 and the second housing space 2131.
[0013] The operating component 40 is located outside the first housing space 214, and each of the opposing sides of the operating component 40 has two operating parts 41. The operating component 40 is slidably positioned on the bottle portion 21 along its axial direction, and the two operating parts 41 are respectively located in two openings 2121 of the outer bottle base 212. Each of the first magnetic assemblies 50 comprises a plurality of first magnetic components 51 and a plurality of second magnetic components 52. The first magnetic components 51 and the second magnetic components 52 are, for example, magnets. The first magnetic components 51 are positioned on the lifting component 30. The second magnetic components 52 are positioned on the operating component 40, and each second magnetic component 52 attracts each of the first magnetic components 51, so that the operating component 40 may raise and lower the lifting component 30 relative to the bottle portion 21 via magnetic force. The upper cover 60 is screwed onto the upper side of the tumbler body 20, for example, and covers the first storage space 214.
[0014] In this embodiment, the lifting component 30 may be moved between the extraction position and the drinking position relative to the bottle portion 21 via magnetic force. When the operating component 40 raises the lifting component 30 to the extraction position, the separation portion 32 is separated from the lower blocking portion 22, and the first and second containment spaces 214 and 2131, located on opposite sides of the lifting component 30, are in fluid communication with each other via the hollow portion 31. Thus, the hot water can continue to extract the extracting substance 200. When the operating component 40 lowers the lifting component 30 to the drinking position, the separation portion 32 presses against the lower blocking portion 22 to form a separation structure together with the lower blocking portion 22, and the fluid communication between the first and second containment spaces 214 and 2131, located on opposite sides of the lifting component 30, is blocked by the separation structure that blocks the hollow portion 31. Therefore, the extracted beverage 300 is separated from the extracted substance 200, thereby ending the extraction process of the extracted substance 200.
[0015] In this embodiment, the tumbler 10 may further include a first sealing pad 70. The first sealing pad 70 is, for example, a rubber ring. The first sealing pad 70 is compressed between the lower cover 213 and the bottle portion 21. Thus, the sealing performance between the lower cover 213 and the bottle portion 21 is improved by the first sealing pad 70, thereby preventing the extracted beverage 300 from leaking out through the gap between them.
[0016] In this embodiment, the tumbler 10 may be equipped with a second sealing pad 80. The second sealing pad 80 is, for example, a rubber ring. The second sealing pad 80 is positioned on the separation portion 32 of the lifting component 30. Thus, the sealing performance between the separation portion 32 and the lower blocking portion 22 is improved by the second sealing pad 80, thereby preventing the extracted beverage 300 from flowing from the first containment space 214 to the second containment space 2131.
[0017] In this embodiment, there are a plurality of first magnetic components 51 and a plurality of second magnetic components 52, and each second magnetic component 52 attracts each first magnetic component 51, thereby raising and lowering the lifting component 30 relative to the bottle portion 21 via magnetic force, but the disclosure is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, there may be one first magnetic component and one second magnetic component, and the second magnetic component attracts the first magnetic component, thereby raising and lowering the lifting component relative to the bottle portion via magnetic force.
[0018] Please refer to Figures 5 and 6. Figure 5 is a cross-sectional view of the lifting component in Figure 1 located at the extraction position, and Figure 6 is a cross-sectional view of the lifting component in Figure 1 located at the drinking position.
[0019] As shown in Figure 5, when a user needs to brew tea, the user may place the extraction substance 200 in the second containment space 2131 of the lower cover 213 and screw the lower cover 213 onto the bottle portion 21, thereby creating fluid communication between the first containment space 214 of the bottle portion 21 and the second containment space 2131. Thus, the brewed beverage 300 may be brewed through the extraction substance 200 immersed in hot water. Next, the user can press the operating part 41 of the operating part 40, which forces the lifting part 30 to the brewing position along direction A via the magnetic force generated between the first magnetic part 51 and the second magnetic part 52, allowing the user to pour hot water into the tumbler body 20 to immerse the extraction substance 200 in the hot water and brew the brewed beverage 300. At this time, the brewed beverage 300 can flow between the first containment space 214 and the second containment space 2131 through the hollow portion 31 of the lifting part 30.
[0020] As shown in Figure 6, when the user feels that the concentration of the extracted beverage 300 meets their preference, the user may press the operating part 41 of the operating part 40, thereby forcing the operating part 40 to lower the lifting part 30 from the extraction position to the drinking position along direction B via the magnetic force generated between the first magnetic part 51 and the second magnetic part 52. At this time, the separating part 32 of the lifting part 30 presses against the lower blocking part 22 of the tumbler body 20, blocking the fluid communication between the first storage space 214 and the second storage space 2131, thereby preventing the extracted beverage 300 extracted from the extracted substance 200 located in the second storage space 2131 from flowing into the first storage space 214. In other words, the concentration of the extracted beverage 300 located in the first storage space 214 is prevented from increasing over time due to prolonged extraction.
[0021] When the lifting component 30 is in the extraction position, the first containment space 214 is in fluid communication with the second containment space 2131. Therefore, the extractable substance 200 located in the second containment space 2131 can be immersed in the extracted beverage 300 located in the first containment space 214. When the lifting component 30 is in the drinking position, the first containment space 214 is not in fluid communication with the second containment space 2131. Therefore, the extractable substance 200 located in the second containment space 2131 is not immersed in the extracted beverage 300 located in the first containment space 214. Thus, the user can adjust the concentration of the extracted beverage 300 according to their preference by moving the lifting component 30 between the extraction position and the drinking position.
