Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a roller attachment kit for attaching a sheet having protrusions to a roller. [Background technology]

[0002] Sheets with protrusions such as microneedles are known to have the effect of stimulating the skin and promoting skin penetration of cosmetic active ingredients. There are devices that use such protrusion-equipped sheets by removably attaching them to rollers, and the devices are excellent in portability and handling. Various technologies have been developed regarding such protrusion-equipped sheets. For example, Patent Document 1 describes a kit technology including a sheet with microneedles, which are a type of protrusion, and an applicator to which the microneedle sheet can be attached. In the kit, the microneedle sheet is stored in a container with a porous sheet, with the microneedle arrangement surface facing down. The porous sheet is arranged as a protective material for the microneedles. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2020-099513 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0004] As in the kit described in Patent Document 1, when the protrusions of the microneedle sheet or the like are stored in a container, the protrusions are placed in contact with a protective material such as a porous sheet in the container. In this state, the surface of the roller may be pressed against the surface of the sheet opposite to the surface on which the protrusions are arranged to attach the sheet. In this case, the porous sheet acts as a buffer material to prevent the microneedles from being crushed. However, since the protrusions such as microneedles are parts that can touch the skin and puncture into the stratum corneum, it is desirable not to let them come into contact with anything other than the skin before use. Therefore, it is desirable to omit the protective material that the protrusions come into contact with from a hygienic standpoint. On the other hand, if the protective material is omitted, the protection for maintaining the shape of the protrusions will be insufficient. As described above, it is difficult to simultaneously keep the protrusions hygienic and prevent damage to the protrusions, and there is room for improvement in this regard.

[0005] In view of the above, the present invention relates to a kit for attaching a sheet with protrusions to a roller, which can keep the protrusions on the sheet hygienic and enable the sheet to be securely attached to a roller while minimizing damage to the protrusions. [Means for solving the problem]

[0006] The present invention provides a kit for roller attachment of a sheet with protrusions, the kit comprising: a sheet having a protrusion region having a plurality of protrusions and a base region where the protrusions are not arranged; and a sheet holder having a gap and support portions supporting the base region of the sheet on both sides of the gap, wherein the protrusions of the protrusion region are arranged within the gap leaving a space between them and the bottom of the gap, and wherein a roller can be pressed against the sheet from the side opposite the gap to attach the roller to the sheet. Effect of the Invention

[0007] The kit of the present invention for attaching a protruding sheet to a roller can keep the protrusions on the sheet hygienic, and can ensure reliable attachment to a roller while minimizing damage to the protrusions. [Brief description of the drawings]

[Diagram 3] FIG. 2 is a front view showing a preferred embodiment of the roller. [Figure 4] 1 is a partial cross-sectional side view showing a preferred example of a method for producing roller-type protrusions using a kit for roller-attaching a protrusion-equipped sheet. FIG. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0009] Hereinafter, a preferred example of the kit for attaching the protrusion-formed sheet to a roller of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.

[0010] As shown in Fig. 1, a kit 10 for attaching a protruding sheet to a roller (hereinafter, simply referred to as kit 10) of this embodiment includes a set of a sheet 14 having protrusions 11 and a sheet holder 19. The sheet 14 is stored in the sheet holder 19.

[0011] The sheet 14 includes a protrusion region 12 having a plurality of protrusions 11 arranged thereon, and a base region 13 having no protrusions 11 arranged thereon. The sheet 14 has a sheet-like substrate 15 arranged across the protrusion region 12 and the base region 13. The protrusion region 12 has a layered structure in which a plurality of protrusions 11 are arranged on the substrate 15. On the other hand, the base region 13 is a region consisting only of the substrate 15. In the protrusion region 12, the protrusions 11 are preferably arranged at equal intervals vertically and horizontally on the surface of the substrate.

