Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a calendar support, and more particularly to a support for supporting a hanging calendar used in a spread state such as a bound calendar or a ring-bound calendar.
Background Art
[0002] Conventionally, a hanging calendar having a plurality of calendar sheets and bound so that these calendar sheets can be folded up and down has been widely used. This type of calendar has a hanging hole that penetrates all the calendar sheets at the center in the left-right direction of the outer edge on the side opposite to the binding side of each calendar sheet, and is used by hanging it on a wall or the like through the hanging hole in a state where a desired page is opened (spread state).
[0003] This type of calendar includes a type in which all the calendar sheets are arranged on the upper side in a spread state at the start of use, and a type in which all the calendar sheets are arranged on the lower side in a spread state at the start of use. In the former case, for example, every time a month passes, the spread page is changed by rolling the upper calendar sheets to the lower side. In the latter case, for example, every time a month passes, the spread page is changed by rolling the lower calendar sheets to the upper side.
[0004] In such a calendar, for example, when the calendar sheets are thin or when the calendar sheets are horizontally long, if the calendar is suspended by inserting a support member such as a hook attached to a wall or the like through the suspension holes at the upper ends of the spread pages, there is a problem that the upper end portions on both the left and right sides of the upper calendar sheet hang forward due to their own weight. Although it is possible to cope with such hanging by stopping the upper end portions on both the left and right sides of the upper calendar sheet with a clip or the like, it is troublesome because the clip needs to be re-stopped every time the calendar sheet is rolled up. Further, even when using a clip or the like to stop it, when the number of upper calendar sheets increases, they may fall forward due to their own weight, and there is also a problem that they look bad in the first place. As a countermeasure against such problems, a structure for preventing the calendar sheet from hanging forward (tipping forward) has been proposed (for example, Patent Documents 1, 2, etc.).
[0005] For example, in the binder calendar holder disclosed in Patent Document 1, a configuration is disclosed in which anti-tipping members are provided on both sides of the holder body. Further, in the calendar disclosed in Patent Document 2, a configuration is disclosed in which a stopper provided with locking protrusions for preventing the rolled-up calendar sheet from tipping forward is provided over the entire width direction. In these configurations, since the upper end portions on both the left and right sides of the calendar sheet are supported by the anti-tipping members and the locking protrusions, it is possible to prevent the calendar sheet from hanging forward.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0007] However, since the forward-fall prevention member disclosed in Patent Document 1 is provided only on both sides of the holder body, it cannot be used for calendars whose width is less than the interval between the forward-fall prevention members. Also, in the case of a calendar whose width is larger than the interval between the forward-fall prevention members, there is a risk that the calendar pieces located outside the forward-fall prevention members may fall forward. That is, since the width of the calendar that the user wants to use this holder for is unknown, in order to obtain the effect of preventing the forward fall of the calendar pieces for calendars of any width, it is necessary to prepare a variety of holder bodies.
[0008] On the other hand, in the calendar disclosed in Patent Document 2, when the vertical length of the locking convex shape is short, the calendar piece may bend and fall forward. Therefore, in order to surely prevent the forward fall, it is necessary to make the vertical length of the locking convex shape a certain extent. In this case, since a certain width of the upper end portion of the rolled-up calendar piece is hidden by the locking convex shape, the hidden portion effectively becomes a blank space. Therefore, if the configuration of the stopper disclosed in Patent Document 2 is adopted as the configuration of the calendar support, in a calendar that does not plan to use the support, the design etc. of the upper end portion of the calendar piece will be made invisible by the locking convex shape.