[0022] In conventional tumblers, the operating part that forces the lifting mechanism to move is located near the mouth of the bottle. Therefore, during the brewing process, the user cannot close the top cover onto the tumbler body until the brewing process is complete. In contrast, in this embodiment, the operating part 40 that forces the lifting mechanism 30 to move is located on opposite sides of the tumbler body 20, so the operating part 40 does not interfere with closing the top cover 60 onto the tumbler body 20. As a result, when a user is in a hurry to go out, the user can first close the top cover 60 onto the tumbler body 20 and then move the lifting mechanism 30 to the brewing position via the operating part 40 while they are out. Therefore, the user does not need to spend any more time waiting for the brewed beverage 300 to finish brewing, thereby saving brewing time and improving the ease of beverage preparation.
[0023] Please refer to Figure 7. This figure is a cross-sectional view of a tumbler according to a second embodiment of the present disclosure. The tumbler 10A of this embodiment is the same as the tumbler 10 of the first embodiment. Therefore, the following description will explain the differences between this embodiment and the first embodiment, and will omit repeating details. In the tumbler 10A of this embodiment, the bottle portion 21A of the tumbler body 20A further comprises a bottle base 216, and the bottle base 216 and the inner bottle portion 211 of the bottle portion 21A together form a first storage space 214A. The lifting component 30 of the tumbler 10A is located in the first storage space 214A and divides the first storage space 214A into a first sub-space 2141A and a second sub-space 2142A. The first storage space 214A is configured to contain the extracted beverage 300, and the second sub-space 2142A is configured to contain the extracted substance 200. In addition, the lower cover 213 is attached to the bottle portion 21A and covers the sliding recess 215. That is, the lower cover 213 does not form a second containment space, and the extractable substance 200 needs to be placed inside the tumbler 10A through its opening.
[0024] In this embodiment, the lifting component 30 can be raised and lowered relative to the bottle portion 21A so as to move it to the extraction position or drinking position via magnetic force. When the operating component 40 forcibly raises the lifting component 30 to the extraction position, the separation portion 32 is separated from the lower blocking portion 22, and the first sub-spaces 2141A and the second sub-spaces 2142A, located on opposite sides of the lifting component 30, are in fluid communication with each other via the hollow portion 31. Thus, the hot water can continue to extract the extracting substance 200. When the operating component 40 forcibly lowers the lifting component 30 to the drinking position, the separation portion 32 presses against the lower blocking portion 22 to form a separation structure together with the lower blocking portion 22, and the fluid communication between the first sub-spaces 2141A and the second sub-spaces 2142A, located on opposite sides of the lifting component 30, is blocked by the separation structure blocking the hollow portion 31. Therefore, the extracted beverage 300 is separated from the extracted substance 200, thereby ending the extraction process of the extracted substance 200.
[0025] Please refer to Figures 8 to 10. Figure 8 is a perspective view of a tumbler according to a third embodiment of the present disclosure, Figure 9 is a partial exploded view of a part of the tumbler of Figure 8, and Figure 10 is a partial exploded view of a part of the tumbler of Figure 8 viewed from a different angle.
[0026] The tumbler 10B of this embodiment is the same as the tumbler 10 of the first embodiment. Therefore, the following description will explain the differences between this embodiment and the first embodiment, and repeating details will be omitted. In this embodiment, the upper cover 60B of the tumbler 10B comprises an assembly base 61, a pivot 62, a cover body 63, and an elastic component 64. The assembly base 61 is screwed onto, for example, the bottle portion 21 and has a spout 611. The cover body 63 is pivotably positioned on the assembly base 61 via the pivot 62 to close the spout 611, thereby preventing the extracted beverage 300 from flowing out of the tumbler 10B through the spout 611. The pivot 62 has a helical projection 621. The elastic component 64 is sleeved over the pivot 62. The opposing ends of the elastic component 64 press against the helical projection 621 and the cover body 63, respectively. The elastic component 64 is, for example, a spring. The elastic component 64 and the pivot 62 are located within the assembly base 61 and are not exposed to the outside.
[0027] The tumbler 10B comprises a flow regulating component 90, a push-in telescopic structure 100, and a recovery component 110. The flow regulating component 90 has three connection holes 91, which are of different sizes. The flow regulating component 90 is rotatably positioned on an assembly base 61 so that one of the connection holes 91 is selectively aligned with the spout 611. The push-in telescopic structure 100 comprises an assembly post 101, a sleeve 102, a rotating component 103, and a pressing component 104. The assembly post 101 is screwed into the assembly base 61, for example. The sleeve 102 and the rotating component 103 are fixed to the flow regulating component 90, with the sleeve 102 surrounding the rotating component 103. The pressing component 104 is slidably positioned within the sleeve 102. The assembly post 101 and the rotating part 103 each have a plurality of guide blocks 1011 and 1031 that fit together with each other. The pressing part 104 is positioned to be pressable on the rotating part 103, and the pressing part 104 forces the flow regulating part 90 to rotate via the guide blocks 1011 and 1031 and the rotating part 103. The opposing ends of the recovery part 110 press against the assembly base 61 and the flow regulating part 90, respectively, thereby allowing the pressing part 104 to recover after being pressed. The recovery part 110 is, for example, a spring.
[0028] In this embodiment, there are multiple guide blocks 1011 of the assembly post 101 and multiple guide blocks 1031 of the rotating part 103 that align with each other, and the flow regulating part 90 is forced to rotate via the guide blocks 1011 and 1031, but the disclosure is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, there may be one guide block of the assembly post and one guide block of the rotating part, and the two guide blocks may align with each other to force the flow regulating part 90 to rotate via the guide blocks.
[0029] In this embodiment, there are three connection holes 91. The connection holes 91 are of different sizes, and one of the connection holes 91 is selectively aligned with the spout 611, but this disclosure is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, there may be two or more connection holes of different sizes, and one of the connection holes may be selectively aligned with the spout.
