Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a plant growing plate for growing epiphytes such as staghorn ferns (bat orchids), orchids, or myrmecophytes, etc. [Background technology]

[0002] When growing epiphytes such as staghorn ferns, instead of using pots, planting materials such as water moss are piled on the surface of a plate, and the plant is planted on the piled planting material to allow it to grow. There are various types of plates for use in this type of growth, and they are commercially available.

[0003] Patent Document 1 describes, as an example of such an epiphytic plate, a plate for plant decoration made of fired china clay with holes through which thread or string can be inserted for attaching epiphytes, with the surface of the plate treated to allow epiphytes to grow thereon and the reverse surface textured. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0004] [Patent Document 1] Patent No. 7105491 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0005] However, such conventional epiphytic plates have a fixed size (dimensions), and when an epiphyte grows, it is necessary to replace the plate with a larger one and replant (reattach the plate). Such replanting not only places a heavy burden on the epiphyte, but also requires a lot of work.

[0006] The present invention is made to solve such problems of the prior art, and the object of the present invention is to provide a plate for plant growth that does not require replacement even when epiphytes grow. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] According to the present invention, the plant growing plate comprises a first plate member made of resin having a plurality of ventilation holes, and a second plate member made of resin having an outer dimension larger than that of the first plate member, a fitting hole into which the first plate member can be fitted, and a plurality of ventilation holes. Each of the first plate member and the second plate member has a plurality of grooves at the outer periphery through which the fastening thread or fastening cord of the planting material passes.

[0008] The second plate member has a larger outer dimension than the first plate member, and has a fitting hole into which the first plate member can be fitted. Therefore, when a plant that has been grown using the first plate member grows, the first plate member can be pivotally attached to the fitting hole of the second plate member in that state, and the plate dimensions can be increased without replanting. As a result, there is almost no burden on the epiphyte, and no effort is required for replanting. In addition, since the outer peripheral end is provided with multiple grooves through which the fastening thread or fastening string can be passed, the task of fastening the planting material for the epiphyte is very easy.

[0009] The fitting hole of the second plate member is preferably provided coaxially with the central axis of the second plate member.

[0010] The plurality of ventilation holes in the first plate member are preferably provided over at least the entire central portion of the first plate member.

[0011] It is also preferable that the plurality of ventilation holes in the second plate member are provided across at least the entire central portion of the bottom surface of the fitting hole in the second plate member.

[0012] It is also preferable that the first plate member and the second plate member each have a locking portion for locking a hanging member for suspending the plant growing plate.

[0013] It is further provided with a third plate member made of resin having an outer dimension larger than that of the second plate member, a fitting hole into which the second plate member can be fitted, and a plurality of ventilation holes, and it is also preferable that the third plate member has a plurality of grooves at its outer peripheral edge through which the fastening thread or fastening cord of the implanting material can pass.

[0014] In this case, it is preferable that the fitting hole of the third plate member is provided coaxially with the central axis of the third plate member.

[0015] In this case, it is also preferable that the plurality of ventilation holes in the third plate member are provided across at least the entire central portion of the bottom surface of the fitting hole in the third plate member.

[0016] Furthermore, in this case, it is also preferable that the third plate member is provided with a locking portion for locking a hanging member for suspending the plant growing plate.

[0017] It is also preferable that the first plate member has a plate portion having a plurality of ventilation holes, and a cover portion rising from the peripheral edge of the plate portion for covering and holding the plants and part of the planting material. Effect of the Invention

[0018] According to the present invention, when a plant that has been grown using the first plate member grows, the first plate member can be pivotally attached to the fitting hole of the second plate member in that state, allowing the plate size to be increased without replanting. This puts almost no strain on the epiphyte and does not require the effort of replanting. In addition, since the outer periphery is provided with multiple grooves through which the fastening thread or string can be passed, the task of fastening the planting material for the epiphyte becomes very easy. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0020] (First embodiment) Figure 1 shows a schematic diagram of the overall configuration of a first embodiment of a plant growing plate according to the present invention, Figure 2 shows a schematic diagram of the configuration of a small plate member in this embodiment, Figure 3 shows a schematic diagram of the configuration of a medium plate member in this embodiment, and Figure 4 shows a schematic diagram of the configuration of a large plate member in this embodiment.