[0012] The surface of sheet 14 on which protrusions 11 are arranged is referred to as front surface 14S, and the opposite surface is referred to as back surface 14R. Sheet 14 has width direction X along the axial direction of rollers 21 described below, and longitudinal direction Y perpendicular to width direction X. Furthermore, sheet holder 19 has width direction X and longitudinal direction Y in accordance with sheet 14.

[0013] Various materials can be used for the substrate 15. For example, from the viewpoint of facilitating winding around a roller and suppressing bending of the sheet, a polylactic acid (hereinafter also referred to as PLA) film, a polyethylene terephthalate (hereinafter also referred to as PET) film, etc. are preferred. From the viewpoint of suppressing bending of the sheet, the thickness is preferably 100 μm or more. Moreover, from the viewpoint of facilitating winding around a roller, the thickness of the substrate 15 is preferably 500 μm or less.

[0014] The protrusions 11 have a spire-like, e.g., needle-like, shape that can pierce the keratin of the skin of various parts of the human body, such as the cheeks and lips of the face. For example, a cone shape with a circular or elliptical base, a pyramid shape with a rectangular or polygonal base, etc. may be mentioned. The cross section of the protrusions 11 may have various geometric shapes such as a circle or a polygon.

[0015] The height H of the protrusions 11 from the surface of the substrate 15 can be set appropriately and arbitrarily depending on the purpose of use. For example, the height H of the protrusions 11 is preferably 10 μm or more, more preferably 50 μm or more, and even more preferably 100 μm or more. Moreover, the height H of the protrusions 11 is preferably 1000 μm or less, more preferably 750 μm or less, and even more preferably 500 μm or less.

[0016] The density of the protrusions 11 in the protrusion region 12 is set to 100 / cm from the viewpoint of making it easy to efficiently puncture a plurality of protrusions even if the overall area of the sheet is small. 2 More than 200 fibers / cm is preferable. 2 The density is more preferably 2000 / cm or more, from the viewpoint of preventing the tip of the protrusion region from coming into surface contact with the skin when puncturing due to an increase in the number of protrusions, and thus preventing the puncturing effect from being hindered. 2 Less than 1000 fibers / cm is preferable. 2 Less than 500 fibers / cm is more preferable. 2 The following is even more preferred:

[0017] The distance between the tips of the protrusions 11 in the protrusion region 12 is preferably 10 μm or more, more preferably 30 μm or more, and even more preferably 50 μm or more, from the viewpoint of preventing the puncturing effect from being hindered by the increase in the number of protrusions causing the tips of the protrusion region to come into surface contact with the skin when puncturing, as described above. Also, the distance between the tips is preferably 1000 μm or less, more preferably 800 μm or less, and even more preferably 600 μm or less, from the viewpoint of making it easy to puncture multiple protrusions efficiently even if the overall area of the sheet is small, as described above.

[0018] Various materials can be used for the protrusions 11 depending on the purpose. For example, from the viewpoint of suppressing bending of the sheet by reducing the weight, PLA, PET, hyaluronic acid, etc. are preferable. The protrusions 11 may also contain a cosmetic active ingredient. Examples of the cosmetic active ingredient include various commonly used ingredients, such as whitening agents, antioxidants, cleaning agents, anti-aging agents, skin texture treatment agents, etc. Such protrusions 11 may be soluble or insoluble. From the viewpoint of the above-mentioned cosmetic effect, it is preferable that the protrusions 11 are soluble. This solubility means that they can be destroyed or disintegrated inside the keratinous material of the skin, for example, by natural moisturizing factors or external moisture.

[0019] The sheet holder 19 has, in the width direction X, a gap 16 and a pair of support parts 17, 18 that support the base region 13 of the sheet 14 on both sides of the gap 16. The support parts 17, 18 are connected to the gap bottom 16B and stand toward the opening side of the sheet holder 19. The support parts 17, 18 and the gap bottom 16B may be molded as a single unit, or may be formed by joining separate members. In the sheet holder 19, the sheet 14 is stored with the surface 14S on which the protrusions 11 are arranged facing down, i.e., with the protrusions 11 facing the gap 16. More specifically, in the width direction X, the surface 14S of the protrusion region 12 of the sheet 14 is stored in the gap 16, and the sheet ends 14A and 14B in the base region 13 on both sides of the protrusion region 12 are supported by the supports 17, 18. At this time, the protrusions 11 of the protrusion region 12 of the sheet 14 are arranged facing into the gap 16, leaving a space 20 between the protrusions 11 and the gap bottom 16B.