[0030] Please refer to Figures 11 and 12. Figure 11 is a top view showing the top cover in Figure 8 in the open position, and Figure 12 is a top view showing the top cover in Figure 8 in the closed position.
[0031] In this embodiment, when the upper cover 60B is in the closed position, the opposing ends of the elastic component 64 press against the helical projection 621 and the cover body 63, respectively. As shown in Figure 11, when the user needs to open the upper cover 60B, the helical projection 621 of the pivot 62 forces the elastic component 64 to stretch along direction C. Thus, the upper cover 60B can be opened by moving it from the closed position to the open position along direction D. As shown in Figure 12, when the user needs to close the upper cover 60B, the helical projection 621 of the pivot 62 presses against the elastic component 64 along direction E. Thus, the upper cover 60B can be closed by moving it from the open position to the closed position along direction F.
[0032] Please refer to Figures 13 to 15. Figure 13 is a bottom view of the upper cover in Figure 8, Figure 14 is a cross-sectional view of the upper cover in Figure 8, and Figure 15 is a cross-sectional view showing the push-in expandable structure in Figure 8 being rotated.
[0033] In this embodiment, one of the connection holes 91 of different sizes is in fluid communication with the spout 611. When the user selects a connection hole 91 of a suitable size according to their requirements, the user can press the pressing component 104 along direction G, so that the flow regulating component 90 and the recovery component 110 are pressed by the pressing component 104 so that they are moved along direction G. The user then releases the pressing component 104, causing the guide blocks 1011 and 1031 of the assembly post 101 and the rotating component 103 to force the flow regulating component 90 to rotate along direction H, and the recovery component 110 to recover along the opposite direction of direction G. At this time, another connection hole 91 of a suitable size according to their requirements can be in fluid communication with the spout 611. Thus, the user can adjust the flow regulating component 90 according to their requirements to select a connection hole 91 of a suitable size.
[0034] Please refer to Figures 16 to 18. Figure 16 is a perspective view of a tumbler according to a fourth embodiment of the present disclosure, Figure 17 is an exploded view of the tumbler of Figure 16, and Figure 18 is a partial exploded view of the tumbler of Figure 16.
[0035] The tumbler 10C of this embodiment is the same as the tumbler 10 of the first embodiment. Therefore, the following description will explain the differences between this embodiment and the first embodiment, and repeating details will be omitted. In this embodiment, the tumbler 10C comprises a closing component 120 and a filter component 130. The upper cover 60C has an air hole 65. The closing component 120 is movably positioned in the air hole 65 to close or open the air hole 65. The lifting component 30 of the tumbler 10C is located in the first containment space 214C, and the filter component 130 is positioned through the hollow portion 31 of the lifting component 30. The filter component 130 is, for example, an iron mesh and is configured to filter the extractable substance 200. In addition, each of the opposing sides of the inner bottle portion 211 has two positioning recesses 2111, and the two positioning recesses 2111 correspond to the opposing ends of the opening 2121, so that when the lifting component 30 is raised and lowered via magnetic force, the lifting component 30 can be held in a predetermined position in the positioning recesses 2111.
[0036] Please also refer to Figure 19, which is a cross-sectional view of the tumbler in Figure 16. In this embodiment, when a user needs to drink an extracted beverage 300 containing milk foam or bubbles, the user can first move the closing part 120 along direction I so that air located outside the tumbler 10C can flow into the first containment space 214C of the tumbler 10C through the air holes 65 of the upper cover 60C. The user can then quickly and repeatedly move the lifting part 30 along direction J and the opposite direction of direction J via the operating part 40, thereby injecting air located outside the tumbler 10C into the extracted beverage 300 inside the tumbler 10C through the air holes 65. Thus, milk foam or bubbles can be generated in the extracted beverage 300.
[0037] In this embodiment, the lifting component 30 may be moved between the extraction position and the drinking position relative to the bottle portion 21C via magnetic force. When the operating portion 41 of the operating component 40 is not pressed, the operating component 40 can be held in a predetermined position on the inner bottle portion 211 by, for example, positioning the operating component 40 on the inner bottle portion 211 via its positioning projection and holding it in its current position. When the operating portion 41 of the operating component 40 is pressed, the operating component 40 can be moved relative to the inner bottle portion 211 to be released by, for example, forcibly detaching the operating component 40 from the inner bottle portion 211 via compression of a spring connected to the operating portion 41, and the operating component 40 can forcibly raise and lower the lifting component 30 relative to the inner bottle portion 211.
[0038] When the operating part 40 forcibly raises the lifting part 30 to the extraction position, the operating portion 41 of the operating part 40 can be held in a predetermined position in the positioning recess 2111 corresponding to the upper end of the opening 2121. In addition, the separating portion 32 of the lifting part 30 is separated from the lower blocking portion 22 of the tumbler body 20, and the first sub-space 2141C and the second sub-space 2142C, located on opposite sides of the lifting part 30, are in fluid communication with each other via the hollow portion 31. Therefore, the hot water can continuously extract the extracting substance 200. When the operating part 40 forcibly lowers the lifting part 30 to the drinking position, the operating portion 41 of the operating part 40 can be held in a predetermined position in the positioning recess 2111 corresponding to the bottom end of the opening 2121. In addition, the separation portion 32 of the lifting component 30 presses against the lower blocking portion 22 of the tumbler body 20, forming a separation structure together with the lower blocking portion 22. Fluid communication between the first sub-space 2141C and the second sub-space 2142C, located on opposite sides of the lifting component 30, is blocked by the separation structure that blocks the hollow portion 31. Thus, the extracted beverage 300 is separated from the extracted substance 200, thereby ending the extraction process of the extracted substance 200.