[0009] The present invention has been made in view of such problems of the prior art, and aims to provide a calendar support that has fewer inconveniences compared to the prior art and is applicable to any hanging-type calendar.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0010] To achieve the above object, the present invention adopts the following technical means. First, the present invention is premised on a calendar support for supporting a hanging-type calendar provided with a plurality of calendar sheets and bound so that these calendar sheets can be folded up and down. And the calendar support according to the present invention includes a base portion, a back-side restricting portion, a through groove, and a front-side restricting portion. The base portion abuts against the upper end of a hanging-type calendar with one or more calendar sheets positioned upward. The back-side restricting portion protrudes from the base portion to the back side of the calendar and restricts the movement of the calendar sheets in the back direction. The through groove is provided along the vertical direction at the center in the left-right direction of the back-side restricting portion. The calendar is arranged in a state where a hanging hole provided at the center near the upper end of the calendar overlaps with the through groove. The front-side restricting portion protrudes from the base portion to the front side of the calendar in a state where the protruding amount gradually increases from the center in the left-right direction of the base portion toward the end portions, and restricts the movement of the calendar sheets in the front direction.
[0011] According to this configuration, since both sides of the upper part of the rolled-up calendar sheets are supported by the front-side restricting portion, it is possible to prevent the calendar sheets from sagging toward the front side. Further, since the front-side restricting portion is configured such that the vertical width gradually increases from the center toward both ends, by hanging the hanging hole of the rolled-up calendar sheets on a hook or the like exposed through the through groove and pushing and spreading the upper part of the calendar sheets in the left-right direction from the center, the calendar sheets can be easily supported by the front-side restricting portion. Furthermore, since the vertical width of the front-side restricting portion is small or does not exist at the center of the calendar support, compared with the prior art, the design exposed on the front side of the rolled-up calendar sheets is not covered and made invisible. Also, since the front-side restricting portion is provided in a certain range on both sides of the calendar support, even when the lateral width of the calendar is smaller than the lateral width of the calendar support, it is possible to prevent the calendar sheets from sagging toward the front side.
[0012] In the above calendar support, it is possible to adopt a configuration in which the surface-side restricting portion is provided on both sides of the base portion at a predetermined interval provided at the central portion in the left-right direction of the base portion. Further, the above-described base portion, the back-side restricting portion, and the surface-side restricting portion may be constituted by a plate-like member bent into a U-shaped cross section.
Effect of the Invention
[0013] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a calendar support that has fewer inconveniences compared to the prior art and is applicable to any hanging-type calendar.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[0015] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings. Although not particularly limited, in this embodiment, the present invention is embodied by an example applied to the support of a stitched calendar in which a plurality of printed materials constituting calendar sheets are stacked, folded in half from the center, and the folded portion is stitched with a wire or the like. FIG. 1 is a front view showing an example of a calendar support in an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a plan view showing an example of a calendar support in an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is a rear view showing an example of a calendar support in an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4 is a side view showing an example of a calendar support in an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5 is a longitudinal sectional view taken along line A-A shown in FIG. 1. FIG. 6 is a longitudinal sectional view taken along line B-B shown in FIG. 1. FIG. 7 is a front view showing an example of the use of a calendar support in an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 8 is a side view showing an example of the use of a calendar support in an embodiment of the present invention. Note that each figure is a schematic diagram and does not strictly represent the dimensions of each part.
[0016] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 8, the calendar support 10 includes a base 1, a back-side regulating portion 2, a through groove 3, and a front-side regulating portion 4. The calendar support 10 is used with the upper end of a hanging-type calendar 20 (calendar sheet 21) having one or a plurality of calendar sheets 21 positioned upward between the back-side regulating portion 2 and the front-side regulating portion 4. In this state, by inserting a support member 31 such as a hook attached to a wall W or the like into a hanging hole 22 provided at the center near the upper end of the calendar 20 and the through groove 3, the calendar 20 can be hung on the wall W or the like.
[0017] The base 1 abuts against the upper end of the calendar 20 (calendar piece 21) in the above-described hanging form. Although not particularly limited, in this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, the base 1 is constituted by a plate-like member. In FIG. 7, a state is exemplified in which the length of the base 1 in the left-right direction (the longitudinal direction of the base 1) in the front view of the calendar 20 in the hanging state is longer than the length of the calendar 20. However, the length of the base 1 in the longitudinal direction may be equal to the length of the calendar 20 or may be shorter than the length of the calendar 20. Although not particularly limited, in this embodiment, the length of the base 1 in the longitudinal direction is set to about 350 mm.
