Abstract
To provide an invention generally relating to a process plant and process control system, or more particularly and to detecting the condition of a device in the process plant by analyzing time-series data.SOLUTION: Process plant data obtained through safe communication is analyzed in order to detect a condition occurring in a process plant entity in a process plant using various machine learning technologies. When the process plant entity denotes a valve, working modes for the valve are discriminated, and different analyses are adapted to the respective modes in which the valve works. Additionally, process plant data of each valve is compared with that of another valve employed in the same process plant, enterprise, or industry. Therefore, the soundness of each valve is relatively ranked with that of another valve, and process plant data of each valve is compared in parallel with that of another valve, and displayed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
