There is disclosed an apparatus for mounting antennas on a utility pole. The apparatus comprises a group of brackets that encircle the utility pole and support the antennas. Each bracket comprises at least one support arm capable of attaching to an antenna and a faceplate that presses against the surface of the utility pole. The apparatus also includes tightening or closure means, such as nut and bolt assemblies, that connect the brackets together. When tightened, the tightening means draw the brackets encircling the utility pole closer together, thereby pressing the faceplates of each bracket more firmly against the utility pole. This clamps the apparatus tightly in place at selected points on the utility pole.

An assembly for reinforcing a longitudinal section of a pole, includes at least two load transfer rings formed by sleeve segments having radically opposed mating ends. A strike plate assembly for mounting on a door frame is disclosed. The door frame forms a clearance hole for receiving the strike plate assembly. A mounting plate is affixed to the door frame in the clearance hole. The mounting plate forms an opening for receiving a bolt from a door knob or lock, such as a dead bolt lock, and forms two substantially parallel slots. A strike plate is affixed to the mounting plate. The strike plate also forms an opening for receiving a bolt from a door knob or lock and forms two substantially parallel slots which are at right angles to the two substantially parallel slots of the mounting plate. Each of the parallel slots of strike plate crosses over a corresponding one of the parallel slots of the mounting plate when the strike plate is properly affixed to the mounting plate. A pair of nuts and bolts affix the strike plate to the mounting plate. One bolt fits through each of the parallel slots of the strike plate and the corresponding parallel slot of the mounting plate. The pair of nuts secure the pair of bolts such that the position of the bolts can be adjusted in the parallel slots of the mounting plate and in the parallel slots of the strike plate, allowing the strike plate to be adjusted both vertically and horizontally with respect to the mounting plate. The opening formed by the strike plate substantially overlaps the opening formed by the mounting plate, although the opening formed by the mounting plate would normally be substantially larger than the opening formed by the strike plate.

A wrench compatible for use in limited access areas is made up of two components. A socket with fluted interior walls cooperates with a handle assembly consisting of a head with complementary fluting on its exterior surface attached to one end of a shaft. The head is inserted into the top of the socket and the shaft is rotated as far as the available space permits. The handle assembly is then lifted upward until the head is separated from the socket, the shaft is thereafter returned to the starting point, the head returned to the socket and rotated again. A band clamp having a band and a nut and bolt fastener. The band includes radially-extending opposed flanges each having an aperture for receiving the bolt. The bolt has a shank that includes a neck, a threaded body for receiving the nut, and a tapered transition from the neck to the threaded body. In one embodiment, the tapered transition extends only partially around the shank such that a portion of the neck has a common surface with the body. Components do not move easily, operation is facilitated, the integrity is good, the safety is high, and the compaction groove screw and the support structure can be applied to railway tunnels, bridge supporting and fixing contact nets, communication signals, electrical equipment and the like.

A locked nut and bolt assembly for bolting a plurality of members one to another in tight abutment, the assembly having: a bolt having a head and a threaded body portion; a complementarily-threaded nut having a nut outside diameter received in locked engagement on the bolt; the plurality of members retained on the bolt between the head and the nut; a casing having—a first terminal portion defining an inwardly protruding retained portion defining a first aperture embracing the bolt body portion and the retained portion in abutment with and retained by the tightened nut; a second terminal portion defining an inwardly protruding covering portion defining a second aperture embracing the bolt body portion and the covering portion in covering close proximity to the nut as to prevent access to the nut by nut engaging and turning means to effect loosening thereof; and a body between the first and the second terminal portions and surrounding the nut in close proximity thereto as to define therebetween a receiving recess for the nut engaging and turning means. The assembly constitutes an anti-theft nut and bolt locking device having enhanced difficulty for unwanted removal of the nut and bolt.
