Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a part having a screw boss and an assembly structure including the part. [Background technology]
[0002] It has been known that when a screw is used to fix a panel, cover, etc. to a housing of an electronic device, etc., a part for preventing the screw from falling off is used (Patent Document 1). For example, Patent Document 1 describes a grip screw inserted into a hole drilled in a panel and a screw plate attached to the neck of the grip screw. Specifically, the screw attachment structure of Patent Document 1 is configured such that a screw plate is screwed into a screw portion inserted into a hole in the panel, the screw plate is fitted into a neck portion having a smaller diameter than the screw portion, and in this state, the screw portion is screwed into a screw hole in the housing to fix the panel to the housing. This prevents the grip screw inserted into the hole in the panel from falling off from the panel even when the grip screw is removed from the housing and the panel and the housing are separated (see FIG. 1). [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 59-169081 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] However, in the screw mounting structure described in the above Patent Document 1, a screw plate is prepared as a member for preventing the grip screw from falling off, separate from the panel, the housing, and the grip screw. Therefore, during the assembly work of fixing the panel to the housing, the work of attaching the screw plate to the grip screw is required, which may increase the number of work steps. In addition, the screw plate may fall off during the work, which may reduce the workability of the assembly work of fixing the panel to the housing. Furthermore, since it is necessary to manufacture the screw plate alone, there is a risk of increasing the manufacturing cost.
[0005] The present invention has been made in consideration of these problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a part having a screw boss that can improve assembly workability and reduce manufacturing costs, and an assembly structure including the part. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] In order to achieve the above object, the part according to the present invention is a part to which an adherend is attached using a screw, and includes an attachment portion including a flat bottom wall portion, a body portion standing upward from the bottom wall portion like a pillar and having an upper surface facing upward, a screw boss including a screw hole drilled downward from the upper surface in the body portion and into which the screw is screwed, and a first protrusion protruding upward from the upper surface of the body portion, a flat base portion having a lower surface facing the upper surface of the body portion, and a screw boss extending in the vertical direction from the base so as to communicate with the screw hole. and a screw plate including a through hole through which the screw is inserted, and a second protrusion protruding downward from the lower surface of the base and formed integrally with the first protrusion, wherein the tip portions of the first protrusion and the second protrusion are formed weaker than the root portions of the first protrusion and the second protrusion so that the first protrusion and the second protrusion are broken by a tightening force applied when the screw is screwed into the screw hole with the adherend in contact with the base of the screw plate.
[0007] Furthermore, the assembly structure of the present invention comprises the above-mentioned part, an adherend including a flat top plate portion facing the bottom wall portion of the mounting portion, and an insertion hole penetrating the top plate portion in the vertical direction so as to communicate with the through hole of the screw plate, and through which the screw is inserted, and a screw that is inserted into the insertion hole of the adherend and the through hole of the screw plate and is screwed into the screw hole of the screw boss to attach the adherend to the part, and is characterized in that when the adherend is attached to the part, the first protrusion and the second protrusion are broken. Effect of the Invention
[0008] As described above, according to the part of the present invention, the first protrusion of the screw boss and the second protrusion of the screw plate are integrally formed. The tip of each of the first protrusion and the second protrusion is formed weaker than the base of each of the first protrusion and the second protrusion so that the first protrusion and the second protrusion are broken by the fastening force when the screw is screwed into the screw hole with the adherend in contact with the base of the screw plate. In this way, in the part of the present invention, the screw plate is integrally formed with the screw boss in advance. That is, when the screw plate is inserted into the screw during the assembly work of attaching the adherend to the part, and the screw is screwed into the screw hole with the adherend in contact with the base of the screw plate, the first protrusion and the second protrusion are broken by the fastening force. Furthermore, according to the assembly structure of the present invention, the first protrusion and the second protrusion are broken when the adherend is attached to the part. Therefore, a separate work for attaching the screw plate to the screw is not required, and the work man-hours can be reduced. In addition, the screw plate is prevented from falling off during the assembly work, and the workability of the assembly work of fixing the adherend to the part can be improved. Furthermore, since there is no need to manufacture the screw plate alone, the manufacturing cost can be reduced. Therefore, it is possible to provide a part having a screw boss that can improve the assembly workability and reduce the manufacturing cost, and an assembled structure including the part. [Figure 6] FIG. 6 is a side view showing a modification of the assembly structure according to the embodiment, with a portion shown in cross section. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0010] A rack 10 (component) according to an embodiment will be described below. A panel 70 (adherend) is attached to the rack 10 using screws 90, which will be described later. Note that the component and the adherend are not limited to the rack 10 and the panel 70, as long as they are assembled using the screws 90. Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the rack 10 according to an embodiment, with a portion shown in cross section.