[0021] As shown in these figures, the plant growing plate of this embodiment includes a small plate member 10 (corresponding to the first plate member of this invention) used for mounting when the epiphyte is small, a middle plate member 11 (corresponding to the second plate member of this invention) used for mounting when the epiphyte grows beyond this and having an outer dimension larger than the small plate member 10, and a large plate member 12 (corresponding to the third plate member of this invention, corresponding to the second plate member when the middle plate member is considered as the first plate member of this invention) used for mounting when the epiphyte grows further. The plant growing plate of this embodiment is used for growing epiphytes such as staghorn ferns (bat orchids), western orchids, or myrmecophytes, but can also be used for other epiphytes.

[0022] The small plate member 10 is a flat plate member having a hexagonal outer shape with a thickness of 4 mm and a length between opposing sides of 110 mm, and is formed by a 3D printer, resin molding, or the like using a resin material such as PLA resin (polylactic acid resin), carbon-containing PLA resin, or PET resin (polyethylene terephthalate resin). A large number of hexagonal vent holes 10a, which are through holes, are provided over at least the entire central part of the small plate member 10. In this embodiment, the shape of the vent holes 10a is hexagonal, but it may be a polygonal shape other than a hexagon, a circular shape, an oval shape, a patterned shape, or any other shape. The number and position of the vent holes 10a are arbitrary. A part of the outer peripheral end of the small plate member 10 is provided with a plurality of grooves 10b (corresponding to the grooves of the present invention) for passing fishing line or fishing line (corresponding to the retaining thread of the present invention) or string (corresponding to the retaining string of the present invention) for retaining water moss, which is a planting material for epiphytic plants. The number, spacing and position of the grooves 10b are arbitrary. Since multiple grooves 10b are provided on the outer periphery, the work of fastening the water moss for epiphytic plants becomes very easy. Furthermore, the small plate member 10 is provided with fastening holes 10c (corresponding to the fastening portion of the present invention) for fastening a hanging member, such as a hook, for suspending the plant growing plate.

[0023] The middle plate member 11 is a flat plate member having a circular outer shape with a thickness of 6 mm and a diameter of about 143 mm, and is formed by a 3D printer, resin molding, or the like using a resin material such as PLA resin, carbon-containing PLA resin, or PET resin. A fitting hole 11d into which the small plate member 10 can be fitted is provided in the center of the middle plate member 11. The fitting hole 11d is a bottomed, non-through hole having the same hexagonal hole shape and dimensions as the outer shape of the small plate member 10. The depth of the fitting hole 11d is 4 mm, the same as the thickness of the small plate member 10. The central axis of the fitting hole 11d is coaxial with the central axis of the middle plate member 11. A large number of ventilation holes 11a, which are through holes, are provided over at least the entire central part of the bottom surface of the fitting hole 11d. In this embodiment, the multiple ventilation holes 11a of the middle plate member 11 are hexagonal in size and are provided at coaxial positions with the multiple ventilation holes 10a of the small plate member 10. As a result, the multiple ventilation holes 11a of the middle plate member 11 and the multiple ventilation holes 10a of the small plate member 10 are inserted in a state of being aligned, so that reliable ventilation is possible. Furthermore, the shape of the ventilation holes 11a is not limited to a hexagonal shape, and may be a polygonal shape other than a hexagon, a circular shape, an oval shape, a patterned shape, or any other shape. In addition, the number and position of the ventilation holes 11a are arbitrary. The outer peripheral end of the middle plate member 11 is provided with multiple recessed grooves 11b (corresponding to the grooves of the present invention) for passing fishing line or fishing line (corresponding to the retaining thread of the present invention) or string (corresponding to the retaining string of the present invention) for retaining water moss, which is a planting material for epiphytic plants. The number, intervals, and positions of the recessed grooves 11b are arbitrary. Since multiple grooves 11b are provided on the outer periphery, it becomes very easy to fasten the moss for epiphytic plants. Furthermore, the middle plate member 11 is provided with a fastening portion 11c for fastening a hanging member, such as a hook, for suspending the plant growing plate.