[0020] In the kit 10, it is preferable that no adhesive or the like is provided for fixing on the surfaces 14S of the both ends 14A, 14B of the sheet 14 having the basal region 13. This allows the projections 11 to satisfactorily exert the desired effect on the skin without giving the user a sense of discomfort even if the both ends 14A, 14B come into contact with the skin when the sheet 14 is attached to a roller 21 (see FIG. 2) and pressed against the skin.

[0021] Various materials can be used for the support parts 17 and 18. For example, polystyrene resin, polypropylene resin, PET resin, etc. are preferable from the viewpoint of moldability as a container.

[0022] In the kit 10, the sheet 14 preferably has a cantilever measurement value (bending resistance) of 70 mm or more. Such a sheet 14 has an appropriate rigidity capable of suppressing the occurrence of bending. Therefore, when the sheet 14 is placed in the sheet holder 19 as described above, it can be stored while leaving the above-mentioned space 20 in a good condition. From this viewpoint, the bending resistance of the sheet 14 is more preferably 50 mm or more, and further preferably 70 mm or more. The upper limit of the bending resistance is not particularly limited, but from the viewpoint of facilitating winding around the roller 21, it is preferably 200 mm or less. The bending resistance is measured by measuring the deflection of the sample due to its own weight, and a measurement method conforming to ISO standard 9073-7 can be used as a cantilever measurement. The bending resistance can be measured using a bending resistance tester (manufactured by Daiei Scientific Instruments Co., Ltd., model: CAN-1MCC).

[0023] In sheet holder 19, depth D of gap 16 from support surface 17A, 18A to the surface of gap bottom 16B is set taking into consideration height H of protrusion 11, and is preferably deeper than height H of protrusion 11. In this case, height H of protrusion 11 is preferably determined based on a planned maximum value. For example, from the viewpoint of preventing protrusions 11 from contacting gap bottom 16B when sheet 14 is attached to roller 21, and from the viewpoint of preventing protrusions 11 from contacting gap bottom 16B even when sheet 14 is slightly bent, depth D of gap 16 is preferably 1.1 times or more, more preferably 1.5 times or more, and even more preferably 2 times or more, the height H of protrusions 11. Furthermore, from the viewpoint of portability as a kit, depth D of gap 16 is preferably 30 times or less, more preferably 20 times or less, and even more preferably 10 times or less, the height H of protrusions 11.

[0024] The width WA of gap 16 of sheet holder 19 (length in width direction X, the distance between support portions 17, 18) is set according to the width of protruding region 12 of sheet 14 (length in width direction X). Therefore, it is preferable that the ratio (WA / WS) of the width WA of the gap 16 of the sheet holder 19 to the width WS (length in the width direction X) of the sheet 14 is as follows: That is, from the viewpoint of ensuring a sufficient arrangement area for the protrusions 11 in the protrusion region 12, the ratio (WA / WS) is preferably 0.6 or more, and more preferably 0.8 or more. Also, from the viewpoint of suppressing bending of the sheet 14 stored in the kit 10, the ratio (WA / WS) is preferably 0.95 or less, and more preferably 0.92 or less. The above ratio (WA / WS) corresponds to the ratio of the width WS of the sheet 14 to the width of the protrusion region 12.