[0018] For example, when one month's worth of dates is published on the open page of the calendar 20, when posting the next month, in the type where the calendar piece is rolled upward, when posting December on the open page, and in the type where the calendar piece is rolled downward when posting the next month, when posting January on the open page, 12 calendar pieces 21 will be located above the calendar 20. Also, when two months' worth of dates are published on the open page of the calendar 20, when posting the next month, in the type where the calendar piece is rolled upward, when posting November and December on the open page, and in the type where the calendar piece is rolled downward when posting the next month, when posting January and February on the open page, 6 calendar pieces 21 will be located above the calendar 20. Therefore, the length of the base 1 in the direction orthogonal to the calendar piece 21 (the short hand direction of the base 1) is preferably a length that can accommodate about 12 calendar pieces 21. Specifically, it is preferably about 3-5 mm wide.
[0019] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 8, the back side regulating portion 2 protrudes from the base 1 to the back side of the calendar 20 and regulates the movement of the calendar piece 21 in the back side direction. In this embodiment, the back side regulating portion 2 is constituted by a rectangular plate-like member that extends from one end in the short hand direction of the base 1 in a direction perpendicular to the base 1 over the entire longitudinal direction of the base 1. The extension length of the back side regulating portion 2 is not particularly limited as long as it is a length in which the through groove 3 described in detail below can be formed.
[0020] As shown in FIGS. 1, 3, and 5, the through groove 3 is provided along the vertical direction at the center in the left-right direction of the back surface side regulating portion 2. As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the calendar 20 is arranged in a state where the suspension hole 22 provided at the center near the upper end of the calendar 20 overlaps with the through groove 3. The position of the suspension hole 22 of the calendar 20, that is, the distance from the upper end of the calendar piece 21, may be different for each calendar. However, by providing the groove-shaped through groove 3 along the vertical direction as in the present invention, even when the position of the suspension hole 22 in the calendar 20 is different, that is, even when the distance between the support member 31 such as a hook attached to the wall W or the like and the upper end of the calendar 20 (calendar piece 21) is different, the upper end of the calendar 20 (calendar piece 21) can be surely brought into contact with the base 1. In this example, a long hole having a vertical length of about 20 mm is provided as the through groove 3 in the back surface side regulating portion 2. It should be noted that it is not essential for the through groove 3 to be a long hole, and it may be formed in a state where the lower part divides the back surface side regulating portion 2 over the lower end of the back surface side regulating portion 2. Also, here, the upper end of the through groove 3 is arranged at a position separated from the base 1 by a predetermined distance (about 10 mm), but the upper end of the through groove 3 may reach the base 1.
[0021] As shown in FIGS. 1, 5, 6, and 7, the surface-side regulating portion 4 projects from the base portion 1 to the surface side of the calendar 20 in a state where the protruding amount gradually increases from the central portion in the left-right direction of the base portion 1 toward the end portion, and regulates the movement of the calendar piece 21 in the surface direction. In the present embodiment, the surface-side regulating portion 4 is constituted by a plate-like member extending in a direction perpendicular to the base portion 1 from the other end in the short-side direction of the base portion 1. Further, although the surface-side regulating portion 4 may be provided over the entire length in the longitudinal direction of the base portion 1, in the present embodiment, the surface-side regulating portion 4 is provided on both sides in the longitudinal direction of the base portion 1 at a predetermined interval provided in the central portion in the left-right direction of the base portion 1. Although not particularly limited, in the present embodiment, the surface-side regulating portion 4 has a right-angled triangular shape in a front view, and an interval having a length of about 1 / 5 of the longitudinal length of the base portion 1 is provided between the left and right surface-side regulating portions 4. Further, it is more preferable that the lower end of the surface-side regulating portion 4 has an end surface processed into a curved surface. Note that it is not essential to provide an interval between the left and right surface-side regulating portions 4, and the apexes on the central side of the base portion 1 of the left and right triangular surface-side regulating portions 4 may be arranged at the central portion of the base portion 1. Further, the extension length of the surface-side regulating portion 4 is not particularly limited. Here, the extension length at the left and right ends of the base portion 1 is about 10 mm.