[0024] The large plate member 12 is a flat plate member having a hexagonal outer shape with a thickness of 9 mm and a length between opposing sides of 180 mm, and is formed by a 3D printer, resin molding, or the like using a resin material such as PLA resin, carbon-containing PLA resin, or PET resin. A fitting hole 12d into which the middle plate member 11 can be fitted is provided in the center of the large plate member 12. The fitting hole 12d is a bottomed, non-through hole having the same circular hole shape (including the shape of the locking portion 11c) and dimensions as the outer shape of the middle plate member 11. The depth of the fitting hole 12d is 6 mm, which is the same as the thickness of the middle plate member 11. The central axis of the fitting hole 12d is coaxial with the central axis of the large plate member 12. A large number of ventilation holes 12a, which are through holes, are provided over at least the entire central portion of the bottom surface of the fitting hole 12d. Furthermore, in this large plate member 12, a plurality of ventilation holes 12a are also provided in the open area outside the fitting hole 12d. In this embodiment, the multiple ventilation holes 12a of the large plate member 12 are hexagonal in size and are provided at coaxial positions with the multiple ventilation holes 11a of the middle plate member 11. As a result, the multiple ventilation holes 12a of the large plate member 12, the multiple ventilation holes 11a of the middle plate member 11, and the multiple ventilation holes 10a of the small plate member 10 are inserted in a state of being aligned, so that reliable ventilation is possible. Furthermore, the shape of the ventilation holes 12a is not limited to a hexagonal shape, and may be a polygonal shape other than a hexagon, a circular shape, an oval shape, a patterned shape, or any other shape. In addition, the number and positions of the ventilation holes 12a are arbitrary. A part of the outer circumferential end of the large plate member 12 is provided with multiple recessed grooves 12b (corresponding to the grooves of the present invention) for passing fishing line or fishing line (corresponding to the retaining thread of the present invention) or string (corresponding to the retaining string of the present invention) for retaining water moss, which is a planting material for epiphytic plants. The number, spacing and position of the grooves 12b are arbitrary. Since multiple grooves 12b are provided on the outer periphery, the work of fastening the water moss for epiphytic plants becomes very easy. Furthermore, the large plate member 12 is provided with fastening holes 12c (corresponding to the fastening portion of the present invention) for fastening a hanging member, such as a hook, for suspending the plant growing plate.

[0025] Fig. 5 shows the state in which the small plate member 10 in this embodiment is fitted into the medium plate member 11, and Fig. 6 shows the state in which the small plate member 10 in this embodiment is fitted into the medium plate member 11, and the medium plate member 11 is fitted into the large plate member 12. When the epiphyte is small, only the small plate member 10 is used for mounting, and when the epiphyte grows beyond this, the small plate member 10 is fitted into the medium plate member 11 as shown in Fig. 5. When the epiphyte grows further, the medium plate member 11 is fitted into the large plate member 12 as shown in Fig. 6. When the epiphyte grows even further, the large plate member 12 is fitted into another extra-large plate (not shown) having a larger outer dimension, or is attached to a cork board or the like having a larger outer dimension.

[0026] FIG. 7 illustrates the process of increasing the plate size according to this embodiment.

[0027] When the epiphytic plant, Staghorn fern, is small, as shown in Fig. 7(A), water moss 13 is laid in the center of the small plate member 10 to form a dome shape, the center is indented, the Staghorn fern 14 is planted, and more water moss 13 is added. Next, as shown in Fig. 7(B), nylon thread or fishing line, or hemp or cotton string (hereinafter collectively referred to as thread) 15 is wound around the water moss 13 several times while passing through the groove 10b, and the water moss 13 and Staghorn fern 14 are fixed so that they do not fall off. After that, the small plate member 10 in this state is hung on a wall, and the Staghorn fern 14 is attached and grown. Since multiple grooves 11b are provided at the outer periphery of the small plate member 10, the work of tying the thread 15 is very easy.