[0039] In addition, when the operating part 40 forcibly raises the lifting part 30 to the drinking position and the operating portion 41 of the operating part 40 is held in a predetermined position in the positioning recess 2111, the central portion of the first magnetic part 51 is further away from the lower cover 213 than the central portion of the second magnetic part 52. That is, the first magnetic part 51 and the second magnetic part 52 are not aligned. At this time, the magnetic force generated between the misaligned first magnetic part 51 and the second magnetic part 52 can apply a force F1 to the operating part 40 toward the lower cover 213, so that the lifting part 30 forced by the operating part 40 presses more tightly against the lower barrier portion 22 of the tumbler body 20C, thereby preventing the extracted beverage 300 from flowing between the first sub-space 2141C and the second sub-space 2142C.
[0040] In this embodiment, the gap between the lifting component 30 and the inner bottle portion 211 can be adjusted by using lifting components of different sizes, thereby allowing control of the flow rate and velocity of the extracted beverage 300 flowing from the first sub-space 2141C to the second sub-space 2142C.
[0041] Please refer to Figures 20 to 22. Figure 20 is a perspective view of a tumbler according to a fifth embodiment of the present disclosure, Figure 21 is an exploded view of the tumbler of Figure 20, and Figure 22 is a partial exploded view of the tumbler of Figure 20.
[0042] The tumbler 10D of this embodiment is the same as the tumbler 10 of the first embodiment. Therefore, the following description will explain the differences between this embodiment and the first embodiment, and repeating details will be omitted. In this embodiment, the tumbler 10D comprises a tumbler body 20, a lifting component 30, an operating component 40D, a first magnetic assembly 50, a second magnetic assembly 55, and an upper cover 60. The tumbler body 20 comprises a bottle portion 21 and a lower shielding portion 22. The bottle portion 21 comprises an inner bottle portion 211, an outer bottle base 212, and a lower cover 213. The inner bottle portion 211 forms a first storage space 214. The outer bottle base 212 is fitted over the inner bottle portion 211 in a sleeve-like manner and assembled with the inner bottle portion 211 to form a double-layer heat insulating structure together with the inner bottle portion 211. A sliding recess 215 is formed between the outer bottle base 212 and the inner bottle portion 211. The sliding recess 215 is positioned at a distance from the first housing space 214. Opposite sides of the outer bottle base 212 have openings 2121. The openings 2121 are connected to the sliding recess 215.
[0043] The lower cover 213 is, for example, detachably screwed onto the bottle portion 21 and covers the sliding recess 215 and the first storage space 214. The lower blocking portion 22 protrudes from the bottom of the bottle portion 21 and is located in the first storage space 214.
[0044] Please also refer to Figures 23 and 24. Figure 23 is a cross-sectional view of the tumbler in Figure 20, and Figure 24 is a cross-sectional view of the tumbler in Figure 20 from a different angle.
[0045] The lifting component 30 is located in the first housing space 214 and comprises a hollow portion 31 and a separation portion 32. The hollow portion 31 is connected to the separation portion 32. Since the hollow portion 31 has multiple holes, the first housing space 214 can communicate fluidly with the second housing space 2131 through the holes in the hollow portion 31. The separation portion 32 is configured to press against the lower blocking portion 22 of the tumbler body 20, thereby blocking fluid communication between the first housing space 214 and the second housing space 2131. The separation portion 32 is made of, for example, an elastic material.
[0046] The operating component 40D is located outside the first housing space 214. The operating component 40D is movably positioned on the bottle portion 21 along its axial direction. The operating component 40D comprises an annular portion 42 and two operating parts 41. The two operating parts 41 are located on opposite sides of the annular portion 42 and are located in two openings 2121 of the outer bottle base 212. The first magnetic assembly 50 comprises a plurality of first magnetic components 51 and a plurality of second magnetic components 52. The first magnetic components 51 and second magnetic components 52 are, for example, magnets. The first magnetic components 51 are positioned on the lifting component 30. The second magnetic components 52 are positioned on the operating component 40D. Each second magnetic component 52 attracts each first magnetic component 51, so that the operating component 40D can force the lifting component 30 to move relative to the bottle portion 21 via magnetic force.
[0047] The upper cover 60 is detachably screwed onto, for example, the upper side of the tumbler body 20. The upper cover 60 and the lower cover 213 are located at opposite ends of the first storage space 214 and the second storage space 2131, respectively. The upper cover 60 covers the first storage space 214.
[0048] The second magnetic assembly 55 comprises two third magnetic components 551 and two fourth magnetic components 552. The two third magnetic components 551 are positioned on the inner bottle portion 211. Each of the third magnetic components 551 comprises two attracting portions 5511 and two repulsive portions 5512. The two attracting portions 5511 are positioned at opposite ends of the repulsive portions 5512, respectively, and correspond to the extraction position and the drinking position, respectively. The two fourth magnetic components 552 are positioned on two operating portions 41, respectively, and the inner bottle portion 211 is located between the third magnetic components 551 and the fourth magnetic components 552. The magnetic poles of the two attracting parts 5511 are different from the magnetic poles of the two fourth magnetic components 552, so the two attracting parts 5511 attract the two fourth magnetic components 552, thereby holding the operating part 40D and the lifting part 30 in the extraction or drinking position. The magnetic poles of the repulsive part 5512 are the same as the magnetic poles of the two fourth magnetic components 552, so the repulsive part 5512 repels the two fourth magnetic components 552. Therefore, when the two fourth magnetic components 552 are moved relative to the repulsive part 5512, the frictional force generated between them can be reduced through the repulsive force generated between the repulsive part 5512 and the two fourth magnetic components 552, so that the operating part 40D and the lifting part 30 can be moved smoothly between the extraction and drinking positions.