[0022] Note that although not particularly limited, in the present embodiment, the above-described base portion 1, the back-surface-side regulating portion 2, and the surface-side regulating portion 4 are constituted by a single plate-like member bent into a U-shaped cross section. Further, the material of the plate-like member is not particularly limited. Any known material such as a metal such as aluminum, a resin, or paper can be adopted.
[0023] As described above, with the calendar support device 10, both sides of the upper part of the rolled-up calendar piece 21 are supported by the front-side regulating portion 4, so that the calendar piece 21 can be prevented from drooping towards the front side. Also, since the front-side regulating portion 4 is configured so that its vertical width gradually increases from the center toward both ends, the calendar piece 21 can be easily supported by the front-side regulating portion 4 by hanging the hanging hole 22 of the rolled-up calendar piece 21 on a hook or the like exposed through the through groove 3 and pushing the upper part of the calendar piece 21 apart in the left-right direction from the center. Since the obverse side regulating parts 4 are small or nonexistent in the portion, the design exposed on the front side of the turned-up calendar piece 21 is not obscured and hidden, as compared with the conventional case. Also, since the obverse side regulating parts 4 are provided in a certain range on both sides of the calendar holder 10, even if the width of the calendar is smaller than the width of the calendar holder 10, the calendar piece 21 can be prevented from drooping to the front side.
[0024] In the above embodiment, the shape of the front side regulating portion 4 in front view is a right-angled triangle, but the shape of the front side regulating portion 4 may be any shape as long as the protruding amount gradually increases from the center of the base 1 in the left-right direction toward the end. For example, as shown in FIG. 9(a), a step-like shape in which the protruding amount gradually increases from the center of the base 1 in the left-right direction toward the end, as shown in FIG. 9(b), a shape having a curved concave shape that is concave upward and the protruding amount gradually increases from the center of the base 1 in the left-right direction toward the end, as shown in FIG. 9(c), or a shape having a curved convex shape that protrudes downward and the protruding amount gradually increases from the center of the base 1 in the left-right direction toward the end, as shown in FIG. 9(c), may be adopted. Note that only the front side regulating portion 4 located on the left side in front view is illustrated in FIG. 9(a) to FIG. 9(c).
[0025] As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a calendar support device which has fewer inconveniences than the conventional device and which can be applied to any hanging calendar.
[0026] Note that the above-described embodiments do not limit the technical scope of the present invention, and various modifications and applications are possible within the scope of the present invention even other than those already described. For example, in the above-described embodiment, the back-side restricting portion 2 is constituted by a single rectangular plate-like member, but the shape of the back-side restricting portion 2 is arbitrary as long as the through groove 3 can be formed and the movement of the calendar 20 to the back side can be restricted. For example, it is also possible to adopt a polygonal shape other than a quadrangle, a semi-circular shape, etc. as the shape of the back-side restricting portion 2. Further, the back-side restricting portion 2 may be constituted by a plurality of plate-like members divided in the longitudinal direction of the base portion 1.
[0027] Also, in the above-described embodiment, the case applied to the saddle-stitched calendar has been described, but it can be applied to any hanging type calendar such as a ring-stitched calendar in which a plurality of printed matters constituting the calendar pieces are stacked, one end is stitched with a ring-shaped member, and each calendar piece can be folded back up and down.
Industrial Applicability
[0028] According to the present invention, there are fewer inconveniences compared to the prior art, and it can be applied to any hanging type calendar and is useful as a calendar support.