[0025] 2, it is preferable that the width WA of the gap 16 of the sheet holder 19 is shorter than the axial length WR of the roller 21. This allows the roller 21 to roll on the supports 17, 18 without coming off when the sheet 14 is attached to the surface of the roller 21. The axial length WR of the roller 21 is basically equal to or less than the width WA of the sheet 14, and is preferably set with a slight margin as shown in Fig. 2, i.e., less than WA. When the axial length WR of the roller 21 is set with a margin, the ratio (WA / WR) of the width WA of the gap 16 to the axial length WR of the roller 21 is preferably 0.6 or more, more preferably 0.8 or more, from the viewpoint of easily attaching the roller and the sheet by taking a sufficient specified area. The ratio (WA / WR) is preferably 0.95 or less, more preferably 0.92 or less, from the viewpoint of easily piercing the protrusion at the desired position by attaching the sheet to almost the entire surface of the roller, and being aware of the rolling of the WR width when piercing.

[0026] The sheet holder 19 preferably has guide portions 23, 24 for guiding the rolling direction of the roller 21 outward in the width direction X of each of the support portions 17, 18. The guide portions 23, 24 are disposed adjacent to the support portions 17, 18, and are higher by a height HG than the height of the support portions 17, 18 (corresponding to the depth D of the gap portion 16). The support portions 17, 18, the guide portions 23, 24, and the gap portion bottom portion 16B may be integrally molded or may be separately formed. In particular, the material of the guide portions 23, 24 is preferably a material with a smooth surface that allows the roller 21 to roll smoothly, such as resin, metal, etc. From the viewpoint of successfully guiding the rolling direction of the roller 21, the guide portions 23, 24 are preferably rail-shaped extending in the rolling direction. When the guide portions are rail-shaped, not only the guide portions may extend continuously, but also a plurality of discontinuous guide portions may be arranged to guide the roller 21 in a substantially rail-like manner.

[0027] It is preferable that the distance DG (length in the width direction X) between the guide portions 23, 24 is equal to or greater than the axial length WR of the roller 21, and is a width that allows the roller 21 to stably roll on the back surface 14R of the sheet 14. For example, it is preferable that the distance DG is slightly longer than the axial length WR of the roller 21, i.e., exceeds WR. It is also preferable that the distance DG is slightly longer than the width WS of the sheet 14. In this case, for example, it is preferable to set the difference (DG-WR) between the distance DG between the guide portions 23, 24 and the axial length WR of the roller 21 in the range of 0 mm or more and 1 mm or less. The ratio (WA / DG) of the width WA of the gap 16 to the distance DG (length in the width direction X) between the guide parts 23, 24 is preferably 0.6 or more, more preferably 0.8 or more, from the viewpoint of obtaining dimensions that make it easy to successfully apply the sheet even if the user's hand is misaligned when applying the sheet to the roller, and the ratio (WA / DG) is preferably 0.95 or less, more preferably 0.92 or less, from the viewpoint of easily achieving application of the sheet over the entire axial length WR of the roller 21 and preventing difficulty in rolling due to dimensional tolerances.

[0028] Furthermore, for example, when the width WS of sheet 14 is 20 mm or less, the widthwise length ((DG-WA) / 2) of each of supporting portions 17, 18 supporting sheet 14 is preferably 0.5 mm or more and 5 mm or less, more preferably 0.7 mm or more and 3 mm or less, and even more preferably 1 mm or more and 2 mm or less. Note that when the width WS of sheet 14 is longer than 20 mm, in order to stably place sheet 14, it is preferable that the widthwise length ((DG-WA) / 2) supporting sheet 14 is longer than the above length. For example, each of supporting portions 17, 18 may have a length of about 5% to 15% of the sheet width.

[0029] It is preferable that the height HG of the guide parts 23, 24 above the support part surfaces 17A, 18A is a height that does not interfere with the rolling of the roller 21. For example, the height HG is preferably equal to or less than [roller radius] - [roller shaft radius], and more preferably less than [roller radius] - [roller shaft radius].