[0049] In this embodiment, the lifting component 30 may be moved between the extraction position and the drinking position relative to the bottle portion 21 via magnetic force. When the operating component 40D forcibly raises the lifting component 30 to the extraction position, the separation portion 32 is separated from the lower blocking portion 22, and the first and second containment spaces 214 and 2131, located on opposite sides of the lifting component 30, are in fluid communication with each other via the hollow portion 31. Thus, the hot water can continue to extract the extracting substance 200. When the operating component 40D forcibly lowers the lifting component 30 to the drinking position, the separation portion 32 presses against the lower blocking portion 22 to form a separation structure together with the lower blocking portion 22, and the fluid communication between the first and second containment spaces 214 and 2131, located on opposite sides of the lifting component 30, is blocked by the separation structure that blocks the hollow portion 31. Therefore, the extracted beverage 300 is separated from the extractable substance 200, thereby ending the extraction process of the extractable substance 200. Thus, the user can adjust the concentration of the extracted beverage 300 according to their preference via the lifting component 30 located at the extraction position or drinking position.
[0050] In addition, in conventional tumblers, the operating part that forcibly moves the lifting mechanism is located near the mouth of the bottle. Therefore, during the brewing process, the user cannot close the top cover onto the tumbler body until the brewing process is complete. In contrast, in this embodiment, the operating part 40D that forcibly moves the lifting mechanism 30 is located on opposite sides of the tumbler body 20, so the operating part 40D does not interfere with closing the top cover 60 onto the tumbler body 20. As a result, when a user is in a hurry to go out, the user can first close the top cover 60 onto the tumbler body 20 and then move the lifting mechanism 30 to the brewing position via the operating part 40D while they are out. Therefore, the user does not need to spend any more time waiting for the brewed beverage 300 to finish brewing, thereby saving brewing time and improving the ease of beverage preparation.
[0051] Furthermore, the tumbler 10D includes a second magnetic assembly 55, and the operating part 40D and the lifting part 30 are held in the dispensing or drinking position via magnetic attraction between the attraction portion 5511 of the second magnetic assembly 55 and the fourth magnetic part 552. Thus, the operating part 40D and the lifting part 30 can be positioned more firmly in the dispensing or drinking position. In addition, the frictional force generated during the movement of the fourth magnetic part 552 against the repulsion portion 5512 can be reduced via the repulsive force generated between the repulsion portion 5512 of the second magnetic assembly 55 and the fourth magnetic part 552. Thus, the operating part 40D and the lifting part 30 can be moved more smoothly between the dispensing and drinking positions.
[0052] In this embodiment, the tumbler 10D may be equipped with a first sealing pad 70.
[0053] In this embodiment, the tumbler 10D may be equipped with a second sealing pad 80. The second sealing pad 80 is, for example, a rubber ring. The second sealing pad 80 is compressed between the upper cover 60 and the bottle portion 21. Thus, the sealing performance between the separation portion 32 and the lower sealing portion 22 is improved by the second sealing pad 80, thereby preventing the extracted beverage 300 from flowing from the first containment space 214 to the second containment space 2131.
[0054] In this embodiment, there are a plurality of first magnetic components 51 and a plurality of second magnetic components 52, but the disclosure is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, there may be one first magnetic component and one second magnetic component.
[0055] Please refer to Figures 25 and 26. Figure 25 is a cross-sectional view of the lifting component in Figure 20 located at the extraction position, and Figure 26 is a cross-sectional view of the lifting component in Figure 20 located at the drinking position.
[0056] As shown in Figure 25, when the user needs to brew tea, the user may place the brewing substance 200 in the second containment space 2131 of the lower cover 213 and screw the lower cover 213 onto the bottle portion 21, thereby creating fluid communication between the first containment space 214 of the bottle portion 21 and the second containment space 2131. Thus, the brewed beverage 300 may be brewed via the brewing substance 200 immersed in hot water. The user then presses the operating part 41 of the operating part 40D, causing the operating part 40D to force the lifting part 30 to the brewing position along direction K via the magnetic force generated between the first magnetic part 51 and the second magnetic part 52. At this time, the operating part 40D and the lifting part 30 are smoothly moved relative to the tumbler body 20 via the repulsive force generated between the repulsive part 5512 and the fourth magnetic part 552, and are positioned in the extraction position via magnetic attraction between the attracting part 5511 and the fourth magnetic part 552, and hot water is poured into the tumbler body 20, immersing the extraction substance 200 in the hot water to extract the extracted beverage 300. At this time, the extracted beverage 300 can flow between the first storage space 214 and the second storage space 2131 through the hollow part 31 of the lifting part 30.
[0057] As shown in Figure 26, when the user feels that the concentration of the extracted beverage 300 meets their preference, the user presses the operating part 41 of the operating part 40D, which forces the operating part 40D to lower the lifting part 30 from the extraction position to the drinking position along direction L via the magnetic force generated between the first magnetic part 51 and the second magnetic part 52. At this time, the operating part 40D and the lifting part 30 are smoothly moved relative to the tumbler body 20 via the repulsive force generated between the repulsive part 5512 and the fourth magnetic part 552, and are positioned in the drinking position via the magnetic attraction between the attracting part 5511 and the fourth magnetic part 552. When the lifting component 30 is in the drinking position, the separation portion 32 of the lifting component 30 presses against the lower blocking portion 22 of the tumbler body 20, blocking fluid communication between the first storage space 214 and the second storage space 2131, thereby preventing the extracted beverage 300 extracted by the extracting substance 200 located in the second storage space 2131 from flowing into the first storage space 214. In other words, the concentration of the extracted beverage 300 located in the first storage space 214 is prevented from increasing over time due to prolonged extraction.