[0028] After that, when the staghorn fern 14 grows into a staghorn fern 14' as shown in Fig. 7(C), a process is performed to enlarge the dimensions of the attachment plate. In this process, the small plate member 10 with the grown staghorn fern 14' fixed is fitted as it is into the fitting hole 11d of the middle plate member 11, and then the water moss 13' is added, and the string 15' is wound around the water moss 13' several times while passing through the groove 11b of the middle plate member 11, and the water moss 13' is fixed so that it does not fall off. Fig. 7(D) shows this state. In this process, the string 15 tied to the small plate member 10 may be left as it is or may be removed. After that, the middle plate member 11 in this state is hung on the wall to allow the staghorn fern 14' to further attach and grow.

[0029] After that, when the staghorn fern 14' has grown further, a process is carried out to further increase the dimensions of the attachment plate. In this process, the middle plate member 11 with the grown staghorn fern 14" fixed to it is fitted as is into the fitting hole 12d of the large plate member 12, then the staghorn fern 13" is added, and the string 15" is passed through the groove 12b of the large plate member 12 and wrapped around the staghorn fern 13" several times to tie it down and secure it so that it does not fall off. Figure 7(E) shows this state. Note that during this process, the string 15' tied to the middle plate member 11 may be left as it is, or it may be removed. After that, the large plate member 12 in this state is hung on the wall to allow the staghorn fern 14" to attach and grow further.

[0030] When the staghorn fern 14'' becomes even larger, the large plate member 12 can be fitted into another extra-large plate (not shown) or attached to a cork board or the like.

[0031] As described above, according to this embodiment, when the epiphyte is small, only the small plate member 10 is used for plate attachment, and when the epiphyte grows beyond this, the small plate member 10 with the grown epiphyte attached is fitted as it is into the fitting hole 11d of the middle plate member 11 for use. When the epiphyte grows further, the middle plate member 11 with the further grown epiphyte attached is fitted as it is into the large plate member 12 for use. Thus, according to this embodiment, the size of the epiphyte plate can be increased in three stages without replanting. As a result, there is almost no burden on the epiphyte, and no effort is required for replanting. In addition, since the small plate member 10, the middle plate member 11, and the large plate member 12 all have a plurality of grooves at the outer periphery for passing the fishing line, the work of fastening the epiphyte and the water moss becomes very easy.

[0032] The outer shapes of the small plate member 10, the middle plate member 11, and the large plate member 12 in this embodiment are not limited to the shapes described above, and may be various shapes, such as a circle, a square, a polygon, or any other shape.

[0033] Second embodiment Figure 8 shows a schematic diagram of the overall configuration of a second embodiment of the plant growing plate of the present invention, Figure 9 shows a schematic diagram of the configuration of the middle plate member in this embodiment, and Figure 10 shows a schematic diagram of the configuration of the large plate member in this embodiment.

[0034] As shown in these figures, the plant growing plate of this embodiment comprises a middle plate member 111 (corresponding to the first plate member of this invention) used for mounting when the epiphyte is small, and a large plate member 112 (corresponding to the second plate member of this invention) used for mounting when the epiphyte grows beyond this and having an outer dimension larger than that of the middle plate member 111. The plant growing plate of this embodiment is used for growing epiphytes such as staghorn ferns (bat orchids), western orchids, or myrmecophytes, but can also be used for other epiphytes.