[0011] For ease of explanation, the extending direction of the screw boss 30 described below is defined as the up-down direction. Specifically, as shown in Fig. 1, in the screw boss 30, the side that is coupled to the bottom wall portion 21 is defined as the lower side, and the side that is coupled to the screw plate 40 is defined as the upper side. Furthermore, the left-right direction and the front-rear direction are defined with the cross-sectional portion of Fig. 1 viewed from the front. Hereinafter, "upper", "lower", "front", "rear", "left" and "right" shown in each figure are all based on the above definitions.
[0012] 1, the rack 10 includes a housing 20 (mounting portion), a screw boss 30, and a screw plate 40. The rack 10 is, for example, entirely made of a synthetic resin material.
[0013] As shown in FIG. 1, the housing 20 is configured to include a flat bottom wall 21, a right side wall 22, a left side wall 23, a rear wall 24, and a front wall (not shown), and is open upward. The bottom wall 21 is formed in a rectangular shape in a plan view. The right side wall 22, the left side wall 23, the rear wall 24, and the front wall (not shown) are flat parts that stand upward from the right edge, the left edge, the rear edge, and the front edge of the bottom wall 21, respectively, and are arranged to surround the periphery of the bottom wall 21. In the housing 20, the bottom wall 21, the right side wall 22, the left side wall 23, the rear wall 24, and the front wall (not shown) are formed to include a bottom upper surface 21a, a right upper surface 22a, a left upper surface 23a, a rear upper surface 24a, and a front upper surface (not shown), which are surfaces facing upward.
[0014] As shown in FIG. 1, the screw boss 30 includes a body portion 31, a screw hole (not shown), and a lower break portion 33 (first protrusion). The body portion 31 stands in a columnar shape upward from the bottom upper surface 21a of the bottom wall portion 21. Specifically, the body portion 31 is a cylindrical member integrally formed with the bottom upper surface 21a, and has a body portion upper surface 32 (upper surface) facing upward at the upper end portion. The screw hole of the screw boss 30 is drilled downward from the body portion upper surface 32 in the body portion 31, and a screw 90 described later is screwed into the screw hole. A female thread is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the screw hole.
[0015] As shown in FIG. 1, the lower breakage portion 33 protrudes upward from the upper surface 32 of the body 31. Specifically, the lower breakage portion 33 is a portion integrally formed with the upper surface 32 of the body. The lower breakage portion 33 includes a lower root portion 33b (root portion) that contacts the upper surface 32 of the body and a lower tip portion 33a (tip portion) that is located above the lower root portion 33b, and is formed so that the thickness gradually decreases from the lower root portion 33b to the lower tip portion 33a. Specifically, the lower breakage portion 33 is formed so that the thickness of the lower tip portion 33a is thinner than the thickness of the lower root portion 33b. A plurality of lower breakage portions 33 are provided on the upper surface 32 of the body at intervals in the circumferential direction, and extend radially from the outside of the screw hole. In the drawings, for ease of viewing, only one of the lower breakage portions 33 is labeled with a reference symbol.