[0058] In this embodiment, the third magnetic component 551 is located on the inner bottle portion 211, and each fourth magnetic component 552 is located on each operating portion 41 of the operating component 40D, respectively, but the disclosure is not limited thereto. For other embodiments, please refer to Figures 27 to 30. Figure 27 is an exploded assembly view of a tumbler according to a sixth embodiment of the disclosure, Figure 28 is a partial exploded assembly view of the tumbler of Figure 27, Figure 29 is a cross-sectional view of the tumbler of Figure 27, and Figure 30 is a cross-sectional view of the tumbler of Figure 27 from a different angle.
[0059] The tumbler 10E of this embodiment is the same as the tumbler 10D of the fifth embodiment. Therefore, the following description will explain the differences between this embodiment and the first embodiment, and repeating details will be omitted. In the tumbler 10E of this embodiment, the third magnetic component 551E of the second magnetic assembly 55E is located on the outer bottle base 212. The annular portion 42E of the operating component 40E has two slots 42E1. Two fourth magnetic components 552 are located in the two slots 42E1, respectively.
[0060] Please refer to Figures 31 and 32. Figure 31 is an exploded assembly view of a tumbler according to the seventh embodiment of this disclosure, and Figure 32 is a cross-sectional view of the tumbler of Figure 31. The tumbler 10F of this embodiment is the same as the tumbler 10D of the fifth embodiment. Therefore, the following description will explain the differences between this embodiment and the first embodiment, and will omit repetitive details.
[0061] In this embodiment of the tumbler 10F, the inner bottle portion 211F is provided with a first positioning structure 211F1. The outer bottle base 212F is provided with a second positioning structure 212F1. For example, the first positioning structure 211F1 is a positioning protrusion, and the second positioning structure 212F1 is a positioning recess. More specifically, the first positioning structure 211F1 and the second positioning structure 212F1 are a protrusion and a recess that match each other. Therefore, when the outer bottle base 212F is attached to the inner bottle portion 211F, the inner bottle portion 211F can be held in a predetermined position within the outer bottle base 212F via the first positioning structure 211F1 and the second positioning structure 212F1.
[0062] In this embodiment, the inner bottle portion 211F includes a third positioning structure 211F2. The lifting component 30F includes a fourth positioning structure 30F1. For example, the third positioning structure 211F2 is a positioning protrusion, and the fourth positioning structure 30F1 is a positioning recess. More specifically, the third positioning structure 211F2 and the fourth positioning structure 30F1 are a protrusion and a recess that match each other. Therefore, when the lifting component 30F is moved to the drinking position, the lifting component 30F can be held there via the third positioning structure 211F2 and the fourth positioning structure 30F1.
[0063] In this embodiment, the tumbler 10F includes a third magnetic assembly 140. The third magnetic assembly 140 includes a fifth magnetic component 141 and a sixth magnetic component 142. The fifth magnetic component 141 is positioned on the lifting component 30F. The sixth magnetic component 142 is positioned on the upper cover 60F. The fifth magnetic component 141 is configured to attract the sixth magnetic component 142. Therefore, when the lifting component 30F is moved to the drinking position, the lifting component 30F can be further held in place by the magnetic attraction between the fifth magnetic component 141 and the sixth magnetic component 142.
[0064] In this embodiment, the tumbler 10F comprises a first positioning component 75F and a second positioning component 76F. The first positioning component 75F is pressed between the upper cover 60F and the bottle portion 21F. The first sealing pad 70F comprises two sealing portions 70F1, which are spaced apart from each other. At least a portion of the first positioning component 75F is pressed between each sealing portion 70F1. When the outer bottle base 212F is assembled with the inner bottle portion 211F, the inner bottle portion 211F can be fixed to the outer bottle base 212F via the first positioning component 75F.
[0065] The second positioning component 76F is positioned on the attraction portion 5511F of the third magnetic component 551F, which is located near the lower cover 213, and is configured to hold the third magnetic component 551F in place. Thus, it is possible to prevent the third magnetic component 551F from being detached from the bottle portion 21.
[0066] In this embodiment, for example, there are three attraction portions 5511F and two repulsion portions 5512F of each of the third magnetic component 551F. The three attraction portions 5511F and the two repulsion portions 5512F are arranged alternately.
[0067] In this embodiment, the first positioning structure 211F1 and the second positioning structure 212F1 are a positioning protrusion and a positioning recess, respectively, and are aligned with each other; however, the disclosure is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the configurations of the recess and protrusion of the first positioning structure and the second positioning structure may be interchangeable, so that the first positioning structure and the second positioning structure are a positioning recess and a positioning protrusion, respectively, and are aligned with each other.
[0068] In this embodiment, the third positioning structure 211F2 and the fourth positioning structure 30F1 are a positioning protrusion and a positioning recess, respectively, and are aligned with each other; however, the disclosure is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the configurations of the recess and protrusion of the third positioning structure and the fourth positioning structure may be interchangeable, so that the third positioning structure and the fourth positioning structure are a positioning recess and a positioning protrusion, respectively, and are aligned with each other.
[0069] In this embodiment, the tumbler 10F includes a second positioning component 76F for positioning the third magnetic component 551F, but the disclosure is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, the tumbler may not include the second positioning component, and the third magnetic component may be positioned, for example, by overmolding by plastic injection molding.
[0070] Please refer to Figure 33. This figure is a cross-sectional view of a tumbler according to the eighth embodiment of the present disclosure. The tumbler 10G of this embodiment is similar to the tumbler 10F of the seventh embodiment. Therefore, the following description will explain the differences between this embodiment and the first embodiment, and will omit repeating details. In the tumbler 10G of this embodiment, the first sealing pad 70G is integrally formed and not divided into two parts. The first positioning component 75G is positioned on one side of the first sealing pad 70G. When the outer bottle base 212G is assembled with the inner bottle portion 211G, the inner bottle portion 211G can be fixed to the outer bottle base 212G via the first positioning component 75G.