[0030] By providing the above-mentioned guide parts 23 and 24, when the roller 21 is rolled on the back surface 14R of the sheet 14, the roller 21 can be prevented from rolling in a meandering manner. That is, the roller 21 can be stably rolled along the guide parts 23 and 24. This allows the width direction X of the sheet 14 and the axial direction of the roller 21 to be aligned, and the sheet 14 can be better attached to the roller surface 21S. In addition, it is possible to prevent the roller 21 from moving off the support parts 17 and 18 and accidentally pushing the protruding region 12 of the sheet 14 strongly toward the gap part 16 with the corners of the roller 21. As a result, the sheet 14 can be accurately and smoothly stretched on the roller surface 21S simply by rolling the roller 21 along the guide parts 23 and 24.

[0031] The back surface 14R of the sheet 14 and the front surface 21S of the roller 21 are preferably attached using a peelable adhesive, and a layer of the adhesive (hereinafter referred to as the adhesive layer) is preferably disposed on either the back surface 14R of the sheet 14 or the front surface 21S of the roller 21. From the viewpoint of being able to replace sheet 14 and use roller 21 repeatedly, it is preferable that an adhesive layer (not shown) be provided on back surface 14R of sheet 14, i.e., the surface opposite to the surface on which protrusions 11 are provided.

[0032] Kit 10 is configured so that roller 21 can be pressed against sheet 14 from the side opposite gap 16, which is surface 14S, to attach roller 21 and sheet 14. At this time, protrusion 11 is configured not to come into contact with gap bottom 16B, leaving space 20 in gap 16. Base region 13 of sheet 14 is disposed on support portions 17, 18, and the pressing of roller 21 during the above attachment prevents sheet 14 from shifting or bending. This makes it easier to ensure space 20 even during the attachment stage, and makes it possible to prevent protrusion 11 from coming into contact with gap bottom 16B. Therefore, damage to the protrusions 11 can be suppressed and the sheet 14 can be properly attached to the roller surface 21S. Furthermore, since the protrusions 11 do not come into contact with other objects when the sheet 14 is attached, the protrusions 11 of the sheet 14 can be kept clean and hygienic. Furthermore, since the space 20 is secured, there is no need to use a protective material to protect the protrusions 11, which allows costs to be reduced.

[0033] Next, the roller-type protrusion providing kit will be described. The roller-type protrusion providing kit includes the above-mentioned kit 10 for roller-attaching the protrusion-equipped sheet, and a roller rolling device 31 having a roller 21 arranged so as to be freely rollable. The roller rolling tool 31 preferably has a handle 32 that can be held by hand. Being able to be held by hand means that the shape and dimensions of the tool allow the user to hold the tool by hand and roll the roller.

[0034] An example of the roller rolling device 31 is shown in FIG. 3. The roller rolling device 31 shown in FIG. 3 preferably has a roller 21 and a roller shaft 25 that allows the roller 21 to roll freely. It further preferably includes roller support parts 33A and 33B that support both ends of the roller shaft 25, a support arm 34 that connects the roller support parts 33A and 33B, and a handle part 32 that extends from the support arm 34 in a direction perpendicular to the roller shaft 25 and can be held by hand. The configuration for attaching the roller 21 to the roller shaft 25 so that the roller 21 can roll freely can be appropriately applied to various configurations that can be normally adopted. For example, a bearing may be disposed between the roller 21 and the roller shaft 25. The bearing allows the roller 21 to roll without coming off the roller shaft 25.

[0035] In the roller rolling device 31 shown in FIG. 3, the roller 21 can be moved while rolling by pushing the handle portion 32 along the extending direction thereof, that is, in a direction perpendicular to the roller shaft 25. Specifically, in the above-mentioned kit 10, while gripping the handle 32 of the roller rolling tool 31 by hand, the roller 21 is rolled on the support parts 17, 18 along the guide parts 23, 24 (see FIG. 2) via the sheet 14. This allows the sheet 14 to be attached to the roller 21 by the same operating method as when the roller rolling tool 31A is applied to the skin.