[0016] As shown in FIG. 1, the screw plate 40 includes a base 41, a through hole 43, and an upper break portion 45 (second protrusion). The base 41 is a flat disk-shaped member having a base lower surface 41a (lower surface) facing the body upper surface 32 of the body 31, and a base upper surface 41b facing away from the base lower surface 41a. The base lower surface 41a is a surface facing downward, and the base upper surface 41b is a surface facing upward. The through hole 43 of the screw plate 40 penetrates the base 41 in the vertical direction so as to communicate with the screw hole of the screw boss 30, and a screw 90 described later is inserted through the through hole 43. As shown in FIG. 1, the through hole 43 of the screw plate 40 has a female thread formed on its inner circumferential surface into which the screw 90 is screwed.
[0017] As shown in FIG. 1, the upper break portion 45 protrudes downward from the base lower surface 41a of the base 41. The upper break portion 45 is a portion that is integrally formed with the lower break portion 33 of the screw boss 30 and is integrally formed with the base lower surface 41a. The upper break portion 45 includes an upper root portion 45b (root portion) that contacts the base lower surface 41a and an upper tip portion 45a (tip portion) that is located below the upper root portion 45b, and is formed so that the thickness gradually decreases from the upper root portion 45b to the upper tip portion 45a. Specifically, the upper break portion 45 is formed so that the thickness of the upper tip portion 45a is thinner than the thickness of the upper root portion 45b. A plurality of upper break portions 45 are provided on the base lower surface 41a at intervals in the circumferential direction, and extend radially from the outside of the through hole 43. In the drawings, for ease of viewing, only one of the upper breakable portions 45 is labeled with a reference symbol.
[0018] In this way, the thickness of each of the lower tip 33a of the lower breaking portion 33 and the upper tip 45a of the upper breaking portion 45 is formed to be thinner than the thickness of each of the lower root portion 33b of the lower breaking portion 33 and the upper root portion 45b of the upper breaking portion 45. That is, in the rack 10, the lower tip 33a of the lower breaking portion 33 and the upper tip 45a of the upper breaking portion 45 are formed to be weaker (i.e., less rigid and more easily deformed) than the lower root portion 33b of the lower breaking portion 33 and the upper root portion 45b of the upper breaking portion 45. As a result, when the screw 90 is screwed into the screw hole with the panel 70 in contact with the base upper surface 41b of the base 41 of the screw plate 40, the lower breaking portion 33 and the upper breaking portion 45 are broken by the tightening force at this time. Specifically, the lower breaking portion 33 and the upper breaking portion 45 are configured to break at or near the boundary between the lower tip portion 33a and the upper tip portion 45a due to the tightening force applied when the screw 90 is screwed into the screw hole.
[0019] Next, the operation and effect of the rack 10 according to the embodiment will be described. As described above, according to the rack 10, the lower breakable portion 33 of the screw boss 30 and the upper breakable portion 45 of the screw plate 40 are integrally formed. Then, the lower tip 33a and the upper tip 45a are formed weaker than the lower root 33b and the upper root 45b, respectively, so that the lower breakable portion 33 and the upper breakable portion 45 are broken by the tightening force when the screw 90 is screwed into the screw hole with the panel 70 in contact with the base 41 of the screw plate 40. Specifically, the thickness of each of the lower tip 33a and the upper tip 45a is formed thinner than the thickness of the lower root 33b and the upper root 45b. Thus, in the rack 10, the screw plate 40 is integrally formed with the screw boss 30 in advance. That is, in the process of assembly work for mounting the panel 70 to the rack 10, the screw plate 40 is inserted into the screw 90, and when the screw 90 is screwed into the screw hole with the panel 70 in contact with the base 41 of the screw plate 40, the lower breaking portion 33 and the upper breaking portion 45 are broken by the tightening force. Therefore, a separate work for mounting the screw plate 40 to the screw 90 is not required, and the number of work steps can be reduced. In addition, the screw plate 40 is prevented from falling off during the assembly work, and the workability of the assembly work for fixing the panel 70 to the rack 10 can be improved. Furthermore, since there is no need to manufacture the screw plate 40 alone, the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
[0020] Next, a modified example of the rack 10 according to the embodiment will be described. Fig. 2 is a perspective view showing a modified example of the rack 10 according to the embodiment, with a portion shown in cross section. The rack 10a according to this modified example differs from the rack 10 of the above embodiment in that a notch 50 is provided at the boundary between the lower breakable portion 33 and the upper breakable portion 45. Hereinafter, components having the same or similar functions as the rack 10 of the above embodiment will be given the same reference numerals as the rack 10 and their description will be omitted, and only different portions will be described.
