To provide an inkjet recording medium having high water resistance.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording medium is formed by laminating a base material layer, a porous solvent absorption layer and a porous pigment fixing layer in this order, wherein the porous solvent absorption layer contains first inorganic particles and a first binder resin, the porous pigment fixing layer contains second inorganic particles and a second binder resin, and the second binder resin is a water-insoluble amorphous polyester resin having a sulfonic acid group.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