[0035] The middle plate member 111 is a flat plate member having a circular outer shape with a thickness of 6 mm and a diameter of about 143 mm, and is formed by a 3D printer, resin molding, or the like using a resin material such as PLA resin, carbon-containing PLA resin, or PET resin. A large number of hexagonal vent holes 111a, which are through holes, are provided over at least the entire central part of the middle plate member 111. In this embodiment, the multiple vent holes 111a of the middle plate member 111 are hexagonal in shape, but they may be polygonal shapes other than hexagonal shapes, circular shapes, oval shapes, patterned shapes, or any other shapes. The number and positions of the vent holes 111a are arbitrary. The outer peripheral end of the middle plate member 111 is provided with multiple grooves 111b (corresponding to the grooves of the present invention) for passing fishing line or fishing line (corresponding to the locking thread of the present invention) or string (corresponding to the locking string of the present invention) for locking water moss, which is a planting material for epiphytic plants. The number, intervals and positions of the grooves 111b are arbitrary. Since such a plurality of grooves 111b are provided on the outer peripheral edge, the work of fastening the water moss for epiphytic plants becomes very easy. Furthermore, the middle plate member 111 is provided with a fastening portion 111c for fastening a hanging member for suspending the plant growing plate, such as a hook.

[0036] The large plate member 112 is a flat plate member having a hexagonal outer shape with a thickness of 9 mm and a length between opposing sides of 180 mm, and is formed by a 3D printer, resin molding, or the like using a resin material such as PLA resin, carbon-containing PLA resin, or PET resin. A fitting hole 112d into which the middle plate member 111 can be fitted is provided in the center of the large plate member 112. The fitting hole 112d is a bottomed, non-through hole having the same circular hole shape (including the shape of the locking portion 111c) and dimensions as the outer shape of the middle plate member 111. The depth of the fitting hole 112d is 6 mm, the same as the thickness of the middle plate member 111. The central axis of the fitting hole 112d is coaxial with the central axis of the large plate member 112. A large number of ventilation holes 112a, which are through holes, are provided over at least the entire central part of the bottom surface of the fitting hole 112d. Furthermore, in the large plate member 112, a plurality of ventilation holes 112a are also provided in the open area outside the fitting hole 112d. In this embodiment, the plurality of ventilation holes 112a of the large plate member 112 are hexagonal in size and are provided at coaxial positions with the plurality of ventilation holes 111a of the middle plate member 111. As a result, the plurality of ventilation holes 112a of the large plate member 112 and the plurality of ventilation holes 111a of the middle plate member 111 are inserted in a state of being aligned, so that reliable ventilation is possible. Furthermore, the shape of the ventilation holes 112a is not limited to a hexagonal shape, and may be a polygonal shape other than a hexagonal shape, a circular shape, an oval shape, a patterned shape, or any other shape. The number and position of the ventilation holes 112a are arbitrary. A part of the outer peripheral edge of the large plate member 112 is provided with a plurality of grooves 112b (corresponding to the grooves of the present invention) for passing fishing line or fishing line (corresponding to the fastening thread of the present invention) or string (corresponding to the fastening string of the present invention) for fastening the water moss, which is a planting material for epiphytic plants. The number, spacing and position of the grooves 112b are optional. Since such a plurality of grooves 112b are provided on the outer peripheral edge, the task of fastening the water moss for epiphytic plants becomes very easy. Furthermore, the large plate member 112 is provided with fastening holes 112c (corresponding to the fastening portion of the present invention) for fastening a hanging member, such as a hook, for suspending the plant growing plate.

[0037] Fig. 11 shows the state in which the medium plate member 111 in this embodiment is fitted into the large plate member 112. When the epiphyte is small, only the medium plate member 111 is used for mounting, and when the epiphyte grows beyond this, the medium plate member 111 is fitted into the large plate member 112 as shown in Fig. 11. When the epiphyte grows even further, the large plate member 112 is fitted into another extra-large plate (not shown) that has a larger external dimension, or is attached to a cork board or the like that has a larger external dimension.

[0038] The processing operation for increasing the plate size in this embodiment is similar to that in the first embodiment, and therefore a description thereof will be omitted.