[0021] As shown in FIG. 2, the lower end 33a of the lower break portion 33 and the upper end 45a of the upper break portion 45 are each cut by a perforation 50. IntermittentThe notches 50 are provided in a plurality of portions along the radial direction of the body 31 at the boundary between the lower tip 33a and the upper tip 45a. That is, in the rack 10a, the lower tip 33a and the upper tip 45a are formed to be weaker (i.e., less rigid and more easily deformed) than the lower root 33b and the upper root 45b, respectively. As a result, when the screw 90 is screwed into the screw hole with the panel 70 in contact with the base upper surface 41b of the base 41 of the screw plate 40, the lower breaking portion 33 and the upper breaking portion 45 are broken by the tightening force at this time. Specifically, the lower breaking portion 33 and the upper breaking portion 45 are configured to be broken at the boundary between the lower tip 33a and the upper tip 45a or in the vicinity thereof by the tightening force when the screw 90 is screwed into the screw hole.
[0022] Next, the operation and effect of the rack 10a according to the modified example will be described. As described above, according to the rack 10a, the lower end portion 33a and the upper end portion 45a are connected to each other via the perforated cuts 50. Intermittent In this way, in the rack 10a, the screw plate 40 is formed integrally with the screw boss 30 in advance. That is, when the screw plate 40 is inserted into the screw 90 during the assembly process of mounting the panel 70 to the rack 10a, and the screw 90 is screwed into the screw hole with the panel 70 in contact with the base 41 of the screw plate 40, the lower breakable portion 33 and the upper breakable portion 45 are broken by the tightening force. Therefore, a separate operation for mounting the screw plate 40 to the screw 90 is not required, and the number of work steps can be reduced. In addition, the screw plate 40 is prevented from falling off during the assembly process, and the workability of the assembly process of fixing the panel 70 to the rack 10a can be improved. Furthermore, since there is no need to manufacture the screw plate 40 alone, the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
[0023] Next, the assembly structure 1 according to the embodiment will be described. Fig. 3 is a side view, partially in cross section, showing the assembly process of the assembly structure 1 according to the embodiment. Fig. 4 is a side view, partially in cross section, showing the assembled state of the assembly structure 1 according to the embodiment after assembly is completed. Fig. 5 is a perspective view, partially in cross section, showing the assembled structure 1 after assembly is completed and the panel 70 is removed from the rack 10.
[0024] The assembly structure 1 of the embodiment differs from the rack 10 of the above embodiment in that a panel 70 is attached using a screw 90. Hereinafter, components having the same or similar functions as the rack 10 of the embodiment will be given the same reference numerals as the rack 10 and their explanation will be omitted, and only the different parts will be explained.
[0025] 3 to 5, the assembled structure 1 includes a rack 10, a panel 70 (an adherend), and screws 90. The panel 70 of the assembled structure 1 is made of, for example, a metal material.
