Technical Field

[0003] Various confectionery products include a combination of sugar (e.g., sucrose) and corn syrup. The sugar in the mixture provides bulking (e.g., structure), water binding, hygroscopicity, and sweetness, while the corn syrup contributes to providing viscosity and assisting in inhibiting crystallization.