[0039] As described above, according to this embodiment, when the epiphyte is small, only the middle plate member 111 is used for mounting, and when the epiphyte grows beyond this, the middle plate member 111 with the grown epiphyte attached is fitted directly into the fitting hole 112d of the large plate member 112 for use. In this way, according to this embodiment, the size of the epiphyte plate can be increased in two stages without replanting. As a result, there is almost no burden on the epiphyte, and no effort is required for replanting. In addition, since both the middle plate member 111 and the large plate member 112 have multiple grooves at their outer periphery for passing fishing line through, the task of fastening the epiphyte and water moss becomes very easy.

[0040] The outer shapes of the middle plate member 111 and the large plate member 112 in this embodiment are not limited to the shapes described above, and may be various shapes, such as a circle, a square, a polygon, or any other shape.

[0041] (Third embodiment) Figure 12 shows a schematic diagram of the overall configuration of the third embodiment of the plant growing plate of the present invention, Figure 13 shows a schematic diagram of the configuration of the basket-equipped middle plate member in this embodiment, and Figure 14 shows a schematic diagram of the configuration of the large plate member in this embodiment.

[0042] As shown in these figures, the plant growing plate of this embodiment comprises a basket-attached middle plate member 211 (corresponding to the first plate member of this invention) used for mounting when the epiphyte is small, and a large plate member 212 (corresponding to the second plate member of this invention) with larger outer dimensions than the basket-attached middle plate member 211, used for mounting when the epiphyte grows beyond this. The plant growing plate of this embodiment is used for the growth of epiphytes such as staghorn ferns (bat orchids), western orchids, or myrmecophytes, but can also be used for other epiphytes.

[0043] The basket-equipped middle plate member 211 is composed of a plate portion 2111, which is a flat plate member having a circular outer shape with a thickness of 6 mm and a diameter of about 143 mm, and a cover portion 2112, which rises from the peripheral end of the plate portion 2111 and covers and holds a part of the epiphyte and water moss. The plate portion 2111 and the cover portion 2112 are formed by a 3D printer, resin molding, or the like using a resin material such as PLA resin, carbon-containing PLA resin, or PET resin. A large number of hexagonal vent holes 211a, which are through holes, are provided over at least the entire central portion of the plate portion 2111. In this embodiment, the multiple vent holes 211a of the plate portion 2111 of the basket-equipped middle plate member 211 are hexagonal, but may be polygonal other than hexagonal, circular, elliptical, patterned, or any other shape. The number and position of the vent holes 211a are arbitrary. The cover part 2112 of the basket-equipped middle plate member 211 has a function of covering and holding a part of the epiphytic plant and the water moss, which makes the work of fastening the water moss extremely easy. Although the cover part 2112 is shown in the figure as having a flat surface without holes, it may have a number of through holes in a patterned shape or other shapes. The plate part 2111 of the basket-equipped middle plate member 211 has a plurality of grooves 211b (corresponding to the grooves of the present invention) at the outer periphery end for passing a fishing line (corresponding to the fastening thread of the present invention) or a string (corresponding to the fastening string of the present invention) for fastening the water moss, which is a planting material for the epiphytic plant. The number, intervals and positions of the grooves 211b are arbitrary. In this embodiment, the cover part 2112 is provided and the plurality of grooves 211b are provided at the outer periphery end, which makes the work of fastening the water moss for the epiphytic plant extremely easy. Furthermore, the basket-attached middle plate member 211 is provided with a locking portion 211c for locking a hanging member, such as a hook, for suspending the plant-growing plate. Furthermore, the basket-attached middle plate member 211 is provided with an insertion port 211e for a plate on which the name of the plant is written.