[0036] Next, a method for manufacturing the roller-type protrusion will be described below with reference to FIGS. The roller 21 is pressed against the kit 10 for roller-attaching a sheet with protrusions and rolled to attach the sheet 14 to the roller 21, thereby producing roller-type protrusions. Specifically, this is done as follows. First, in a kit 10 for attaching a sheet with protrusions to a roller, base regions 13, 13 of a sheet 14 are disposed and supported on supports 17, 18 in a sheet holder 19, as shown in Fig. 2. As shown in Fig. 4, the longitudinal direction Y of the sheet 14 is stored in the sheet holder 19 along the longitudinal direction Y. The length of the sheet 14 is preferably set to the circumferential length of the roller 21. The roller 21 is pressed against the back surface 14R of the sheet 14 in the direction of arrow B as shown in Fig. 4, with the width direction X of the sheet 14 and the axial direction of the roller 21 aligned as shown in Fig. 2. At this time, the base regions 13, 13 of the sheet 14 are clamped between the support portions 17, 18 of the sheet holder 19 and the roller 21, and the position is fixed. Next, the roller 21 pressed in the direction of arrow B is rolled in the direction of arrow C along the guides 23, 24 to attach the sheet 14 to the roller surface 21S. This results in a roller-type protrusion. At this time, the roller 21 can be rolled by gripping the handle 32 of the roller rolling tool 31 with the hand. This allows the roller-type protrusion to be manufactured smoothly by the same operating method as when the roller rolling tool 31 is applied to the skin. Note that the width, height, etc. of the protrusion 11 are shown slightly exaggerated in the drawings for ease of explanation.

[0037] The roller-type protrusions (roller rolling device 31 with sheet 14 attached to roller surface 21S) manufactured as described above can be used for various purposes. For example, they can be suitably used for attaching a cosmetic sheet that allows beauty essence to be absorbed transdermally through the protrusions, attaching a vaccination sheet that allows a vaccine to be administered into the skin through the protrusions, attaching a medical sheet (for example, a skin medicine (e.g., medicine for eczema, dermatitis, etc.), an anti-inflammatory analgesic (e.g., a poultice)) that allows a medicine to be absorbed transdermally through the protrusions, etc. EXAMPLES

[0038] The present invention will be described in more detail below with reference to examples, but the present invention is not limited to these examples.

[0039] Example 1 Cantilever measurements were performed in accordance with ISO standard 9073-7. The test machine described above was used. A PLA film 250 mm long, 25 mm wide, and 100 μm thick was used as the test piece, and bending resistance was measured using the test machine described above. The film was then cut into a length of 30 mm and a width of 56 mm. This film was placed on a concave sheet holder with a gap width WA of 50 mm and a gap depth D of 1 mm. The condition after 30 seconds in the placed state was checked, and if the test piece was not seen to be in contact with the floor surface of the sheet holder, it was rated as "passed", and if it was, it was rated as "no". Example 2 Measurements were carried out in the same manner as in Example 1, except that the sheet material was a PET film and the thickness was 200 μm.

[0040] Comparative Example 1 Measurements were carried out in the same manner as in Example 1, except that the material of the sheet was a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) film and the thickness was 60 μm.

[0041] The results of the above measurements are shown in Table 1 below.

[0042] [Table 1]

[0043] The above results show that the sheet of Example 1 had a cantilever measurement value of 70 mm, and exhibited sufficient flexural strength compared to Comparative Example 1. In addition, the suitability of the flexural strength was judged based on the state of the sheet when placed on the concave sheet holder, with those test pieces that did not come into contact with the floor surface of the sheet holder support stand being rated "suitable" and those that did come into contact being rated "not suitable." It was found that the sheets of Examples 1 and 2 are less likely to warp when used in a kit for attaching a sheet with protrusions to a roller for cosmetic purposes to the skin, can be kept hygienic, and can be attached to a roller with minimal damage to the protrusions.