[0026] 3 to 5, the panel 70 includes a top plate portion 71, a right side wall portion 72, a left side wall portion 73, a rear side wall portion 74, and a front side wall portion (not shown), and is configured to open downward. The top plate portion 71 is formed in a rectangular shape in a plan view, and is a flat plate-like portion facing the bottom wall portion 21 of the housing 20. The right side wall portion 72, the left side wall portion 73, the rear side wall portion 74, and the front side wall portion (not shown) are flat plate-like portions extending downward from the right side edge, the left side edge, the rear side edge, and the front side edge of the top plate portion 71, respectively, and are arranged to surround the periphery of the top plate portion 71. In the panel 70, the top plate portion 71, the right side wall portion 72, the left side wall portion 73, the rear side wall portion 74, and the front side wall portion (not shown) are formed including a top plate lower surface 71a, a right lower surface 72a, a left lower surface 73a, a rear lower surface 74a, and a front lower surface (not shown), which are surfaces facing downward. The top plate lower surface 71a, the right lower surface 72a, the left lower surface 73a, the rear lower surface 74a, and the front lower surface (not shown) of the panel 70 are disposed opposite the bottom upper surface 21a, the right upper surface 22a, the left upper surface 23a, the rear upper surface 24a, and the front upper surface (not shown) of the housing 20, respectively. The panel 70 also includes an insertion hole (not shown) that penetrates the top plate portion 71 in the vertical direction so as to communicate with the through hole 43 of the screw plate 40, and through which the screw 90 is inserted.
[0027] As shown in Figs. 3 to 5, the screw 90 is inserted through an insertion hole (not shown) of the panel 70 and the through hole 43 of the screw plate 40, and is screwed into a screw hole (not shown) of the screw boss 30, thereby attaching the panel 70 to the rack 10. The screw 90 is composed of a shaft portion 91, which is a rod-shaped portion extending in the vertical direction, and a head portion 92 integrally formed with the upper end portion of the shaft portion 91. The shaft portion 91 of the screw 90 includes a base end shaft portion 91a located on the head 92 side, and a tip end shaft portion 91b extending downward from the lower end of the base end shaft portion 91a. The base end shaft portion 91a is formed with a smaller diameter than the tip end shaft portion 91b. A male thread is formed on the tip end shaft portion 91b, and the male thread is screwed into a female thread formed in the through hole 43 of the screw plate 40 and a screw hole (not shown) formed in the body portion 31 of the screw boss 30.
[0028] Next, an assembly procedure of the assembly structure 1 according to the embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 3 and 4. First, the top plate underside 71a of the top plate portion 71 of the panel 70 is placed on the base upper surface 41b of the screw plate 40 of the rack 10. Next, the shaft portion 91 of the screw 90 is inserted from above to below the top plate portion 71 into an insertion hole (not shown) of the top plate portion 71, and the male thread of the tip shaft portion 91b of the screw 90 is screwed into the female thread of the through hole 43 of the screw plate 40. Thereafter, the male thread of the tip shaft portion 91b is screwed into the female thread of the screw hole of the screw boss 30. 3, in this state, the top plate lower surface 71a, the right lower surface 72a, the left lower surface 73a, the rear lower surface 74a, and the front lower surface (not shown) of the panel 7 have a predetermined distance in the up-down direction from the bottom upper surface 21a, the right upper surface 22a, the left upper surface 23a, the rear upper surface 24a, and the front upper surface (not shown) of the housing 20. In this state, the base end shaft portion 91a of the screw 90 is inserted into the through hole 43 of the screw plate 40.
[0029] Next, when the screw 90 is further screwed into the screw hole, the screw plate 40 rotates relative to the screw boss 30 while being pushed downward by the tightening force. As a result, the lower break portion 33 of the screw boss 30 and the upper break portion 45 of the screw plate 40 break at or near the boundary portion between the lower break portion 33 and the upper break portion 45. Then, as shown in FIG. 4, the lower break portion 33 and the upper break portion 45 are arranged in order in the circumferential direction, and the top plate lower surface 71a, the right lower surface 72a, the left lower surface 73a, the rear lower surface 74a, and the front lower surface (not shown) of the panel 70 come into contact with the bottom upper surface 21a, the right upper surface 22a, the left upper surface 23a, the rear upper surface 24a, and the front upper surface (not shown) of the housing 20, completing the assembly of the panel 70 to the rack 10. In other words, with the panel 70 attached to the rack 10, the lower breaking portion 33 and the upper breaking portion 45 are broken.