[0071] Please refer to Figures 34 to 36. Figure 34 is a perspective view of a tumbler according to the ninth embodiment of this disclosure, Figure 35 is an exploded assembly view of the tumbler of Figure 34, and Figure 36 is a partial exploded assembly view of the tumbler of Figure 34. The tumbler 10H of this embodiment is the same as the tumbler 10D of the fifth embodiment. Therefore, the following description will explain the differences between this embodiment and the first embodiment, and repeating details will be omitted.
[0072] In this embodiment of the tumbler 10H, the bottle portion 21H includes a bottle base 216. The bottle base 216 is connected to the inner bottle portion 211H, and together the bottle base 216 of the bottle portion 21H and the inner bottle portion 211H form a first containment space 214H. The lower cover 213 is attached to the bottle portion 21H and does not form a second containment space. The extracting substance (not shown) needs to be placed inside the tumbler 10H through its opening. Because the bottle base 216 is connected to the inner bottle portion 211H and covers the first containment space 214H, the tumbler 10H does not have a first sealing pad.
[0073] In this embodiment, the inner bottle section 211H is made of, for example, glass. In addition, the size of the opening 2121H of the outer bottle base 212H is larger than, for example, the size of the opening of the outer bottle base in the first embodiment. Therefore, the extracted beverage (not shown) located inside the inner bottle section 211H can be seen from the outside through the glass inner bottle section 211H and the large opening 2121H. Thus, the user can easily and directly observe the extraction state of the extracted beverage.
[0074] Please also refer to Figures 37 and 38. Figure 37 is a cross-sectional view of the tumbler in Figure 34, and Figure 38 is a cross-sectional view of the tumbler 10H in Figure 34 from a different angle.
[0075] In this embodiment, for example, there are three attraction portions 5511H and two repulsion portions 5512H of each of the third magnetic component 551H. The three attraction portions 5511H and the two repulsion portions 5512H are arranged alternately. One of the three attraction portions 5511H corresponds to one of the openings 2121H, and each of the other attraction portions 5511H corresponds to the extraction position and the drinking position, respectively.
[0076] Since the inner bottle section 211H is made of glass, the tumbler body 20H does not form a double-layered insulating structure. Therefore, the insulating performance of the tumbler body 20H is inferior to that of the tumbler body in the first embodiment. Consequently, the heat generated by the hot extracted beverage is transferred to the outer bottle base 212H, which may burn the user. In this regard, when the user moves the lifting component 30H to the pull-in section 5511H corresponding to the opening 2121H, the user can hold the operating component 40H to prevent their hand from directly touching the outer bottle base 212H. Therefore, the outer bottle base 212H can be made easier to hold so as not to burn the user's hand.
[0077] In this embodiment, there are three attracting portions 5511H and two repulsive portions 5512H of each of the third magnetic component 551H, where the three attracting portions 5511H and the two repulsive portions 5512H are arranged alternately, but the disclosure is not limited thereto. In other embodiments, there may be one attracting portion and one repulsive portion of each of the third magnetic component, where the attracting portion corresponds to the extraction position or the drinking position. That is, the operating and lifting components may be positioned at the extraction position or the drinking position solely by attraction due to the magnetic force generated between the attracting and repulsive portions.
[0078] Please refer to Figures 39 and 40. Figure 39 is a cross-sectional view of a tumbler according to the tenth embodiment of this disclosure, and Figure 40 is a cross-sectional view of the tumbler of Figure 39 from a different angle. The tumbler 10I of this embodiment is the same as the tumbler 10B of the third embodiment. Therefore, the following description will explain the differences between this embodiment and the first embodiment, and will omit repeating details.
[0079] In this embodiment, the tumbler 10I includes an elastic component 305. The elastic component 305 is positioned on a lifting component 30I. In addition, the tumbler body 20I includes an upper shut-off portion 23. The upper shut-off portion 23 protrudes from a position near the mouth of the bottle portion 21I and is located in the first containment space 214. That is, the lower shut-off portion 22 and the upper shut-off portion 23 are located on opposite sides of the bottle portion 21I, respectively. The lower shut-off portion 22 forms a first through-hole 221. The upper shut-off portion 23 forms a second through-hole 231. The first through-hole 221 and the second through-hole 231 are in fluid communication with the first containment space 214. The maximum diameter R1 of the lifting component 30I is greater than the diameter R2 of the second through-hole 231. In other words, the lifting component 30I is obstructed by the upper blocking portion 23, so it is not possible to attach the lifting component 30I to the first storage space 214 through the opening of the bottle portion 21I via the second through hole 231.
[0080] Generally, if the tumbler 10I is already filled with hot water, the lifting component 30I may be installed too quickly into the first storage space 214 from the mouth of the bottle portion 21I due to the strong magnetic force generated between the first magnetic component 51 and the second magnetic component 52 during assembly, causing the hot water to splash out of the tumbler 10I and potentially burn the user. In this embodiment, the lifting component 30I is prevented from being installed into the first storage space 214 from the mouth of the bottle portion 21I through the second through-hole 231 because it is obstructed by the upper blocking portion 23 which protrudes from a position near the mouth of the bottle portion 21I. The user can only install the lifting component 30I into the first storage space 214 through the first through-hole 221 via the lower blocking portion 22 which presses against the elastic component 305 and the elastic separation portion 32I after first opening the lower cover 213. Since the user must first open the bottom cover 213, it is not possible to pre-fill the tumbler 10I with hot water. As a result, there is no risk of hot water splashing out of the tumbler 10I, thus preventing the risk of the user being burned.