[0044] The large plate member 212 is a flat plate member having a hexagonal outer shape with a thickness of 9 mm and a length between opposing sides of 180 mm, and is formed by a 3D printer, resin molding, or the like using a resin material such as PLA resin, carbon-containing PLA resin, or PET resin. A fitting hole 212d into which the basket-equipped middle plate member 211 can be fitted is provided in the center of the large plate member 212. The fitting hole 212d is a bottomed, non-through hole having the same circular hole shape (including the shape of the locking portion 211c) and the same dimensions as the outer shape of the plate portion 2111 of the basket-equipped middle plate member 211. The depth of the fitting hole 212d is 6 mm, the same as the thickness of the basket-equipped middle plate member 211. The central axis of the fitting hole 212d is coaxial with the central axis of the large plate member 212. A large number of ventilation holes 212a, which are through holes, are provided over at least the entire central portion of the bottom surface of the fitting hole 212d. Furthermore, in the large plate member 212, a plurality of ventilation holes 212a are also provided in the open area outside the fitting hole 212d. In this embodiment, the plurality of ventilation holes 212a of the large plate member 212 are hexagonal in size and are provided at coaxial positions as the plurality of ventilation holes 211a of the basket-equipped middle plate member 211. As a result, the plurality of ventilation holes 212a of the large plate member 212 and the plurality of ventilation holes 211a of the middle plate member 211 are inserted in a state of being aligned, so that reliable ventilation is possible. Furthermore, the shape of the ventilation holes 212a is not limited to a hexagonal shape, and may be a polygonal shape other than a hexagonal shape, a circular shape, an oval shape, a patterned shape, or any other shape. The number and position of the ventilation holes 212a are arbitrary. A part of the outer peripheral edge of the large plate member 212 is provided with a plurality of grooves 212b (corresponding to the grooves of the present invention) for passing fishing line or fishing line (corresponding to the fastening thread of the present invention) or string (corresponding to the fastening string of the present invention) for fastening the water moss, which is a planting material for epiphytic plants. The number, intervals and positions of the grooves 212b are arbitrary. Since such a plurality of grooves 212b are provided on the outer peripheral edge, the task of fastening the water moss for epiphytic plants becomes very easy.Furthermore, the large plate member 212 is provided with a locking hole 212c (corresponding to the locking portion of the present invention) for locking a hanging member, such as a hook, for suspending the plant growing plate.

[0045] Figure 15 shows the state in which the basket-equipped medium plate member 211 in this embodiment is fitted into the large plate member 212. When the epiphyte is small, only the basket-equipped medium plate member 211 is used for mounting, and when the epiphyte grows beyond this, the basket-equipped medium plate member 211 is fitted into the large plate member 212 as shown in Figure 15. When the epiphyte grows even further, the large plate member 212 is fitted into another extra-large plate (not shown) with larger external dimensions, or is attached to a cork board or the like with larger external dimensions.

[0046] The processing operation for increasing the plate size in this embodiment is similar to that in the first embodiment, and therefore a description thereof will be omitted.

[0047] As described above, according to this embodiment, when the epiphyte is small, only the basket-attached middle plate member 211 is used for mounting, and when the epiphyte grows beyond this, the basket-attached middle plate member 211 with the grown epiphyte attached is fitted into the fitting hole 212d of the large plate member 212 for use. In this way, according to this embodiment, the dimensions of the epiphyte plate can be increased in two stages without replanting. As a result, there is almost no burden on the epiphyte, and no effort is required for replanting. In addition, both the basket-attached middle plate member 211 and the large plate member 212 have multiple grooves at their outer periphery ends through which the fishing line passes, and further, since the basket-attached middle plate member 211 has the cover portion 2112, the work of fastening the epiphyte and the water moss becomes very easy.

[0048] The outer shapes of the plate portion 2111 of the basket-equipped middle plate member 211 and the large plate member 212 in this embodiment are not limited to the shapes described above, and may be various shapes, such as a circle, a square, a polygon, or any other shape.

[0049] In addition, while the above-described embodiment is a plant growing plate configured to fit a maximum of three levels of plate members, the plant growing plate of the present invention can be configured to fit more than three levels of plate members.

[0050] The above-described embodiments are merely illustrative of the present invention, and are not limiting, and the present invention can be embodied in various other modified and altered forms. Therefore, the scope of the present invention is defined only by the claims and their equivalents. [Explanation of symbols]