[0030] 5, when the screw 90 is removed from the screw hole of the screw boss 30 after the assembly of the panel 70 to the rack 10 is completed, the screw plate 40 separated from the body portion 31 of the screw boss 30 is disposed on the base end shaft portion 91a of the screw 90. In this way, when the panel 70 is separated from the rack 10 after the assembly of the panel 70 to the rack 10 is completed, the screw 90 is held in the panel 70 by its own head portion 92 and the screw plate 40. This prevents the screw 90 from falling out of the panel 70.
[0031] Next, the operation and effect of the assembly structure 1 according to the embodiment will be described. As described above, according to the assembly structure 1 according to the embodiment, the lower break portion 33 and the upper break portion 45 are broken when the panel 70 is attached to the rack 10. That is, the assembly structure 1 is assembled in a state in which the screw plate 40 is inserted into the screw 90 during the assembly work of attaching the panel 70 to the rack 10, and the lower break portion 33 and the upper break portion 45 are broken. Therefore, a separate work for attaching the screw plate 40 to the screw 90 is not required, and the number of work steps can be reduced. In addition, the screw plate 40 is prevented from falling off during the assembly work, and the workability of the assembly work of fixing the panel 70 to the rack 10 can be improved. Furthermore, since it is not necessary to manufacture the screw plate 40 alone, the manufacturing cost can be reduced. Therefore, it is possible to provide an assembly structure 1 that can improve the assembly workability and reduce the manufacturing cost.
[0032] Next, a modified example of the assembly structure 1 according to the embodiment will be described. Fig. 6 is a side view showing a modified example of the assembly structure 1 according to the embodiment, with a portion shown in cross section. The assembly structure 1a according to this modified example differs from the assembly structure 1 of the embodiment in that it has a rack 10a in which a notch 50 is formed at the boundary between the lower breaking portion 33 and the upper breaking portion 45. Hereinafter, components having the same or similar functions as the assembly structure 1 of the embodiment will be given the same reference numerals as the assembly structure 1 and their description will be omitted, and different portions will be described.
[0033] As shown in FIG. 6, the lower end 33a of the lower break portion 33 and the upper end 45a of the upper break portion 45 are cut by perforations 50. Intermittent The notches 50 are provided in a plurality of portions along the radial direction of the body 31 at the boundary between the lower tip 33a and the upper tip 45a.
[0034] Next, the operation and effect of the assembly structure 1a according to the modified example will be described. As described above, according to the assembly structure 1a, the lower end portion 33a and the upper end portion 45a are connected to each other through the perforated cuts 50. Intermittent That is, the assembly structure 1a is assembled in a state in which the screw plate 40 is inserted into the screw 90 during the assembly process of attaching the panel 70 to the rack 10a, and the lower break portion 33 and the upper break portion 45 are broken. This eliminates the need for a separate operation for attaching the screw plate 40 to the screw 90, and reduces the number of steps. In addition, the screw plate 40 is prevented from falling off during the assembly process, and the workability of the assembly work of fixing the panel 70 to the rack 10a can be improved. Furthermore, since there is no need to manufacture the screw plate 40 alone, the manufacturing cost can be reduced. Thus, it is possible to provide an assembly structure 1a that can improve the assembly workability and reduce the manufacturing cost.
[0035] Although the above describes preferred embodiments, the present invention is not limited to the racks 10, 10a and assembly structures 1, 1a according to the above embodiments, but includes all aspects included in the concept of the present invention and the scope of the claims, and each configuration may be appropriately and selectively combined.