[0081] Please refer to Figure 41. This figure is a cross-sectional view of a tumbler according to the eleventh embodiment of this disclosure. The tumbler 10J of this embodiment is the same as the tumbler 10D of the fifth embodiment. Therefore, the following description will explain the differences between this embodiment and the first embodiment, and repeating details will be omitted.
[0082] In this embodiment of the tumbler 10J, the separation portion 32J of the lifting component 30J comprises a compression member 33 and a separation member 34. The separation member 34 is attached to the compression member 33. The compression member 33 is, for example, conical and is attached to the hollow portion 31J. Therefore, when the lifting component 30J is in the drinking position, the extractable substance (not shown) can be pressed by the compression member 33 so that the extractable substance is completely contained within the second containment space 2131. Thus, it is possible to prevent the extractable substance from being unexpectedly located between the separation portion 32J and the lower blocking portion 22, thereby maintaining the blocking performance between the separation portion 32J and the lower blocking portion 22.
[0083] In addition, the separating member 34 can be made movable relative to the compression member 33 so that its position changes. When the operating part 40J forcibly moves the lifting part 30J via the first magnetic assembly 50, the lifting part 30J may change position due to deviations in magnetic attraction. Therefore, the lifting part 30J may not be arranged concentrically within the tumbler 10J, thereby reducing the sealing performance between the separating part 32J and the lower blocking part 22. In this embodiment, when the position of the lifting part 30J changes, for example along direction M, the separating member 34 is movable relative to the compression member 33, so that the separating member 34 can be pressed by the compression member 33 so that its position changes, for example along direction N. Therefore, the separating member 34 can be returned to a concentric position within the tumbler 10J along direction N.
[0084] In this embodiment, the tumbler 10J further comprises a flow guide blade 150. The flow guide blade 150 is positioned on one side of the hollow portion 31J of the lifting component 30J, away from the separation portion 32J. The flow guide blade 150 is made of, for example, an elastic material, but is not limited to this disclosure. In other embodiments, the flow guide blade may be made of, for example, a rigid material. When a user pours hot water into the tumbler 10J and moves the lifting component 30J from the drinking position to the dispensing position along direction O, the hot water flows rapidly with the lifting component 30J along direction O. Therefore, the hot water is likely to splash out of the mouth of the tumbler 10J, which may burn the user. Therefore, when the lifting component 30J is moved from the drinking position to the dispensing position along direction O, the hot water can be guided to flow along direction P via the flow guide blade 150 positioned on the hollow portion 31J. In other words, when the lifting component 30J is moved from the drinking position to the dispensing position, the flow guide blade 150 can guide the hot water so that its direction changes. Therefore, the hot water does not flow directly towards the mouth of the tumbler 10J, thereby preventing the hot water from splashing out of the tumbler 10J. As a result, the risk of burning the user can be reduced.
[0085] In addition, the flow guide blade 150 can be made movable relative to the lifting component 30J so that its position changes. When the operating component 40J forcibly moves the lifting component 30J via the first magnetic assembly 50, the lifting component 30J may change position due to deviations in magnetic attraction. Therefore, the lifting component 30J may not be arranged concentrically within the tumbler 10J. In this case, the flow of hot water within the tumbler 10J may not be uniform. Therefore, the hot water may splash out of the tumbler 10J, potentially causing burns to the user. In this embodiment, when the position of the lifting component 30J changes, for example along direction M, the flow guide blade 150 is movable relative to the lifting component 30J, so that the flow guide blade 150 can be pressed by the lifting component 30J so that its position changes, for example along direction N. Therefore, the flow guide blade 150 can be returned to its concentric position within the tumbler 10J along direction N.
[0086] According to the tumbler described in the above embodiment, the operating part can forcibly move the lifting part between the extraction position and the drinking position via magnetic force. Therefore, when the concentration of the extracted beverage in the tumbler does not meet one's preference, the concentration of the extracted beverage can be adjusted by moving the lifting part between the extraction position and the drinking position. Thus, the user can enjoy the extracted beverage with optimal flavor.
[0087] In addition, in conventional tumblers, the operating part that forcibly moves the lifting mechanism is located near the mouth of the bottle. Therefore, during the brewing process, the user cannot close the top cover onto the tumbler body until the brewing process is complete. In contrast, in this disclosure, the operating part 40 that forcibly moves the lifting mechanism 30 is located on opposite sides of the tumbler body 20, so the operating part 40 does not interfere with closing the top cover 60 onto the tumbler body 20.
[0088] In addition, the assembly post and the guide block of the rotating part can force the flow regulating part to rotate, allowing connection holes of different sizes to selectively communicate with the spout and the fluid. Therefore, the user can adjust the flow regulating part according to their requirements and select a connection hole of a suitable size.
[0089] In addition, the tumbler comprises a third magnetic component and a fourth magnetic component, and the operating component and the lifting component are held in the extraction or drinking position via magnetic attraction between the attracting portion of the second magnetic assembly and the fourth magnetic component. Therefore, the operating component and the lifting component can be positioned more firmly in the extraction or drinking position. Furthermore, the frictional force generated during the movement of the fourth magnetic component against the repulsive portion can be reduced via the repulsive force generated between the repulsive portion of the second magnetic assembly and the fourth magnetic component. Therefore, the operating component and the lifting component can be moved more smoothly between the extraction and drinking positions.
[0090] Furthermore, the top cover has an air vent, and the closing component is movably positioned over the air vent. Therefore, air located outside the tumbler can flow into the tumbler through the air vent. Thus, the user can quickly move the lifting component to inject air located outside the tumbler into the beverage inside the tumbler through the air vent. This allows for the creation of milk foam or bubbles in the beverage for the user's enjoyment.
